CC767 I agree with the notion of “By their fruits…” deeds not words is how to identify people. However which fruits we see depends on the bias/perspective of our own vision.
Hitler et al were obsessed with cataloguing humanity (sound familiar) – using IBM punch card machines to catalogue European Jewry. The nazi regime in 1934 may have been more guilty of lies by omission than straight out falsehood, but then no-one is accusing Goebbels of being a naive propagandist (and no-one, looking at the records, is denying the lies and war crimes by the allies either) . There were clearly work camps operating across Europe, but there were also death camps (though there seems to be room to discuss the scale of these). The fact checkers of their day, the Red Cross, did what fact checkers do now: look at very narrow definitions applied to very narrow contexts and ignore the bigger picture. They reach conclusions that are true in a way that is totally misleading.
The paradise presented in the rhetoric of the camps reminds me of the rhetoric around the Great Reset. There are many millions who would sign up for it – think it sounds fantastic. The girl at the veggie stall in the market was telling me her hopes for a future world, and they are pretty close to the Great Reset plans. But the words of propagandist are there to hide the intent of the regime.

There is no contradiction between a small increase in worldwide Jewish numbers and large scale loss of European Jews. The population of the world has been growing fast. My brief look at world population growth between 1930 and 1950, and using this rate for the 1933 World Jewish population until 1948 suggests a million or more missing Jews.This is looking at worldwide numbers, not focusing on Europe itself, so a disproportionate growth in Jewish population outside Europe, will have seen many more European Jews go, which seems highly likely. Beyond this discussion of the quantitative information, I find it impossible to ignore the myriad personal narratives – as well as the abuse of human rights that is uncontested – people denied citizenship of the country they had been raised in – put in camps as a result – and denied bodily autonomy in the most extreme ways possible.
As with so much of history, I find the ethnic/identity reading of history problematic. If one can look beyond the specific ethnic identities, the resonance between then and now are frightening.

Rigg: When I met with Simon Wiesenthal in 1996 in Vienna, he told me not to document this study saying we Jews have enough problems as it is. The conversation became more relaxed. He asked me about my work. He wanted to know if the stories I told in my books were true, had they really happened. I answered not too convincingly: “In literature, Rebbe, certain things are true though they didn’t happen, while others are not, even if they did.”
I would have loved to have received his blessing.1
Notice that he first says he is writing “literature”2, not faithful accounts of his own experience. Next, we understand that by withholding his blessing, the noted Hasidic rabbi conveyed he was not pleased with the evasive answers of the Hasidic Jew Elie Wiesel. Wiesel himself says his answer to the final question was “not too convincing.” And finally, since Wiesel admits that he writes about things that never happened as being true, we can’t even be sure that this event happened, can we. This is the problem with everything in the life and work of Elie Wiesel.

I’m not dismissing the huge issue of colonisation – much of the current situation seems karmic for both historic and contemporary behaviours. But that is another discussion.
Some 25 years ago the office I was working in started to have a substantial proportion of people from Eastern Europe working in it. One thing that connected them was an endless belittling of the Roma. From my back of the envelope figures one can easily accept 2 million missing Jews, using the numbers you have provided, and the contemporaneous international population growth figures. This is before we start looking at divergent definitions that may add further to these figures. The evidence you present argues for a difference in degree from the official narrative, not a difference in kind.

A small piece of textual analysis sees plenty of problems here. Why does an order have to be given multiple times? Presumably because it is not being followed. The conditions and environment meant that psychologically the inmates had been so fully ‘othered’ that they could be readily abused by their captors. Further there is no contest in any of the presented correspondence that these people were prisoners and being worked as slaves, for no other reason than their religion/ethnicity. And what happened when they could no longer be productive because they had been horrifically abused?
Wiesel’s work is not something I’m familiar with, so I offer no apology for his work. But a few coy remarks by him later in life hardly seems to counter the myriad other source materials available.
The Powerful, sowing discord, by raising ethnic tensions, for the purpose of control, is at least as old as the Romans. So it is here. Ordinary people, trying to live their lives as best they can were turned into victims for the reason of given other people a sense of purpose, which was exploited to enable totalitarianism across vast swathes of Europe.
All capable politicians know you should ‘never let a good crisis go to waste’. The ‘epilogue’, to WWII was highly problematic, and I have no doubt that the events of the holocaust were used for political purpose. But I see nothing substantial presented here that refutes its existence.

