Worrying Similarity Between Corona Virus and HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus)

We may as well cut to the chase here. The question is: Does the current threat of a corona virus epidemic look like a “laboratory accident” or even a full-fledged genocide? Our contributor, who writes undercover as G5, already raised this in an article dated 29 January 2020.

A few days ago he wrote in an email:

“The current Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is common in many of its forms, not related to Rhinovirus, and is a weaponized variant. It is related to The SARS and MERS biological weapons.”

Dr Alan Cantwell, MD (author of AIDS and the Doctors of Death, and Queer Blood,  about the AIDS genocide of gay men) forwarded a study to Mary Maxwell, entitled the “uncanny similarity of unique inserts in the 2019-nCoV spike protein to HIV-1 gp120 and Gag | bioRxiv.” 

This morning, G5 sent another email, commenting on the same study.

G5 made the following remarks (in his usual way):

“These organisms don’t mutate in these complexities on their own. The papers written about the formation of HIV alone, are extraordinary.

“The US has been playing about since the 1950s when they saved the arses of Mengele and others. It’s tragic. And very few understand any of this. We of course are the insane ones. Because we question.

“The alleged education and occupation of young minds on idiocies has destroyed the foundations of early thinking. ‘Give me the child until it is seven and…’

“The US Intel Apparatus was funded by enormous amounts of gold (Goering, Yamashita) just after WWII. It had larger assets and reserves than the nation states that were looted combined.   I met one Philippine op. who had seen the eight main caches that Marcos had given MacArthur. It was literally Shipped to US domestic bunkers under CIA control.

“Not to mention the Swiss Repositories. Literally warehouses of pallets of metals and 999 coins. Then the US from 1981 under the control of NAZI GHWB began cornering the world wholesale drug trade. They have that.

“The current owner is the CIA Consortium with The Usual Suspects. A crime riddled mafia like no other.  (I laugh when I see the absurd moral and legalistic lengths to allegedly combat crime. The heroes and those who believe have no idea. It is beyond a parallel world.)”

The Study

Dr Alan Cantwell forwarded this study to us this morning. It is by nine scientists — Prashant Pradhan et al.

The Abstract says:

“We are currently witnessing a major epidemic caused by the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019- nCoV). The evolution of 2019-nCoV remains elusive. We found 4 insertions in the spike glycoprotein (S) which are unique to the 2019-nCoV and are not present in other coronaviruses.”

“Importantly, amino acid residues in all the 4 inserts have identity or similarity to those in the HIV-1 gp120 or HIV-1 Gag. Interestingly, despite the inserts being discontinuous on the primary amino acid sequence, 3D-modelling of the 2019-nCoV suggests that they converge to constitute the receptor binding site.

“The finding of 4 unique inserts in the 2019-nCoV, all of which have identity /similarity to amino acid residues in key structural proteins of HIV-1 is unlikely to be fortuitous in nature.

“This work … sheds light on the evolution and pathogenicity of this virus with important implications for diagnosis of this virus.”  [Bolding added.]

As part of the conclusion, the authors write,

“…This is startling as it is quite unlikely for a virus to have acquired such unique insertions [in Spike proteins] naturally in a short duration of time.”

Comments  Under the Prashant Pradhan Article

The following comments  come from an online periodical from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory named “bioRxiV — preprint server for biology — not yet peer reviewed.” One of them calls for retraction of the paper. Note: the word “edited” below does not mean edited by Gumshoe.

I BlastPed the region that spans the first 2 “insertions”, and found no so called insertions at all in the alignments with other bat-cov viruses. On the contrary the alignments showed very natural diversities around the two ”insertion” regions.

The two “insertions” are obviously products of evolution，not engineered artifacts！ Furthermore even human has huge number of proteins that are homologous with those of vegetables so why it is a surprise that there are short homologous regions between 2 viruses

Can someone please explain why these “inserts” (wherever they’re from, HIV or other species) form a conformational cluster when the protein is folded? What’s more, does this conformational cluster have a physiological function, i.e., a binding site? Please, someone with expertise help explain this

There was bat virus = A
There’s now ncov19 = B

The difference between A and B rna is the insertion/addition of 4 sequences
These 4 sequences are present in HIV
They are also present in some related bat stuff and also not that uncommon generally

There is also an artefact of the complexity of this stuff that a possible and previously seen (1919 flu) change in a very small common sequence can precipitate the rest
We don’t know the correlations there

What I’d like an opinion on is — How likely is it that the change from A to B happened in such a time frame commensurate with the emergence of B purely as an organic process

Can I get a breakdown of probabilities (what u guys call ‘E values’)

We really ought to be given the ‘E value’ of the BLAST hits to the HIV sequences in order to determine the actual “unlikely[hood]” of the 2019-nCov matching the HIV-1 inserts. That is the very reason the E-value exists. The fact of 100% coverage means little if there is an abundance of hits with 95% coverage for example – in this case the E value would be high

The study shows something interesting, but the title is just exaggeration. Furthermore, if you look at Table 1, the inserts are not so similar to HIV proteins except insert 1 and 2. Also these inserts have been found in the bat virus (Fig. S2). But these findings has potential to explain the contagiousness of this new virus.

