Let’s face it, the 9-11 Truth Movement has not made a significant dent, 20 years down the line. As with the JFK Truth, 57 years on, many people have become educated as to what really happened – or at least to what did not happen – but this doesn’t “lead to anything.”

Meanwhile, textbooks and news media proceed with the old story, showing not the slightest embarrassment to repeat things that have been conclusively disproven.

I am very interested in the disconnect between public awareness and “bringing the miscreants to book.”  There is never a prosecution. There is never a legislative enactment to correct the situation.  Even the political rivals of the guilty party do not engage in pertinent mudslinging, as would be the case during other controversies.

I am writing this article to introduce to anyone who hasn’t followed the literature, some prominent names and some solid books on 9/11.   I congratulate ten such persons who seem to be driven by the search for truth, or who simply can’t abide a lying environment. This is not a competition to pick the best — there are many other famous ones, and many who are working diligently without being noticed.

Ten Persons

Truth seekers may arise from any location or occupation. It really is difficult to predict who will step forward.

My five “nominees” in the United States are: David Ray Griffin, a theologian; Kevin Robert Ryan, a former worker for NIST (National Institute for Standards and Testing); Cynthia McKinney, (b 1955), a Congresswoman; Christopher Bollyn, a critic of Israel; and William Veale, a civil rights lawyer.

The other five are outside the US: Barrie Zwicker (b 1934), a newsman in Canada; Elias Davidsson (b 1941), a composer in Germany; James Corbett, a Canadian blogger who lives in Japan; Laurent Louis (b 1980), an ex-member of the Belgian Parliament; and Fujita, a member of the Japanese Diet.

It’s very pleasant to note that all ten are still alive. Only one has been jailed, Laurent Louis (but that was for calling his prime minister a pedophile). Christopher Bollyn got thrown to the ground, in front of his children.

Of the ten, three were legislators – McKinney, Fujita, and Louis. I wonder how they felt about being the only member of a large assembly to speak out. McKinney was one of 435 reps; she had a go at Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld during a hearing.

Regarding the one lawyer, Veale, he was punished by a judge, with a fine of $15,000 for defending his client April Gallop. She had rejected the official story of the plane crash at the Pentagon.  How hurt must he have felt!

It’s understandable that a newsman such as Barrie Zwicker, or blogger Jim Corbett, would pick up on the fact that his colleagues were not investigating the event and that he would  feel angry or frustrated about that.  It is understandable that Christopher Bollyn would grab his chance to spotlight Israeli connections.

It is natural that a NIST worker, Kevin Ryan, who read his agency’s report and saw internal flaws in it, would start to insert himself into the case. Elias Davidsson, though a musician by trade (and a programmer), has had a longtime layperson involvement with international law. He wouldn’t have hesitated to see the human rights implications of 9/11 for Muslims.

That leaves the theologian, David Ray Griffin.  You could say that his occupation requires him to speak truth, and to elucidate sin.  Sure, that’s true, but isn’t that also job of the thousands of clergymen? Yet they are lip-locked when the subject of 9-11 comes up.

Books

Not all of the ten persons named above have authored a book, but some have, and most of those have come out with two or more books on the topic of 9-11. Griffin’s books are almost innumerable!

I will list below five authors’ works that I am familiar with: Elias Davidsson, America’s Betrayal Confirmed; Barrie Zwicker, Towers of Deception; Christopher Bollyn, The Dual Deception of 9-11 and the Fraudulent War on Terror; David Ray Griffin’s The 9-11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions, and Kevin Ryan’s Another Nineteen; Legitimate 9-11 Suspects.

But first let me mention that there were some 9-11 truth books that appeared early on. I presume those books inspired some of the ten persons name above. The first was Nafeez Ahmed’s 2002 book in the UK: The War on Freedom: How and Why America was Attacked.

Next was Thierry Meyssan’s 11 Septembre: L’effroyable Imposture, translated as The Big Lie (2002).  Amazon says it “went on France’s bestseller list in its second week and became the highest-grossing book in a single week in Europe ever.” Nothing like that happened in the US.

