Everybody’s writing about Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. “A SUPREME CLASH” was the front-page headline of USA TODAY on Friday September 28, 2018, and comments about his sex history went on for eight pages.
It’s terrible that such a small topic can get so much ink, while other extremely important topics get no ink at all — starvation of Yemen, for example. It is also terrible that the media has such control – all the time, on all subjects – so that the public actually thinks that what they hear on “the news” is THE news.
Sex and the Presidency
President John F Kennedy, as all the world knows, was addicted to sex. He had to have it on demand. One White House staff member said she was surprised to see JFK go upstairs with a beautiful woman and come down the stairs with a different one.
Probably JFK was wired that way, as was his father. But it’s also a trait that gets into gear when a particular male becomes the alpha, that is, when he realizes he is at the top in his local society.
In at least one mammal species, the fur seal, an alpha apparently becomes the sole mounter of the season, pardon my French. All the other males somehow know enough to hang back. The result is that all births that year are from the same sire. Father’s Day must be quite the celebration at his house.
As regards Donald Trump’s grabbing pussy or Brett Kavanaugh at age 17 acting like a male mammal on his way up the hierarchy, my opinion is: I don’t care. It’s all I can do to find out what a prez does in Cabinet meetings, never mind the bedroom.
Also, sex is inherently intimate, private, even sacred. Please turn off the TV. They are spoiling sex for all of us which is probably what they intend anyway.
The Senate’s Barrage against Anita Hill
In 1991, Clarence Thomas was nominated for the Supreme Court by President Bill Clinton. A former co-worker, Anita Hill opposed his nomination. In response, Clarence Thomas said to the Senate committee:
“Senator, I would like to start by saying unequivocally and uncategorically [sic] I deny each and every single allegations today that suggested in anyway that I had conversations of a sexual nature or about pornographic material with Anita Hill, that I never attempted to date her [sic], that I ever had any personal sexual interests in her or did I any way [sic] ever harass her.”
Please see the incredible grilling Anita Hill got from the senate. Among the grillers were the massive traitor Arlen Spector and Patrick Leahy, who has been Vermont’s senator for 43 years, and about whom Brice Taylor has told some incredible tales.
The Perjury of Clarence Thomas
The public should now call for the removal of Justice Clarence Thomas from SCOTUS. Article III of the US Constitution says “The judges… shall hold their Office during good Behavior.” This undoubtedly means that a judge must not misbehave while on the bench. Clarence Thomas perjured himself at his confirmation hearings, not while he was on the bench.
However, perjury is a crime. Technically we can’t call for him to be prosecuted, as the statute of limitations has passed. We need legislation that would remove such limitations both for civil suits and prosecutions where the defendant is a government officer — as he or she has so many ways to prevent court action against him or her. Plus, in the case of a high court judge, he or she has everyone’s natural deference standing in the way.
Anita Hill, Racism, and the FBI
The Thomas-Hill matter was not considered to be racial as both persons are African American. Still, there is a big race matter here. Namely, for a long time after her testimony, when the case was closed, the FBI harassed Ms Hill — and her parents.
I can only deduce that they did that to make sure Anita’s obvious honesty would not rise up and hurt the Powers That Be, who, for whatever reason, wanted Clarence on the bench. She, on her own, might have braved it, but think about this: if you knew that taking action would cause hardship to your elderly Mom and Dad, would you proceed?
I say no. So, I think the FBI succeeded in its task. Anita Hill became a professor at Brandeis University but did not made a career of knocking Thomas off the bench.
So where’s the racism? Oh, just the usual. The “Federal Bureau of Investigation” has long had, as one of its missions, to keep Blacks out of politics. They do it by whatever means they can think of, including murder.
Everybody knows that.
The Ruining of the Republic
I go postal over the way the media plays up the fight between the two political parties. For starters, they always print a Congressman’s credentials like this: Joe Bloggs (D-FL) or Susie Smith (R-NY).
