I have just returned from the movie theatres after watching THE TRUST FALL: JULIAN ASSANGE. It’s a well-produced film (maybe a little long) exposing the saga of trying to decimate a journalist. When the last 14 years are crushed into two hours, it’s a reminder of the disconnect between politicians, the war machine …and the people.
“Despite being detained, silenced and hidden from public view in maximum security Belmarsh Prison, multi-award-winning Australian journalist and publisher Julian Assange has become one of the loudest voices for free speech of our times. The disclosures of WikiLeaks from 2010 ignited a firestorm of controversy and a relentless ongoing pursuit by the most powerful state on the planet.” Written and directed by Tim Staton.
It’s well worth a movie ticket and letters to Australian politicians.
Well worthy of attention
Still well worthy of attention
Also well worthy of our attention: much to learn here.

“Australia is the crime scene”
“A West Bank where they steal all their resources and all their wealth for what they do around the world
America is the same. Britain is the worst of them all. They are the heart of it all. They are the colonisers.”
This also deserves a second look:

No question in my mind that said phenomena goes to the fact that, on a world-wide scale, Maoris managed to deal with colonisation relatively well.
In other words they managed to steer relatively clear of the incumbent victim ethos
Interesting that NZ was foreseen as a safe-haven for the inevitable/impending “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” by both
