The Western media has this amazing capacity to describe events around the world without the slightest reference to the truth. This is never more apparent than the coverage of the current war in Ukraine, we are history and the truth play a minor role. In 2014 there was an American inspired coup against the legitimately elected government of the Ukraine. The chief on the ground organiser of the coup was Victoria Nuland who, eight years later, is still playing a dominant role in Ukrainian affairs.
As a result of that coup the two regions of the Donbass, both overwhelmingly Russian speaking, declared that they wanted no part of the new government in Kew, and declared independence. In Crimea it was a little different, although it is impossible to read in the western media an accurate account of what transpired. It is invariably described as a Russian “coup”.
In fact, the people of Crimea held a referendum as to their future. The overwhelming majority voted to succeed from Ukraine and apply to re-join the Russian Federation. The word “re-join” is used advisedly, as Crimea had been part of Russia for centuries until 1954 when it was gifted to Ukraine by then Russian President Khrushchev. The Ukrainians took umbridge at the exercise in democracy and ever since have waged war on the island territory, now joined to Russia via a land bridge.
In 2015 Ukraine voluntarily signed a deal with the two Donbass regions, together with France and Germany. They have never ordered the terms of that deal and instead attacked the Donbass. Their troops are there to this day, although totally surrounded by troops from the two republics, aided by Russian and Chechen forces. It is only a matter of time before these Ukrainians either surrender or are destroyed.
In the years from 2015 to 2020 France and Germany were totally silent on Ukraine’s breaking of the agreement they had signed in 2015. It was this blatant breaching of the agreement and the waging of war on the citizens of the Donbass that finally led to Russia joining the war in February of this year. None of this history is discussed in the western media which persists in continually presenting a false image of the actions of Ukraine’s president.
He is presented as some sort of guardian of liberal democracy. In fact, he has been a willing party to the war waged on the Donbass and a loyal lickspittle to the Neo Nazi fascists who actually run Ukraine. The western media never tire of pointing out that Zelensky is a Jew and therefore could never be a party to the reign of the Neo Nazis who actually run the country. It is one of the more absurd lies that are used in the description of this anything but democratic country. It has, for example, recently banned the existence of 12 opposition parties, whose leaders have either been killed or imprisoned. Not a word of this appears in the western media.
Just as they deny the fact of Ukraine’s fascist government on the totally spurious grounds that is impossible because Zelensky is a Jew. One needs to judge a situation on its facts, not on some spurious wish that denies reality.
The intervention by Russia in the defence of the Donbass has led to more mass hysteria and downright lying by the Western media. According to the latter, Russia has lost tens of thousands of his troops in the war. The reality is very different. The Russians have inflicted tens of thousands of casualties on its opposition, with its own losses near to 1500 than the multiple of 10 that characterises Western descriptions.
We are also told that Russia is running out of artillery shells, and that the coming Ukrainian offensive will decisively force the Russians to retreat in disorderly disarray. It is all pure fantasy. The Americans for their part seemed determined to fight the war to the last Ukrainian. They have recently committed tens of billions of dollars to further arming the Ukrainians, despite the sorry history associated with previous supplies of arms. The Russians have recently cut the rail lines which is the only way those arms could reach the Dombass, and have mounted devastating attacks on those shipments.
The Ukrainians are increasingly desperate in their access to manpower. Recent prisoners of war in the Dombass have been untrained men in their 50s and 60s who were apparently glad to surrender and escape the non-stop bombardment of their positions. Those prisoners are being well treated, which is more than can be said of Russian prisoners. Their captors have apparently never heard of the Geneva Conventions, or at the very least totally disregard its provisions. Again, it is a feature of the Ukrainian way of fighting war that entirely escapes our local media.
Ukraine as a nation is finished. The Russians will take over not only the Donbass, but the entire stretch of eastern Ukraine that currently has a sea outlet. It is widely expected that the Poles will move into the west of Ukraine, to reclaim what was Polish territory in the old days. Hungry is also expected to claim a chunk of the Western portion.
That will leave a portion of the Centre and West as all that remains of the original Ukraine. They have only themselves to blame. Their profoundly stupid president allowed his fascist masters to involve him in a war that he could never win. The United States has sucked in its Western allies to fighting an economic war against Russia but it also is losing. The rouble recently reached a 20-year high and the blatant United States attempt at regime change in Russia is also going nowhere.
Australia, which had absolutely no stake in this fight also obeys its US masters and committed military equipment. It is unlikely that the results of the forthcoming election will see any change to that subservience.
The rest of the world moves on and the United States and its allies will have to confront the reality that the world the longer pays attention to its wishes. Australia has been slow to learn that lesson.