Third was Gore Vidal’s Dreaming War, which stemmed from his essay in 2002 in the UK’s Observer.  It made reference to Nafeez Ahmed’s book. Michael Ruppert was one of the first voices on the Internet to home in on the details of the deceptions.  His 2004 book is Crossing the Rubicon.

Personally, I never saw those publications. I was in the dark until 2005. I knew as early as 2001 that the activity of bombing Afghanistan to get a Saudi man, Osama bin Laden, was not cricket, and I knew the 2002 Homeland Security Act was outrageous, but I accepted the general story of the attacks on the World Trade Center.

I did see Gore Vidal on television, saying that it was not OK that the Air Force did not go aloft speedily to intercept the planes.  It wasn’t until I happened to see an article on the Hutton Inquiry, concerning the death of British weapons inspector David Kelly that I was forced to look into 9/11.

The next year, 2006, I tried running for a seat in Congress. One plank in my campaign platform was “9/11 was an inside job.” The mainstream media duly ignored me. Who would have guessed then that another 15 years would sail by without the nation coming to grips with such a fantastic crime?  And how many more years will sail by!

Five Prominent Authors

Barrie Zwicker had worked in mainstream media for many years. With Dick McDonald, Zwicker edited Inside the Canadian Media, criticizing the “sameness” of reportage by all outlets. He had also made documentaries and in 1983 wrote War, Peace and the Media, stating that there was unbalanced coverage of the USSR that helps foment an arms race. In 2002, he produced a video about 9-11 entitled The Great Deception. In 2006, his book Towers of Deception came out.  It is specifically about the neglectful media coverage of 9-11.  I think if someone reads this book, without even needing to know of the positive investigations, they could deduce that media is engaged in criminal cover-up, and therefore crime is present.

Chris Bollyn is related to Henry VIII’s wife, Anne Bollyn.  I have not seen his books, but I was lucky to attend his two-hour lecture in Massachusetts in September 2017, which brought together many aspects of the 9-11 problem. Bollyn’s beef is mainly with Israel and Zionists. He pointedly asks: Who had control of airports security? Who was in charge of the narrative? Who could guarantee that if things went wrong, the real attackers would be able to escape? Who controlled insurance aspects of the case?  Who said the US should get on a war footing?  Who destroyed the evidence of the towers’ collapse? Who prevented lawsuits? US Attorney General Michael Mukasey is one of his targets, as is Judge Alvin Hellerstein who handled all lawsuits related to the WTC attacks.

David Ray Griffin was already the author of many books on theology; at an early stage he was a follower of the process school of Alfred North Whitehead. If Griffin had preparation for discovering truth of 9-11, it probably came from his awareness that nations sometimes go to war on false premises. Appropriately, his first book on 9-11 is called A New Pearl Harbor (2004). He credits Paul Thompson’s work on the Internet (see Creative Commons). In 2005, Griffin did a detailed critique of 115 errors in the official Report published by the 9-11 Commission. By 2006, this theologian was ready to reflect on the religious connection, in Christian Faith and the Truth Behind 9/11: A Call to Reflection and Action. I find his 2011 book 9-11: Ten Years Later very important in that it raises the problem of the lack of solution.

Elias Davidsson was known to me as a fellow arguer on a list-serve at the American Society for International Law. So I eagerly bought his book Hijacking America’s Mind on 9-11 in 2013. What an accurate title! That book was based on the phone calls allegedly made from the hijacked planes. Davidsson also dug up the crucial fact that Ed Ballinger, the dispatcher for United Airline’s 16 daily flights from the East coast to the West coast, gave amazing sworn testimony to the 9-11 commission. Ballinger said he sent a message to all his pilots when he heard there was trouble, that morning. He got “receipts” showing which RGS (remote ground station) had forwarded each call. In the case of the Let’s Roll flight (UA93), the RGS was not one near Shanksville, PA, but near Cleveland, Ohio.  Later, Elias Davidsson investigated other false flag cases, such as the truck plowing into a Christmas shopping mart in Germany, and the hotel bombings in Mumbai, India. In 2020, he put together his study of 911 under the title America’s Betrayal Confirmed.  Note: Davidsson credits the Nafeez Ahmed book with having tipped him off originally.

