Twenty-six Takeaways from the Year 2026, So Far, and Constitution College

4

by Mary W Maxwell, LLB

Here are 26 takeaways of the United States in my view today, October 22, 2026:

1. American citizens are largely unaware of what their government is doing.

2. Their ‘government’ is not the one described by schoolteachers.

3. By now, the government system, both federal and state, is privately run.

4. For many of its duties, Congress is a nullity and the Judiciary is a nullity.

5. The military has lost its brains, as only Yes-men can get promoted.

6. Yes men close their eyes to war crimes, contraUS law against it.

7. The current president never even pretends to follow the law.

8. Yes men are unconcerned with the US Constitution and its history.

9. Our ideals. e.g., Justice, accountability, humanitarianism, have gone AWOL.

10. No member of government, or powerful individual, gets punished for crime.

11. The role of Attorney General is to act as lawyer for the unlawful powerful.

12. The taxpayers’ Treasury can be slush-funded for absolutely anything.

13. InterParty jealousy is explained by mass media as the engine of legislation.

14. Hi-tech weaponry is produced by businesses not under our nation’s control.

15. Diplomacy is not existent; overseas decisions are made by Wall Street.

16. Members of the House don’t criticize the outlandish power of the Speaker.

17. Funny new crises are thrown in every week to keep the people distracted.

18. Universities no longer refer to principles. (Principles? Huh? What’s that?)

19. Influencers, such as on social media, don’t specifically ask “So what should we do?”

20. A perhaps planned election-integrity incident might be said to justify martial law.

21. Guns have been issued to IRS, and Tasers to many agencies, with no public debate.

22. Parental-rights complainers at school board meetings have been called terrorists.

23. Citizens are unaware of the tyrannical use of economic sanctions in foreign policy.

24. No officials preach a fight against organized crime by today’s high-class mafia.

25. US’s reputation abroad has gone from very positive to neutral to very negative.

26. The above 25 items are unconsciously accepted as trends, thus deemed ‘inevitable.’

Discussion

If you read the Ratification debates of 1788, you will see that citizens, who were mostly farmers and artisans, got involved in choosing the best way to set up America’s new government. They permitted the signing of the Constitution, contingent on a Bill of Rights being added (Amendments 1 through 10). None of these people had trouble understanding that officials, when given a badge with which to scare individuals, will do so to their heart’s content. If the Ratifiers were here today and were shown the above 26 items of power-takeovers, they would say “Elementary, my dear Watson.”

Born in 1947, I am one of the Baby Boomers. During the 1950s, ’60’s, and’ 70’ we still took the Constitution to be our protector. In fact, public pressure could get the government to conform to the parchment. By the time 1983 came around, members of Generation X (born 1965 and later) were becoming adults. They had been given a new type of education that omitted the “Elementary my dear Watson” factor. The mass media was, by then, masterful at directing popular culture. Secret bosses had taken over, bigtime. Consequently, the individual started to feel small.

We Boomers are now in Nursing Homes. The Millennial generation, who were kids in the 1990s, grew up with computers and with their local school’s curriculum dictated by the (wholly unconstitutional) Department of Education. Business corporations were growing bigger and bigger, with some merging into monopolies. (Never mind that such mergers are controllable by the Sherman Anti-trust Act of 1890, still in force at least technically, with criminal penalties for breachers!) Young people were led to believe that their cultural creations, such as in music, proved their power over government.

Starting in 2001, after the scripted shock of Nine Eleven, the Executive and Congress proudly, and treasonously, gave us the USA Patriot Act (cutely named the “Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism” Act). The Supreme Court did not raise an eyebrow.

By 2002, the Office of Legal Counsel, in a memo signed by John Yoo, told the president that he was free to commit torture. “Memos’ are not part of law but never mind, the CIA at Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, and subsequently at ‘black sites,’ could perform extreme torture all in the name of the law. (What?). At home, people got the message: It’s best not to exercise free speech if you’re not in synch with government. (What?)

Nowadays, censorship is largely accepted as patriotic. The federal government can sue a university for hosting Protesters. Presumably, Martin Luther’s hanging his 95 theses on the door of Wittenberg Cathedral is no longer celebrated in History classes. The phrase “civil disobedience” got dropped from our vocabulary. In war, our military get the message that whatever they are asked to do should be done “for the good.” Or maybe there is no need, anymore, to talk about the good — just do what you’re told, Citizens and Soldiers.

As of 2020, the nation was treated to a several month home-arrest by, supposedly, the World Health Organization dictating what must be done by the whole world. Namely, don’t travel, close your non-essential business down, wear a mask, stand 6 feet apart from others, and don’t hold super-spreader social events such as weddings. Oh, and don’t visit grandma in the hospital. (WHAT?)

Stirrings

Wait. There was a silver lining to the Covid ‘plandemic.’ The powerful went too far. Having persuaded themselves that they could get away with anything, they engaged in over-the-top activities, and fantastic stories, and ended up in trouble. Or at least there are stirrings to that effect. I think we can be empowered by this recent development.

The most salient action already taking place has to do with the Covid vaccinations, the taking of which which was mandated for many groups of people. This included soldiers, health-care workers, college students, but not, need we say, Congresspersons or judges. For any individual who said “Oh no you don’t, Dr Fauci, get outta here!”, there was a punishment, such as for a nurse to lose her job.

Now, however, patients who suffered from the vax have had time to complain and some activists have gathered them together to file lawsuits. Also, doctors have investigated the history of the vaccine, coming up with many a surprise as to its origins.

Thus far, I believe, some employers who sacked non-vaxxed workers have paid lost wages and benefits to those workers — rather than face legal penalty themselves A few doctors, who had their medical license stripped for preaching against the Covid shot, have been reinstated. Not too many citizens are yet aware of these losses to the arrogance of the ‘entitled.’ Much more fun lies ahead as the perpetrators of Covidism go to jail for murder, unauthorized possession of bioweapons, and so forth.

Consider some crimes which the average citizen of 2026 doesn’t realize are crimes, but which any American at the 1788 Ratification debate would have been very cognizant of. These are treason, failure to report a crime (seriously that’s a crime, it’s on the books), and abuse of power. Yes abuse of power. Of course the more ordinary stuff includes fraud, theft, and assault. I’m practically salivating, thinking how certain media moguls will be .. um… stretched on the rack. (OK, I’m exaggerating.)

Note: Covid is not the only sin that will be dealt with. Let me name just one activist lawyer, Ana Toledo, who has absolutely put her foot down. Thank you, Ms Toledo. Her mission is to get relief for thousands of “TI’s” – targetted individuals. Those are people who have been ‘experimentally’ radiated by government, and thus have suffered daily from pain, sleep deprivation, and other mental distress.

As the lawyer in charge of the class action suit, Ana Toledo won’t have any difficulty believing the stories of the TI’s, as she is one herself. (Talk about picking the wrong person to target!) You may be amazed to know that she is impatient with any fellow sufferers who do not jump into action. I think we need more of that Never-say-accept attitude.

Promo and invitation

Here is a 6 minute video I made at the opening of Constitution College on September 17, 2026. If anyone is interested in joining, please contact me at MaxwellMaryLLB@gmail.com. In this video, it says that the website “Amendments.US” is already up and running, but as Yours Truly’s technical skills are not the least bit up and running, we may have to wait a bit, K?
