It is time to deal with what we already know about “Dallas” — as well as what we now can conclude about the 9-11 attacks. We need to proceed to the stage of indictment of suspects. Prosecutors do not need proof in advance; it can be procured through the trial process.
Committee on Assassinations
On March 29, 1979, a Congressional committee – the House Select Committee on Assassination presented its findings in regard to the death of President Kennedy. Although it did a less than satisfactory job, it reached the conclusion that there was probably a conspiracy. Since few people even know there is such a document, I now quote a few lines from it:
- Findings of the Select Committee
- Lee Harvey Oswald fired three shots at President John F. Kennedy. The second and third shots he fired struck the President. The third shot he fired killed the President.
- President Kennedy was struck by two rifle shots fired from behind him….
- Lee Harvey Oswald’s other actions tend to support the conclusion that he assassinated President Kennedy.
- Scientific acoustical evidence establishes a high probability that two gunmen fired at President John F. Kennedy. Other scientific evidence does not preclude the possibility of two gunmen firing at the President. Scientific evidence negates some specific conspiracy allegations.
- The committee believes, on the basis of the evidence available to it, that President John F. Kennedy was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy. The committee is unable to identify the other gunman or the extent of the conspiracy.
John Judge’s Mother
A few years ago, I saw a Youtube video of John Judge, who gave evidence that President Kennedy, as early as April 1963, had planned a complete withdrawal of US troops from Vietnam. The source of his information was his mother who worked at the Pentagon from 1943 to 1973. She was the person responsible for calculating how many solders would be needed for the services, five years ahead – so that the correct number of boys could be drafted.
John Judge’s video’d remarks as to what his mother said about Vietnam were startling. I will cover them in another article. Here I want to outline his belief that Kennedy’s wish to stay out of Vietnam was the reason he go assassinated. “Mom” told him that on the very Monday after the Friday November 22, 1963 assassination, she was asked to change her projection to a very high number of soldiers.
Now I shall present his theory of JFK’s death, in words he wrote in 1996. He sent it as a letter to the Assassinations Archives and Research Center, AARC (not to be confused with the Congressional committee mentioned above). He asks that they look for the evidence that he can only outline.
I now announce in advance that his suspects in the assassination of JFK are: “the ones who wanted a war in Vietnam.” He makes an excellent case. If you are already committed to a different theory, e.g., that the Mafia was taking revenge on Kennedy, or that Allen Dulles was preempting his own sacking, you may find this material to be somewhat compatible with those ideas.
John Judge’s 1996 Letter to the AARC
The following text is unedited, except that I have added bolding.
This policy [of increasing US troops in Vietnam] originated, at least in part, at special meetings of the Kennedy cabinet members in Honolulu that same weekend. [November 23 and 24]. Any and all records concerning that meeting should … be sought for release. Moving almost all the major operational heads of state outside the country the day of the assassination also fits the pattern of a coup.
In addition, I have indications that their most critical communications link to the President was cut. Pierre Salinger relates in his book on the Kennedy years that the “code book” was missing on the military flight bringing the cabinet members back to this country, when they learned of the assassination. This “code book” is a decryption or deciphering manual for verifying and understanding “command and control” messages from the President and other authorized communications to critical government officials and military operational commands and personnel, especially in times of emergency.
During the Vietnam war years, I worked as a civilian counselor to enlisted and drafted members of the military, and to veterans. As part of my work, I met with enlisted men and officers at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. Several disaffected pilots spoke to me in 1973 on the base who had been with the Strategic Air Command on the day of JFK assassination.
These pilots were in the air, as part of a three-shift, 24-hour readiness pattern, at the time Kennedy was killed. They picked up “radio chatter” that the President had been shot in Dallas. Assuming that an alert of some kind would be ordered, or that instructions would be given, one pilot and his co-pilots used a simultaneous key procedure to open the locker containing decrypting code books for use in such emergency situations.