In reality, in the flesh, Mr Bloggs indeed represents Florida (just one district of it, though) and Ms Smith is a Congressional representative from New York. That’s all very constitutional. But Bloggs is not “the Congressional Democrat from Florida”. There is no such thing.
The US Constitution makes no mention of parties. They are private clubs. The balance of numbers in the Legislative Branch, per party has NO SIGNIFICANCE.
Ah, I hear you say but it is significant – it determines whether a certain bill will be passed.
Wash your mouth out please. The thing that determines the passage of a bill is the vote of a majority of legislators: 218 of the House‘s 435 members and 51 of the Senate’s 100 members. Good old majority rule, which is the basis of democracy.
The UK and Australia both have the Westminster system. This spoils the idea of an elected person representing his district, his people. Folks in the UK usually send either a Conservative or a Labour person to the House. Pretend you are a Conservative citizen but the majority of people in your district voted for the Labour candidate. Have you thus lost your chance to influence the decision of your MP? Yes, I think so. She is supposed to vote “at her party’s call.”
Isn’t that dreadful? You may say “No it’s not dreadful, the Party won fair and square.” I do not agree. That candidate won fair and square. And when she’s in the House of Commons she should cast every vote as a conscience vote.
As I said, the media has converted most Americans to the idea that the two parties are the only two players in Congress. You’d think the print in the parchment has evaporated or something.
If the mainstream media were to tell you that two plus two equals five, and drummed it in constantly, you would start thinking “Two plus two equals five. Sure.” That is the way the human brain works. We can all be converted by speech.
Enter, the Outside Controllers
But my fury over the Westminster-ization of America’s government is based on yet another factor. I read many years ago, in the important book, Conspirator’s Hierarchy, the Committee of 300, by John Coleman, that Lloyd Cutler had been tasked with changing the US system. I have trouble getting anyone interested in this topic, as it’s not sexy at all, but please follow along:
Here is a quote from Coleman’s 1992 book:
“Led by the secret societies in America, destruction of republican forms of government has proceeded apace since the close of WW II…. This is a goal which was set over a century ago by the Committee of 300. The United States has led the attacks on [foreign] governments… even as the United States republican base is being steadily undermined.
“Starting with [President] Carter’s legal counsel, Lloyd Cutler, a committee of constitutional lawyers has been working to change the U.S. Congress into a non-representative parliamentary system. Work has been in progress since 1979 on the blueprint for such a change, and because of his devotion to the cause, Cutler was made a member of the Committee of 300.” [Emphasis added]
Since that time, no Constitutional amendments ensued — that would have been too obvious – but as I argue, the media has done the job. No wonder people think they have no say. It’s all a magic numbers game. “What Pelosi wants, Pelosi gets” type thing.
To Brett or Not To Brett
So, should Brett Kavanaugh be voted onto the US Supreme Court? Hell no. Has this to do with his high school drinking? No. It has to do with the fact that the unpatriotic members of the confirmation committee should have announced that all votes should be cast on the merits. None of this Party affiliation nonsense. And they should have yelled:
“The person who nominated Brett — President Trump — refuses to cough up the records from when Brett worked in the Bush White House and therefore we senators won’t play ball. It would be irresponsible for us to act on the Executive’s promise that the records are OK. Inspecting those records is precisely what we get paid to do.”
Furthermore, there’s nothing to prevent Chief Justice John Roberts from speaking up, even now. He could say:
“Please halt this nomination. The subject matter is what a man did 37 years ago and that is not a basis on which to judge a candidate for any bench. If the confirmation process turns into a circus it will bring down the reputation of the US and the Court. Mr President, please go down the list of worthy persons, apologize to Brett Kavanaugh for the unfortunate turn of events, and come up with another name.”
(By the way, Chief Justice John Roberts – who worked in the Senior Bush White House during the Iran Contra affair was never quizzed about it. His confirmation hearing took place during the week in that Hurricane Katrina was capturing all the newspaper attention, in September 2005.)
