A Declining United States Requires Fresh Australian Thinking

What we are watching in the United States now is the death of what little remains of their democracy. It has been a long slow process, not aided by a voting system that is hopelessly antiquated. In recent years what the 60% or so of American voters thought they were voting for rarely has translated into acts by Congress.

A very interesting study published a little over two years ago showed that what the 1% of enormously rich individuals wanted was what the public actually got. The only time that the wishes of the masses were translated into government policy was on the rare occasions where the wishes of the 1% and the 99% coincided. Perhaps needless to add, that occurred on a vanishingly small number of occasions.

One obvious illustration of this point was the extraordinarily large percentage of the annual federal budget that was spent on armaments. The size of the United States “defence” budget was greater than that of the next nine largest spenders combined.

How was that money spent? Rather obviously it was used to assert American military wishes upon the world. Part of that was on maintaining over 800 military bases, the overwhelming majority of which were aimed at “containing” either Russia or China. Since at least the fall of the Soviet Union 30 years ago it has been impossible to detect any Russian threat outside its own borders.

By contrast, NATO military bases have steadily moved Eastwood and are now found in all main European countries that formed part of the old Soviet Union. That march eastward has been relentless. That it is also directly contrary to solemn assurances given to Russian leaders immediately after the collapse of the Soviet Union does not cause the Americans the loss of a single night’s sleep.

China has had a long history of battling United States deception. We now know that the Korean war was clearly designed to eliminate the then-new Communist government of China. The United States and its allies, including Australia, drove the North Vietnamese out of the South which they had invaded in 1950, part of an ongoing tit-for-tat military confrontation that had gone on since the end of World War II.

Contrary to the terms of the United Nations resolution authorising the military action to expel the Northern forces from the 1950 invasion of the South, the US led forces kept going up to the Chinese border. We also now know that General MacArthur, the commander of United States forces in Korea, sought mission to use nuclear weapons on the Chinese forces that came to North Korea’s aid. That fact was concealed from the general public for decades afterwards. Fortunately, Truman declined the request.

The Chinese intervention saw the rapid expulsion of United States and Allied forces from the North.  Thereafter most of the rest of the war saw the destruction by Allied planes of the North’s infrastructure. Millions of Koreans, the majority of them civilians, died in the United States led onslaught. The war finally ended in a ceasefire in 1953. 67 years later there has never been a peace treaty signed.

The Korean war was only one of the United States’ wars fought between 1945 and the present day. It is often claimed of Donald Trump that he was the first post-World War II president not to start a new war. Whether or not one accepts that view depends in part on one’s definition of war. He may not have started any new fighting, but he certainly carried on the United States tradition of attempting regime change in countries whose leadership did not accept United States hegemony.

Ask the people of Cuba or Venezuela for their view of United States’ non-warfare. Cuba has been under constant United States pressure since 1959 and to this day has a United States military base on its property contrary to their wishes. It is also the site of one of the United States’ bases where foreigners are held captive for years on end with no trial and no hope of release. It is an example always worth bearing in mind when one hears arguments about United States democracy or justice. And it is only one example of many such establishments scattered around the world.

We are now hearing constant propaganda about how the new United States president, the manifestly mentally declining Joe Biden, will be different. He may well exhibit some differences from his predecessor, but the test will be the differences he brings to United States foreign policy, and more particularly whether he has learned anything in his four years out of office. His initial statements and appointments of his top aides gives no ground for hoping that United States foreign policy will be any better than it has been for decades.

Biden talks for example of returning to Europe. By this he means asserting United States control of European foreign policy. That may prove more difficult than he or his team imagine. Europe has learned some lessons from the past four years. More importantly, they have taken definite steps to assert their interests, recently signing a deal with China that had been seven years in the making.

The Americans were furious at this development. Why would that be? The obvious answer is because Europe was showing concrete signs of acting in its interests, rather than following the United States wishes by trying to isolate China. More than 150 countries and organisations have signed up to China’s Belt and Road Initiative (but not including the United States or Australia).

The latter country clearly has a death wish with China, as the Chinese reaction to the ham-fisted Australian foreign policy moves attracts the inevitable retaliation.