6 = The alleged 6 million Jews that were killed by the Nazis.
4 = The approximate number of Jews (4 million) in ALL countries in pre-war Europe that eventually came under German occupation.*
(* YES, there were far more than 4 million Jews in Europe in 1933 but by 1939, and even as late as 1941, many were assisted by the Nazis to migrate or had already migrated).
Of the remainder, many were in countries that were NEVER under German occupation as they were neutrals.
eg: Sweden, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Britain, Switzerland, most of the Soviet Union (more than 80% of the Soviet land mass was never occupied) etc.
Bulgaria for example, an ally of Germany during WWII, did not deport the overwhelming bulk of its Jewish citizens to these work camps :
Basically, the King of Bulgaria, who was a personal friend of Hitler, said he did not wish to deport any of them and Hitler was OK with that – no further pressure was applied, no repercussions of any sort.
And, in France, it is a FACT that around 80 % of French Jews, not only were not killed in these alleged death camps but DID NOT EVEN GET DEPORTED FROM FRANCE where they stayed for the entirety of the war and of course survived – as did the bulk of French Jews who were deported to the ‘death camps’ and later returned.
YES, most French deportees also survived the war – the overwhelming majority of those that did not survive died due to typhus and malnutrition in the final months of the war as Allied saturation bombing disrupted food supply logistics and German civilians were also starving.
And, in relation to the last number, the five (5) represents the documented 5 million Jewish survivors of the death camps (hmmm, that meticulously efficient German war machine sure wasn’t very efficient in completing that task) that received war compensation payments from the German government post WWII.
Hence :
4 million Jews (at start of war) – 6 million (alleged killed) = 5 million (those survivors receiving German govt compensation for alleged Holocaust).

I make no claims for numbers as facts, but have tried to make sense of the numbers presented by crisscross as a prima face refutation of the holocaust. In their own terms the figures presented are consisted with a loss of 2 million Jews using the most naive analysis. Soft power at work

Aquinas taught the socialist idea of communal possessions, using the same political buzzwords we are seeing in today’s papal statements. In Summa Theologiae he makes these frightening statements:
The possession of all things in common is the natural law…‘the possession of all things in common and universal freedom’ are said to be of the natural law because, to wit, the distinction of possessions and slavery were not brought in by nature, but devised by human reason for the benefit of human life.
The community of goods is ascribed to the natural law, not that the natural law dictates that all things should be possessed in common and that nothing should be possessed as one’s own, but because the division of possessions is not according to the natural law, but rather arose from human agreement…the ownership of possessions is not contrary to the natural law, but an addition thereto devised by human reason…Hence, whatever certain people have in superabundance is due, by natural law, to the purpose of succorring the poor (emphases added).vi
So, as Rome sees it, property is for common good. You may own it, but it is for common good. Whatever you have that is more than you need will be given to others. Does this mean in practical terms that if you own anything, you will be taxed to death so that the state may collect revenues to support those who have not?
Pius XI tells us this in his 1931 encyclical Quadragesimo Anno:
Under Fascism, property owners may keep their property titles and deeds, but the use of their property is, as Leo XIII wrote, “common”. Fascism is a form of socialism that retains the forms and trappings of capitalism, but not its substance. Under Fascism, property titles and deeds are intact, but the institution of private property has disappeared. Government regulations and mandates have replaced it. For this distinction between legal ownership and actual use, the fascists owe a debt to the Roman Church-State (emphases added).vii
According to Second Vatican Council document Gaudium et Spes, “The complex circumstances of our day make it necessary for public authority to intervene more often in social, economic and cultural matters.”viii
Business has to be integrated into this process because the problems which we face cannot be solved by governments alone. They need public-private partnerships. They need the support of the business community and of civil society (emphasis added).ix
If the combination of big business and big government makes fascism, then fascism is indeed happening today. Rerum Novarum is one of the Roman Church-State’s most influential statements on economic matters, in which it lays down “unerring rules for the right solution of the difficult problem of human solidarity.”vi
So what does Populorum Progressio have to say that is so pivotal for our day?
…each man has therefore the right to find in the world what is necessary for himself. The recent [Vatican II] Council reminded us of this: “God intended the earth and all that it contains for the use of every human being and people. Thus, as all men follow justice and unite in charity, created goods should abound for them on a reasonable basis.” All other rights whatsoever, including those of property and of free commerce, are to be subordinated to this principle (emphasis added).vii
So what does Populorum Progressio have to say that is so pivotal for our day?

