            With regard to Emick Jones. I have tried to engage him in private and in public (in that order) in some discussion of his philosophical and theological assumptions that I can reasonably disagree with.     Scott Morrison continually referred to “we” when talking about the decision to appoint himself to 5 ministerial positions but when asked who “we” were he stumbled and said the government. But he had kept the 5 appointments secret so how could “we” mean the government?..............."

    • Easy question, he needs to go because the weather is better, and he is doing some other deals too. Have you checked out the temperature in Melbourne right now ? Superannuation is very important at the moment with baby boomers typically over 70 dying from the injections, they put about 1/10 of their lifetime income into super and now it’s the government’s chance to steal it all, and spend it on unlimited overseas trips and politician’s super.

    Well this is certainly creating some chatter. And I am already seeing a completely different reaction to the (?fatwa) stabbing of Salman Rushdie. Certainly not the same level of shock and condemnation – more like obfuscation.