They were surprised to find the code book missing from the locker. They spoke to other pilots on the same shift once they landed at SAC headquarters. I believe this was in Omaha at the time, and other reported the same situation, no code books aboard.
My understanding from them is that these code books were changed on a regular basis, and carefully handled by a chain of command and control that went from the Pentagon down to the plane. Verification of the message is the first step in the process, since false communications or codes could be sent in a wartime situation, and this relies on the decryption sequence in the book. Effectively, if this story is true, the nuclear defense of the United States was compromised at the hour of the JFK murder.
Records concerning November 22-23 at SAC headquarters and the Pentagon should be sought to confirm these matters. The person who developed the SAC procedures and implemented the program was Gen. Curtis LeMay, then Secretary of the Air Force and part of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
I found it curious that, with the President just assassinated, and with a prime suspect identified later that day as a “Communist,” known defector, and a “pro-Castro” activist, that there would not have been some sort of alert on a national, if not international level. If the Joint Chiefs had no idea about who had killed the President, or if they had reason to suspect the Soviet Union was involved, would there not have been reason to go to a readiness alert? Apparently the message the SAC pilots expected to get never came through.
I did learn subsequently from several sources, including G.I.’s, that base alerts were implemented on November 22, 1963, including full readiness for combat deployment and transport at some locations. Planes at some bases were wheeled out onto runways, readied for takeoff, engines running, and then called down near the end of the day. Active duty personnel were called back to base at the time of the assassination was announced, and in some cases were readied for overseas deployment, then released after a few hours. …
I have also gotten several other indicators that there was a planned invasion of Cuba that day. At our public event in Dallas last year, a man spoke to me in private about his activities the day Kennedy was killed. He had dropped his wife off to see our films and presentations, and refused to sign-in on our registration forms. He returned to pick up his wife, and then called me aside.
He asked me who I thought was responsible for the assassination, indicating that he had heard the “Mafia” was mentioned. I said the planning, in my view, came from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the mechanical level involved the Office of Naval Intelligence. At that point, he told me he was with ONI back then, a with a SEAL (sic – Frogman) team that had been prepared and scheduled to go into Cuba and kill Fidel Castro that day.
If my thesis is correct, the planners of the assassination had hoped to use Oswald’s “pro-Castro” identification as an excuse to blame Cuba and Castro for the murder, providing an excuse to invade. These plans may have been cancelled because Oswald survived and might have talked from jail or blown the cover story.
Records from the existing NSC (National Security Council) section working on Cuba at that time, and any special operations regarding Cuba from that week might be revealing. Pentagon and CIA records on Cuba and Fidel Castro and U.S. planning and response from that day would reveal such preparations, if not the relation to Oswald.
Also, base records must exist for November 22 at large military installations that still exist. Ft. Ord is the base from which the invasion plan was apparently being launched, for example. Have these records been requested at any point? All Dallas area and Texas base records and military intelligence records should be sought as well.
Also, if my thesis is correct, it could explain the lack of an alert DEFCON status that day. If members of the Joint Chiefs were planning the assassination coup, they would realize there was no external threat. They may have wanted to be sure that no one outside the “need to know” circle would respond inappropriately, though. This would be especially true if Oswald was planted as the patsy consciously, to make the link to Communism and Cuba for the public and policy planners outside the loop.
However someone might have over-reacted to this, and might have called for war with the Soviet Union. Disarming the SAC bombers prevented that, and prevented anyone else in the chain of command from interfering with the coup itself.
This is speculative, of course. However, records may exist that document, or perhaps even explain the events of that day at the level of military operations. I believe the A.R.R.B. should seek these records. General Curtis LeMay, according to the same DEFCON files, was rumored to have died in a plane crash that afternoon, and the Pentagon press office was responding to that rumor. Was this a cover story intentionally planted for some reason?
