Iran has always been on the “list.”
The Seven Country Memo
Retired General Wesley Clark held onto a secret for six years. It was only in 2007 that he decided to publicly disclose how he was told of a memo in the Pentagon in 2001 — soon after the September 11 False Flag. This is an extract of his interview with Democracy now:
GEN. WESLEY CLARK: So I came back to see him a few weeks later [2001], and by that time we were bombing in Afghanistan. I said, “Are we still going to war with Iraq?” And he said, “Oh, it’s worse than that.” He reached over on his desk. He picked up a piece of paper. And he said, “I just got this down from upstairs” — meaning the Secretary of Defense’s office — “today.” And he said, “and finishing off with IRAN.”
US Iran Tensions
Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal in May and reimpose sanctions seemed to escalate tensions between the two countries.
On Sunday (21/7/2018), Iranian President Hassan Rouhani issued a stern warning to President Trump against provoking Tehran through sanctions, and warned,
“Mr. Trump, don’t play with the lion’s tail; this would only lead to regret. America should know that peace with Iran is the mother of all peace, and war with Iran is the mother of all wars… You are not in a position to incite the Iranian nation against Iran’s security and interests.”
Trump replied in CAPS:
It seems to have started with with a “blistering speech” on Sunday by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the Ronald Reagan National Library in Simi Valley, California. He said:
“The level of corruption and wealth among regime leaders shows that Iran is run by something that resembles the mafia more than a government… These hypocritical holy men have devised all kinds of crooked schemes to become some of the wealthiest men on Earth while their people suffer.”
Israel’s President Benjamin Netanyahu had to chime in, with:
“I would like to praise the tough stand expressed yesterday by President Trump and Secretary of State Pompeo against the aggression of the Iranian regime. Over the years, this regime has been spoiled by the major powers and it is good to see that the US is changing this unacceptable equation.” [More here.]
Australia in a Warmongering Mentality
This morning we heard from the Australian government, as reported by the ABC:
“Senior figures in the Turnbull Government have told the ABC they believe the United States is prepared to bomb Iran’s nuclear capability, perhaps as early as next month, and that Australia is poised to help identify possible targets.
“[And that] secretive Australian defence facilities would likely play a role in identifying targets in Iran, as would British intelligence agencies… But a senior security source emphasized there was a big difference between providing accurate intelligence and analysis on Iran’s facilities and being part of a ‘kinetic’ mission.”
Australia will help with “targeting.”
One could compare this to the crew in a tank. It has a crew of four: the driver, the commander, the gunner and the loader. It’s team work. They are in the fight together — regardless of who actually aims and fires, and from where.
Australia, get out of the tank.
Are all the Western World’s leaders imbeciles? They seem to want a nuclear war with anyone. If they can’t goad Russia into a conflict, then Iran is the next choice.
Is Mike Pompeo stating a fact about Iran or the US? To the ordinary people around the World he is speaking about the situation in America and most of the Western World. Instead of Holy men the word “bankers” would do as a substitute.
Malcolm Turnbull showed himself up some time ago, as being a pawn to the Cabal of the One World Government.
Yes, Mal, this is rich:
“The level of corruption and wealth among regime leaders shows that Iran is run by something that resembles the mafia more than a government.” — could be anyone.
But Mal, I don’t agree that “all the western leaders” want such-and-such to happen. They don’t really WANT anything. They are robots, obeying blindly the powers at the top who run all countries.
That fact should make Iranians even angrier — to know that their own “government” is in on the deal, never mind he words of hurt or fury.
i wish a few more Bostonians would get the same insight regarding the 2013 Marathon, or New Yorkers re 9-11.
Thanks for jumping in on this one, Dee. You never miss a beat.
But it’s not enough for Gumshoe to display the issue. Aussies have to care. They have to have a social conscience. Here in America I see very little awareness of the tragedies we are causing.
Most of Wesley Clark’s nations have been demolished — e.g, Sudan, Somalia, Libya, and Iraq. How many widows are there? How many soldiers are disabled for life? How many cultural buildings reduced to rubble?
Hillary Clinton if elected=WW3 with Russia.
Donald Trump as POTUS=WW3 with Iran at the behest of Israel,England and Saudi Arabia and Australia will offer up our citizens as canon fodder,AGAIN!!!!!
I thought Trump had already bombed Iranian nuclear facilities in Norther Syria under the guise of destroying Syrian chemical weapons. And since Trump doesn’t telegraph his moves, this seems to look like more Western media and cabal meddling.
But what’s new?
Half Off-Topic
Dee’s article made me think of the book Daughter of Persia which shows you where Iran stood before 1950. So I went to Amazon to look at it (62 customer reviews) and was told that peeps who but that book also by one on China intriguingly entitled “Oracle Bones.” The ad for that says:
“A century ago, outsiders saw China as a place where nothing ever changes. Today the country has become one of the most dynamic regions on earth. In Oracle Bones, Peter Hessler explores the human side of China’s transformation, viewing modern-day China and its growing links to the Western world through the lives of a handful of ordinary people. In a narrative that gracefully moves between the ancient and the present, the East and the West, Hessler captures the soul of a country that is undergoing a momentous change before our eyes.”
Some Chinese immigrants I have spoken to in Adelaide would not exactly call the change “momentous.” More like “horrendous.”
Let’s get a grip, everybody.
I particularly like the symbolism of the two pictures I melded together.
I know this is politically incorrect, but you can imagine all those Australians on their knees at Pine Gap — under those domes – bowing to the ‘powers that be’ — to those that have and control secrets we are not allowed to know. Secret business for powers and people that have no names. And we must push buttons when told to do so.
Small correction, Dee, if I may.
“all those Australians on their knees at Pine Gap” has to include all of us.
But I get your point about the dome-ishness of it all.
And yes we have a TRUE INSTINCT for adoring those who have secrets! Talk about crazy!
Most people know little of what Iran is about, I having not heard from any Iran individual and think it fair comment to hear from these people as to what there concerns are, other than being told what Iran is about by Western sources.
It seems to me a continued war that the Imperialist Nations require and worst a cover up for the expliotative use of taxpayers money and worst most people of the West in my opinion do not want people killed and maimed with there contribution and do not subscribe to the murder of the often innocent.
Don, try this one. “Somersaults may save us.”
.
Dee, it was good of you to interview Mal Fraser, but now why don’t you interview the insufferable Amy Goodman to see how she followed up (not) on the amazing Wesley Clark revelations.
I have met some controlled opposition in my day, but really.

Why won’t this story die?
There are NO movements by the United States to attack Iran at this time.
We want to reiterate that because too many people see a good opportunity for clickbait and keep promoting this story just to get views.

Article starting to make rounds that some Australia govt figures say United States may strike Iran next month.
Article is clickbait.
As reported, “Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said this morning he had no reason to believe the US was preparing for a military confrontation.”

“The Sydney Morning Herald #smh is notorious for click bait headlines.
Left leaning and struggling. Was taken over yesterday by a TV company.”
So, the good old SMH is pumping out Fake News again. What would we expect from a Bankster-controlled rag like SMH.
Pathetic. Embarrassing. Dangerous.
