According to the Cambridge Dictionary, “asshole” is defined as an unpleasant or stupid

person. The “use it in a sentence” offering in that dictionary is: “Some asshole had parked so I couldn’t get out.”

We can all relate to that, can’t we? Life is going on intelligently and then some selfish bastard — a.k.a. idiot – creates trouble for no reason. No reason except that he is too stupid to care. He is an undeveloped human being. He is an asshole.

I am sooo tired of assholes. Let me identify three levels of assholeness that are present on the landscape today.

Level One

The first – because they are so visible – are our “leaders.” Picture this: Biden. Picture this: Netanyahu.  Picture this: Pope Francis (fake name chosen by his public relations manager to make us associate him with Bird Man of Assisi).

Oh sorry my dear fellow Catholics, have I offended you? How so? Do you want me to pretend a person is good because they got the white-smoke routine? Is that what would cause a man to rise to the position of Christ’s vicar on Earth?  Oh dear.

Where – oh where – is the leader who got the position by caring for his/her people? Where is the leader who is furious – out-of-his-mind-furious – that there are major fires in food-processing plants these last two months and no one is even talking about it much less getting on top of the problem.

Level Two

I’ll now propose the second level of A-holeness. It’s the bosses at the top. I can name Bill Gates and Albert Bourla (head of Pfizer), and whoever is the head of, say, Boeing or Raytheon. But even they aren’t the top top top. Kissinger turned a hundred the other day – probably thinks he is too divine to die. But I suspect there is a layer above all those guys.

There’s a chance that my phrase “the bosses at the top top top” is conceptually flawed. Possibly it all runs in some sort of synchrony without hierarchy.  Dee McLachlan thinks it’s an algorithm.

I read in a book from the 1940s that the OSS of that day (Office of Strategic Services, or something like that, mostly British) really meant “Oh So Social.” All the Upper Class are in on it — the idea being that if you feel entitled you will do whatever seems to be the order of the day, in order to keep the entitlement afloat.

In fact you will kill to make that happen, and since you have found killing to be fun you may also do it for sport. If we are to believe books of Ancient History, the Romans really did throw Christians to the lions. And ordinary folks were invited to watch. They went, they brought popcorn.

Level Three

So now to the third layer, the ordinary humans.  Which is to say, us.

In my opinion, we are all behaving like assholes. Or at least like the proverbial lemmings. I’ll bet if someone told us to do something really unhealthy right now, we’d do it, because of an instinct to follow the norm.  Honest, that trait is our downfall. WE NEED TO EFFING FORSAKE IT.

When living in prehistoric society, the leaders couldn’t get us to do something really stupid because there was nothing really stupid to do. Followership was not fatal. It doesn’t ever seem to be fatal in bird species either, does it? One bird in the flock, maybe the one with experience of last year’s migration route, starts to fly thither and the others with nary a hesitation follow her. It works.

But today (October 21, 2023) I saw on TV that 10,000 US military have just landed in Saudi. Arabia, probably to hit Iran.  Betcha that’s not healthy.

Raise hands anyone who understands that the last several wars between an “X” and a “Y” did not really reflect a desire of the X population to have a go at the Y population. Ah, very good. The astute among us realize that there is a “Z” somewhere who coordinates the X-Y war.

At a Subconscious Level

I pause a moment to quote Emanual Goldstein, a character in Orwell’s 1984 who knew how the world really works.  He said the wars between Eurasia and Oceania had to be stoked every 4 years or so in order to keep the public’s eyes off the fact that the rich were rich and that there was no real reason for the poor not to simply skin the rich alive or whatever they felt would be appropriate.

Note: I guess it can’t be ruled out that the top rich assholes have gone batty and are now publicly admitting that they mean to do a complete land grab. If that isn’t pathetic, ask What is pathetic? I hereby advise them to watch out!

(I didn’t mean that their going public about their real estate dreams is pathetic; that degree of public acknowledgement may help the rest of us. I meant that their felt need to sit on kazillions of acres of land is just sad. And it would be me doing the same – or you doing the same – if we were way, way up there. It’s a human trait. Assholery for the Alpha’s. A natural outgrowth of simple greed.)

