More Stupid Following of the Americans into a War in Ukraine

Recent foreign policy pronouncements by the Australian government confirm that they are following the precedents set by the unlamented Liberal government that preceded them. One statement, in particular, stands out, and that is the pronouncement by Penny Wong the foreign minister that Australia is to continue its support for the Ukrainian government.

In pursuing that line, the Australian government is following the Americans who are using the war in Ukraine as a means to diminish the Russian government. Before looking at that particular war, it is worth reflecting on the United States conduct since World War II, none of which attracted the opposition from the Australian government that may be seen in that government’s attitude toward the Russian intervention.

In several recent documents, the record of the United States government has been exposed. It is worth noting in this context that none of the government actions attracted criticism from Australia, led to threats to cancel diplomatic representation in Canberra, or caused any criticism to be uttered by successive Australian governments.

In many cases, Australia willingly joined in United States’ attacks against foreign countries. Although they have finally withdrawn from their 20-year involvement in the United States-led attack on Afghanistan, Australian troops remain in Iraq. In that case, the Iraqi government demanded that all foreign troops should leave. After listening to their United States allies, Australia simply refused to abide by the Iraqi request and their troops continue that occupation to the present day.

It will be recalled that the original claim made against Iraq and its leader Saddam Hussain was that he possessed “weapons of mass destruction” that he was refusing to relinquish, thereby posing a threat to all his neighbours. That allegation rapidly proved to be a lie. Did the Americans, Australians and others apologise and withdraw? No, they did not. As in the case of neighbouring Syria, the United States continues to steal Iraq’s oil and retain the income from its sale. That Australia should be a party to this ongoing theft is an enduring disgrace.

Similar historical blindness permeates Australia’s involvement in the war in Ukraine. It is completely overlooked by the Australian media that in 2014 and again in 2015 a settlement was reached between Ukraine and the two Donbass republics about the status of those republics. The French and Germans were also parties to that settlement. Over the next eight years the Ukrainians simply ignored their obligations under the settlement. They have now admitted that they had no intention of complying with their obligations. None of this is reported in the Australian media.

The Ukrainians have systematically discriminated against the people of the Donbas, including the recent forbidding of the official use of the Russian language which is spoken by 80% of the population of that region. Similarly ignored in the Australian media is the fact that the Ukrainians greatly increased the number of their troops in the Donbas, to a total estimated at 80,000. They were clearly planning an offensive operation that was thwarted by the Russian intervention in that country. The only real mystery is what took the Russians so long to intervene?

Again, none of this is reported in the local media. It is presented as a Russian occupation of Ukrainian territory. To state that allegation without in any way attempting to portray the context is grossly irresponsible. The Russians have now announced that the two Donbas regions will hold a referendum later this month to decide whether or not they join the Russian Republic. This has been met with the usual howls of rage against the Russians.  Such a reaction betrays an ignorance of international law, and also the example of recent history.

In February 2008 Kosovo to declared its independence from Serbia. That declaration was supported by the Americans who have since established one of their largest foreign military bases in the country. There was no claim by the United States that the declaration of independence was illegal. No claim by the United States that the rights of Serbia had been violated. Instead, self-interest ruled the day.

There is, in theory, no reason why a region may not declare its independence, especially when, as is the case in the Donbas, its history is as complex as that of the Donbas region. There are plenty of examples of different countries in Europe combining or separating. On 1st January 1993 Czechoslovakia divided into the Czech and Slovak Republics. That was a largely amiable split and both sides have retained friendly relations ever since.

The situation in the Donbas is much less amiable. This is almost wholly due to the antipathy shown to the region by the Ukraine republic, including discrimination against the Russian-speaking inhabitants of the region. It is hardly surprising that they should seek the more congenial company of their Russian-speaking colleagues across the border.

The proposal has met with considerable antipathy from the United States government. Again, what is never mentioned in the Australian media is that Ukraine is continuing to shell the Donbas region, including its civilian areas, on a daily basis. This is a war crime, but don’t expect the Australian media to point this out.

The vote on the region’s future will be held later this month. It is almost certain that the vote to leave Ukraine and join Russia will be overwhelmingly passed. United Nations law speaks of the territorial sanctity of member States. But United Nations law also speaks of the sanctity of the self-determination of people. That will put a different complexion on Ukraine’s occupation of the Donbas areas still under their control. They will now be regarded as occupying part of Russia. Do not expect that to continue for very long.

