    Horrible thought: Having noticed bucket loads of passenger flights over the last coupe of weeks, originating in various parts of Asia, but specifically China, is Australia being loaded up with “asymptomatic carriers” to trigger problems with this Corona “thing” for Australia?

    If so, why hasn’t the Australian govt. closed our borders temporarily or at least until we work out if this “thing” is real or a hoax?

    • Phil, from where I sit, I’m asking for evidence to sustain the claim G5 is making. We all know, the U.S. has the biggest hard on for China they’ve ever had for anyone, thus anything they can say to denigrate our biggest export customer will do. Remember, the U.S. is not, today or ever, our friend. They proved that when they destroyed our biggest customer for our grain, Iraq, which today purchases all it’s grain from the U.S. no longer Australia. We need the U.S. like we need another hole in our heads. China, on the other hand is all about trade, if nations are economicly functional they are able to trade with China, that’s gotta be good for everybody. On the other hand, the U.S. has always subjugated nations and ensured two or three tier society, with the majority being poor and uneducated, ensuring they stay in thrall to their puppet masters. IMHO, the sooner the U.S. collapses, the better this World will be, BUT, because Australia has stupidly joined at the hip with the Americans, we too are going to feel the pain.

    I don’t think there’s any getting round the fact that the U.S. ceased to be a paragon of liberty, equality & fraternity when the States that had seceded were violently “recouped”, however, as every State still has a degree of autonomy, and cultural and religious minorities aren’t rounded up and trucked off to re-education camps like they are in China, I’ve no qualms about which one poses the greater threat to Aus.

    But how anyone can believe that Trump is up to countermanding the pale horse and his rider is completely beyond me. I realise that for the most part he’s not pretending to be something that he isn’t which means he’s done a much better job than his predecessors in certain respects, but he also has very obvious shortcomings