LeMay, no friend of the Kennedy brothers, was also seen at the Kennedy autopsy, sitting in the bleecher section by Paul O’Conner and reportedly by Humes. Are there Bethesda Hospital records or witnesses who could tell us who was there that day?
Public reports show that United States Marine Corps Commandant Shoup was at Bethesda for his annual physical at the time of the assassination. Was he outside the loop?
In later years LeMay supported the war in Vietnam. Shoup opposed it. Do we have any record of their positions in 1963? Have day records been sought from the office of the Joint Chiefs, the Secretary of Defense, or the various Defense Secretary offices for each branch?
Both my mother and my aunt related to me at different times the events at the Pentagon that day. The government phone system, an inter-agency system that was securable for private or classified discussions, went out of operation that afternoon at the same time news of the assassination reached their offices. It was down for approximately two hours. This was not the commercial system, but the inter-agency communication lines that would have been most likely to be used during such an emergency.
Most of the heads of the cabinet-level agencies were out of the country at the time as well. These lines were maintained by some branch of government or some subcontractor. Can records be located concerning this problem? Such control would have been modus-operandi for a coup.
Army intelligence agents appear to have played a role in Dallas during the assassination. Surveillance of Oswald by local Army Intelligence preceded the event. James Powell, one agent, was on the scene and in the Book Depository following the shooting. Recently released files indicate that the “Secret Service agents” on the knoll were in fact from Army Intelligence. One witness to the ARRB in Dallas suggested that Army Intelligence filmed the assassination that day.
The 112th Military Intelligence Command, stationed nearby, seems to have played a role. Army Intelligence files have been located concerning Oswald, but not yet released. These records should be pursued actively, especially at the local base level and unit level.
Office of Naval Intelligence must have records. Among the assassination related characters with reported ONI links are Oswald, Bannister, Ruby, Nixon, Gordon Novel, William Sullivan and Cartha Deke DeLoach of the FBI and others.
I spoke with the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the director of their FOIA program at a public event. Both claimed that an agency search for assassination related records had been done, but nothing had been located. I have reason to believe that this is a deception, and that files do exist there which were intentionally not located. This agency has 100 times the budget of the CIA and FBI combined, yet Senator Otis Pike was unable to get a copy of their legal charter on the grounds of “national security.”
Additional records may be found at subcontracting agencies of the Pentagon and CIA, used to carry out national security functions, or as cover for covert operations and military support. One such agency, whose personnel appear at many points during the events of November 22 and subsequently, is Collins Radio, now called Collins Communications and is a subsidiary of Rockwell International.
Jack Crichton, a military officer, was conversant with the Oswalds, and helped Marina get dental care at Baylor University dental school, (and later used for the forensic evaluation of the re-interred Lee Oswald). Kenneth Porter, Marina’s second husband, was an employee of Collins Radio.
Collins owned a ship, The Rex, which was used in a covert raid against Cuba in 1963. Collins Radio also had a contract for secured radio communications ground-transfer to and from Air Force One on November 22, which would also have been critical for a coup operation.
During the recent flap in Washington over the secret funding of a new building in Virginia to house the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), it was revealed that the rental checks were being sent to Collins Communications in Richardson, Texas. Other sub-contracting firms of importance in my view include the Sam Bloom Advertising Agency (Puterbauch and Elizabeth Harris) which did advance work on the Dallas motorcade and also contracted out their equipment to Jaggers Chiles Stoval for use by their employee Lee Harvey Oswald.
Jaggers Chiles Stoval is also of interest, since they provided analysis for photographs taken by the U-2 spy craft that led to the Cuban missile crisis of 1962, when Oswald was working for them. Schlumberger in New Orleans, and the companies used by Shaw, including the World Trade Center, Centro Commerciale Mondiale, Permindex and Double-Chek.