Winter is approaching in Europe and the European countries that attempted to defeat Russia will find it very cold surviving without Russian energy supplies. They have only themselves to blame. The blind acquiescence to the Americans is now extracting a heavy price. It seems likely that more will follow the Hungarian position of seeking a resolution of the conflict. Whether the Russians will be interested is another matter. Europeans made the mistake of complying with American wishes. There is a price to pay for such stupidity.

If the USA can’t rid itself of the parasites that infiltrated it and have been running it since as far back as Andrew Jackson’s era, the parasites will eventually destroy it, and not by accident. If Americans actually want to have a country the hour of reckoning is at hand. Patriotic army and cops have had long enough to wake up. Military tribunals are the only way forward, all the rumours won’t be good enough for much longer.

  3. As is typical of all independent journalism these days, there were inevitable references by O’Neill to the media’s failure to report. I am wondering how long it is going to take for the penny to drop.

    The mental scenario of all observors is that our crooked politicians do is they like and the sycophanic media grovels.

    How is this even remotely logical? Since Hawke, Keating, and then Howard, enabled Murdoch to sieze monoply control over all Australian media. Mudoch has controlled election outcomes. Keating actually admitted this when Howard made the same deal with Murdoch.

    In what goddamned parallel universe does the media grovel to the politicians it owns?
    Rhetorical, of course. Murdoch, assisted by fellow Zionists Frank Lowy and Ross Garnaut, have run Australia ever since. And it was they who won the last federal election, as every observor noted. And still the penny does not drop.

    Forget the politicians, the oligarchs, the plutocrats, the corporate CEOs. They are along for the ride, albeit, a lucrative piggyback. Murdoch runs the entireNWO and has done since David Rockefeller died. Of course he tries to hide this because he knows that if this were to become common knowledge, the instant conclusion would be that Murdoch dies, the NWO/WEF, dies.

    History will shake its head and realise precisely why western culture and empire imploded.

    You struggle to make sense of the situation because you do not understand that you have been setup.
    The Australian government like the American government work for the UN. Do I care that Europe freezes because of the Russian government. No, might wake them up to themselves(the peeps, not Europe government), then they may remember that they have, all they require, locally.
    Every thing is going like clockwork for the “governors”, hard to govern any harder than lockstep.
    Stop tugging your forelock for the UN to intervene, they are ready, with words that you want to hear. You will rue those words.

    In 2010 the International Court of Justice backed by Western Countries, agreed that Kosovo had a right to self determination to break away from Serbia.
    Yet these same Western Countries refuse to allow provinces in Eastern Ukraine the same rights.

    Australia backed East Timors right to self determination in 1999.
    Nor should we forget Northern Irelands wish to remain part of the United Kingdom.

    Provided voting is conducted fairly, then surely a democratic outcome in Ukraine is better than continuing the bloodshed is it not.
    And while we are at it, how come the media don’t talk about US Oil companies drilling for oil in Syria. I’m sure Syrians were never asked about that were they!

    Please note this is about protecting lives not taking sides. All war is a failure of diplomacy.

      • That’s very interesting, Crossy. I’ve seen other Chinese Christian Evangelists saying much the same; and it’s very credible, I think.

        The early Jesuits (like Ricci) were a tough, disciplined, erudite bunch who did much good all over the World (new and old). Of interest is that the Synagogue was frantically alarmed that the founders of the Society were fugitives from the Synagogue who knew very well the activities of the Synagogue and who threatened to be Talmud enemy #1. Perhaps because Ignatius Lyola was aware that the main tactic of the Synagogue was infiltration and subtle subversion he modified the rule so that being “jewish” was made an impediment to entry into the Society.     Fakestream media’s attempt to demonize Putin for supposedly threatening the West with a nuclear strike, well listen to Putin’s actual speech— what the media is not letting people hear.

    Putin made the point that western leaders had been talking about nuking Russia, and so Putin reminded them that they are not the only ones with nuclear weapons. He said that if the west decides to use nukes against Russia, he will not hesitate to use them against the west as well. In other words, Putin was threatening to retaliate if the west decides to go nuclear.

    The media left out that little detail in order to demonize Putin and bring a wave of fear to the people in the west. Listen to this video from about 4:30 on for a few minutes.

          This has been repeated endlessly ever since.

