The Biden Government Running True to Form

The least surprising news item in the past week was that the United States government under President Biden had decided that American troops would after all, despite Ex-President Trump’s order, remain in Afghanistan. This breaks an agreement that had been reached by the Trump administration and the Taliban that US troops would all be gone by May 2021.

It was unclear in the Trump agreement whether the withdrawal of “US Forces” included the United States mercenaries who for at least the past year have outnumbered formal US troops. What Trump’s negotiated agreement meant for the other “allied” forces in Afghanistan remained unclear at the time of the announcement and remains equally unclear today. The mainstream media persist in referring to those troops as NATO forces, but they include Australian troops who are not members of NATO.

The Australian government has been strangely silent in the light of Trump’s original announcement that US troops would be leaving, and they remain quiet in the light of the new administration’s revision of the Trump plan. It is a safe bet that whatever the Americans finally do will be agreeable to the Australians. There has not been the least hint of an independent Australian position. The actual role of the Australian troops remains a non-topic of discussion in the Australian media.  Even the recent scandal of Australian troops abusing and killing locals was a five-day wonder and has now disappeared from media coverage.

The ostensible reason for Australian troops remaining in Afghanistan is to “train” the Afghan forces. This was always a singularly unconvincing reason, not least because such “training” has been spectacularly unsuccessful with the high death rate of those troops, their even higher rate of defections, and a singular unwillingness to actually fight being their dominant characteristic.

The ostensible reasons for the Biden administration’s change of heart about withdrawing US troops was the unsettled nature of the government and their inability to control the countryside which is variously described as overrun with foreign ISIS fighters; not under Afghanistan government control (certainly true); or uncertainty about the political directions of a Taliban government, including protecting the rights of women in the country.

What never ceases to amaze one is the inability of the western media, and the Australian version are a classic example, to even hint at the real reasons for staying, when the foreigners who occupy Afghanistan are manifestly unwelcome. The protestations of the Afghan “government” that they appreciate the presence of foreign troops on their soil is manifestly self-serving. Their survival rate post-liberation could be counted in days.

The real reasons for the American intention to stay were concealed from the very beginning. United States president Bush justified the invasion on the alleged refusal of the Taliban government that then ruled the country, to give up Osama bin Laden, the alleged mastermind of the attacks in New York City and Washington DC on 11 September 2001.

Even if that was a legitimate reason, and it manifestly was not, the refusal to surrender bin Laden surely disappeared the day he died, which was in December 2001 from natural causes. His obituary was even published in the New York Times. We were later treated to the charade of an American foray into Pakistan to “capture” bin Laden with the body then being buried at sea. The troops responsible for this charade were later all killed in a helicopter crash. The mainstream media remained singularly incurious about the amazing sequence of events.

The real reasons for the invasion, and the continuing occupation nearly 20 years later, and the reason the Americans and their lackeys will stay as long as they can are twofold: drugs and geography.

One of the real reasons the Taliban government had to be deposed in 2001 was that they had drastically reduced the growing of the poppy in the areas of Afghanistan they actually controlled.

That poppy production in turn was processed into heroin, for which Afghanistan is once again the major source in the world. It provides the CIA with their greatest “off the books” revenue. They are not going to relinquish that money and the multiple benefits of controlling the world’s largest source of heroin it gives them, without putting up a major fight.

It is one of the enduring disgraces of the western mainstream media that this factor is almost completely ignored. When the importance of heroin to the world is acknowledged it is almost always totally bereft of any discussion of the CIA’s crucial role. One can read more about the role of heroin in UN reports than one can in the mainstream media.

The other major reason that the United States is reluctant to leave Afghanistan is its geography. Afghanistan shares borders with seven nations, including China. It has friendly relations with none of the seven, all of whom look to either Russia or China or both as their most important friends. All of those countries belong to one or more of the various organisations set up in recent years to facilitate their development, including the Shanghai Corporation Organisation.

During the latter months of the Trump administration the appalling Mike Pompeo tried very hard to woo some of those nations to his anti-China crusade. That he failed to make much headway is a matter of record, but that failure does not mean that the Americans have given up on their ambitions for the region. One can expect similar efforts to be made by the Biden administration, whose antipathy to China took very little time to become apparent.

One can hardly be surprised at the stances being taken by the Biden administration. He, like much of the senior people he has surrounded himself with, are essentially reruns from the Obama years. The old saying goes that one cannot teach an old dog new tricks, and that is becoming more true with each day of the Biden administration.

The positive point is that while the United States administration looks more and more like a rerun of the Obama years, the world has moved on, and nowhere more so than in the Asian – Europe landmass.

It is already economically the most dynamic region in the world and that is expected to continue. Fortunately for the world Eurasia is reasserting itself. The big question is: will the Americans recognise that and scale down their ambitions. Frankly, the signs are not promising.

    That the NATO forces in Afghanistan are protecting the poppy crop is not even a point of controversy. Five years ago Lt. Colonel Brian Christmas of the U.S. Marines went on Fox News to lament that it “may grind in his gut,” but the NATO troops just have to help the farmers cultivate the poppy crop otherwise the farmers would turn against them.

    And just like that, the entire “war on drugs” is exposed for the lie that we already knew that it was. Afghanistan produces 90% of the world’s opium from which heroin is derived. The poppies from which that opium is collected are protected by U.S. marines and others in the full knowledge that this will end up on the streets of countries around the world as heroin.

