Time to Reappraise the Relationship With China and Not Constantly Buy Into United States Misinformation

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet recently visited China to investigate the allegations that have been made by certain Western politicians about China’s treatment of its ethnic minority populations. Ms Bachelet gave a post-visit press conference. In that press conference she stated that her visit was not coerced or managed in any way. She was able to speak to whoever she wanted to.

Bachelet’s visit was also covered in a press conference given by a spokesperson for the China foreign ministry, Zhao Lijian. The other topic covered by Zhao was a speech given by United States secretary of state Antony Blinken who claimed that China poses “the most serious long-term challenge to the International order” and that the United States “must defend and reform the rules based international order.”

Zhao noted that the rules based international order is actually the “United States rules based International order.” It is the rules of the United States clique, the basic rules they formulated to govern their actions and justify their view of the world, which it is their unwavering aim to dominate. The “rules based international order” is the antithesis of the international order underpinned by the United Nations Charter and international law.

It is distressing that the new Australian Labor government has so quickly attached itself to the United States order. In fact, the United States is a country that has only had 16 years without war in its entire 200+ years of existence. It is in fact the greatest source of disruption threatening peace and stability throughout the world. As the author William Blum pointed out in his book “America’s Deadliest Export: Democracy,” since the end of World War II alone, the United States has attempted to overthrow more than 50 foreign governments, and grossly interfered in democratic elections in at least 30 countries.

According to a report published by Brown University, since 2001 alone the United States waged wars and military operations that have claimed over 800,000 lives and created more than 20 million refugees. The countries attacked and occupied by the United States include Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. In all three operations they were assisted by the Australian Government which continues to offer their support, notwithstanding the change of government.

At a press conference held on 30 May 2022, Zhao Lijian was asked about a statement made by Antony Blinken over the conditions allegedly imposed on Michelle Bechelet on her visit to China. Blinken alleged that Bachelet’s visit had been subject to Chinese restrictions. In fact, the allegations were a lie, which is standard for United States comments about China that are faithfully reported in the western media.

Zhao specifically rebutted the claim that Bachelet’s visit had been restricted in any way. He said that her visit, which was confirmed in the statement by Bachelet herself, was decided in accordance with her wishes and had not been restricted in any way. Zhao said that Blinken’s comments confirm that the United States does not care about human rights. Instead, it uses human rights as a pretext to constantly denigrate China and to hold it down. Such hypocrisy and political schemes have long been seen through by the world, Zhao said.

It is not just in the waging of constant war around the world that characterises United States behaviour. Black sites like Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba (which they refuse to vacate in defiance of Cuban sovereignty) people are arbitrarily detained for long periods without trial and subject to torture and other forms of ill treatment.

In a recent speech on the United States Administration’s approach to China, Blinken said that China poses “the most serious long-term challenge to the International order” and that the United States “must defend and reform the rules based international order.” The speech was a classic illustration of the old saying about the pot calling the kettle black. The International order that the United States touts is in fact the United States rules based international order, in which United States seeks to impose its view of the world.

Contrary to its many claims, the United States is in fact the greatest destabilising element in the world. It either withdraws from treaties or refuses to join them in the first place. For example, it has refused to sign or ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, or the Treaty on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women. It has voted against the Global Compact on Migration and the Global Compact on Refugees. It is the sole party obstructing negotiations for a verification protocol to the Biological Weapons Convention. The recent revelations about United States manufacture and use of chemical and biological weapons in Ukraine provide at least some insight into the reasons for its refusal.

Since the 1980s alone, the United States has withdrawn from 17 international organisations or treaties including the United Nations Human Rights Council, the World Health Organisation, the United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organisation, the Paris Agreement, the Iran Nuclear Deal, the Arms Trade Treaty, the Open Skies Treaty and many others.

This is the country that purports to be the arbiter of international rules and retains for itself the right to criticise others for alleged breaches. The height of hypocrisy can be seen in the United States citing the United Nations Law of the Sea to criticise other countries when it is in fact not even a party to that convention.

There are many other examples that could be quoted. I have not even begun to talk about the widespread use of unilateral sanctions upon countries such as Iran which have caused severe problems in those countries and threatened the life of people by denying them access to medical resources. All of this highlights the hypocrisy of United States actions and makes its claims of a rules-based order a total sham.

When one reviews this history, it highlights why many people feel concerned that the new Australian government has so quickly embraced the meeting of the four nations (Australia India Japan and United States) that make up a friendly anti-China alliance. Indian membership of this grouping is puzzling, given its membership of the SCO and BRICS, and its long-standing good relations with Russia, most recently personified by India’s refusal to follow the United States led consortium of mainly Western nations that condemned Russia over recent events in Ukraine.

One might hope that Australia will also recognise the futility of its anti-China stance and the Chinese government has made recent moves to improve that relationship which was severely damaged by the relentless stupidity of the previous government. The new prime minister’s apparent embrace of the Americans at the recent QUAD meeting in Japan does not augur well in this regard. The Chinese have made positive remarks and clearly they hope for an improvement in relations. Time will tell.