Becoming Conscious and Maybe Even Clever

Didn’t I learn somewhere in Grade 12 that the Greeks and Romans put paid to assholery? Honestly, weren’t we taught that “men” (it was definitely a male theme) could study a situation and work out what’s the best thing to do for society? I could swear I heard that somewhere.

Picture Aristotle and Plato tuning in to CNN tonight and watching the talking heads interpret the great crisis of the Israel/Palestine clash. (Which, we now know, is not an X-Y war but just the standard Z caper.) In their day, these two guys would have limited their concern to what’s best for Greece. That’s another human instinct that is sooo ingrained. But if you asked them to consider the greater good, they could easily stretch their mind for that assignment.

Their dear brains could go from instinct to. … wait for it … Reason!

And if their dear brain could do it, so could ours.

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion

Since at least the 1780s, when Captain Cook was shoring up in Australia and the Americans were composing their Constitution, the Z element has been influential (maybe even determinative). I mean “Z” as the party that can stand outside a situation and decide that millions of folks are to meet their fate, as scripted by Z.

If you read the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, which first appeared in Russian and was translated to English around 1906, you will get the perfect idea of a Z. Whoever wrote it must have had fabulous understanding of how to control society. The use of fear, of creating strife, and of killing off anyone who broke secrecy was important. But taking away Reason was surely central.

And for this, Propaganda must have pride of place. Allow me to tell an anecdote. When I moved from US to Australia, four decades ago, I heard people use the word “dear” to mean “expensive.” “Nope, can’t buy that, it’s too dear.” I was appalled. For me, dearness is a precious quality, unrelated to money.  I would never, never say “Such and such is too dear.”

One day it popped out. I said “too dear.” Popped out is the word for it; the was no decision made by my conscious brain. So how did it happen? I guess it happened because we are programmed to take in anything that is said enough times around us. “Vaccines are safe and effective.  Vaccines are safe and effective. Vaccines are safe and effective.”

Surely they must be safe and effective, why else would one constantly hear that remar?

The Protocols are full of instructions about propaganda. At the time they were published, folks were not yet living in a full-on consumer society. So the Protocols don’t say a lot about “advertising.” But eventually material goods and gadgets became all encompassing.

I think consumerism is almost as suitable as engaging in a Eurasia-Oceania war, to keep us distracted. Why force your brain to use Reasoning when you could just buy this, that, and the other thing?  Oh, and first check to see if it comes with the best Reward points.

The Israel War of the Moment

One of the persons running in the 2024 US presidential race (besides myself) is Marianne Williamson. She is very smart and balanced and goes in for love and spirituality. So I pressed the button on YouTube to see what she was saying about the current crisis.

As with all politicians (but Marianne is not the politician type), she took the side of Israel against the Invaders. And said – I’m paraphrasing – “Don’t worry, I realize Israel has to fight the invaders just as we had to fight Al-Qaeda.”

WHAT?  Does she accept the 19 hijacker tale? Does she really think there is an “Al Qaeda”?  Hasn’t she heard that Britain’s Speaker of the House Robin Cook got killed for telling us that the name Al Qaeda is a code for some sort of Anglo-American interference in the Arab world?

Doesn’t she know that Zbigniew Brzezinski – God forgive him – arranged for us to train the Mujahadin, and that he boasted of it? Or that Rep Tulsi and Sen Paul introduces a bill entitled “The Stop Arming the Terrorists Act?”

No seriously, does she think we hit Afghanistan because they were hiding CIA asset Osama bin Laden?  I am sorry to pick on Marianne Williamson. She was my fave Dem candidate up until today. Most likely she is not lying – she really thinks we were fighting Al Qaeda.

This is terrible. Hers should be among the calming voices. Actually she did say we should be calm. But it would accomplish more calming if she said “Excuse me, Assholes, what is happening in the Middle Est – and Hawaii – is revealed by the feature known as Stand Down.”