Finally, belated upfront disclosure: I am a staunch Republican. Moreover, I think all Seppos should be Repubs as it is the Constitution-rescue party and when we lose the Constitution it’s going to be lacrima rerum all over the place.
Unfortunately, I’ve just read Senator Lindsey Graham’s party-unity quip. He said “If we abandon Kavanaugh, we should be abandoned by the Republican party.”
No, no, no, no, no.

When the PTB try that hard to derail a Supreme Court nominee – that should send up a big red flag for anybody that is alert.
They’ve got nothing on him – he’s so squeaky clean it freaks them out, how can they control him? So they make up all sorts of rubbish to tarnish his reputation – and the ‘mob mentality’ that the Protocols refer to come into effect.
I agree with Terry. You have to look at the results to find what they’re doing.
In 1998 the Monica Lewinski publicity made us Americans lose two extremely valuable things: idealism about the Republic, and standards of social manners. In regard to the latter, once the subject of blow-jobs became fit for the front page of the major newspapers, there was nowhere to stand. The whole atmosphere of discretion had collapsed. Surely this was the intention.
I think Monica and Bill did not do anything. Nothing was needed to be done. The media simply had to say it was done.
Almost from nowhere came a horde of newsreaders and anchor persons who could mouth, in the same tone, any “talking points” they are assigned. It is my guess that every one of them, then and now, is mind-controlled.
There is only one, albeit very slim, cause for joy here. It is that TPTB apparently recognize that manners do hold social relations together. So, if they know what to attack, we should know what to ty to uphold.
Counting on any Democrat swing vote? This is from vox.com re Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia:
Manchin is another Democrat who crossed party lines in the Gorsuch vote. He’s known for his independent streak and previously quipped that he is not susceptible to being whipped by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in order to vote a certain way. “I’ll be 71 years old in August, you’re going to whip me? Kiss my you know what,”
OFF TOPIC — MONSANTO. Hope for Sydney’s Hyde Park, Ned?
Thanks to Mark for sending us this item from Dr Mercola’s website:
August 10, 2018, a jury ruled in favor of plaintiff Dewayne Johnson in a truly historic case against Monsanto. Johnson claimed Roundup caused his Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Monsanto has been ordered to pay $289 million in damages
According to the ruling, Monsanto “acted with malice or oppression” and was responsible for “negligent failure” by not warning consumers about the carcinogenicity of this pernicious weed killer
Internal documents obtained during the discovery process reveal the EPA colluded with Monsanto to protect the company’s interests – actually manipulating and preventing key investigations into glyphosate’s cancer-causing potential
Evidence showed Monsanto buried an internal report showing glyphosate genotoxic and then ghostwrote another report claiming glyphosate is completely safe. This fabricated “evidence” allowed them to sidestep toxicity concerns for the next 15 years.
[MM says: get the EPA.]
Yippee, yippee, yippee! News for the Family Court crowd!
Last night i took the redline to Harvard which meant getting a copy of “Metro” (free newspaper).
Of course it had the de rigueur article on Brett Kavanaugh. It mentioned a girl named Stormy Daniels. The article is about “a new witness against Brett” who says she attended many parties at which girls were gang-raped.
PAUSE — WHY WOULD YOU GO BACK FOR MORE OF THOSE PARTIES? —
Anyway, this witness, Swetnick, is represented by lawyer Michael Aventi “who is also representing Stormy in a civil action against Trump.”
Wait till you hear what the lawsuit is about. I quote Metro: “a lawsuit against Trump TO VOID A NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT under which the president’s former lawyer paid her $130,000 not to discuss her alleged relationship with Trump more than a decade ago.”
Holy cow! I never heard of a civil action to VOID A NONDISCLOSURE AGREEMENT {which I realize is not quite the same as a Family Court gag order). This is great for “the neck case”, and for “Darlene,” and thousands of others. (See last week’s Gumshoe family-court stuff by Mary and by Dee.)
