In explaining the campaign of the Laborites, former NSW premier Kristina Keneally “couldn’t wait to deliver the monologue she’d rehearsed in the bathroom mirror.”
So said that giant of online newspapers, news.com:
“Look, at first she lost everyone with some gibberish about basketball, but then got back on track. ‘(Scott Morrison) was not the daggy dad, the bloke-blokey, but someone who is arrogant, aggressive and, quite frankly, desperate,’ she said, trying to contain her excitement in the same way you do when you’re telling a bloody good joke and you can’t wait to hit it home with your killer punchline.
“Scott Morrison came to the debate last night not with any policy or vision, though he did have his Mark Latham moment. He came with no real action on climate change. Bill came with a climate change action plan.”
We at GumshoeNews.com are here today to tell all the candidates, in all states and territories, that our online daily will be pleased to run a thousand-word-or-less platform paper from any candidate.
It will be published without remarks by the editors, but is subject to what we could politely call “open season” in the Commenters’ section.
It’s not that we need to hear what the contenders think on some of our favorite subjects, but it won’t do any harm if they feel like emoting about these things anyway:
- smart meters,
- immigration policy,
- lack of boy recruits to the military,
- Pauline Hanson’s remarks about Port Arthur,
- Jonathon Faine’s unfortunate Kevin Bracken moment,
- the deep meaning of PAS (parental alienation syndrome),
- why the late Man Haron Monis (assuming he is deceased) asked the state to investigate what role ASIO played in his ex-wife’s death in the stairwell,
- the submarine industry,
- drilling the Bight,
- gun control,
- Jimmy Savile,
- the blue man in the donutting scene,
- John Howard’s participation in war crimes
- Alexander Downer’s gift to The Clinton Foundation,
- the Beaumont children,
- “beds without sheets” [Orwellian code takeover of legislation]
- vaccination,
- the monarchy, etc.
Please Spread the Word
If you, dear Reader, have a favorite candidate, please let him or her know that the space is available. We will clear the decks and post their dissertation within 36 hours of receiving it. If Dee is on smoko (again!) a deputy technician will be on board to make sure there are no delays.
If the person wants more than 1,000 words they should apply for a permit. If they desire to be interviewed on camera, it can probably be arranged. I love interviewing and will be either in Adelaide or Concord, NH, depending.
Dee only interviews big’uns.
That’s it, and hurry. Election day is only a fortnight away.
Mary, I think it well be like *** in the wind hoping for any hopeful politician to discuss (honestly) smart meters, vax, gun control, PA etc. We can always hope. You’ll hear the usual on ABC’s Q&A. Maybe they’ll give Jon Faine Tony Jones’ job next year.
Dee, we frown upon three-letter words here at Gumshoe.
I mean for grammatical reasons.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again the so-called Left is the Socialist-Communists and the Right is the Fascist supporting the Fascist Corporations or the conglomerate of Corporatism. Australia has no middle or centre party of any clout.
It is a few seconds of sound-bytes of false promises from the compulsive lying politicians as if that is the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Australians Fraudulent Voting System

Now that the Honourable WA Senator Rod Cullen has exposed what a number of us have known and was told in Parliament that 12 High Court judges and others did not see what Rod Cullen and his team saw and found and verified in the UK recently. The Australian Government and those previous governments up to the Australia Act are illegal. Is that the Freemason High court judges and others concealing these facts of evidence? What is the penalty of sedition and treason in Australia and a number of other crimes in the Criminal Code?
At least President Putin sits down in front of hundreds of journalists and sits for several hours answering questions on a regular basis not just voting time. The Australian journalists are weak-kneed and lily livered to ask the real tough questions that should be as asked as they are in the domain of “Fourth Estate”. Of course many ignore that and are from the CFR or sympathetic to their geo-political cause or the Zionist Murdoch consortium.

