Meanwhile, back on the topic of exposing Trump’s shortcomings, I recall listening to Zio-Dave (and a few misguided souls right here on Gumshoe – esp. the recalled to Mossad HQ troll Nemesis), and hearing him say Trump was going to oversee a rejuvenation of American manufacturing, bring jobs back home (and implicit in this statement was that Americans would then buy more locally made products and the trade deficit would shrink).
I laughed out loud at the ridiculousness of that statement. Even Myopic Marvin could see that Trump was an economic illiterate and that he was going to greatly exacerbate America’s trade imbalances.