Gee, it pays to work at Gumshoe!! (And believe me I don’t mean it “pays” to work at Gumshoe….)
Mums — get thee hence to a courthouse! Didn’t I tell you? The law thinks of everything.
Great thinking Mary. But the gag Order Section 121 of the Family Law Act is not an agreement? It’s written into Legislation rather than an agreement, how does this differ? Oh wouldn’t we just love to make a few little films about Darlene & the neck case……how horrified & outraged would the public be!
To do this with actors & not disclose the identies of those involved, just to create enough outrage would be ideal if the public knew that they were real stories. Perhaps we could really do these family court Judges heads in by playing in each of our friend’s movies (since we’re familiar with each other’s cases) but not our own? Dee…….time to wipe the lens!
I think this could be an open… Recreate the testimonies.
Think about this. Would Darlene be allowed to publicize something like this? — “Ms Darlene Smith has filed a civil action against Chief Justice of Australia’s Family Court Pascoe, seeking to void a non-disclosure order that requires her not to reveal that she is party to a proceeding in the Family Court concerning her 9-year-old child who was forcibly taken from her loving care blah blah blah.”
Family Law Act, 1975, section 121:
“A person who publishes in a newspaper …, or otherwise disseminates to the public or to a section of the public by any means, any account of any proceedings… under this Act that identifies:
• a party to the proceedings;
• a person who is … associated with a party to the proceedings, or [is] in any other way concerned in the matter to which the proceedings relate [I’ll bet that means grandparents]
is guilty of an offence punishable, upon conviction, by imprisonment for a period not exceeding one year.”
If she says “Darlene Smith” she is in the clear because that does NOT identify the party to the proceedings. But could she give her real name? Michael Aventi seems to have given the real name of Stormy Daniels. Indeed he seems to have given the whole game away in describing the nature of the suit.
(I presume Stormy will have to return the 130K with interest if she wins.)
My response to the article; Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas’s Perjury, And Lloyd Cutler’s Alleged Assignment: Ruin the Republic.
In my opinion, Kavanaugh is needed on the Supreme Court because he knows where the Clinton bodies are buried and is familiar with President Trump’s agenda in turning Guantanamo Bay Prison into the scene for the upcoming military tribunals so necessary in order to clean out that swamp. That the Deep State has put its own swamp creatures in place during the Obama travesty in nearly all the District and Local courts within the United States, should come as no surprise to anyone, And that the judges appointed in those courts will use every legal trick in the book to thwart any kind of justice being sought against those swamp creatures listed in the over 50,000 sealed indictments ready to be rolled out, should also come as no surprise.
In other words, the Deep State has its operatives covered against anything that the Trump Admin would wish to do to them, legallly of course, which is what Trump is bound to uphold while the Deep State operatives work outside of, and believe themselves above the reaches of the law. Any swamp critters who may end up in the Deep State run courts can expect to have their cases delayed for years – legally of course.
Hence the reason for military tribunals that will bring swift justice to those who deserve it.
Check out this line of questioning from Senator Lindsay Graham to Brett Kavanaugh regarding military tribunals:

Too, and in my opinion, the American Republic has been under constant attack ever since the Declaration of Independence was broadcast and the Constitutional Republic came into being. I won’t go into those details, but the interested among us could start to appreciate, that from the get go, a Central Banking system (Rothschild) was adopted, and anyone who knows how a nation’s economics become controlled by Central Banks (think Federal Reserve or in our case, The Reserve Bank) will appreciate that Central Banks need to be done away with – Andrew Jackson had the right idea when he became President – maybe that is why Trump has his portrait hanging in the Oval Office?
But why would a newly declared American Republic become so ‘victimized’ by the ‘moneyed interests’ of Great Britain and Europe to the extent that they sent their troops to counter the American revolutionaries after refusing to consider the then American colonies justified claims against the British and European wrongdoings?
It was the document (Constitution) written within that declaration. A document that anyone who has read it and can understand the profound implications for humanity that is written within it, will soon understand why the ‘moneyed interests’ in Great Britain and Europe wanted it gone and the American colonies taken back.