When the Hamas puppets (trained to be Terrorists) broke through the fence, IDF soldiers should have been there before you could say Jack Robinson. But no.  They were stood down for hours. On the island of Maui, as everybody knows, there was every indication that the fires were pre-planned. All the standard helpers were stood down.

Israel knowingly allowed its people (and visitors to a music festival near the fence) to get killed. I don’t know if Hamas actually beheaded babies, as is claimed, but if they did it was – I’m employing Reasoning here – done by Bibi.   Biden, Bibi, Gates, the Pope, Murdoch, whomever. They are making fools of us more and more each day.

An are getting away with it.

When will it stop?  When will you stop it?

When will you deploy your neurons?

Go on. I dare ya. I double dare ya.

    One correction, if I may…. R soles are useful and necessary for healthy bodily function.
    I recall a U.S. tourist was staying in high ranking London gentlemen’s club.
    He found himself seated in the members reading lounge a short distance to some knight of the realm lunging and reading the obituaries in The Time ….. it was a Sir Humphrey, I recall.
    Anyway, the visitor was impatient with the waiter who was slow in delivering his whisky, so he muttered to himself …. Paraphrasing: “ This fn country, London is a rsole of a place”.

  13. I think Australia should have a civil war, everyone against NSW and ACT, possibly WA could stay neutral since it’s the real economy. The civil war could provide an excuse not to go into AUKUS mode and join the WW3 efforts of the owned politicians. To make it more convincing, the army could blow the shit out of Canberra, bomb it back to the stone age.     The Controversy of Zion

    This controversy is one of the major themes of Scripture throughout history. It appears again in Ezekiel 35, 36, where we find that the descendants of Esau-Edom (or Idumea) coveted the land and rejoiced when Israel and Judah went into captivity. Divine judgment is thus pronounced “against all Edom, who appropriated My land for themselves as a possession” (Ezekiel 36:5).

    Isaiah 34:8, KJV, calls it “the controversy of Zion,” speaking of divine judgment against Edom. Historically, about 126 B.C. the Judean leader, John Hyrcanus, conquered Idumea (Edom) and forced them to convert to Judaism. Josephus wrote about this and concluded by saying, “they were hereafter no other than Jews” (Antiquities of the Jews, XIII, ix, 1). The Jewish Encyclopedia says “from this time the Idumeans ceased to be a separate people,” for they were absorbed into Jewry. This meant that the prophecies of Judah and Edom were bound together.

    1948 + 70 year jubilee

    Malachi 1:1-4 prophesies of this controversy, showing the Zionist motives of Esau. Verse 4 says,

    4 Though Edom says, “We have been beaten down, but we will return and build up the ruins”; thus says the Lord of hosts, “They may build, but I will tear down; and men will call them the wicked territory, and the people toward whom the Lord is indignant forever.”

    This is a prophecy of modern Zionism in the past century. The spirit of Edom has worked within world Jewry, saying, “we will return.” God does not refute this, but says only that “I will tear down.” If Edom had not returned and rebuilt the ruins, God would have nothing to tear down, so the establishment of the Israeli state was inevitable.

    The establishment of the Israeli state was the fulfillment of Isaac’s blessing upon Esau, for at that time Esau received the dominion and took the birthright name Israel for itself………….

    Próspera’s investors want to be compensated by the Honduran people for their democratic decision to overturn a 2013 law enabling the creation of special economic zones known as ‘ZEDEs’.

    Sold to foreign investors as a crypto-libertarian paradise, these zones were granted autonomy from the national government creating spaces where companies can abuse workers rights, ignore international agreements and extract the nation’s wealth into bank accounts in tax havens.

    The country is now facing a total of seven international investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) claims from different corporations. Próspera Inc. alone is suing the government for a sum of $10.7 billion: two-thirds of Honduras’s planned budget for 2023.

    That is why the Progressive International is mobilizing to Honduras: to hear directly from the communities affected by the ZEDEs, to draw international attention to the crime of corporate colonialism, and to support the government of President Xiomara Castro to defeat it.
