[Editor’s note: This review of a stage play was written in advance of the facts it purports to report.]
At the 2019 Adelaide Fringe, a new play “Crikey! Australian Conspiracies,” was presented by a writer from the Melbourne indy media Gumshoe News — “Doctor” Mary W Maxwell. The performance took place on Sunday, March 17, the final day of the Fringe season.
Mary herself was unable to attend the performance, as she was in the watch house, having been arrested in early March upon her return from overseas. It seems that while in the US she had gone into a sort of 1960s civil-rights trance, thinking she had unlimited First Amendment rights.
Well, maybe she did have those rights in some theoretical way, but Mary is a dual citizen and the rights do not apply once she crosses into the Antipodean zone. In fact Australia has laws against freedom of speech.
Consider, for example, Section 18C of the Human Rights Act. It protects all people (is that really its purpose?) from being hurt by insults.
Granted, you can still hurl epithets at an individual. Recall Paul Keating employing the word “scumbag” – in fact just recall Paul Keating — but if you could possibly be insinuating that your insultee’s bad trait is a feature of his ethnicity, you could be in trouble.
Back in 2010, Section 18C was used against Maxwell’s fellow Adelaidean, Dr Fredrick Toben. South Australia’s Human Rights Commission found him to be anti-Semitic for his outlandish remark, inter alia, that the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution was Jewish-run.
This gave Toben the chance to develop remorse while in a prison in South Australia. We don’t know if he actually did develop remorse, since to ask him if he did or did not might be to commit further 18C violations, even on the part of the asker.
Mary herself has taken chances in this area. It’s a wonder the boom hasn’t been lowered by Human Rights Commissioner Rosalind Croucher, over Gumshoe’s coverage of Holocaust revisionism.
Or maybe it isn’t a wonder. All things considered.
The Child-Stealing Hush-Hush Rule
Another law against free speech can be found in Section 121 of Australia’s national law, The Family Law Act. By “national,” is meant that while jurisdiction in regard to family matters normally belongs to the states, in 1975 the states referred their family powers to the Commonwealth.
This referral of power was cricket under Section 51 Australia’s Constitution, but has had at least one bad effect. Namely, before 1975 if you lived in a state whose Family Law you disagreed with, you could simply have moved to another state. But now, where e’re you roam, you are restricted by Family Law Act’s Section 121.
That section tells you to not discuss any case you presently have before the Family Court. It’s intended to protect the privacy of families (really?). Let’s just say that a result of Section 121 is that, if kids in your neighboring suburb were undergoing torture today, as in fact many are, you’re not allowed to say so, on penalty of a year in prison.
“Oh. Isn’t there mandatory reporting, by professionals, of child abuse?” Um. Sort of. Well, it’s complicated.
“Oh. Isn’t dealing with crimes such as torture written into the police’s job description?” Now lookie here, that is way too complicated.
“Sorry. I thought that the covering up of a crime is listed as a crime — obstruction of justice.” Shut it, will you!
The Fringe
So back to the one-year term that Mary W Maxwell must serve for her wanton disregard of Section 121 of the Family Law Act. When she found out that kiddy torture was happening in South Australia, she lost all sense of discretion. She, as they say, went postal. (Dee McLachlan, her mentor at Gumshoe, was already seriously postal over it.)
Every year at Fringe time, Mary ponders “How can I best use my meager skills at drama to drive home a point, maybe deploying some vaguely illegal material but not so illegal as to bring the men in blue?”
(The men used to wear pale, pale blue, in SAPOL, but now that’s not nearly terrifying enough, so they’ve gone to a darker blue, working there way, no doubt, to black — as is the case in the erstwhile Land of the Free.)
Actually, the Fringe deadline for registering the title of one’s 2019 play was September 18, 2018. On that date, Maxwell did not know what direction the torture thing was going to take, so she covered her bases with a generic title “Crikey! Australian Conspiracy Theories.”
The online blurb for the play suggests that the topic could include such conspiracy chestnuts as the death-by-drowning of Prime Minister Harry Holt, lightning as a possible cause of the Victoria bushfire, and the “mysterious” abduction of the Beaumont children.
There’s also the Lindt Café siege of 2014 – although Mary thinks that has not yet achieved chestnut status — and the role of the 3 silvery cars in the 2016 Federation Square donutting, an item for which GumshoeNews.com scored its all-time highest number of views: 77,000.
Past Fringe shows produced by Mary include a Moot Court Trial for Martin Bryant, in 2017. That performance was not dangerous, as every word of it came out of the files of DPP Damian Bugg (a role played with panache by local actor Rodney van der Wall).
There was also the 2018 spoof on False Memory Syndrome, in which Rodney played Dr Jose Delgado of bullfight fame. By the way, any victims still holding a Delgado implant in their cranium are slated to receive enormous pain when the new technology 5G comes into effect.
(Does anybody know who made that decision, or how it can be reversed?)
Pushing the Envelope
Mary hoped the 2019 Fringe would be the best yet. It would probably have been her Nelly Melba Farewell Fringe, thanks to her advancing age. (She recently became a great-great grandaunt, to a Maxwell in Canada.)
For the 2019 show she involved such Gumshoe figureheads as Dr Richard Day, Fiona Barnett, Vanessa Goodwin, R.I.P., and Andrew McIntyre. The narrator would have to be Australia’s most famous whistle blower, Julian Assange.