We should be asking ourselves – as we are still being controlled by the moneyed interests – so what has changed since that time?
A Note to those who would like to learn a little more as to how the United States became influenced by outside forces hostile to inalienable human rights and the law of the land. Read G.Edwin Griffith’s? The Creature from Jekyll Island, to understand how the formation of the Federal Reserve came about.
And to those who are game enough to venture into knowing about who really controls this world and are prepared to swallow the Red Pill and to stop taking that Blue Pill we been constantly taking, and some are still taking. Go to this site: HeresYourRedPill.com – but be warned, once you enter there is no turning back to that Blue Pill.
Oh crikey Nemesis, another site to look at? I took the Red Pill long ago but it’s exhausting to convince others to do the same. But we cannot stop! My namesake (Eyeswideopen) shows it have not yet given up. I’m like a sponge but talking to others about my passions of exposing Family Court & also Medicinal Cannabis will continue! Now off to view that site!
Eyes, the hour grows late. What could another website tell you that would advance the cause one millimeter? Still, if you find out please come back and tell us.
As for your request for a fiction play, myself and Dee are not very available. But there are repertory companies in Adelaide who may do it. Try Flinders School of Drama? Or just do it garage-band style. Every bit helps.
Uni of Adelaide Law Students put on a Law Revue every year (comedy). They did their 2018 Revue in September but maybe their (amazing) energy could carry over “for a cause” after Nov. exams.
It’s mean of us not to try to involve them, as Family Law will soon be their career woe. You can hang a sign in the foyer of the Ligertrwood Bldg. Please mention GumshoeNews.com
Thank you! And good for you, and don’t give up!
Nemesis….How refreshing to find another Aussie who is following Trump & his loyal followers draining the swamp (via QAnon drops, X22(b) Reports & PrayingMedic analyses)…..I took that red pill after 911 & have been awake to the Deep State ever since. Now eagerly awaiting the confirmation of Kavanagh which may even coincide with Trump’s FEMA emergency broadcast test on October 3 & then Red October!
And how refreshing to have another Aussie who is like minded. Thank you! Have you looked at the SGT Report? Always some goodies there from Sean.
We’re into Red October and the increased madness being exposed from those who are opposed to the rule of law : When those the Gods wish to destroy, they first make mad.
“in the over 50,000 sealed indictments ready to be rolled out, should also come as no surprise”
Nemesis, what? where? how do you know? and how can there be military tribunals under the Constitution and the Uniform Code of Military Justice for non-soldiers?
I would like to think that Trump is “the man” but having heard his balmy press conference last week — the one with flag wallpaper — I see no sign of it.
Mary you really must do some more research on Trump & the 51,000+ sealed indictments & the military tribunals of citizens which are about to take place….
And please investigate the ‘death’ of Senator John McCain recently (or as he is known by patriots as ‘No Name’)….Btw Guantanamo Bay has undergone a recent refurbishment & is awaiting the arrival of occupants as a result of upcoming trials when the FISA docs are released unredacted. We may even see a couple of Australians named in those docs!
Mary, take the Red Pill.
Nemesis, at Military.com (which is not official site or it would be Military.mil), we find:
January 2018: President Donald Trump signed an executive order Tuesday to keep the detention facility at the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, naval base open to take in more prisoners captured abroad, if Congress approves.
Trump said he directed Defense Secretary to carry out the new policy on “Gitmo” just before he delivered his State of the Union address
“I am also asking the Congress to ensure that, in the fight against ISIS and al-Qaida, we continue to have all necessary power to detain terrorists — wherever we chase them down,”
he said. “Terrorists who do things like place bombs in civilian hospitals are evil. When possible, we annihilate them. When necessary, we must be able to detain and question them,” Trump said.
“Terrorists are not merely criminals. They are unlawful enemy combatants. And when captured overseas, they should be treated like the terrorists they are,” he said.