          BUT when the Swiss Court of Appeals on Nov. 1, 1937 not only acquitted the principal defendant, Sylvio Schnell, and assessed the entire cost of the trial, 30,000 francs, against the state and reversed the verdict, Jewry kept SILENCE! The decision cited the fact that the Marxist-Judge Meyer had heard not one witness for the defense; had kept no Court record of the proceedings; and detailed other irregularities of the trial.

          The defendants had been arrested on complaint of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Switzerland on the charge that they had violated Article 14 of the Swiss law against distributing obscene literature, at a public meeting – the Protocols. The Appeals Court ruled that the “experts” for the Jews, C. A. Loosi and Prof. A. Baumgarten, appointed by Judge Meyer, not only were biased on the Jewish question, but, moreover, the authenticity of the Protocols had no bearing on the case since they are of a political nature and do not belong in the category of obscene literature.

          The Appeals Court also denounced “the prejudice and gross irregularities” which had been committed in the trial. Not a single one of the 40 witnesses for the defense had been permitted to testify, while all sixteen of the witnesses for the Jewish Community which brought the suit had been heard. . .”

          “The proceedings were accordingly carried on solely upon the testimony of the Jewish plaintiffs. And further, although Swiss law demands that in the case of every law suit, shorthand minutes of the proceedings be taken by an official of the court, the Judge did not adhere to this condition, but permitted the Jewish plaintiffs to appoint two private stenographers to keep the register of the official proceedings during the hearing of their own witnesses. As, therefore, no legal record of the proceedings was kept, it follows that the whole procedure, and the verdict itself, are both null and void”.

          One is tempted to say the same for the pompous “Report of the Senate Committee (Benny Mandel’s) concerning the Protocols”. [END]

    “For nearly two decades the Germans, as well as the various other nationalities in Czechoslovakia, have been maltreated in the most unworthy manner, tortured, economically destroyed, and, above all, prevented from realizing for themselves also the right of the nations to self-determination. All attempts of the oppressed to change their lot failed in the face of the brutal will to destruction of the Czechs. The latter were in possession of the power of the State and did not hesitate to employ it ruthlessly and barbarously. England and France have never made an endeavor to alter this situation

    I recognize gratefully that at last, after 20 years, the British Government, represented by Your Excellency [Chamberlain], has now decided for its part also to undertake steps to put an end to a situation which from day to day, and, indeed, from hour to hour, is becoming more unbearable. For if formerly the behavior of the Czechoslovak Government was brutal, it can only be described during recent weeks and days as madness. The victims of this madness are innumerable Germans. In a few weeks the number of refugees who have been driven out has risen to over 120,000. This situation, as stated above, is unbearable, and will now be terminated by me.

    I have, with the best intentions and in order to give the Czech nation no justifiable cause for complaint, proposed-in the event of a peaceful solution – as the future frontier, the nationalities frontier which I am convinced represents a fair adjustment between the two racial groups, taking also into account the continued existence of large language islands. I am, in addition, ready to allow PLEBISCITES [emphasis added] to be taken in the whole territory which will enable subsequent corrections to be made, in order-so far as it is possible-to meet the real will of the peoples concerned. I have undertaken to accept these corrections in advance. I have, moreover, declared myself ready to allow this PLEBISCITE to take place under the control either of international commissions or of a mixed German-Czech commission. I am finally ready, during the days of the PLEBISCITE, to withdraw our troops from the most disputed frontier areas, subject to the condition that the Czechs do the same. I am, however, not prepared to allow a territory which must be considered as belonging to Germany, on the ground of the will of the people and of the recognition granted even by the Czechs, to be left without the protection of the Reich.

    As much in the interest of the tortured, because defenseless, population as well as with regard to the duties and prestige of the Reich, it is impossible for us to refrain from giving immediate protection to this territory. [parrallels .. mmm?

    Your Excellency assures me that it is now impossible for you to propose such a plan to your own Government. May I assure you for my part that it is impossible for me to justify any other attitude to the German people; since, for England, it is a question at most of political imponderability, whereas, for Germany, it is a question of primitive right of the security of more than 3 million human beings and the national honor of a great people.

    I fail to understand the observation of Your Excellency that it would not he possible for the Czech Government to withdraw its forces so long as they were obliged to reckon with possible invasion, since precisely by means of this solution the grounds for any forcible action are to he removed. Moreover, I cannot conceal from Your Excellency that the great mistrust with which I am inspired leads me to believe that the acceptance of the principle of the transfer of Sudeten Germans to the Reich by the Czech Government is only given in the hope thereby to win time so as, by one means or another, to bring about a change in contradiction to this principle. For if the proposal that these territories are to belong to Germany is sincerely accepted, there is no ground to postpone the practical resolution of this principle.”

    • “German” is a nonsense really, Germany only federated a few decades before this, they were a bunch of unUnited Kingdoms. Russians have been infiltrating Crimea since at least the classical novels, the humanitarian aspect is a disguise for the strategic in both cases.

    “Memorandum Reports which are increasing in number from hour to hour regarding incidents in the Sudetenland show that the situation has become completely intolerable for the Sudeten German people and, in consequence, a danger to the peace of Europe. It is therefore essential that the separation of the Sudetenland agreed to by Czechoslovakia should be effected without any further delay. On the attached map (the map will be brought along by the delegation) the Sudeten German area which is to be ceded is shaded red. The areas in which, over and above the areas which are to be occupied, a PLEBISCITE is also to be held are drawn in and shaded green.

    The final delimitation of the frontier must correspond to the wishes of those concerned. In order to determine these wishes, a certain period is necessary for the preparation of the voting, during which disturbances must in all circumstances be prevented. A situation of parity must be created. The area designated on the attached map as a German area will be occupied by German troops without taking account as to whether in the PLEBISCITE there may prove to be in this or that part of the area a Czech majority.

    On the other hand, the Czech territory is occupied by Czech troops without regard to the question whether, within this area, there lie large German language islands, the majority of which will without doubt avow their German nationality in the PLEBISCITE. With a view to bringing about an immediate and final solution of the Sudeten German problem the following proposals are now made by the German Government: [Read on …]

    ‘1. Withdrawal of the whole Czech armed forces, the police, the gendarmerie, the customs officials, and the frontier guards from the area to be evacuated as designated on the attached map, this area to be handed over to Germany on October 1.

    ‘2. The evacuated territory is to be handed over in its present condition (see further details in appendix). The German Government agrees that a plenipotentiary representative of the Czech Government or of the Czech Army should be attached to the headquarters of the German military forces to settle the details of the modality of the evacuation.

    ‘3. The Czech Government discharges at once to their homes all Sudeten Germans serving in the military forces or the police anywhere in Czech State territory.

    ‘4. The Czech Government liberates all political prisoners of German race.

    ‘5. The German Government agrees to permit a PLEBISCITE to take place in those areas, which will be more definitely defined, before at latest November 25.

    Alterations to the new frontier arising out of the PLEBISCITE will be settled by a German-Czech or an international commission. The PLEBISCITE itself will be carried out under the control of an international commission. All persons who were residing in the areas in question on October 28, 1918, or who were born there prior to this date will be eligible to vote. A simple majority of all eligible male and female voters will determine the desire of the population to belong to either the German Reich or to the Czech State. During the PLEBISCITE both parties will withdraw their military forces out of areas which will be defined more precisely. The date and duration will be settled by the German and Czech Governments together.

    ‘6. The German Government proposes that an authoritative German-Czech commission should be set up to settle all further details.

    Godesberg, September 23, 1938 Appendix The evacuated Sudeten German territory is to be handed over without destroying or rendering unusable in any way military, commercial, or traffic establishments (plants). These include the ground organization of the air service and all wireless stations.

    All commercial and transport materials, especially the rolling stock of the railway system, in the designated areas, are to be handed over undamaged. The same applies to all public utility services (gas works, power stations, etc.).
    Finally, no foodstuffs, goods, cattle, raw material, etc. are to be removed.”

    Rumors are swirling across the internet of a military coup in China and that Xi Jinping is under arrest after CCP seniors removed him as head of the PLA. Is the massive cancellation of flights in China just a military exercise, or is there something more to it?

        • It appears the flying bombs are made in Iran, and the Iranian government is reportedly bringing in facial recognition cameras to enforce the wearing of various clothing by women. The protests against the woman bashed to death by police for not wearing the scarf may be spreading into anti-NWO surveillance state stuff. The woman was reportedly a Kurd, the Kurds always seem to be sticking their necks out, they are a minority everyone wants to get rid of, since the British partition of Iraq, where they split the Kurds into Turkey and Iraq, as punishment for Saladin going to Jerusalem in the 1100’s and bashing the Crusaders.
          WEF Graduate Putin is also reportedly conscripting mostly from minorities around the fringes of Russia, all round the world conformity, even racial conformity, is being enforced, while racial inclusion is being preached.