Today’s “unerring rules” for humanity are that every person should abound with manufactured goods, even at the expense of all other rights?
Here is a statement from Vatican II Council document Gaudium et Spes:
if one is in extreme necessity he has the right to procure for himself what he needs out of the riches of others…Therefore, because private property is immoral, all men—individuals and governments—have the moral obligation to redistribute goods held unjustly by property owners (emphasis added).viii
In this Vatican statement, stealing is clearly endorsed. And we are told by Pope Benedict that this document and its principles codified at Vatican II are to be considered today’s definitive statement on social doctrine.
Pope John Paul II echoed this statement in 1981 and again in 1987:
[all men must have] access to those goods which are intended for common use: both the goods of nature and manufactured goods.ix
…the goods of this world are originally meant for all. The right to private property is valid and necessary, but it does not nullify the value of this principle. Private property, in fact, is under a ‘social mortgage’, which means that it has an intrinsically social function, based upon and justified precisely by the principle of the universal destination of goods.x
Redistribution of wealth is clearly being espoused here. But it gets worse. Covetousness and stealing are also a daily part of this Papacy-inspired lifestyle.
Theft, Needs, and Private Property
Because the goods of some are due to others according to Catholic natural law, it is not considered sinful for the poor take the goods of their neighbors. Thomas Aquinas, pivotal 13th-century Catholic philosopher, says this:
In cases of need, all things are common property, so that there would seem to be no sin in taking another’s property, for need has made it common.
Not only is such taking of another’s property not a sin, it is not even a crime, according to Thomas:
…it is lawful for a man to succor his own need by means of another’s property by taking it either openly or secretly; nor is this, properly speaking, theft and robbery…It is not theft, properly speaking, to take secretly and use another’s property in a case of extreme need; because that which he takes for the support of his life becomes his own property by reason of that need…In a case of a like need, a man may also take secretly another’s property in order to succor his neighbour in need.xiii
According to this statement, your neighbor determines whether they need your stuff. And, according to Thomas Aquinas’ article, it is even lawful for you to steal for your neighbor’s need!
Stealing based on need is more than just the musings of a 13th-century mystic. Paul VI made the point quite clear in his 1967 encyclical:
…each man has therefore the right to find in the world what is necessary for himself. The recent Council [Vatican II] reminded us of this: “God intended the earth and all that it contains for the use of every human being and people. Hitler et al were obsessed with cataloguing humanity (sound familiar) – using IBM punch card machines to catalogue European Jewry. The nazi regime in 1934 may have been more guilty of lies by omission than straight out falsehood, but then no-one is accusing Goebbels of being a naive propagandist (and no-one, looking at the records, is denying the lies and war crimes by the allies either) . There were clearly work camps operating across Europe, but there were also death camps (though there seems to be room to discuss the scale of these). The fact checkers of their day, the Red Cross, did what fact checkers do now: look at very narrow definitions applied to very narrow contexts and ignore the bigger picture. They reach conclusions that are true in a way that is totally misleading.
The paradise presented in the rhetoric of the camps reminds me of the rhetoric around the Great Reset. There are many millions who would sign up for it – think it sounds fantastic. The girl at the veggie stall in the market was telling me her hopes for a future world, and they are pretty close to the Great Reset plans. My brief look at world population growth between 1930 and 1950, and using this rate for the 1933 World Jewish population until 1948 suggests a million or more missing Jews.This is looking at worldwide numbers, not focusing on Europe itself, so a disproportionate growth in Jewish population outside Europe, will have seen many more European Jews go, which seems highly likely. Beyond this discussion of the quantitative information, I find it impossible to ignore the myriad personal narratives – as well as the abuse of human rights that is uncontested – people denied citizenship of the country they had been raised in – put in camps as a result – and denied bodily autonomy in the most extreme ways possible.