Interesting observations and discussion below, requires further inquiry. Things to keep in mind: (1) Blasting each insert individually unsurprisingly identifies multiple hits. But I am unable to find any virus besides HIV-1 that contains ALL FOUR inserts in their totality together (in the gp120 and gag proteins).

This can be confirmed at both the nucleotide and amino acid levels. This, to my mind, changes the probability calculus and requires further study to understand the basis of these findings.

(2) A great deal of weight is being placed on this single uploaded sequence (RaTG13, QHR63300.1), stated to be from 2013 Yunnan bat feces, deposited by the Wuhan Institute of Virology on 1/29/20. Clearly it will improve confidence in the scientific community if the provenance of this one critical linking sequence can be independently verified as an actual, naturally-occurring sequence isolated as stated in 2013 from bat feces.

(3) Interestingly, the nucleotide sequences of inserts 2 and 3 in RaTG13 are identical to those in the 2019-nCoV virus, not even a single synonymous substitution since 2013. This strikes me as intriguing and indeed worthy of further study. …

I think their findings are interesting and merit further scientific investigation. Specifically, because of its novelty, we still have quite a low number of nCoV samples sequenced and, given the virus’ high mutation rate and given the intrinsic variability of genome editing techniques, it would be interesting to see if more sequence data would come up that potentially further underscores this proposed connection to HIV. The fact that this connection, if weak, has been found so early after the first discovery/sequencing of the virus is astounding.

The link you include says explicitly that there is no sequence homology between the two. They are using HIV as an example to compare modes of entry into host cells. They work similarly, but use completely different proteins. So they propose using a treatment working from the CoV sequence analogous to an HIV treatment that uses its corresponding sequence.

  3. I don’t have any expertise in this field of genetics, thus I don’t have the ability to look at the science and know, ‘that’s total bullshit’ or ‘that’s possible, but not probable’. Tentatively, I’m in the camp that this is not natural, but is a bio-weapon. However, does it really matter at this point?

    The virus is loose on the world, whether it was cooked up in a lab or in the feces of bats in a cave, is irrelevant from our perspective – we have the task of surviving the virus and its’ aftermath.

    I have a window of time today that I can spend in a hospital waiting room thumbing through old magazines or I can go shopping for more supplies – I’m going to lay in more supplies.

    • While the wife was in surgery, I picked up 6 more grocery bags of various long term food. I figure I have more than 2 months worth of food on hand at this point. I’ll probably get some more, I can always use it up if nothing happens.

    1) calling out a lie is always a lot easier than nailing down the truth
    2) nothing ever hits the headlines unless some sort of glitch appears in some reigning agenda or other
    3) globalisation has made quarantine virtually impossible

A ‘virus’ is an organism, that unlike bacterial infections, is difficult to eliminate due to the virus directly affecting the immune system into shutting down, and is an infection that seems to be tailor made to do a specific job through DNA manipulation. Nearly all recorded pandemics have been initiated by the ‘virus’.

    So if this virus is tailor made for a specific purpose, who has this DNA knowledge and means to effectively manipulate DNA so as to produce pandemics when required, and has had this knowledge for a very long time?

    Is this latest ‘pandemic’ just a coincidence with what Trump is achieving in closing down the old petro-dollar economic/central Banking system and bringing China into line as being less militarily aggressive, and more world trade friendly, while he rebuilds the American economy, military and middle class? If this pandemic is no coincidence, then who or what is responsible for the unleashing of such a virulent strain of Corona and for what purpose/s?

    Why has the Communist Chinese government refused Trump’s offer to send an expert medical team into China to assist in combating this latest ‘pandemic’ that Trump is confident will bring an end to? Why has China appealed to the E.U. for assistance while rejecting Trump’s offer? The E.U. at this time has no medical team equipped to combat, let alone defeat the Corona like the Americans have? So why refuse urgent assistance?

    Who really controls China?

    ‘Q’ followers would already have the answer to all the above as Trump already knows, and has the knowledge, that all will end well.

  7. Don’t hate me for wasting readers’ precious time but I just had an amazing experience. I was reading the Dryden translation of Virgil’s Aeneid which is written in dactylic hexameter. Then I went to Gumshoe and read Nemesis’s comment which sounded the same, as though written in dactylic hexameter. Wow. Check this out:

        a shortage of taxis’ to get people to hospital
        a shortage of testing kits in the hospital
        only one “foreign” journalist (i.e., from Hongers) whose boss won’t let him venture out of his hotel.

