Sad to say, there are several kinds of torture being conducted today in various parts of the ‘civilized’ world. There must be something we can do to stop this. Luckily, the percentage of folks who remain in ignorance of it is shrinking. Words like ‘MK-Ultra” and “Gitmo” are in common parlance now.

Janine Jones of New Zealand is a bit of an odd example. On the one hand, she has not been giving interviews during the four decades of her torture; she has mostly just borne it out. But conversely, her torturer – Jose Delgado — did not shrink from publicity; he boasted about the methods of brain-control that he invented. (“All for the good of mankind, you know.”)

Ms Jones, now in her seventies, has finally come out with an autobiography. The title is “From Cradle to Grave: Untold Story of Brain Implants, Cybernetics, and Trauma.”  Of the various kinds of torture she has received, probably the best-known type is targeting. That means she is a Targeted Individual – a “TI.”

Two things usually go with targeting. One is general harassment, e.g., your home heater gets ‘accidentally’ disconnected, or your bank ‘loses’ your account. The other involves friendship problems. That is, people who were in your life for years and appeared friendly now turn their back on you or, worse, spread lies about you.

That may lead the reader to think “Well, Janine might simply be paranoid.” I guess a few of the incidents could be coincidental. The disconnecting of a heater could be the work of your cat or dog, right?  But in this book, the author goes to some trouble to produce evidence for her claims. Luckily, she has X-rays proving that objects were inserted medically (read: ‘legally’) into her brain.

So why was she chosen? Sometimes a Targeted Individual has no idea of what he/she did to deserve such punishment. (And in fact, it does seem that some are randomly chosen for experimental purposes.)  But Janine’s story is elaborate. Her adoptive parents were upper class – invited to Royal Family galas in Wellington, NZ.  Possibly the Mum was infertile, and they decided to adopt and raise one child. Where did that child come from?

Eventually Janine came to find out, by accident, that her birth family was from Samoa. A classmate said “I have seen another girl who looks just like you and talks just like you.” The adopting Mum then assisted her in finding that family.  It involved a very colorful trip to Samoa where she found out that her birth father was a highly prestigious person.

But neither set of parents provided information as to her earliest days in the hospital in Wellington, in 1949.  Someone did the insertion of a Delgado stimo-ceiver into the baby’s brain. Once that was in place, she was a sitting duck for targeting, as she could be located. (I guess GPS was already in use in 1949.)

I said above that Janine Jones has had four decades (going on five decades) of torture, But these did not start at birth. Rather, the Powers That Be let her live a carefree life until her thirties. Then the ’fun’ began. One clear signal involved being threatened in a parking lot with others aiming their car at her.

After a while it also involved electronic hits. Someone outside her house was able to penetrate the walls. I suspect he could see her, as he knew how to aim accurately at her feet and give them a painful shock.  He could also put on quite a show of lights. These frightening attacks continue even today.

I was aware of such stuff from reading two books by Mary Efrosini Gregory: “Microwave War: The Government’s Preparation for the Police State and the Extension of Empire” (talk about prescient!) in 2010, and the next year “Microwave Experiment: A Story of Microwave Testing on a United States Customs Officer” — namely, Mary Gregory herself.

Living in Queens New York, Mary was an expert record keeper. She even wrote down which sounds she heard when planes were passing overhead going toward JFK Airport. And how she would then find marks on her aluminum bedspread indicating some sort of radiation. (No, she is not a science-fiction writer and in fact her previously published books were about the Greek classics.)

I believe and trust Mary Gregory and Janine Jones, both of whom I have communicated with. In fact, I’m pretty sure neither of them would know how to tell a lie.

To date, neither has completely found out what the torture was for. I said that Delgado boasted about mind-controlling people by sending instructions straight into the brain, but Ms Jones and Ms Gregory did not suffer that. They suffered electronic hits.

They did not get any help or sympathy — each has led a very ‘alone’ existence. Needless to say they would expect folks to disbelieve them, even with physical proof.   (Note: I think it’s possible that Ms Gregory is now deceased, as she does not reply to my emails.)

But I have just phoned Janine and she is “OK.” I’m sure she would appreciate your reading her book, and “working on it.”  Luckily there is now a group called “Targeted Justice” that wants to crack down on this cruelty. The lawyer in charge of the group, Ana Toledo, is also a victim and “doesn’t feel like putting up with it anymore, thank you.”

Come on, give these persons a round of applause for tolerating such meddling into their lives — and for documenting it all so that we, the lucky ones, can do our duty. By the way, the sort of “beaming” that Janine and Mary endured has got some connection to Havanna syndrome which is now, finally, being investigated.