Both parties appear to have the full set of burnt saucepans in their respective kitchen cupboards, Must have both had the covid and lost their sense of smell. Like a bad fart, everyone else can smell it. Blame goes to both dogs!

    I can only hope that Our newly elected parliament can stand up to them both. Glad to hear WA has started to lift vaqu’ mandates. (KEEP IT UP. There is still more to do.) Tomorrow will be a full year since i lost my job and have had no income since. Finally i might be able to get a job to feed myself.
    I will have to replace my saucepans. True!!!

  2. James, excellent, accurate article. However, to hope that ANY Australian politician will see the light of day, is a very desperate hope. Since Gough Whitlam’s Labor Government, (irrespective whether you loved him or hated him, he DID have the best interests of Australia at heart IMHO) how many Australian politicians have ever stood up and publicly DISAGREED with U.S. Policy ? There has not been one Government in Australia, that actually represented the Australian people. NOT A ONE. All the politicians do these days, is follow the dictates from the White House and the City Of London to the letter. Otherwise their careers as politicians will be over in a heart beat, Something none of these scum bags would ever allow. They are there for one reason only, that is to keep the seat warm until they can retire on the lucrative pension offered at Australian taxpayer’s expense.     But we have to consider: China does not care about human rights. How easy would it be to hide their “camps” or organ donors. I don’t believe it would be possible for an envoy to be shown the organ harvesting facilities or the ‘camps’ housing political prisoners. These are kept from the locals too.

    My take is: the US relationship and the China relationship is all a pantomime. Both countries have entrenched themselves in Australia, but in different ways. I don’t think the CCP are that upset about the distraction with the US. They have infiltrated the White House; and own huge chunks of Australia’s land/business/property. They use stealth to move into dominance; the US bluster their way thru. There are whispers that Penny Wong is a facilitator. Canberra has slowly been selling off Australian sovereignty for decades, and one wonders whether it is retrievable.

    To remind the audience: We published an article on Konnech (the other/local version of Dominion voting systems). Gumshoe was sued because we asked a question: Was/is Australian voting data compromised because of Konnech’s ties to China? It was a question that they do not want asked.     According to my surveys, two thirds of Australians already knew this 20 years ago.

    But because successive Australian governments told us we were defenceless unless we shielded beneath the American umbrella, cynical stance or not, 60% of Aussies prefer to be the lapdog of the global bully to being invaded by whomever.

    This was fully understood, which also tells us we Australians are not a particularly moral lot. Nobility is most definitely not our middle name.

    Have we always been like this?

    The only real gauging evidence we have is national referendums, which suggest we had moral backbone up until 1968. We began to change in 1973 and I trace this to the Murdoch campaign to overturn the feminist movement; inverting income justice to war against men.

    By 1975, Murdoch had become the major influence on political parties and, as Paul Keating so rashly blurted on national TV, when it was evident to all that Murdoch had awarded future electoral victory to John Howard “The bastard has done a fuckin’ deal with the media”… which he understood better than anybody else as that is precisely how he stabbed Bob Hawke in the back to steal leadership, who in turn had achieved ALP leadership the same way.

    Under Murdoch’s tutelage, we have continued to plunge into the abyss of amorality and, it would seem, we are about to splatter on the floor of mRNA jabs for young children. It cannot get lower than this.

    Three factors are irrefutably evident:
    (1) The US is pushing the world to Armageddon with the Ukraine Proxy war;
    (2) Murdoch, as the central Australian pillar of the WEH/NWO/US domination (on mRNA jabs and Reset agenda), controls the information flow;
    (3) The Australian people have lost or otherwise abandoned any capacity to resist either force.

    What does O’Neill suggest we do about it? He says ‘Wait for China to improve relations’. As a PR gesture, the Shanghai lockdown suggests this ain’t gonna happen.

    This illustrates my objection to self-proclaimed or even appointed geopolitical analysts whose only clarification is of the landscape as we journey into the abyss. All they have achieved is to distract us from our necessary purpose of saving ourselves and our children.

    At this urgent point in history, the real measure of value of writers is their capacity to tell us how we can reverse the plunge and rescue our children, our nation, and our planet.

    If anybody has a better idea, please spell it out now, because all I see is FIGHT. We have to fight for our survival or die. I am waiting for your inspiration, James. Do you support my conclusion or not? If you can offer a better strategy, I will folow.

There’s another issue at hand here too, and that is the claim of “organ donors”. We have read and watched videos of alleged victims of this process in PALESTINE./ISRAEL being conducted by the Israelis. Much factual evidence has surfaced from victims left alive with half their organs, dead people returned to their relatives for burial, missing body organs, yet not a squeak of concern for this atrocious behaviour by the Israelis. Why is that ? We also have verified, and similar proven claims made by victims in Ukraine, long before this war started, yet again, not a squeak against the practice. So to stand on a soap box and point the finger at the Chinese, without ANY FACTUAL VERIFIABLE EVIDENCE to sustain such a claim, only damages your own creditability.     • They are getting ready for an immigration onslaught, probably a big part of why the ALP was installed at the last so-called election. Dutton is there to turn off the tap in three years.
      The only political figures I am prepared to take seriously on the matter of the election are minor party leaders especially Palmer who can afford lawyers.
      Another nifty manoeuver delegated to the ALP was the addition of Law Dept’s to TAFE colleges which gave them University status, this was done in the Hawke / Keating period.

