“The Powerful Ones”

As we celebrate Xmas and the biblical story, I post one of Paul Wallis’s latest videos.

Paul talks about the birth of Jesus — but even in the gospels Mary giving birth is not a unique story. The story begins with a close encounter with an Angel and an anomalous pregnancy.

“Could the Elohim and Yahweh stories of the Bible be based on ancient Sumerian, Babylonian, Assyrian, and Arcadian narratives of the Dingir and Anunnaki figures, which today we might describe as Aliens? Are there references to extraterrestrials and contact experiences in the New Testament? This video explores key events from the New Testament, such as the Annunciation, Epiphany, and Revelation, through the lens of ancient narratives, mythology, and modern interpretations. Discover how tropes like miraculous pregnancies and cosmic encounters bridge cultures and eras, raising questions about divine contact and advanced technology in human history.”

  1. Night B4 Christmas

    CLIF HIGH

    DEC 24

‘Twas the night b4 Christmas, when all through the house
    Not a creature was stirring, just me with my hand on the mouse;
The front door was barred, I was strapped,
Because of too many heads, filled with fentanyl and crack.

I sat in my chair, staring at the screen,
    The quiet of night grander , mostly unseen;
Hot decaf tea hydrating my thoughts,
Had just settled down from the day’s shitposts and bots.

When through the open door there shone a strange light,
I stood from my chair to behold such a sight.
My hand went to my pistol as I ran, curious and keen,
As out from the mist, stepped a figure serene.

The moon light on the new-fallen snow,
Gave my red-dot sight reason to glow,
And what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But an alien form, bringing gifts none could peer.

He almost got shot, this lone visitor from space,
    Carrying devices from some far-off place;
He entered the room, his purpose clear and tall,
To change our world, once and for all…..

    • MM did you listen to Paul Wallis?

Is Kiri singing to “the powerful ones” …?

“O Holy night! The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth…”

Was this ‘event’ a species designing moment or something else?

      And…
“Fall on your knees; O hear the Angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born
O night, O Holy night, O night divine!”

I can’t look at this (Xmas) in the Religious sense anymore…. or even the hymns ?

      Am I the only one?

  2. One of our dear commenters posted this quote from Virginia Wolf two days ago. In case u did not see it:

ā€œWhatever happens, stay alive. Donā€™t die before youā€™re dead. Donā€™t lose yourself, donā€™t lose hope, donā€™t loose direction.
Stay alive, with yourself, with every cell of your body, with every fiber of your skin.
Stay alive, learn, study, think, read, build, invent, create, speak, write, dream, design.
Stay alive, stay alive inside you, stay alive also outside, fill yourself with colors of the world, fill yourself with peace, fill yourself with hope.
    Stay alive with joy.
There is only one thing you should not waste in life, and thatā€™s life itself.ā€

  3. Merry Christmas
    with joyful blessings always.
    Sisters and brothers
    kindness and generosity,
    in faithful prayer,
    true inspiration for better days.

Iā€™m a sinner tested, demonic within attacking physically and spiritually,
yet still believe in His everlasting love peace and forgiveness.

  4. Joyful blessings to you too Tony and all my gumshoe super sleuth family past present and emerging.

I posted part one of Nate’s interview a while ago it did not get much traction
Today it is right on topic and so I post this second interview.
It reflects my knowledge and experience — I have only watched the first half hour so far — I need to rest

Bravo Dee: The Bible is not about God –it is the Powerful Ones
My next comment is so close to my heart and my very existence at this very moment.

This arrived today from Margaret Anna Alice through the Looking Glass

  5. If I was interested in forensically analysing the Bible I would start with the left-out bits, the Apocrypha with the space aliens and so forth but I am too lazy and let Robert Sepehr do the work

He has various critics but none of them seem to do any better than just sniping at him so what’s the use of them.
Happy Xmas to the publisher and support acts, thanks for all the work

  6. In this time humans have the ability to project holograms from objects based on the ground, in the air or under water. Without the help of space aliens anything in Hollywood can be seen in the sky, water or right in front of you.

      • Thanks Ned, good question. I am sure there is more going on in organic natural life than space aliens. I think you might agree with me that beyond that, or even up to that we know SFA.
Having once been secure in the comfortable world view that there is no God, I think I can understand Paul Walis as good as any.
If I do not see the hand of God in Nature or even the night sky, why would I even begin to ask if God is involved in the Bible.
This kind of view works pretty well in our university culture and finds acceptance with others. I am not claiming anything is out there, so the burden of proof is not on me. Easy
Well though I thought I was good at defending my position, it was rudely interrupted by a personal spiritual experience that I had.
Space aliens at it again anyone?
I now find myself in a far less comfortable and considerably less popular position where I see the hand of God in almost everything.
So with due respect to Paul Walis, he has nothing new to bring to the Table. I could point out some obvious weaknesses in his biblical argument, but would that not shit everyone to tears? In the end he has said things that some people want to hear.
Although some of us are better than others at sounding objective, bottom line is that the more foundational the subject, the less objective humans become.

        • “I am sure there is more going on in organic natural life than space aliens.” – I think I can safely say that is foundational to Gumshoes and speaking of foundational ” the more foundational the subject, the less objective humans become.” – is there a test ?

          • Yes, Bogan. We are in it and it matters a lot.
In the end nobody is going to care how clever we think we are either.

          • The inability to see the hand of God in life is a self imposed condition. Best name I know for it is spiritual blindness.

          • I’m sort of on the fence about it. Everything keeps expanding.
I don’t much like the “we’re in a simulation” trope but how else can people be expected to interpret / describe it all.