However, our dear playwright was not satisfied with light comedy. She proceeded to push the envelope — she devoted the longest act of the play to the subject of Protective parents. Thus, Mary was not surprised when met at the airport by a pair of handcuffs and charges of “envelope-pushing, inappropriate journalism, and contemptuous reference to judicial kidnap.”
Incarceration of the playwright did not, however, prevent the Fringe show from being staged. “The show must go on.” The actors knew enough to soften the script into sufficiently ambiguous terms as to make it penetrable only to the cognoscenti.
For example, a word like “coaching” could seem to mean ordinary coaching. But the in-crowd will understand that if it’s a DCP worker saying you have coached your child, that could mean you have unfairly offered support to your little one.
Such “coaching” is irresponsible; it may endanger, or at least disadvantage, the local pedopile ring.
But don’t worry, the Fringe show had a happy ending in which the wrongdoers – or at least a prominent spokesman for the wrongdoers – saw the light and cursed the day he … he…. (sorry, this is classified).

Please accept Brief 200 from Field McConnell – United States Marine Corps whistle-blower and Global Operations Director of Abel Danger (AD) – on Serco‘s CAI private-equity group investors who have apparently embedded Virtual Command Centers in the Marine Corps Attaché and FBI Law Enforcement Online (LEO) networks so that Serco could deploy its patentee SWAT teams to track and trigger mass-casualty events with Tencent’s Instant messaging system and method US 8566404 B2 and allegedly allow Clinton Foundation pay-to-play donors to bet on victim body counts with Howard Lutnick’s Real-time interactive wagering on event outcomes CA 2460367 A1.
McConnell claims that Serco used Nortel’s Method for efficient management of certificate revocation lists and update information US 5699431 A to block the FBI’s investigation into body count betting on the mass-casualty events of 9/11 allegedly triggered by Tencent’s IM devices for junket room operators including CAI investor, 7th SACEUR and former MGM Mirage and AOL director, the late Gen. Alexander Haig and the former Marine Corps Captain, LEO founder and former Assistant FBI Director, Oliver “Buck” Revell who reportedly pulled his son and daughter-in-law off Pan Am Flight 103 shortly before it took off from London’s Heathrow airport at 18:25 hours on 21 December 1988 to be bombed over Lockerbie, Scotland at 19:02:50 in an attack which generated 270 victims (243 passengers and 16 crew + 11 people on ground).
McConnell claims that Haig equipped Tencent’s Chinese junket investors and the Greek Life associates of Bill Clinton (Phi Beta Kappa) and Wilbur Ross (Kappa Beta Phi) with LEO Virtual Command Centers so they could deploy SWAT teams with Nortel JABS* to trigger 9/11 bets on body counts for target entities such as FDNY (343) dead and ‘drift’ money into their private accounts through subsequent Coordinated rebalancing by money manager portfolio management systems and a master overlay manager portfolio management system US 7729969 B1.
JABS* – The Joint Automated Booking System allegedly built by Nortel Government Solutions for a secret society (Pride?) in the U.S. Department of Justice so that FBI or Interpol insiders can book felons and patentee SWAT teams into mass casualty events; control outcomes of crime-scene investigations and enrich Serco‘s private-equity investors including the late Alexander Haig.
McConnell claims that Serco has revoked the certificates needed by the FBI and/or the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity to investigate the ambulance bombing near the Sidarat Square in Kabul, Afghanistan where at least 103 people were killed on 27 January 2018 and allowed patentee SWAT teams to destroy evidence which might link JABS booking, Tencent triggers and Lutnick wagering systems to the Interpol head and former Vice-minister and deputy head of China’s paramilitary police force, Meng Hongwei.
McConnell claims that Serco uses Buck Revell’s Imagis face recognition s/w to track actors and victims through the federal bridge certification authority network and, in re the ambulance bombing in Kabul, remind government leaders that while Clinton insiders may write SWAT team scripts, Serco (formerly RCA GB 1929) and its investment bankers control special weapons through the United States Patent and Trademark Office and therefore control the country itself!
Field McConnell invites you to convene a meeting with your cabinet colleagues and United States Marine Corps Major Duncan D. Hunter, Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California’s 50th district, where McConnell can explain how Serco has embedded patentee SWAT teams into LEO and its predecessor networks to conceal insider messaging and wagering on times of victim deaths or body counts at such crime scenes as – to name just three – the remotely triggered bombings of Pan Am 103 on 21 December 1988, targets in New York and Washington DC on 9/11 and the Kabul ambulance attacks on 27 January 2018.
After meeting with Congressman Hunter and your cabinet colleagues, McConnell will be asking Congress to authorize President Trump to issue a Presidential letter of Marque and Reprisal, which would allow him (McConnell) to recruit and lead an Abel Danger Marine Expeditionary Unit of about 100 veteran Marines to seize and take the assets of any patentee SWAT teams in the custody of Serco‘s private-equity groups (privateers), or shareholders or investment banker, N M Rothschild & Sons Ltd.
After the said assets have been transferred to the lawful custody of the United States’ government, McConnell’s MEU will begin to subdue the secret societies identified as Phi Beta Kappa and Kappa Beta Phi (founded 1776) which, we allege, have been blackmailing and extorting presidents of the United States with patentee SWAT-team attacks starting no later than the arson of the U.S. Patent Office in the USA Post Office, Blodget’s Hotel, Washington, on December 15, 1836 and continuing through pre-scripted arson or bombing attacks to the present day.