        I am thinking that the CCP will be ordering grave-digging. Also thinking that the problem of disposing of decomposing bodies may (happily) prevent other “leaders” from causing a virus genocide.

  12. This CNN article states the mortality rate is 2%. However, when you add up all the ‘reported’ resolved cases of DIED and RECOVERED you get 851 cases, 362 deaths divided by total resolved cases of 851 gives a mortality rate of 42.5%. I wonder where they get the 2% figure from.

    Also nice to know that you can cure the virus with a shot of whisky and honey…

  13. OK, I just had my math checked by a graduate of ‘Common Core’. He said my figures are wrong because I didn’t take into account all the other people who had caught the virus and still had it.

    I told him if they still had the virus then the jury was still out whether they would live or die. He said, “They’re still alive, that’s the point, you have to add them in to the figures.” I asked, “Do you think at least some of them may die?” He said, “Not really, we don’t know what will happen.” I replied, “And that’s why we use the RESOLVED cases to get an idea of what will happen to them.” – This type of conversation continued on and on in circles until I just gave up.

    Perhaps CNN is also using ‘Common Core’ mathematics to compute the mortality rate. Or, maybe they are adding in ALL the people in China that haven’t caught the virus (they’re still alive!) who knows how they compute their figures.

    I swear humans are becoming more stupid by the day.

    • Terry I agree people are becoming more stupid by the day. The other day I was shopping and I saw that Chux have made some sponges, packaged with the word ‘collections’ on it. People collect sponges? Should I buy it in case it appreciates in value over the coming years? How much should I insure it for? So many pressing questions!
      It is right up there with companies advertising ‘New Look Pack’ on their products. Or Coca Cola plastering names over their bottles of watered down cordial. Apparently these gimmicks work otherwise they wouldn’t be doing them?

        Data lines are slowly updating but many Chinese provinces still have not updated.

        Cases: 14,530 (+28%)
        Deaths: 305 (+18%)
        Recovered: 340

        Deaths/Cases: 2.10%
        Deaths/(Deaths+Recovered): 47.29%

        OK, so the official death rate is around 47%, basically 1 out of every 2.

        And now we know where CNN got their 2% figure, it is deaths/cases! Way to go CNN, the MORE cases of the virus, the LOWER your death rate – LOL!

  15. Before Wuhan province was put into lockdown, 5 million people fled in anticipation of the lockdown. If even just 1% of those people are affected, that’s 50,000 cases spreading this virus into other cities.
    This will have major ramifications to China’s and indeed the world economy.

  20. There is little one can do to avoid corona. I live in a remote part of Australia but, yesterday, I postponed a road construction due to bad weather, and the operator favoured the decision by also noting his lung infection. It later transpired that he had just returned from Taiwan. I wonder if his doctor was aware of this. Probably not. Meanwhile, if i cease to annoy Gumshoe readers in 14 days time, It was nice knowing you all. Become hermits.

  27. Take a look how people are getting boarded-up in their houses in China. If you are confirmed as having the virus, you get locked in.

    They want everyone quarantined “until the virus runs its course”. Since having the virus usually necessitates some serious medical intervention, then getting locked in to your house (whether or not you have supplies) would likely be a death sentence. I can understand why people freak out when the authorities arrive to weld shut their door.

    I’ve also read stories of “terrible smells” in apartment buildings, which is a likely reference to decomposing residents.

  30. I just did the calculations on the mortality rate with those figures. It came out to 98.9%. That is higher than the Ebola rate of 90%. Perhaps it may be more fatal to East Asians, who knows at this point.

    Crikey, if those figures are correct, then this is an extinction level event for the modern world. No wonder the media is trying to spin it and the authorities are trying to contain it.

    Got to give credit to the scientists, when they develop a bio-weapon they don’t mess around.

    Along comes October of 2019 and the John Hopkins University runs a seminar that is ‘predictive programming’ of the actual attack. In late 2019 the virus is released in Wuhan – it is the exact same strain that has been stolen from the West. Plausible deniability, the Chinese did it to themselves from an accidental release at the lab at Wuhan – AND the virus is targeted toward East Asians.

From SMH today 26 Feb: “The government has the power to fast-track approvals if an effective vaccine is discovered, and mobilise a national immunisation plan.” The same article quotes Professor Nigel McMillan, director of Infectious Diseases and Immunology at Griffith University: “[But] we don’t wish to induce panic food or petrol stockpiling…when for 95% of the population, this will be a mild cold,”. I have NO background that helps me understand ‘disease’, but surely this begs the questions: what penalties if you refuse the vax? Is this another case of govt making decisions for us?