The meanings of words are regulated in a way that excludes commoners, for example I was looking yesterday at a situation where they use the word tenant to mean a house owner. They create a parallel language, as if English wasn’t shambolic enough, they drop English grammar from school and encourage the next generation to completely lose their grip on grammar so they have no idea of the difference between me, myself, I or should, could, would etc. The career path now is McDonalds, Woolworths, Bunnings, then into some niche trade like re-grouting showers if they are smart enough. 3rd world stuff, so we need the skilled migrants now for the good jobs, bringing about Globalist minion Bob Hawke’s “Clever Country”.

      • Dear Criss Cross, I know you will never listen to me and you are set-in-concrete on the Jews being the problem, but just for a minute, try this argument out:

        The excessive number of Jews on the above list could mean 2 things other than “the Jews are running the show.” To wit:

        It may be that persons “of Jewish blood” have an excellent ability to do what they are told. Hence, even if it is, say, Greeks who are running the show, they are happy to “use” jews in office.
        It may be that the Ruritanaians are runing the show, and they hope to keep everyone off the scent so they fill the board with Jews KNOWING THAT MOST FOLKS NOWADAYS WILL DEDUCE THAT THEREFORE JEWS ARE RUNNING THE SHOW.

        Personally I feel that the excessive use of imprisonment for Holocaust deniers is not something Jews want, AS IT DOES INDEED MAKE THEM LOOK BAD. I would bet money that then entire gig of “Let’s punish holocaust deniers” is coming from somewhere outside Jewry. In Germany, it’s the Germans doing it. Ask: Why????

        That said, I remain open to all possibliltes, including “the jews are runniing the show.”

        By the way, Criss, since it is patent that Kissinger ran big parts of the show, may I ak you, do you think he did it as part of a Jewish thing?

        • ocd767 has a grudge about a strip mall being overwhelmed by a near-by aircon mall, the jews had been getting finance for some of these, but some are also owned by AMP and we have one here owned by the A-rabs, which is quite heavily invested in, and in the rich area. So it leaves me to surmise that ocd767 was operating a business from the strip mall and it was destroyed by the canny jews, who were onto the next big fashion, but it could have just as easily been AMP or some other investment outfit. They’re all awful.
          The jews were made a target first by pharaoh and later when given rights to usury by the pope, 900 years ago. When post-Roman Empire usury took off, that is presumably giving bills of exchange for gold etc., crypto-jews had to be brought in to represent the major interests, eg royalty. In the same way the royalty uses politicians as a front ( remember the house of lords in England is hereditary, the house of commoners is an engineered front, and it’s called HM Government, or similar ). The actual jews meanwhile are no better or worse than any other race but they develop a thicker skin, and bond better with each other in this constant atmosphere of low-level animosity. So when discussing jews one should take the trouble to identify the crypto-jews as opposed to real jews. They are all mixed together now I would say thanks to Zionist incursions into Judea and diasporas before that.
          Migration was a natural thing 1000 and more years ago and gradually we have fenced ourselves in, since 2020 we have been locked in. Races from the frozen north migrated out when conditions worsened. Jews migrate the same as anyone and they seem to bring up their kids carefully, with a sense of discipline and focus. So there is a “tall poppy” element in there too. But people would be wiser not to hate but to emulate the jews, and keep their kids close, and teach them discipline, such as study or work, and to harden up a bit. There’s no point sitting in a puddle of your own bitterness and complaining your tail is wet.

    • No! Violence begets violence. Just look around. It’s still here in abundance and love is gone….and I’d probably been executed anyway just for non-compliance.That’s not to say i have never put up a defence. I’m still here with all my arms and legs and both eyes and ears.
      Someone gave me a gun once after a particularly significant incident, bless them, but i gave it to the police. Is that weakness or strength???
      A certain chocolatier patron once claimed “the pen is mightier than the sword” but then decided a gun may be even mightier. He’s not here anymore. Man!

  26. Those who sell ‘high’, just before a crash at peak market prices, a few days later these same people clean up and buy low. The only ones that lose money are workers.
    Or they start wars, invading nations. Or they shift all manufacturing to CCP, importing cheap low quality goods and services. Worn down in making ends meets from week to week, people are unable to face the propaganda, lies and deceptions.
    Stealing tax payers money making bombs, guns, tanks etc. Trillions $ that could be handled by our mass simply to live, are given to the military industrial complex. We are told wars are necessary for peace, devolving to never ending war since 1914.
    Most history has been re-written and is now accepted as ‘fact’ in the ‘new normal’.