Nemesis, I can’t put your interpretation on this. except maybe:
“we continue to have all necessary power to detain terrorists — wherever we chase them down,” but really it’s a stretch. Note if he said “traitor” instead of “terrorist” I might feel moved.
And just for fun I reiterate that it is a felony in the US to fail to report treason. The name of this felony is misprision, rhymes with vision.
Not just treason but any felony:
18 USC 4: “Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”
So if Kavanaugh knows where the bodies are buried, and hasn’t reported it, he is guilty of misprision? Does Trump know of crimes? Such as the FBI’s murder of Tamerlan Tsarnaev? I am definitely not in favor of attacking a sitting president; there is plenty of low-hanging fruit we can go for.
Drat, but it requires a “DPP” sort of beastie. Or — and here we salute Saint Bill Windsor — a grand jury. a citizen-led grand jury.
Folks: ya gotta be in it to win it.
I have given a heads up in reference to taking that Red Pill and finding our for yourself what I have made myself aware of.
Do you honestly believe that Trump would give the game away about Gitmo to his enemies – especially the Clintons?
…..against all enemies, foreign and domestic’. Does that ring a bell?
The United States is very close to all out civil war and advertizing what will become of those who are already sweating bullets but still have many on their side from within and without the Deep State, and who are only too willing to start killing those they believe are holding back their communist revolution to usher in their New World Order.
The Clintons have had murdered hundreds of people who thought the way you do – do you truly believe that Kavanaugh would place his family and himself in harms way unless he had, not only the Law on his side, but the might of the current administration which is being protected by the United States Marines?
The choice is yours Mary to find out what I already know.
Okee dokee, Nemesis:
5 USC 3331
An individual, except the President, elected or appointed to an office of honor or profit in the civil service or uniformed services, shall take the following oath: “I, AB, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”
I be waitin’
Well, you shouldn’t have long to wait now. Red tsunami in November and the return of the rule of law.
Hear hear Nemesis! And let’s not forget Red October!
lol, stop taking pills, left right, north south. red blue.
How long does Trump have to execute these “indictments”.
Ohhh, there is 20,000 and you only get two terms as Potus.
Potus Scotus, Hocus Pocus.
Sorry, frustrating day.
simon – negativity is easy – it is the TRUTH that many find difficult to come to terms with. And it is not 20,000 sealed indictments but now up to 57,000 and almost ready to roll!
Take the RedPill mate – you’ll be glad you did.
Hope or reason?
I hope you are right Nemesis but I’m afraid hope is being overwhelmed by reason.
Having watched what DT says versus what he does (eg strikes on and continued military occupation of Syria on false (chemical weapons) pretexts), who he has surrounded himself with and having watched Trump’s UN Speeches (General Assembly Security Council) and seeing official White House statements like this

As a footnote, has anyone noticed how the ‘humanitarian’ “killing his own people” line (eg Libya and Syria) is now being replaced by the ‘climatic’ “plundering the nation’s resources” line as a pretext for regime change?
It is what it is. Here’s hoping.
Julius, I could put up any number of anti-Trump videos to match yours – but what does that prove about Trump except that there are some who simply will not see what is obvious before them. I did note one important point that eludes Jake Morphonios in his denouncement of Trump – he provides no provable examples of what he puts out.
Negativity reigns where Truth is ignored.
Take the Red Pill mate, your eyes will see things that you appear to be not aware of – I guarantee it!
So paedophilia’s evil but other forms of sexual misconduct are inconsequential ?
But I do agree that witch-hunts are part of the same problem
My talk about Brett was but a cheap excuse to beat my drums about Lloyd Cutler and the Committee of 300.
In living memory, namely my memory, we did not have the expectation that Congress was a sham.. But now we do.
Call me a dinosaur but I can’t accept “the new way.” Dee lets me dribble on like this. I suspect it’s because she is so busy she needs “filler.”
The Brit monarchy was saved by presenting Queen Vic as a model of propriety.Theses days its widely acknowledged that she she was just as messed up as her predecessors.