The removal of the President’s body to Bethesda Naval Hospital, preventing a local autopsy and inquest, and confusing the evidentiary trail for years, also reflects possible military planning and cover-up. It may be only coincidental but the Naval Museum of Medicine, established at the site which now houses the Bethesda Naval Hospital, was the site for the autopsy of Abraham Lincoln by military doctors, and the funeral company that embalmed Lincoln, Garrow’s in D.C., also prepared JFK for the grave.
On the other hand, it may be that when things aren’t broken, you don’t have to fix them. The bitter, long argument between the Secret Service and GWU Hospital officials on whether or not President Reagan should be moved to Bethesda instead [after his 1980 shooting], and the insistence of the chief of the trauma section that kept him at GWU (“no matter how much the Navy yells?” asked the ABC commentator), as well as the original reported route of limousine towards Bethesda give me similar reasons for suspicion in this regard.
Any and all records, privately or publicly held, concerning the Bethesda autopsy and operations should be aggressively pursued. Dennis David, a Bethesda employee who was recently interviewed by Nigel Turner, suggests that a film of the autopsy, and other photographs of “slides” (smear or other physical evidence glass slides?) d. Chain of custody of evidence records may still exist in the files for items collected, or tested by the staff members.
The U.S. military had motive, means and opportunity for such a coup and assassination, in ways that other groups blamed with the murder did not. The emerging “military-industrial-complex” of the post-war economy was perceived as a potential threat by President Eisenhower. These other groups may have been involved intentionally at the mechanical level, to allow them to take credit at first and blame later, concealing the real planners.
Both the FBI and the CIA heavily relied on information and technical support from the Pentagon for their spying and covert operations.
The earliest known arrangements between organized crime and U.S. intelligence were not the CIA/Mafia assassination plots against Castro, but World War II arrangements for assistance in the invasion of Sicily by Patton’s Third Army set in motion by Lucky Luciano (later honored for his “wartime services” and released from prison by Thomas Dewey, who had earlier convicted him), and Don Caligaro Vizzini in the Mafia enclaves outside Palermo, who led the way for Patton’s unopposed thrust into the mountains.
From then on, the Third Army was nicknamed “Lucky Forward.” Other arrangements were made between the Mafia at the docks in New York and the Office of Naval Intelligence, ostensibly to prevent sabotage, in 1942, tagged “Operation Luciano.”
CIA plots against Castro and Cuba inevitably involved military operations as back-up or as an actual invasion force. Pentagon planners, like General Edward Lansdale, were at the center of Operation Mongoose and related groups.
Elements of the paramilitary right-wing groups were also provided weapons and even weapons training by military intelligence and base personnel over the years. The players and organizations most commonly named as suspects in the JFK assassination had historical ties to and roots in military intelligence operations.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff and the emerging southern-rim economy of the military-intelligence-complex would fall immediately under any “cui bono” analysis of the Kennedy murder and subsequent military build-up and continuation of the Cold War. The architects of that Cold War sat as members of the Warren Commission, and not least among them Allen Dulles, John J. McCloy, Earl Warren, and John Sherman Cooper. – end of letter from John Judge to the Assassinations Archives and Research Center. He is no longer alive.
Note: William Kelley has got a Go Fund Me campaign going, in regard to unearthing the records that John Judge called for.
As valuable as John Judge’s work was it has been overtaken by later writings. In my view the absolutely indispensable book to be read on the subject is James Douglass’ seminal work JFK: Why he Died and Why it Matters.
No serious researcher believes that LHO had any role at all in the assassination. Shots were fired from at least four different locations including the fatal shot that came from the front, blowing out the back of Kennedy’s head. The medical evidence is detailed in a book written by one of the surgeons at the hospital where JFK was taken.
His brother Bobby and also Martin Luther King were also killed five years later and for the same reasons: they threatened the people who really run the US. It is a measure of the profound dishonesty of the mainstream media that 57 years later they are still lying to us about what really happened and why.