To describe Australia as having a death wish with China is perhaps too kind. It implies they know what they are doing, rather than blindly stumbling from one crisis to another. One of the great ironies of Australia’s trade war with China is that the United States has been a principal beneficiary. Australian politicians are so stupid they ignored the recent offer by China’s Prime Minister to sit down and try to resolve their differences. They no doubt fear being told that being a blind ally of the United States is not the way to win friends and influence people in the rapidly changing world of the 2020s.

If the Australian media were doing even half their jobs they would be pointing out that the Europeans have just signed the largest-ever trade and investment deal with the Chinese, and are not looking fearfully at their independence being under threat as a result.

The incoming Biden administration will do what all United States administrations have done for decades: they will act as always in what they perceive to be United States interests. As the great German statesman von Bismarck pointed out well over a century ago: “nations have neither friends nor enemies, only interests.”

In these days of rapidly declining United States hegemony, it would be a lesson that Australia would do well to heed.

In this interview Father Malachi Martin says “There was this consecration, this enthronement of Satan within the Vatican, of Lucifer by the way. It’s a historical fact. It was done one particular day by a certain group of people representing Luciferians all over the world, especially American Luciferians. It was done. Therefore, in a certain sense, Lucifer has power. He doesn’t own yet, but I’m sure he hopes to own some Pope as his man.”

We hope you might listen to this Priest’s words from yesterday in the context of today’s state of our Church, particularly with respect to the reign of False Prophet Pope Francis.

  2. OK, back early, was waiting for the 20th.

Photo leading article has the “eye of Horrus'(sic intended). No attribution assigned to the author however.

    Paradox and paradym’s, per usual.

How could Cuba possibly resist such force. The bay being famous for the Maine bombing incident of the Spanish wars firing pin.

How could China resist with steel made in the back yard of patriots. Coined 38th parallel. (but they did) ((apparently)).

Who is on the hook to both pay for and take reparations from these “events”.Hint.. The CO2 lung enabled emitters.

How could the US suddenly be useless given the massive expense of military hardware, to this point in time.

Is the US dollars still the median of exchange. Hint.. Yes.

The sharade continues, unabated in my view.

    • Simon, in relation to your question (How could the US suddenly be useless given the massive expense of military hardware ?), you haven’t been keeping up with some of the comments being posted here on Gumshoe, as to why the U.S taxpayer gets very little bang for every buck spent on military hardware.

The U.S did not ‘ suddenly’ become useless. Bear in mind they started from a low base (ie: next to useless), and have deteriorated further since then.

Firstly, you’ll recall the announcement by Rumsfeld the day before 9/11 saying the Pentagon could not account for $ 2.3 trillion in supposed military outlays.

(Hint: Rabid Zionist Dov Zakheim was the Comptroller for the Pentagon. It’s pretty easy to work out that said funds were diverted to Israel and/or other Zio-cronies).

Secondly, that was 20 years ago. There are reports that this missing $2.3 trillion has grown to $6-7 trillion (low estimate) and up to as much as $15-20 trillion (high estimates).

To the extent that the U.S has a nuclear arsenal and some high tech weaponry, it can certainly cause mischief in its bullying of little and impoverished countries.

But, on the ground, after fighting these pointless wars for 20 years, the morale is shot to bits and the U.S would not dare attack even a middle ranked power like Iran in a land based engagement.

To quote the words of Paul Craig Roberts (slightly paraphrased):

‘The U.S has been in Afghanistan for 20 years and cannot even defeat a few thousand lightly armed Taliban’.

(The Taliban are in control of most of Afghanistan).

Bottom Line : Simon, you’ve been sucked in by the all the MSM propaganda about how powerful the U.S military is.
      The reality is far different.

Check out this article titled ‘Revealed: Russian Invasion Could Overrun NATO in 60 Hours’ :

Yes Simon, you read right. Russia would defeat NATO ( NATO = U.S European based military units PLUS the combined military assets of all the western European countries, in a TWO and a HALF DAYS !!

That article was from 5 years ago – the military capability of the U.S has declined even FURTHER in the interim.

  3. James,
As a Geopolitical analyst I understand the thrust of your article but should you ever wish to comprehend what is really going on in the photo at the top of your article (Parliament House, Canberra) and thus Federal politics you must, just as if you wish to do the same for the U.S. situation comprehend the whole thing is a subtly laid out piece of occult symbolism.

I can’t show you pictures in this format but spend some time looking at the alignments and monuments – partic.the structures of Parliament House (partic. the flagpole), Mount Ainsle and tower, the War Memorial, Old Parliament House, Anzac Parade and the Black Mountain (Telstra) Tower.

Plot the whole thing on a satellite map, and you will discover therein something SO bizarre that it is impossible for it to be a coincidence.

Our research over many years has uncovered, all over the world, in major centers the Satanist Globalists have installed such occult alignments and monuments in their places of power, particularly in areas where multitudes of people gather. AND there purpose ISN”T in the peoples interest!

  6. Trump Forces Loot Syria’s Grains, Smuggle Them to Iraq
    by Miri Wood

Trump forces have looted more Syrian agricultural grains. On 10 January a convoy of 50 trucks and refrigerated containers left al Malikiyah, Hasakah — Syria — transporting them into Iraq via the illegal al Walid border crossing. This time the theft was focused on Syria’s barley. There is a certain western supremacy irony in the […]

  7. James, in relation to this comment in your article :
‘The size of the United States “defence” budget was greater than that of the next nine largest spenders combined’,
people need to bear in mind that this is based on the ‘official’ budget estimate of military expenditure (around USD $ 750 billion).

The ACTUAL expenditure could well be $ 1 Trillion or more.

    Let me explain.

When one thinks of ‘military expenditure’, one assumes that military related items would be paid out of the Defence Budget.

So, if an injured / amputee / PTSD’d veteran / Body-Bagged corpse (in need of a funeral) returns to the U.S and needs treatment, one would assume this care / hospital treatment / ongoing rehabilitation would be funded from the Defence Budget – since they’re responsible for messing up this bloke’s life.

But it isn’t. It’s funded by a separate department – the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Similarly, the overwhelming bulk of the tens of billions that NASA gets is for space based military weapons and R & D.

With Trump’s new ‘Space Force’ creation, no doubt there’d be billions more.

People assume that America’s nuclear missile arsenal is funded from the Defence Budget.
Well, the actual procurement and manufacture of said warhead is I believe.

But the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the nuclear missile silo (many billions) and related costs is paid for by the Dept of Energy.

I’m told that other supposedly ‘military expenditure’ is paid by other government departments.

eg: soldiers have barracks and housing provided for them at or near their various bases.
Some, or all of this is funded by HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development).

So, when all these ‘off budget’ expenditures are all factored in (there are others I haven’t listed which escape me at the present moment), the ACTUAL Defence and defence related budget is much, MUCH larger than the headline number.

It has been infiltrated with seditious Freemason traitors with impunity with various illegal/unlawful Acts have taken place without a Peoples Referendum.

  9. If Barrett Joins, Supreme Court Would Have Six Catholics
    https://www.usnews.com/news/politics/articles/2020-09-26/if-barrett-joins-supreme-court-would-have-six-catholics
It’s a striking development given that the high court, for most of its history, was almost entirely populated by white male Protestants. Catholic academics and political analysts offer several explanations for the turnaround – related to Catholics’ educational traditions, their interest in the law, and – in the case of Catholic conservatives – an outlook that has appealed to recent Republican presidents filling judicial vacancies.

There has been a majority of Catholic justices on the Supreme Court since Alito joined in 2006.

Sotomayor is the only Democratic nominee in that period who is Catholic. The other three — Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer and Elena Kagan — have been Jewish.

    • Sonia Sotomayer’s mother is a Puerto Rican Jew – so by default, so is Sonia :

“Sonia Sotomayor : a Sephardic Jew.

The surname “Sotomayor,” as well as her mother’s maiden name “Baez,” are both of Sephardic Jewish origin.”

      • The whole purpose of revealing who is who with the US Supreme Court is both the hierarchy of Jews and Catholics hate the US Constitution and the have been trampling on it as both groups have their agenda.