By all accounts the entire Kennedy family was dysfunctional. Just about all politically powerful individuals struggle with some sort personal insecurity, you only have to look at Hollywood. Sex addiction and related perversions are a mere symptom
I have my own opinions on why there seems to be a cognitive disconnection between the haves and the have not’s, or in a more modern perspective, the celebs and the non-celebs, of this world. Admittedly, such aloofness is not always apparent, and there have been other famous people who have not shared in such a disconnection with their society, but have gone onto advance its betterment.
BTW, I would not place the Royals in such a grand stead as those who have gone out of their way to better Mankind, and going on what is currently befalling Britain and the U.K., would place them at the center of such an abhorrent occurrence.
My question to you is: What do you believe drives those who live without any consideration whatsoever for their fellow Man while they enjoy the absolute luxury of what life in this world can afford them?
Wow there is a 39-second clip of Rachel.
.
I`ll leave it to the learned ones, but my sympathy lies with Mr. Kavanaugh.
gaz…Kavanaugh will be confirmed this month as SCOTUS!
Correct! And according to ‘Q’.
Chalmers Johnson – Sorrows of Empire
Sharing because it is interesting …
“USA Today” … reminded me of a quote I remember hearing by Chalmers Johnson.
“I no longer read the New York Times [USA Today] for the news – I read it for the lies”
When I went looking for the link I came across this paper/speech by him which summarises the main points of his book “Sorrows of Empire: Imperialism, Militarism and the END OF THE REPUBLIC”
https://www2.gwu.edu/~sigur/assets/docs/scap/SCAP19-Johnson.pdf
Johnson describes in detail (as of 2004) the extent of the military occupation by the US around the world (the US’s “Baseworld”) and goes on to draw the parallels with the last days of the Roman Empire.
Quoting:
“Four sorrows, it seems to me, are certain to be visited on the United States. Their cumulative effect guarantees that the U.S. will cease to resemble the country outlined in the Constitution of I787.
First, there will be a state of perpetual war, leading to more terrorism against Americans wherever they may be and a spreading reliance on nuclear weapons among smaller nations as they try toward off the imperial juggernaut.
Second is a loss of democracy and Constitutional rights as the presidency eclipses Congress and is itself transformed from a co-equal “executive branch” of government into a military junta.
Third is the replacement of truth by propaganda, disinformation, and the glorification of war, power, and the military legions.
Lastly, there is bankruptcy as the United States pours its economic resources into ever more grandiose military projects and short changes the education, health, and safety of its citizens.”
Just as I was writing this, up pops this article by Tom Winter (as he indicates, based on Goethe’s novel “The Sorrows of Young Werther”)
https://www.fort-russ.com/2018/09/the-sorrows-of-the-young-american/
Since the subtitle of this thread states “Ruin the Republic”, it is quite appropriate at this time to introduce General Konstantin Pavlovich Petrov.

Lol my first dog in the 50s was named ‘Petrov’….
The Petrov Affair influenced the dog’s name?
Haha yes it did Nemesis! All my dogs since the 50s have had International leaders’ names!
Regarding Coleman and his book on conspiracy, I could not find any information on him, he is a unknown not knowing where he lived nor any talks on the media or any talks by him, altogether other than the book he seems a non entity?
The book is so outside anyones experience that it would seem establishment may have written the book to confound a already perplexed public, of a reality that few have any idea as to what reality is.
hotartglass39….Try reading ‘Behold a Pale Horse’ by Milton William (Bill) Cooper who was well before his time in knowing what was coming (& also happening at the same time). Sadly he was subsequently murdered by the ‘authorities’, shot dead on his own property. Bill Cooper was a former United States Naval Intelligence Briefing Team member & also had a weekly radio broadcast.
Re: Your link in the above article to the Clarence Thomas hearings. The article linked says Bill Clinton nominated Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court in 1991. Thomas actually was nominated by then President George H. W. Bush.