Having much experience with all types of firearms, and the impact that projectiles have on the soft tissue targets they hit, it is obvious to me that the shot that killed Kennedy was fired from Kennedy’s two o’clock positioning. That would place the shot that killed Kennedy from the grassy knoll that keeps getting short shrift whenever it is raised.
The first shot that hit Kennedy came from directly in front, his (Kennedy) 12 o’clock position, and entered his throat just below the ‘adam’s apple.’ This shot came from the overhead bridge the motorcade was about to go under and is just visible in that film.
A third shot came from behind the motorcade, supposedly from the third floor of the Texas Schoolbook depository building, on Dealy Plaza, where Lee Harvey Oswald had been recently employed, the projectile from that shot missed Kennedy and entered the Texas governors body.
I have seen the autopsy photos of Kennedy’s body, and there are only two entry wounds

Your question about how many cases I may or did not lose at court is hardly relevant, as it might refer to prosecutions or defending.
Your attitude of referring to losing or not signifies your sad attitude to the court process. Have you ever considered that all cases are judged on THE EVIDENCE PRESENTED, which is not gathered by counsel.
I have never reported a case as either lost or won. I regard that as misleading. On the evidence presented a case is accepted or not. Justice is the key.
I am saddened that court cases are viewed by many participants as either won or lost…. it is neither. I regard all with a lost or won attitude as betraying the trial process.

Tony – good post! What the author has missed in my opinion, is the two speeches giving warning about the ‘military/industrial complex. The first speech was offered by Eisenhower as his ‘retirement’ speech and the second was Kennedy’s ‘secret societies’ speech given to the American Press Club some 12 months later.
In my view, they are both pivotal speeches that got Kennedy targeted, and then later killed, as his ‘sins’ began to mount up.
Valid points, Nemesis, but I think many writers have ignored those comments because of unedifying context. For example, the nobel words of Eisenhower tend to crumble when you become aware of what he did to juvenile prisoners of war in Germany. Thousands of virtual schoolboys were placed behind barbed wire without food, water, protective clothing, or shelter, and were guarded while they froze or starved to death.
He was an unmitigated psychopathic bastard, even though, seeking immortality through his autobiography “My White House Days”, he exposed the corruption which he was a apart of. My favorite gem was (paraphrased on memory) although the Geneva Conference (1954) determined that there must be free and fair democratic elections in both South and North Vietnam, and that the 13th parallel was merely the convenient agreed-upon demarcation protocol for administrative purposes, the US decided that democratic elections would result in Ho Chi Minh winning on both sides, in a landslide. Thus, democratic elections must not be permitted.
The joke is that the only US objection to Ho Chi Minh was that he was a communist, an opinion resulting from CIA intelligence from people who had no idea what they were talking about. In fact, Ho was anti communist. His motivation was pure nationalism. He had had a guts-full of French, Japanese, British, and now American colonialism and imperialism and simply wanted his country back for the Vietnamese. Moreover, he was previously the leader of the Vietnamese allies of the West against the Japanese in WWII.
Flabbergasted by US reneging on everything it claimed to stand for, he met with what was arguably the greatest general of the 20th century, Giap, and formed an alliance.
Giap had already defeated the French and anybody who understands warfare would immediately recognise that the US commenced losing this war from that moment on.
As a rider, may I say that Giap taught me that there is always a way to win, and no matter how impossible it seems, there is always a way. In my opinion, Giap was eons ahead of Sun Tzu.

Scenario: District Court at sometime in the future. Ned the persecutor puts to Israel the Defendant: Did you attack the U.S.S Liberty and inflict much death and suffering on a recognized allied ship?
The Defendant Israel: answers in response – unfortunately yes, it was forced upon us!
Ned the persecutor; So, you admit you attacked the Liberty?
Defendant: Yes, I have stated that, but you don’t ask why the Liberty was attacked! The Liberty was attacked because it was relaying our military movements to our enemies!
Persecutor: How do you know the Liberty was doing such a thing?