We’ve posted this before:
Ask your favourite candidate:
Explain this;
http://australiandebtclock.com.au/history.
How did it arise,
why and
what are you going to do about it?
Right:
Distract the electors with inane inane politically correct bs and sport,
Send billions overseas for carbon dioxide credits for the UN,
Destroy the income stream for self financed retirees,
Rob our graves when we are dead,
Continue to destroy the manufacturing basis and prospects for Aussie workers,
Place the middle class into medieval servitude with debt to the bankers and the UN.
Bribe the useless eaters.
Pretend we are a sovereign country.
Nice.
Have a nice election.
May 18th, thanks for that. I didn’t know or give a flying shit about any upcoming election. Now I know because of Gumshoes, thanks guys for keeping me in the loop.
Now that I know there is a date for the ‘election’, I will have to decide which of the various candidates/parties I will have to vote for to avoid a fine. Since the MSM has pulled so many dirty tricks against Pauline Hanson, I’m going to vote for her (or her party, whatever).
Terry
You do not have to vote. Just write the words… “not one candidate worth voting for” or “ïnvalid vote” or whatever rocks your boat, and then chuck the voting slip in the box. You get no fine and it really pisses off the sycophantic vote counting personnel.
Relax Terry, most election sites have a sausage sizzle …. pretty cheap and usually for a good cause.
Do not miss out, unless one wishes to pre-poll without any identification and do it again on May 18th with a sausage or two.
Without any requirement for identification one may spend the day gorging at all the sausage sizzles one may desire. Some places have eggs and bacon for a little extra.
About time McDonalds took up arms and demanded that voters provide some identification or stick their index finger into a jar of blue die……..they did that in Afghanistan years back.
One day our politicians will catch up with Afghanistan………. where we have brought true democracy, borrowing money from the bankers at interest to achieve.
Terry: Vote well, vote often and watch your weight and have a sip on me.
I know the locals that put on the sausage sizzle. I usually show up before the first sausages and onions are cooked. If I haven’t had breakfast, then I may partake.
Whoever the MSM is trying to rubbish is my yardstick of who to vote for. It is like some sort of BIG TIME ENDORSEMENT!
I suppose I’m just like all the other ‘sheep’ I pay attention to what the MSM is saying.
A disclaimer:
For all the arseholes voting twice and those encouraging it, you are frauds: it is a criminal offence and the pox on you.
But the government will not lift a finger with die to prevent you.
The pox on them too, they do not deserve our confidence or vote.
I have been a candidate in elections and early at the local booths.
It is easy to pick the criminals………..there used to be about a dozen lined up to vote first and then after ‘offending’, they all ran off …….. undoubtedly to another booth in pre-arranged transport.
None of them ever appeared to be the average ‘conservative’ type.
G’day Ned, re having to show ID before being allowed to vote. In our last Queensland state election, all those registered on the poll received an ID card in the post about 10 days ahead of the election, with instruction to hand it over to the electoral officer, or their substitute, when reporting to vote. It was not photographic identification.
Supposedly you could not vote without this card, unless providing acceptable means of ID. I don’t know if anything was achieved by this, or how many extra votes were accepted beyond the total registered in this state.
Ask their position on Julian Assange.I have sent correspondence to our “representatives” on both sides of politics and have been met with deafening silence.
If they are not willing to stand up for the truth tellers then they are of no use to the Australian electorate.
Yes, put this video on your tablet and show it to the electoral spruikers and demand that Assange be rewarded for bringing truth to the people and exposing the murderous politicians.
US and Australia making friends and influencing countries:
Then show them this for 1.38 minutes and ask why the party they are spruiking for has not demanded that the video be broadcast on the MSM and on our billion dollar ABC.
Then ask the spruiker why our responsible lying politicians have not been tried for Iraq war crimes, convicted and sitting in a cell next to Pell.
Hey, it is the public’s day on the 18th, it only turns up once every few years when our politicians and their spruikers actually pretend to listen to the electors.
Make use of it for humanity……. err;;; sorry,… instead, let us worry about that essential plant food…Carbon dioxide and be screwed by the UN and give away Australia’s manufacturing base and sovereignty…….yep; knife our old soldiers defending our sovereignty in the back and sentence our kids to corporate fascist servitude in perennial debt!!!!
Why bother, just feed up at the sausage sizzle and forget that anything one votes for will make any dam difference…………..express your feelings with a suitable note on the ballot paper………TELL ‘EM’ WHAT YOU THINK…………….!!!!!
BTW: tell them to sell the billion dollar lying ABC…………That will help reduce our debt and interest payments and might get my vote!!
These days we send young women to share in the glory .
Shame on all lying politicians on both sides of the same war party .
If Julian goes by force , to the US , he could meet the same fate as those innocent
people .
In reality , only the liebores will get to govern again . To top it , we get fined if we don’t
vote for these war criminals , as if we aren’t fleeced enough to keep the machinations of war going . Here in the lucky country , the lucky ones work to feed the banksters in their overseas wars of occupation at compounding interest !
They’re not in deficit , never have been , the only ones broke are we the sheeple .
Wasn’t going to comment but can’t resist .
The two parties should amalmagate and form the liebore party .
Spare us the illusion and as a result , a new major party created to oppose them .
That’s truly a fabulous idea, 56. And may I suggested a name for the new opposition party? The Grounded Party.
As in grounded in reality.
Yes , a grounded party that follows the simple and everlasting
teachings of Jesus .
Overnight , war is over and love restored .
I hope readers took the time to listen to Putin’s answer to the BBC journalist. It was an 8 minute lesson in geopolitics that you will never hear on Australia’s apology for news outlets aka News Corp, Nine Media, 7 Media, the ABC and SBS.

5G APOCALYPSE – THE EXTINCTION EVENT
“If voting made any difference they wouldn’t let us do it.” — Mark Twain
There is only one party in any demockery, and that is the Money Party, and they always win since they own all the other parties.
That , of course, always gives us the best government money can buy.
Arlyn, How refreshing would it be to hear from our politicians along the way!? copious amounts of “what I’ve done” coming out of John Alexander’s office (at taxpayers’ expense no doubt) to remind us who he is… wipe the last few weeks’ postal drops & possibly few residents would even know who he is!
amazed at the ability to deflect the limelight off Shorten’s rape allegations by the passing of Bob Hawke? coincidence!!? certainly timely for a labour sympathy vote!