If you can recruit a mere two adults to visit your home, you could sit there and discuss strictly “What can we do?” Have paper and pen ready and don’t let the meeting end without a few scratches on the page.
I say this because I am pretty sure that none of us can think, unprompted. It takes external pressure to make the thoughts materialize. In normal life it takes an emergency, but in public life if an emergency happens the natural response is to obey orders.

Mary, I would not rely on the church for anything. I dropped out of attending church at age 11 having grown fed up with their vain repetitions, meaning I was not learning anything new as time progressed. I’ve learned a lot on my own since. The churches tax free status provided by secular governments restricts any adverse comment.

The politicians have nothing to say about a system which prints endless money (debt) to fund their stupid expenditure such as Grek Hunt’s 150 million injections he has signed us up for, then when the money-printing results in dollar devaluation (deceptively renamed “inflation”) the cure is for the public to give more money to the banksters, this is money for nothing, not a repayment, just profits they call higher interest.

China has now officially flipped from partner to menace in the language of our LockStepped “leaders”. These two are so controlled they are unable even to save themselves. The only thing I can’t predict exactly is how many votes they will manage to steal during the ballot event which starts today.
Don’t forget to use a pen, not their pencil, but they probably have fake ballot papers on hand anyway. These people are desperate, with no honour, and will lie about anything, as anyone knows lying is a basic pre-qualification, and Scotty and Elbow proved it again last night.
At the end of this long video about 1:13:00 they show the “volcano power” they are setting up in El Salvador for bitcoin mining, it doesn’t seem to be assembled yet judging by the big turbine they have hanging there. Hopefully they are luckier than the Australian startups of about 15 years ago, the pre-eminent one of which exploded.

Investigators Find Neo Nazi Torture Chambers In Ukraine

Proof of criminal behavior by Ukrainian forces against Russian troops, Donbass residents, and militiamen has largely gone unnoticed by Western politicians and the media. The latest evidence was uncovered when investigators found Neo-Nazi torture chambers in Ukraine.
……………..The facility, which contained the corpse of a person in a Russian military outfit with his legs cut off and wired to detonate, was discovered near the village of Zelenovka, approximately 7 kilometers northeast of Kherson, according to a security service source.
“The rigged body, presumably that of a Russian serviceman, was found in the basement of the ‘Old Oak’ roadside cafe along the M-14 highway in Zelenovka. The body has the remnants of special military clothing used by the Russian Armed Forces. The body has no legs, shows signs of torture, and has a slit larynx”, the source said.
The body was alleged to have been discovered atop an anti-tank mine with TNT in the vicinity, with the arrangement presumably intended to murder anyone who discovered it.

GAO warns of ‘unsustainable Fiscal Future,’ Debt reaching over 200% GDP
May 6, 2022 — “The US federal government faces unsustainable fiscal future. If policies don’t change, debt will continue to grow faster than the economy,” said the Government Accountability Office . . . “In our simulation, starting in 2024, debt held by the public grows faster than GDP in every year. In most years, debt held by the public grows more than twice as fast as the economy, in real terms” . . . interest on the debt, now about 6%, could surge to 27% . . . it all potentially adds up to a US default on debt payments, leading to even more economic hurt, said the GAO.