Kevin Robert Ryan is the author of the book that I consider to be the most helpful of them all: Another Nineteen; Legitimate 9-11 Suspects. After all, it is now two decades past the event and the persons who were actually responsible for that day’s horror and the subsequent horror for Iraq and Afghanistan, are walking free. They have never even been called in for questioning.  You may remember that when Vice President Richard Cherney was called to speak to the 9-11 Commission, he exempted himself from having to testify under oath. Did he have something to hide? Most interestingly, Ryan points to the Saudi involvement in 9/11 and to the various persons whose actions on the stock market contain rather obvious implications for “prior knowledge” of the 9-11 attacks. Also, Ryan names as one of his “nineteen suspects” Paul Bremer, who later became governor of Iraq.

Think about it.

A Note on “Conspiracy Theory”

The subtitle of David Ray Griffin’s 2011 book (911 Ten Years Later) is: When State Crimes against Democracy Succeed.  How True!  In his final chapter, Griffin records the insights of Paul Craig Roberts, from a GlobalResearch.ca article dated June 20, 2011. The article was entitled “9/11 and the Orwellian Redefinition of Conspiracy Theory.” Roberts wrote:

“The purest example of how Americans are shielded from truth is the media’s (including many Internet sites’) response to the large number of professionals who find the official explanation of September 11, 2001, inconsistent with everything they, as experts, know about physics, chemistry, structural engineering, architecture, fires, structural damage, the piloting of airplanes, the security procedures of the United States, NORAD’s capabilities, air traffic control, airport security, and other matters. These experts, numbering in the thousands, have been shouted down by know-nothings in the media who brand the experts as ‘conspiracy theorists.’

“The story that the government and the media have told us [about young Arab hijackers knocking down the skyscrapers] amounts to a gigantic conspiracy, really a script for a James Bond film. Yet, anyone who doubts [it] is defined into irrelevance by the obedient media.

“Anyone who believes expert pilots who testify that non-pilots or poorly-qualified pilots cannot fly airplanes in such maneuvers, anyone who believes the 100 or more first responders who testify that they not only heard explosions in the towers but personally experienced explosions, … anyone who is convinced by experts instead of by propaganda is dismissed as a kook.”

Enough already. Let’s stop the nonsense of this Orwellian labelling of excellent research as kooky.

Note: I think the label “conspiracy theory” should be applied as a compliment. Personally, I always call myself a conspiracy theorist.  I have a PhD in Politics and I don’t see how it’s possible for a properly trained political scientist to hold a view of contemporary politics as anything but conspiratorial.  Our subject matter in political science is the workings of power.  Aren’t the workings of power frequently dependent on deceit, ruthlessness, perfidy, violence, and secrecy?

An Apt Conclusion

It is fitting that Griffin concludes his 2011 book as follows:

“It is impossible to see, apart from revealing the truth about 9/11, how American political life could ever be more than a hollow shell of democracy. The events on 9/11 and the reports following it – especially The 9/11 Commission Report, and the NIST reports on the Twin Towers and WTC-7 – have been extremely effective attacks on the American democratic system. The effectiveness of these reports has been magnified by the refusal of the press, the academy, and the religious institutions to deal with the contradictions and provably false claims in these reports.”

Come on, ye journalists, professors, priests – come out of the woodwork. We have been missing you.  You have been missing us.  Just accept your duty to get with the program. It won’t hurt, in fact you’ll love it.

Truth-seeking is humanity’s great way of opening minds. One can only enjoy participating, especially at this worrisome juncture of history when minds are dying to be opened.

    • I would defo recommend Prosecution for Treason by Yours Truly.
      maybe Chalmers Johnson’s The Sorrows of Empire. Or just use Gumshoe’s search engine for, say, “McLachlan, media, 9-11.”

