My wife and I, were on a organized tour of the WW1 battlefields and cemeteries, in Belgium and France, during the 90th Commemoration of ANZAC Day during, 2008.
One cemetery we got to visit was a German memorial to the many thousands who lost their lives fighting for what they believed to be true.
The bus that was taking us around all those sites, displayed a large Aussie flag at the rear window, that generally got us lots of acknowledgement from the locals as we were bussed from one site to another, especially around, the French town of Villers- Bretonneux.
While at the German cemetery, and as we were getting ready to leave and go else where, another touristy type bus turned up and parked some distance away from our bus.