The pieces to the puzzle of Elie Wiesel and his book Night will never come together to form a coherent image. Readers and critics have long puzzled over the nightmarishly grotesque events that Wiesel presents as real, and refuses to repudiate. But he has actually given us the explanation all along—it’s just that it’s one so many don’t want to believe.
In his autobiography, Wiesel recounts a time when, visiting Israel, he went to see the “young” Rebbe of Wizhnitz, whose father he remembered with reverence from his childhood. At the end of the visit, which took two pages (273-75) to tell, the Rebbe questioned the young writer without being satisfied with his answers. Then:
The conversation became more relaxed. He asked me about my work. He wanted to know if the stories I told in my books were true, had they really happened. I would have loved to have received his blessing.1
Notice that he first says he is writing “literature”2, not faithful accounts of his own experience. Next, we understand that by withholding his blessing, the noted Hasidic rabbi conveyed he was not pleased with the evasive answers of the Hasidic Jew Elie Wiesel. Wiesel himself says his answer to the final question was “not too convincing.” And finally, since Wiesel admits that he writes about things that never happened as being true, we can’t even be sure that this event happened, can we. I’m not dismissing the huge issue of colonisation – much of the current situation seems karmic for both historic and contemporary behaviours. But that is another discussion.
Some 25 years ago the office I was working in started to have a substantial proportion of people from Eastern Europe working in it. One thing that connected them was an endless belittling of the Roma. A colleague got tired of the situation and created a ‘joke’. “Why do the [insert east European nation here] pick on the Roma? – Because they’ve already got rid of all the Jews” – not funny, but it stopped those conversations, and was never once dismissed as lie.
On the issue of numbers, the numbers you have provided strongly suggest over a million missing Jews. From my back of the envelope figures one can easily accept 2 million missing Jews, using the numbers you have provided, and the contemporaneous international population growth figures. This is before we start looking at divergent definitions that may add further to these figures. The evidence you present argues for a difference in degree from the official narrative, not a difference in kind.

A small piece of textual analysis sees plenty of problems here. Why does an order have to be given multiple times? Presumably because it is not being followed. The conditions and environment meant that psychologically the inmates had been so fully ‘othered’ that they could be readily abused by their captors. Further there is no contest in any of the presented correspondence that these people were prisoners and being worked as slaves, for no other reason than their religion/ethnicity. And what happened when they could no longer be productive because they had been horrifically abused?
Wiesel’s work is not something I’m familiar with, so I offer no apology for his work. But a few coy remarks by him later in life hardly seems to counter the myriad other source materials available.
The Powerful, sowing discord, by raising ethnic tensions, for the purpose of control, is at least as old as the Romans. So it is here. Ordinary people, trying to live their lives as best they can were turned into victims for the reason of given other people a sense of purpose, which was exploited to enable totalitarianism across vast swathes of Europe.
All capable politicians know you should ‘never let a good crisis go to waste’. The ‘epilogue’, to WWII was highly problematic, and I have no doubt that the events of the holocaust were used for political purpose. But I see nothing substantial presented here that refutes its existence.