    • Cynthia, I think Christopher Bollyn is the outstanding author on the subject because he is not afraid to point the finger at the people ( ultra rich Zionist, mostly Jewish Elites) who have spent the last couple of hundred years infiltrating and controlling Religion, Academia, the Justice system, all politics, entertainment, police, intelligence agencies, military, and above all, Wall Street and the Press.
      You may as well start at the top of the pyramid.

    I could address a jury for three days without a note in hand…….. but some time ago as time passes.
    I had communicated with Griffin for a couple of years and even bought scores of his books for distribution. To no avail.
    His ‘Cognitive Infiltration’ book; I personally gave to Michael McHugh, after he left the High Court… NO response; later when I asked him about it he just ignored my entreaty. Well what was I to think if he did not even deign to even thank me for the gift or offer to return the copy.

        Wendy Hoffman spelled out, in her first two books (Enslaved Queen and White Witches), how she had been physically tortured into cooperating with Whomever. Those 2 books were a celebration of her freedom that began in 2014.

        Then doesn’t she come out with 2020 book, “A Brain of My Own” to describe how, even after her liberation, she got sucked back into the cult or whatever you call it, circa 2018.

      • There are more optimistic property developers around than ever before, more constrictions on open stormwater drains ( I think there was a very good example somewhere around Toowoomba, Qld ), there are more newfangled materials (flammable etc), more ignition sources and fuels even after indoor smoking stopped, and there are more video cameras to capture the destruction from every angle (and distribute it instantly). There are more sinkholes caused by old drains leaking, there are more collapses by walls & columns being removed (also illegal loads being added), more trees falling on houses through optimism / negligence, and more landslips due to vegetation being removed. But wait !!! It’s because of climate change !!!

        • The conspiracy theorist in me is fighting to enter the debate. Has anybody asked whether HAARP has anything to do with this? Remember the extra-ordinary hot spell in Canada a couple of weeks ago that caused the town of Littleton to be destroyed by fire in very unusual circumstances.

          Unfortunately for the German population, because of all the finances wasted on the non-epidemic and purchase of the “killer vaccine” there is no money in the coffers to help you financially to cleanup and rebuild.

          Maybe the pharmaceutical industry and Bill Gates would like to “invest” their ill-gotten gains. Of course they can’t afford to donate to such a frivolous cause.

          • Everyone is watching HAARP with interest but getting the amount of heat energy into the atmosphere or even redirecting it, would be such a challenge in terms of moving energy around. A while ago Bill Gates wanted to fill the atmosphere with powder to “stop climate change”. A very primitive idea and loaded with unforeseen consequences I would think. Was he just providing a diversion ?

      But anyway how about those muslims carrying the can, and in an even more incredible calculation (probably) by the conspirators, they are proud to carry the can.       Personally I don’t see how the 2 main airliners could have been anything other than drones, because they hit so close to target ( visible explosions happened about one floor under the impact zone ).

  13. Just my personal prejudice — I feel that finding the details of whodunnit, both for JFK at Dallas or WTC at NYC is a poor expenditure of one’s time.

    Are you someone who is worried and disgusted by what happened? Then get out there and do something, even a small activity.

    Are you trying to make sure you have the story exactly correct, in case you are quizzed on it? Don’t be so concerned. It is ENOUGH to know that 1963, 1996 (PAM), and 2001 were blatant Inside Jobs.

    It is enough to know that citizens who complain get punished for complaining — when that is the exact opposite of what we say a democracy is all about.

    Are you Australian? Then yell about Martin Bryant. Come on, you can do it. Or better yet, deal with the criminality of Dan Andrews.

    Which situation just exemplifies the difference between “knowing” and “knowing”.

    What needs to be taken into account is that head knowledge cannot, of itself, change anyone’s habits. How common is it to refexively flick light switches on when one knows there’s a power cut ?
    It takes a while, and in some cases a concerted effort, for some messages to fully sink in.

    • More importantly, far more attention needs to be given to the overarching phenomena:
