Another “Sudden” Shocking Death of a Popular TV Host

I have to say… I was shocked.

This afternoon I learned “MasterChef host and award-winning restaurateur Jock Zonfrillo has died. He was 46 years old.”

I try not to watch mainstream Australian television, but I occasionally flick through the news or watch a show while munching down dinner. I happened to watch some Masterchef, and one judge (also a celebrated chef) shone like a bright light — and that was Jock.

I dislike many Australian TV personalities, but if I had to make a choice of who I would put at the top of the pile — it would have been Jock Zonfrillo. He was vibrant, enthusiastic, and full of life. He was a shining light and always encouraged the contestants to dig deep and be their best. He was energetic, bright-faced, with clear eyes, and looked in peak health.

And then, it seems, he died suddenly on Sunday.

First, I convey my condolences to his (third) wife, his four children, and all his family. They are obviously grieving deeply and have asked the media to let them grieve in peace. They said, “With completely shattered hearts and without knowing how we can possibly move through life without him, we are devastated to share that Jock passed away yesterday… So many words can describe him, so many stories can be told, but at this time we’re too overwhelmed to put them into words.”

Well, how did the mainstream media report his passing? Let me explain some of the subconscious deceptions.

I was just about to walk out of the apartment and flicked on the 4:00 pm news. They announced his “sudden” and “shocking” death, then immediately followed it with…

“he had dealt with drugs earlier in his life and suffered depression” (or words similar).

If I didn’t understand how the MSM reports matters it would have left me thinking, “I wonder if he harmed himself?” They did a similar thing with Warnie.

These are some of the mainstream reports:

“MasterChef star Jock Zonfrillo’s eerie final post before tragic death…TV show judge and renowned chef Jock Zonfrillo had a message for viewers just hours before his tragic death at 46.”

I searched the internet, and it seems the “eerie final post” was him demonstrating how to cut onions and then, with his signature broad smile, revealed some cool-looking glasses that could stop his eyes from tearing up. This was followed by a clip of him eating satay chicken.

Another report:

“On Monday, Victorian police officers attended an address on Lygon Street, in the inner Melbourne suburb of Carlton, at 2am when they found Zonfrillo’s body. Victoria Police confirmed that officers had been called to conduct a welfare check. “The 46-year-old man’s death is not being treated as suspicious,” police said in a statement, adding they would prepare a report for the coroner.”

Why the welfare check? Please explain. Was this because he did not answer the phone?

More reports:

“Masterchef: Did Jock Zonfrillo Suicide? Depression And Mental Health Update... rumors are circulating that he died after committing suicide.”

“He sadly battled with drug addiction, homelessness, unemployment and chaos in his personal life… So, it can’t be confirmed whether the MasterChef judge committed suicide. Meanwhile, the topic of his committing suicide first came into the media when a Twitter user made a post on Twitter saying that Jock died after committing suicide…” (with a link to a video why he likes his worry beads.)

There were headlines about his dark past. “Jock Zonfrillo Open Up About His Dark Past And Life Before MasterChef | The Project … [and] … a dark past of aggression, heroin use and homelessness. Carrie sat down with him to find out how he found a way out of his downward spiral.” But on closer scrutiny, you realize the report refers to an interview done by The Project a YEAR ago.

At The Peak of Life

He was at the prime of his life and the peak of his exciting career. He was also advertising the latest edition of the cooking show was set to premiere on Channel 10 tonight — with Jamie Oliver.

Then a Twitter report finally starts talking up the POSITIVE side:

“In an interview with Jock Zonfrillo in 2021 about his life, he told The Project, ‘I’ve got an amazing wife. I’ve got these amazing children who I’m super connected and close to. I’ve arrived at this moment in my life where I feel like I’ve won a gold medal.’ Vale, Jock.

Jock had MILLIONS of fans. I hope this is a wake-up call for them.

But what about the media?

They have failed … failed … failed to mention the V word. They ignore any possible scientific cause for “died suddenly”. To clarify, I have no idea why he died, or why there was a “welfare check”. Maybe there is an issue of a drug problem. High-profile celebrities do have dependencies to keep pace with the demands on them, but many of us can review the possibility that maybe he died because his workplace wanted him to “comply”. How many apples he took we do not know. Will the coroner find stringy white things? I guess we will never hear.

All I can say to his family is that they must find out the cause of death; they must seek restitution for his children’s loss if this is the case. They deserve to know, and they should be free to publicise the facts.

I would advise them not to speak to the media as the media will not speak the truth.

THE MEDIA ARE LIARS. They refuse to report on the medical catastrophe that has unfolded. They are silent and complicit — and are still advertising for people to get more apples.

To me, this is more obvious than the death of Shane Warne (51). So will this be a wake-up call for millions of Australians?

UPDATE 15/5/2023

I reflect back on the mainstream media reporting of the passing of Jock Z. It leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. Many outlets sought to dig up innuendos implying his dark past as the possible cause. Not one reflected that this is yet another suspicious “sudden death” — and none dared to question his vaccine status or that excess deaths have blossomed since the roll-out. To possibly question whether the vaccine was the cause would be toxic — would it? But I believe their innuendos were toxic.

This was reported about a week ago (news.com.au):

“A source claimed to the publication Zonfrillo had been tended to on “a number of occasions” prior to his death on Sunday at Carlton’s Zagame’s House hotel. Police found the MasterChef judge dead at 2am on May 1 after reportedly receiving a “tip off” from an unidentified source. According to the Daily Mail, his wife Lauren Fried was the woman who made the frantic call to police.

“Ms Fried, who was in Rome, Italy, with their two children at the time, had reportedly become worried for her husband’s safety when he fell out of his regular phone call routine. [which I suspected and suggested] The chef’s cause of death will be determined by an autopsy, and Victoria Police have confirmed the 46-year-old’s death is “not being treated as suspicious”. [I don’t believe there will be an honest autopsy]

“There was no drug paraphernalia located in the hotel room and police believe the father-of-four died of natural causes, according to the Daily Mail. [Why did they not report this immediately]

  3. The police have never called me for a welfare check, I never heard of such a thing before until the guy in Queensland the other day was prevented from self-harming by police executing him with bullets.

    • Looking at the TV for a few seconds this morning it seems a “welfare check” is called for perhaps if your neighbour sees you actually dead on the lawn. Well they are certainly dressing it up as a suicide. Anthony Bourdain also “suicided” after talking too much about pedos etc. Reportedly favourite method of the Clintons. So the concept has become meaningless, “no suspicious circumstances”, some people are licensed to kill.

    • ant56 – I’ve been to three funerals in four months. The church, the services were held at, had to call in a retired priest because of the increased numbers of funerals – I got that info from the priest’s mouth.

      Dee – I flick through the Daily Mail 0nline (been banned from that site due to certain Truths presented in my comments) I see what you notice every day – they bend over backwards in attempting to hide what should be presented as public knowledge.

      Their time, as the purveyors of lies, is just about up.

  7. wow, you know what I love about chefs, and remember that one they chased outa town(don’t do tv).
    Food is health, and I admire what Jamie Oliver tried to do in that space, did the tech on the back end of their system which were right next to the kitchens, quality with health and “experience”, then the apple eye of Woolworths took them out
    Chefs are usually sociopath because of their crazy hours, so I was welcomed in many kitchens/operation(give pizza hut a big miss, shouldn’t even feed it to pigs/hogs

  10. Religion supporters and Catholic dreamers who are amongst readers of this type of blogg, need to start up their new thing, the old thing is kaput.
    We now have these perverts infesting old religion and public health.
    Finance, treasury, military, I won’t even include.
    Hospitals and social services used to be done by the church out of tithes and donations. Finance got in and it all went off the rails.
    The grassroots needs to start over, these government enterprises are infested with Rockerfellas’ brainwashed and minions. None of it can be trusted, it’s useless to fund it. It all needs a Great Reset by throwing the lot in the rubbish and starting again.

  12. Today’s Adelaide Advertiser headline Zonfrillos secret cancer battle. So he supposedly had bowel cancer.

    Doesn’t look like a man with bowel cancer to me. As Dee said, looks like a man in his prime.

    Since when did bowel cancer cause sudden death? At 46 years of age?

    Another insane headline in the Advertiser today about an ex SA cop being investigated by Ireland for his connection to a major criminal…What??!! Don’t they realise all SA cops have impunity from prosecution??!!

    So many lies.

    The star chef hoped to open a sandwich bar before he was tragically found dead in Zagame’s House on Melbourne’s famed Lygon Street in the early hours of Monday.

    He’d been scouring potential locations for the restaurant and workshopping new recipes for his cookbook, which was in development with the backing of Simon and Schuster.”