(* YES, there were far more than 4 million Jews in Europe in 1933 but by 1939, and even as late as 1941, many were assisted by the Nazis to migrate or had already migrated).
Of the remainder, many were in countries that were NEVER under German occupation as they were neutrals.
eg: Sweden, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Britain, Switzerland, most of the Soviet Union (more than 80% of the Soviet land mass was never occupied) etc.
Bulgaria for example, an ally of Germany during WWII, did not deport the overwhelming bulk of its Jewish citizens to these work camps :

Basically, the King of Bulgaria, who was a personal friend of Hitler, said he did not wish to deport any of them and Hitler was OK with that – no further pressure was applied, no repercussions of any sort.
And, in France, it is a FACT that around 80 % of French Jews, not only were not killed in these alleged death camps but DID NOT EVEN GET DEPORTED FROM FRANCE where they stayed for the entirety of the war and of course survived – as did the bulk of French Jews who were deported to the ‘death camps’ and later returned.
YES, most French deportees also survived the war – the overwhelming majority of those that did not survive died due to typhus and malnutrition in the final months of the war as Allied saturation bombing disrupted food supply logistics and German civilians were also starving.
And, in relation to the last number, the five (5) represents the documented 5 million Jewish survivors of the death camps (hmmm, that meticulously efficient German war machine sure wasn’t very efficient in completing that task) that received war compensation payments from the German government post WWII.
Hence :
4 million Jews (at start of war) – 6 million (alleged killed) = 5 million (those survivors receiving German govt compensation for alleged Holocaust).

I make no claims for numbers as facts, but have tried to make sense of the numbers presented by crisscross as a prima face refutation of the holocaust. In their own terms the figures presented are consisted with a loss of 2 million Jews using the most naive analysis. So it’s no secret, all across the Global South, that under the cover of a benign umbrella promoting democracy and human rights, the NED works as a soft-power mechanism actively interfering in politics and society. Recent examples include Ukraine, Venezuela and Nicaragua. In many cases, that is conducive to regime change.
The NED’s board of directors includes Elliott Abrams, who was instrumental in financing and weaponizing the Contras in Nicaragua, and Victoria Nuland, who supervised the financing and weaponizing of militias in Ukraine that some but not all experts have described as neo-fascist.
The NED offers grants via various branches. One of them is the National Democratic Institute, which has been active in Hong Kong since the 1997 handover. These are some of the grants offered by the NED in Hong Kong in 2018.
At least one Hong Kong-based publication took the trouble of studying the NED’s local connections, even publishing a chart of the anti-extradition protest organizational structure. But none of the evidence is conclusive. The most the publication could say was, “If we analyze the historical involvement of NED in Occupy Central and the sequence of events that took place from March in 2019, it is highly possible that the Americans may be potentially involved in the current civil unrest via NED – albeit not conclusive.”
Issue III of the petition sent to the UN deals with “coordinated, directed and covertly commanded on-ground operations; connived with favorable and compatible local and American media so as to present biased new coverage.”
On “coordination,” the main political operative is identified as Julie Eadeh, based at the US Consulate after a previous Middle East stint. Eadeh became a viral sensation in China when she was caught on camera, on the same day, meeting with Anson Chan and Martin Lee, close allies of Jimmy Lai, founder of pro-protest Apple Daily, and protest leaders Joshua Wong and Nathan Law in the lobby of the Marriott.
The US State Department responded by calling the Chinese government “thuggish” for releasing photographs and personal information about Eadeh.

One issue that is very damaging to idea of a Pope is the fact that some of the popes were so depraved, even people who professed no religion at all were ashamed of them. Looking into the history of the papacy, it is easy to see that not all popes were holy men. No, it would be hypocritical for them to make rulings and decrees, and yet this is exactly what has been done by the popes. Jesus never said, “do as I say, not as I do”. On the contrary, Jesus Christ led a holy life and we should follow His example. Here are a few examples:
Pope Sergius III obtained the papal office by murder. He lived openly with a woman who bore him several illegitimate children. His reign began a period known as “the rule of the harlots”.
Pope John XII was an immoral man and whose palace was likened to a brothel. The bishop of Cremona, Luitprand said, “No honest lady dared to show herself in public, for Pope John had no respect either for single girls, married women, or widows – they were sure to be defiled by him, even on the tombs of the holy apostles, Peter and Paul.”

November 24, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – In a rant by Pope Francis where he lets down his guard and allows his leftist colors to show more than in the past, the Pope said of anti-lockdown protestors, “you’ll never find such people protesting the death of George Floyd, or joining a demonstration because there are shantytowns where children lack water or education, or because there are whole families who have lost their income.”
In it, the pope lashes out at anti-lockdown protestors, saying, “those who claim, for example, that being forced to wear a mask is an unwarranted imposition by the state.” He calls them, “victims only in their own imagination.”
This Jesuit pope is part of this World of Disorder and has no idea about real science and is supporting and defending pseudo science for the corporate vaccine cabal in their silent war against humanity. His ‘pronouncements’ expose his position as a Fascist which is in harmony of the cult Latin Roman Catholic-Church-State.
The Pope is a traitor to humanity and we do not want popery ever again, yet it is rising once again.

The Economic Thought of the Roman Catholic Church
Fascism appeals to the Roman Catholic Church because it is the perfect vehicle through which to gain global control.
Popular 20th-century journalist Pierre van Paassen wrote this about Catholicism’s nature:
For today Rome considers the Fascist regime the nearest to its dogmas and interest. We have not merely the Reverend (Jesuit) Father Coughlin praising Mussolini’s Italy as “a Christian Democracy,” but Civilita Cattolica, house organ of the Jesuits, says quite frankly “Fascism is the regime that corresponds most closely to the concepts of the Church of Rome.”iv
Aquinas taught the socialist idea of communal possessions, using the same political buzzwords we are seeing in today’s papal statements. In Summa Theologiae he makes these frightening statements:
The possession of all things in common is the natural law…‘the possession of all things in common and universal freedom’ are said to be of the natural law because, to wit, the distinction of possessions and slavery were not brought in by nature, but devised by human reason for the benefit of human life.
The community of goods is ascribed to the natural law, not that the natural law dictates that all things should be possessed in common and that nothing should be possessed as one’s own, but because the division of possessions is not according to the natural law, but rather arose from human agreement…the ownership of possessions is not contrary to the natural law, but an addition thereto devised by human reason…Hence, whatever certain people have in superabundance is due, by natural law, to the purpose of succorring the poor (emphases added).vi
So, as Rome sees it, property is for common good. You may own it, but it is for common good. Whatever you have that is more than you need will be given to others. Does this mean in practical terms that if you own anything, you will be taxed to death so that the state may collect revenues to support those who have not?
Pius XI tells us this in his 1931 encyclical Quadragesimo Anno:
Under Fascism, property owners may keep their property titles and deeds, but the use of their property is, as Leo XIII wrote, “common”. Fascism is a form of socialism that retains the forms and trappings of capitalism, but not its substance. Under Fascism, property titles and deeds are intact, but the institution of private property has disappeared. Government regulations and mandates have replaced it. For this distinction between legal ownership and actual use, the fascists owe a debt to the Roman Church-State (emphases added).vii
According to Second Vatican Council document Gaudium et Spes, “The complex circumstances of our day make it necessary for public authority to intervene more often in social, economic and cultural matters.”viii
Business has to be integrated into this process because the problems which we face cannot be solved by governments alone. They need public-private partnerships. They need the support of the business community and of civil society (emphasis added).ix
If the combination of big business and big government makes fascism, then fascism is indeed happening today. Just like the feudal lords in the Middle Ages, today’s big industry is working with the government to suppress the common workers and control their movements. People believe they are free, but they are not. Today’s serfs—the working class—have no option but to make the rich richer.
One key aspect of fascism—the redistribution of wealth—is particularly popular with the Roman Catholic Church, and is being practiced today with alarming frequency.

According to Pope Benedict’s most recent encyclical, Caritas in Veritate, Pope Paul VI’s encyclical Populorum Progressio “deserves to be considered ‘the Rerum Novarum of the present age’”.v
Rerum Novarum is one of the Roman Church-State’s most influential statements on economic matters, in which it lays down “unerring rules for the right solution of the difficult problem of human solidarity.”vi
So what does Populorum Progressio have to say that is so pivotal for our day?
…each man has therefore the right to find in the world what is necessary for himself. The recent [Vatican II] Council reminded us of this: “God intended the earth and all that it contains for the use of every human being and people. Thus, as all men follow justice and unite in charity, created goods should abound for them on a reasonable basis.” All other rights whatsoever, including those of property and of free commerce, are to be subordinated to this principle (emphasis added).vii
So what does Populorum Progressio have to say that is so pivotal for our day?
…each man has therefore the right to find in the world what is necessary for himself. Thus, as all men follow justice and unite in charity, created goods should abound for them on a reasonable basis.” All other rights whatsoever, including those of property and of free commerce, are to be subordinated to this principle (emphasis added).vii
Today’s “unerring rules” for humanity are that every person should abound with manufactured goods, even at the expense of all other rights?
Here is a statement from Vatican II Council document Gaudium et Spes:
if one is in extreme necessity he has the right to procure for himself what he needs out of the riches of others…Therefore, because private property is immoral, all men—individuals and governments—have the moral obligation to redistribute goods held unjustly by property owners (emphasis added).viii
In this Vatican statement, stealing is clearly endorsed. And we are told by Pope Benedict that this document and its principles codified at Vatican II are to be considered today’s definitive statement on social doctrine.
Pope John Paul II echoed this statement in 1981 and again in 1987:
[all men must have] access to those goods which are intended for common use: both the goods of nature and manufactured goods.ix
…the goods of this world are originally meant for all. The right to private property is valid and necessary, but it does not nullify the value of this principle. Private property, in fact, is under a ‘social mortgage’, which means that it has an intrinsically social function, based upon and justified precisely by the principle of the universal destination of goods.x
Redistribution of wealth is clearly being espoused here. But it gets worse. Covetousness and stealing are also a daily part of this Papacy-inspired lifestyle.
Theft, Needs, and Private Property
Because the goods of some are due to others according to Catholic natural law, it is not considered sinful for the poor take the goods of their neighbors. Thomas Aquinas, pivotal 13th-century Catholic philosopher, says this:
In cases of need, all things are common property, so that there would seem to be no sin in taking another’s property, for need has made it common.
Not only is such taking of another’s property not a sin, it is not even a crime, according to Thomas:
…it is lawful for a man to succor his own need by means of another’s property by taking it either openly or secretly; nor is this, properly speaking, theft and robbery…It is not theft, properly speaking, to take secretly and use another’s property in a case of extreme need; because that which he takes for the support of his life becomes his own property by reason of that need…In a case of a like need, a man may also take secretly another’s property in order to succor his neighbour in need.xiii
According to this statement, your neighbor determines whether they need your stuff. And, according to Thomas Aquinas’ article, it is even lawful for you to steal for your neighbor’s need!
Stealing based on need is more than just the musings of a 13th-century mystic. Paul VI made the point quite clear in his 1967 encyclical:
…each man has therefore the right to find in the world what is necessary for himself. The recent Council [Vatican II] reminded us of this: “God intended the earth and all that it contains for the use of every human being and people. Thus, as all men follow justice and unite in charity, created goods should abound for them on a reasonable basis.” All other rights whatsoever, including those of property and of free commerce, are to be subordinated to this principle.xiv