Defendant: Our own intelligence pinpointed the radio signals from the Liberty to Mi6 in London, that were then relayed to Cairo, and so, as we were able to decipher the content of the transmissions we realized that the Liberty, an American spy ship, was giving our military positions away to our enemy.

As we saw it at the time, we had no alternative but to attack the ship and to stop it from transmitting our troop movement to our enemies. In hindsight, if we had known that the CIA and NSA had agents on board the ship and were directing the actions of the ship in its betrayal, we may have had an opportunity to expose what they were doing to the wider world which may have prevented the attack on the Liberty.

Nem, that was pathetic. The Israelis destroyed the ship’s antennas very quickly. It was only a brave engineer during the continuing attack that jury rigged a wire antenna to get the distress calls out.
The ship was essentially ‘out of action’, it couldn’t operate as an intelligence ship. So, why did the Israeli’s continue the attack? Why did they machine gun the life boats? – Were the Israelis afraid the crew might row ashore and deliver hand written messages to the Egyptians?

As for the alleged deliberate shooting up of rubber life rafts and torpedo attacks, I have no verifiable information.
When one goes over the Liberty as a seaworthy vessel, it could be considered to be unsinkable with its many water tight and fire proof compartments.
The Israeli’s knew that So if the Israeli’s wished to destroy the ship they knew how to do it – but the ship was not destroyed and the casualty list was fairly low compared to what could have occurred if the ship had been sunk.
It may interest you to know that the commander of the U.S. aircraft carrier that recalled rescue aircraft from assisting in defending the Liberty was none other than, Senator John McCain’s father.
If you choose to follow that lead, then you will find a whole new understanding of what went on during the attack on the Liberty. A case in point being, that some days before that incident, the Liberty became detached from Navy control and came under the control of the National Security Agency.
Why was that done?
The Liberty was, first and foremost an electronic spy ship.
And with incidents like the Liberty, it will always be the WHY until ALL classified documentation becomes declassified.

That on the cessation of hostilities in the European Theatre of War, there were millions of displaced persons, as well as hundreds of thousands of prisoners, so many in fact was the number, and so huge a problem that the military authorities then in charge were completely overwhelmed and found themselves unable to provide basic human needs because there was no infrastructure in place as it had all been destroyed during the latter stages of the war. Just supplying clean drinking water in many areas was a huge problem! What is the most effective means in tending to large numbers of people – you put them into holding camps!
You ignore 3. That those who felt compelled to speak out on the then inhuman conditions, were seeing only what they wanted to see. They did not, nor could they, fully appreciate the wider and more demanding problem of what to do with vast numbers of humanity, some of who, had determined that the war was not over – and there are many examples of American and British troops being attacked and killed well into 1946. So how did the authorities know who to trust until they were investigated?
You ignore 4. That the number of allied troops then occupying Germany and other countries was into the hundreds of thousands, yet only a handful have felt compelled to speak out? And instead to weighing up a low number of disaffected troops as to the majority who just did their job as they were ordered to, you choose to take the side of the disaffected!
Perhaps you could have included a reference to how the Soviets treated their prisoners just to be fair and balanced, but, and in my own experience with you, you don’t work that way!
You willfully ignore, that while you take to pointing your finger and riding that high horse, you never see the WHY such occurrences were brought about. Think about that statement from Capt Jackson above in relation to the 10,000 German prisoners that he saw.
One can go without food for a couple of weeks & still survive but going without water for just a few days will see people dropping dead.
Let’s just assume that there were ‘only’ 1 million dead German POW’s ( ie: the lower end of estimates – seeing as James Bacque said UPWARDS of 1 million ).
That’s almost FOUR TIMES as many Jews that died in ALL concentration / work camps in ALL German occupied territories for the ENTIRETY of WW II ( according to the International Committee of the Red Cross ) .
Now that’s a genuine Holocaust that the world should be focusing attention on .
