I note the Garma festival in Arnhem Land is focusing on how to Close the Gap which is getting bigger by design. I have been to 4 Garma festivals the first in 1998 when I was on the panel because bilingual education was being phased out Howards plan.

Just a bit of background re where I am at–??
Managing my DID, programming and all that entails is the usual challenge. Also the bombardment of too much info–diversions and flooding programming that scrambles the mind.
At the beginning of 2015 I set myself a three year [internal agreement] survival plan to complete some tasks—to keep going until 20th March 2018- when I will be “75” [ age is tricky for me.} Then I plan to make some big decisions- about the last bit.
‘If we lose our story we lose our dreams and if we lose our dreams our spirit dies” My strength is in my spirituality—which is connected to the universal energy field and the heart connection we have to all things.
The submission I sent to the RC about Dondale Detention Centre has been core to this plan [walking together separately yet in agreement] —I see it as the framework/scaffold to enable me to try to bring my whole complicated story together. What I call the Big Picture—some documentation of my story- Blog –Book- Documentary –that may or may not happen. It is more important to add to others expertise and validate each others work at this time.
What I am focused on– committed to –before end of year is.
1. Write a chapter/essay that gives testimony to my knowledge and experience about the systematic and planned Genocide of First Nations Peoples since invasion by the Colonial powers.
2. Get some help to get my submission out there—published –used by others — Now that the final report and some fall out has occurred it can progress. It links the Tavistock agenda with the geo political Australian Story—- –will send some bits of my submission—to skim through prior to meeting up.
The rise and fall of the Papunya Model of Education is core to both of these tasks—How the education story is being used to widen the gap. And how years of work have been shredded destroyed and how people have been shamed, alienated from each other- humiliated –bullied-sold out and silenced.
Also linking in the key perpetrators –naming names crimes against humanity –not just a NT problem –not a black and white problem- need for truth and justice- remove the harm- then some holistic reparation restoration- so healing can begin.
I think large numbers of these strays end up in Arabia probably worth a few barrels of oil each. Years ago David Straight said he was on top of Mt Rushmore with Trump and JFK Jr., who am I to argue, it’s like Icke with his lizard people, I wasn’t there I know that much.
Do not bother serving on a criminal jury and decide anything either.. you would not be on the panel because you would not have been there either.