    Why this is the case isn’t hard to understand. The first and easiest explanation is the one that makes the world go round: Money, Money, Money! The sale of heroin is a $55 billion a year trade even by official UN estimates. Controlling the poppy fields of Afghanistan, therefore, is a military operation that pays for itself for any occupier unscrupulous enough to protect the drug trade.

    But far beyond protecting the drug trade, NATO forces have long been implicated in shipping the drugs out of the country and helping bring them to the world market.

    This explains the NATO helicopter that broke drug runner/assassin/terrorist/Gladio operative Abdullah Catli out of his Swiss prison cell in 1990.

    It goes without saying that this news is even better for the mysterious seed-suppliers who end up taking the harvested opium and transporting it off to foreign countries to be processed into heroin and sold on the black market. But it works out best of all for the treaty organization that invaded the country 14 years ago and has overseen record bumper poppy harvest after record bumper poppy harvest year after year after year after year after year ever since.

It was not until twenty years after he was in practice that he thought it advisable to get a few letters after his name. It is true that a little while before, he had obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Society, but his latest biographer and apologist, Dr. Norman Moore, had to confess that it was obtained by little less than a fraud.           So, after about 20 years of practicing his special brand of “medicine,” Jenner (the professional bullshit artist) realized he might benefit from some extra letters after his name, and thus it was that in 1790, Jenner simply bought a medical degree for £15. This is the man who helped create what is now a multi-billion dollar medical empire — a person who was not only a complete fraud and confidence man, but evidently a pathological liar.

            Jenner’s idea was based solely upon a dairymaid’s superstition. Between 1911 and 1920 the deaths numbered only 110.

            Let us look at the most recent Annual report of the Registrar-General—the eighty-third. He states that during the last 15 years 53 vaccinated persons have died of smallpox. In addition, there were 92 other deaths of the “doubtful” class mentioned above; that is, those declared by patients or friends to have been vaccinated, but which have been entered by medical officials as “doubtful” rather than take the slight trouble of searching the registers for verification. We may conclude, therefore, that there were 145 cases of smallpox deaths in vaccinated persons in this country during the last 15 years. And yet there were only 78 unvaccinated deaths during the same period. Thus, the rate of vaccinated to unvaccinated deaths is nearly two to one. This is the more remarkable seeing that during this same 15 years England has been largely unvaccinated, probably to the extent of about 75 per cent.

            Despite Jenner’s lack of education – He didn’t attend school or university, he was granted a MD for his study of the Cuckoo Bird. I wonder if thats where the term Cuckoo came from – meaning crazy? 😆 😆

  4. Nice analysis James. One of my bug-bears however is the tendency not to differentiate between US administrations. All of them since the JFK murder until Trump’s administration. I see a marked difference in the way Trump operates. No new wars, stimulating American productivity, lowering taxation, reducing mindless regulation, basically doing everything a competent manager of a business would do. I suspect Trump is far from finished his task. Let’s see how it works out..

    Because, the U.S military is already stretched to the limit.

    By further dilution of what strength they have (not much by all reports – troop morale is shot to bits), this not only increases military outlays and entails more digital creation of dollars to fund said misadventure, but makes it increasingly likely that said ‘Freedom Fighters’ in these occupied nations, taking note of diminished U.S strength in any one particular theatre of operations, will launch an insurgency against the foreign occupier.

    This in turn will inspire other Freedom Fighters in other countries to do likewise.

    Soon enough, there will be so many leaks in the U.S.S Titanic that it will be impossible to plug them all and this rotten ship of state will sink like a stone.

    Let us pray that this occurs sooner rather than later.

      Are you quite finished with your most admirable demonstration of Trump Derangement Syndrome? As for “all those spending bills that bankrupted America” I suggest to you that America (U.S. Corporation) is already bankrupt. Trump is just hurrying the process up by spending like a drunken sailor. I would suggest that he will sometime soon push for the auditing of the Fed, disclose their criminality and stiff them for the bill and destroy the whole Central Banking system. In the meantime, silver is building a head of steam. Enjoy the show and stock up on popcorn.

And as much as I like Peter Schiff, I suspect he is very much trapped in his own classic economic and monetary analysis. When I discovered how little my fellow workers cared for my predicament, despite gaining a better Work Place Agreement for them all and a pay rise, I realised there were folks with a totally different priority, focused solely upon themselves.     We want the Government to confirm that there will be no restrictions placed on citizens or residents who refuse a COVID-19 vaccination. This includes restrictions on travel, right to re-enter the country, social events such as concerts or sports, and access to shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, etc. I believe that such a move would be against our human rights as outlined in the UNESCO Bioethics & Human Rights 2005, as well as Australian Rules on Consent to Medical Treatment and the Ethical Standards of Helsinki. Consent should be voluntary and informed.

    We therefore ask the House to consider the legality of imposing any restrictions on the citizens and residents of Australia should they chose not to have a COVID vaccination, and to endorse this petition by confirming that this will not happen. We also ask the House to agree to provide advice to all business operating within Australia or in partnership with Australia that they should also not impose any such restrictions on our right to travel, re-enter the country, access social events, such as concerns or sports, and should not restrict access to shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, etc. Any decision to be vaccinated should be voluntary and informed.

        • Hello, folks. I am wondering how to identify anti-vacc trouble-makers and I have hit on the perfect plan….. launch a petition which provides for identities and whereabouts of said trouble-makers for later rounding up and extermination.

      • Like Joebama bin Biden does a better deal on Philippines islands than Trump would have, but anyway $350m is not a huge amount of money for a key globalist project (hybridised with Covid-19™), Burmese Army probably values the Rohinga land higher. Just guessing.
