Dear Professor Shine, in the Academy’s recent media release*, you say: “Australians are looking for trustworthy information and answers about COVID-19 and vaccination. With much misinformation in the public domain, we urge Australians to continue to consult reputable sources of evidence-based information such as the Commonwealth and State Departments of Health, our Chief Medical Officers, the Australian Academy of Science,
as well as our Learned Academies such as the Australian Academy for Health and Medical Sciences”.

Professor Shine, I’ve been investigating taxpayer-funded vaccination policy for the past 12 years, and I’m appalled at the conflicts of interest that engulf this area of public health. Vaccination policy has been effectively colonised by the vaccine industry, resulting in an ever-increasing vaccination schedule. In my view, there is an over-use of vaccine
products and this must be reviewed.

I’ve sought transparency and accountability for vaccination policy and individual vaccine products, but have been stonewalled at every turn. People like me who question vaccination policy are reflexively labelled ‘anti-vaxxers’, a blatant means used to discredit and marginalise people who have legitimate questions about taxpayer-funded
vaccination policy and practice.

In the past, I’ve enquired about conflicts of interest at the Australian Academy of Science, in correspondence raised with Sir Gus Nossal, Professor Suzanne Cory, and Professor Andrew Holmes. I’ve been less than impressed with the response.

Professor Shine, you suggest Australians should “consult reputable sources of evidence-based information”. How ‘reputable’ are sources that refuse to be accountable and open to scrutiny? For example, I’ve sought disclosure of conflicts of interest of members of the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI), having some success with disclosure of brief information emerging after I wrote to then Prime Minister Tony Abbott in 2015. But the information on ATAGI members is still grossly deficient, and there is no historical information publicly accessible for previous members of this group who oversaw the addition of vaccine products to the taxpayer-funded schedule.

There’s also a lack of disclosure of conflicts of interest for other influential people, for example members of the vaccine industry-funded Immunisation Coalition, who are frequently in the media promoting vaccine products and associated matters on the back of their credentials, people such as Robert Booy, Raina MacIntyre, Margie Danchin, Katie Attwell, Mary-Louise McLaws, Rodney Pearce, Paul Van Buynder, and Tony Bartone, former AMA President. But these people seldom disclose that vaccine manufacturers Pfizer, CSL/Seqirus, GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi and MSD (aka Merck) fund the Immunisation Coalition, a conflict of interest that should be disclosed in their media articles.

Professor Shine, taxpayer-funded vaccination policy is a conflicted shambles, and the current handling of the coronavirus situation brings this matter to the fore. In this regard, please see below my email to Professor Allen Cheng, one of the major influencers on taxpayer-funded vaccination policy in Australia.

In my email to Professor Cheng, I challenge the implementation of mass coronavirus vaccination in Australia, a medical intervention which politicians are threatening to coerce people to accept. I’ve attached a copy of the article in The Australian referred to in my email, it’s likely to be behind the paywall, like so much material impacting on vaccination
policy, e.g. in the blessed ‘peer-reviewed literature’…

This matter is relevant to people around the world, with everyone under threat of this poorly thought through vaccination response. My email below is also publicly accessible via this link.  Please consider this information carefully Professor Shine, it’s time to shine a light in this dark corner of the scientific establishment. Dear Professor Cheng, it’s highly alarming that the Morrison government is gearing up to vaccinate ‘a large proportion of the population’, when there is so much uncertainty about experimental coronavirus vaccine products. In The Australian today[1], you say “if a large proportion of the population was vaccinated this year, it would allow an easing of restrictions even if it did not result in herd immunity in the short term”.

You also say, “At this stage, we don’t really know exactly how long protection will last for…If we’re lucky, it may last years. But we need to be ready if it doesn’t last. If it only lasts for a year or shorter, then we need to work out what we’re going to do next about making sure that everyone has a better degree of protection”.

Professor Cheng, your comments throughout the article in The Australian are riddled with uncertainties – are there any independent infectious diseases specialists in Australia who more comprehensively understand viruses and immunology? It appears you have no idea about the quality of immunity being provided by the coronavirus vaccine products, including if they will prevent transmission. Australians are being set up to be guinea pigs in a coronavirus vaccine clinical trial.

Despite the constant flow of alarming reports in the mainstream media (including lurid COVID ‘case’ and death counters), which are in desperate need of critical analysis, it appears SARS-CoV-2 is not a serious risk for most people under the age of 70 years, and not necessarily a death sentence for those over 70 years. To interfere with the natural defences of people with experimental vaccine products, that may be pressed upon them at least every year, is highly questionable, particularly for people who are not in vulnerable categories. We have no idea of the long-term cumulative consequences
of repeated coronavirus vaccination throughout life.

People have a right to consider the risks and benefits of coronavirus vaccination, and to give their ‘informed consent’ to such a medical intervention. Consider for example the implications of the Montgomery case in the UK[2] in regards to patient autonomy and evaluating risk with medical intervention. The Montgomery ruling “established that, rather than being a matter for clinical judgment to be assessed by professional medical opinion, a patient should be told whatever they want to know, not what the doctor thinks they should be told”. The Montgomery ruling has been hailed as “the most important UK judgment on informed consent for 30 years”, and I suggest it should also be considered before the administration of vaccine products. This also opens up to question the reliability and objectivity of recommendations for vaccine products on the taxpayer-funded schedule. There must be scrutiny of TGA, and ATAGI and PBAC processes supporting these recommendations, including consideration of conflicts of interest.
Professor Cheng, why is there so much focus on vaccinating mass populations of people who are unlikely to be at serious risk of SARS-CoV-2, with fast-tracked experimental vaccine products, rather than finding effective preventatives and treatments for the vulnerable? I question whether mass vaccination is an appropriate response to SARS-CoV-2, this situation appears to me to have been very poorly considered.

Is anyone thinking through the ethical issues of the rushed global coronavirus vaccination experiment? This is especially concerning with NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian recently broaching “the possibility of barring those who decline the COVID-19 vaccine from government-run buildings, as well as permitting private venues to take
similar measures”.[3] On what scientific basis is Gladys Berejiklian broaching this possibility of hindering Australians from participating freely in daily life? This draconian attitude goes along with Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s previous call for a COVID-19 vaccine to be “as mandatory as you can possibly make it”, with Morrison boasting “I was the minister that established ‘No jab, no play’, so my view on this is pretty clear”.[4]

Deputy Chief Medical Officer Nick Coatsworth has also suggested “some sort of incentive” is needed for vaccination, looking “at specific things like not being able to go into restaurants, not being able to travel internationally, not being able to catch public transport or more broadly having what in the olden days would have been a yellow fever vaccination certificate…”.[5] And the Biosecurity Act 2015 looms with the threat of five years imprisonment and/or a $66,600 fine for people who refuse coronavirus vaccination.[6]

To suggest putting in place coercive vaccination strategies in our liberal democracy, with vaccine products that are very questionable for the majority of the population, is a most serious matter. Over the past year we’ve already seen an appalling abuse of Federal and State emergency powers in Australia in the ill-targeted and disproportionate response to this virus. There’s an astonishing lack of transparency and accountability for the power being exerted over people in this country, e.g. lockdowns, testing, mask mandates, and
potentially coercive vaccination. This is especially so in regard to unelected individuals, such as you Professor Cheng, who are wielding enormous power over the free movement and association of Australians. This includes members of the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), and academics in the public health policy area. Many
influential unelected individuals have conflicts of interest that are not being properly disclosed, e.g. associations with the vaccine industry. There is a historical lack of transparency for people influential on taxpayer-funded vaccination policy in Australia.

People in Australia are being shut out of this important discussion on community health. My own local Federal and State representatives are useless on this matter, providing bland form letter responses if they deign to respond at all.

To try and participate in public discussion we’re reliant on social media platforms and comments threads on mainstream media forums, with the constant threat of censorship. For instance I had to fight to have my comment published on the article featuring you in The Australian this morning.[1]

Professor Cheng, this area of public health is a conflicted mess, it’s way past time for transparency and accountability.

  1. Well done Elizabeth Hart. Its about time these parasites were questioned about why they are so anxiously pushing vaccinations which are not needed. There are numerous alternatives which will not be detrimental to our health, as are vaccines.

    It is a known fact that this current so-called vaccine is not actually a vaccine. It is misnamed so as to protect the pharmaceutical industry from damages claims for death and injury, of which there have been many so far.

    There are people in the medical industry willing to lie, branding deaths caused by the “vaccination” as Covid-19 deaths even though the “vaccination” is given to supposedly prevent the contagion of Covid-19.

      • oldgramps77, looking at horse medicine in the local produce store recently and I asked the lady if she had any Ivermectin to which she replied ‘not on it’s own’. Then I got talking about what I wanted it for and she started talking in a low tone about how other people asked her about IVM. Then fear took over her and she told me that I frightened her and that she would be happy if I never entered her shop again. Crazy!

        Seems to me that the government Mafia has sent out directions to produce stores.

        • My area hospital administrator is on record (policy letter) telling/warning Dr’s not to admit patients dosed with HCQ/IVM or lose their privileges. My pharmacy is carefully monitored by State Agencies. No HCQ/IVM or lose your license unless part of an authorized treatment plan.

          I can only conclude that the best and the brightest (Doctors/Medicos) are all “Chicken S*h+t” Zombies!!

          • I have read of the effectiveness of ivermectin (and HCQ) but unless you try the blackmarket it is not possible to obtain either. Obtaining from these places is the risk of the quality that you are getting. So, why not try something that is easily obtainable and relatively cheap. I have read Dr Thomas Levy’s latest book Rapid Virus Recovery and trying the ones that he recommends. That is, nebulised H2O2; VitC, VitD and NAC. I have just started and hence unable to report on effectiveness as yet. Why not read the book; if you haven’t heard of Dr Thomas Levy check-up on him and his credibilty.   5. India’s Current ‘COVID Crisis’ in Context

    The mainstream media’s reporting on the ‘COVID crisis’ in India has clearly been governed by a global approach to messaging that appears to aim at ramping up fear of ‘new variants’ and coerce compliance to vaccination during a period of increasing resistance, both in India and abroad. However, as somebody who lived in India for 8 years in total until December 2019, and as the fundraiser for a food bank in Bihar that has been alleviating the hunger caused by lockdowns [1], I have daily contact with people in India as well as some context for the figures being presented amidst the ongoing alarm.

    Firstly, the media are presenting cases and deaths in whole numbers that sound horrendous until you convert them to percentages of India’s huge population of 1.4 billion people. The current daily death rate in India of 2,600 is equivalent to 126 deaths per day in the UK, way below our peak rate and closer to what we are experiencing now.   6. When my uncle was concerned about India’s predicament according to msm I did a little research and some maths to compare India, US and Australia. Interesting that US death rate is almost twice that of Australia. India’s figures although high are fairly constant, but as usual the msm has done no homework.

    India – Historical Death Rate Data

    I presume the 2021 Death rate is pro rata for this year.

    India’s population 2021= 1,352,642,280 x 7.44% = 99,338,049 deaths expected this year.

    That’s a lot of deaths but the population is huge.

    My guess is that actual deaths, year’s end will be much higher than estimated due to Covid “vaccine”, deaths. Hope I am wrong.

    Comparisons 2020:

    U.S. Deaths 3,358,814 over Population 331,002, 651 = 1.0147%

    Australia Deaths 141,116 over Population 25,00,000 = 0.553%

  8. Thanks to Elizabeth Hart for her well-written letters and her advocacy on behalf of the general public of Australia.
    I am not what is often referred to as an ‘anti-vaxxer’ – that is, I am not against all vaccines in any circumstances. But I have seen too many qualified scientists warning of the dangers of these hastily-developed and experimental Covid-19 vaccines to be prepared to take one of them until I am completely sure that they are safe – which may take several years. It is totally outrageous that various politicians, including the Prime Minister, have been hinting that taking the vaccine will be made mandatory, i.e. compulsory, or else that people declining the vaccine should be denied entry to various venues such as government buildings, restaurants, etc. The public has already been subject over the past year to too many mandatory decrees, including self-quarantining and mask-wearing; but mandatory vaccination would be a step too far. I would be prepared to put up with being prevented from travelling overseas (I can’t really afford it anyway), but I will NOT put up with being forced to take a dubious vaccine. I hope that, if there is any sign that vaccination will be made mandatory, the Australian people will rise up in huge numbers and defeat it. After all, we are not yet in the situation of China, where dissent is near impossible – though Western governments seem to be determined to take us as far in that direction as they can get away with.

      People will rise up, but only if they see a visible identification of allies. The very successful French yellow vests was an excellent example.

      Got any ideas what an anti vac symbol might be? AV perhaps?

      Spraying a symbol on walls everywhere could be very effective. Then protesting with the same symbol on caps, which are easily visible on TV news.

      Tattooing it on Scomo’s forehead appeals to me.

    • What interests me is that you don’t actually need any in-depth medical understanding to figure out what the vaccine program is all about: The promises re the purported Broadband roll-out were a reasonably accurate blueprint re the nature of Canberra-style promises. Not only was there a complete failure to deliver( like so many others I wound up with a WORSE service) the agenda was hallmarked by dodgy business deals/cheapskating coupled by a reckless disregard for health and safety

  18. Covid is the cure for flu and influenza

    This is from the April 29 Scientific American, which ran an article having the headline: Flu has disappeared worldwide during the COVID pandemic.

    Since the novel coronavirus began its global spread, influenza cases reported to the World Health Organization have dropped to minuscule levels. The reason, epidemiologists think, is that the public health measures taken to keep the coronavirus from spreading also stop the flu. Influenza viruses are transmitted in much the same way as SARS-CoV-2, but they are less effective at jumping from host to host.

    As Scientific American reported last fall, the drop-off in flu numbers was both swift and universal. Since then, cases have stayed remarkably low. “There’s just no flu circulating,” says Greg Poland, who has studied the disease at the Mayo Clinic for decades. The U.S. saw about 600 deaths from influenza during the 2020-2021 flu season. In comparison, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimated there were roughly 22,000 deaths in the prior season and 34,000 two seasons ago.

    The author goes on to explain (probably laughing all the time) that the treatments for Covid are working remarkably well against flu and influenza. Of course, the main treatment is the quarantine, masks, and “social distancing.” The jab has only come recently and is only serving to spread disease, as they discovered in India.

    The article goes on to say,

    Public health experts are grateful for the reprieve. Some are also worried about a lost immune response, however. If influenza subsides for several years, today’s toddlers could miss a chance to have an early-age response imprinted on their immune system. That could be good or bad, depending on what strains circulate during the rest of their life.

    More laughs! They are more worried that Pfizer might not sell as many vax’s. Their profits might drop by billions of dollars. It used to be that children got immunity by exposing themselves to certain diseases, such as chicken pox. But that was too cheap.

    According to Dr. Jim Willie, the World Health Organization (WHO) recently published a chart showing how flu cases have dropped dramatically in the 2020-2021 flu season (winter).

      Just compare death numbers for each country in 2020 with the death numbers prior to 2020. Allowing for increased population there is hardly any difference between the years. This alone proves that there was (is) no new virus. A bit of common sense. Just a gigantic scam.

          • 123 million winners out of 1.6 billion losers = only an average of about 12 losers to each winner, so theoretically they extracted about $100k out of each worker over a 20 year period, that is $5k per year or $100 per week, so that figuring sounds very feasible, and could easily go to double, triple, whatever. I have the same money but it’s all tied up so I can’t go and get a P-plate in Asia, have to keep working. A million or two isn’t much anymore, 2 or 3 townhouses or flats, not much really for decades of education and toil.
