Gumshoe Goes Troppo over the National Apology for Child Abuse

[Yesterday we published the Apology, and today Gumshoe’s reply.]

by Mary W Maxwell, LLB

On October 22, 208 a very formal apology was issued to persons who had been sexually abused by members of institutions in Australia. The wording was magnificent and the whole thing is Australia’s gift to the world. No other national leader has come out with such sheer acknowledgement of the problem.

Amazingly, the Prime Minister even used the word “ritual.” He said “The crimes of ritual sexual abuse happened in schools, churches, Scout troupes, foster homes, sporting clubs, group homes [etc].” Many survivors alive today tried unavailingly for thirty years or more to get anyone to believe that ritual abuse occurs (“ritual” in the sense of involving the “rites” of religious or occult ceremonies). And now their claim is given full acceptance!

So it’s not my plan to say the speech itself was wanting. But oh am I furious that it could be delivered in a context of the continuing silence about protected persons. The Prime Minister asked “Why did those who know cover it up? Why was our system of justice blind to injustice?” Hello?  Do I detect a past tense there — the system WAS blind? Did somebody take the system to the ophthalmologist?

The members of Parliament who stood up to signify their agreement with the apology are the persons keeping Australia in the grip of an enemy. They diligently contribute to the protection of the powerful pedophile rings.

Those pedophile rings hardly stop at child abuse – they abuse us all, everyday, by their secret social engineering.  They are the boss of this nation, Australia, and probably every other nation in the world. I can’t go into that in this article – just want to say that even if you don’t care about the pedophile problem, you should nevertheless watch what’s going on here.

Question Time

First let’s have Question Time.  I, being in the Liberal Party, will hurl five questions at the Leader of the so-called Opposition:

  1. Mr Shorten, you said: “We are sorry for every crime that was not investigated, every criminal who went unpunished”

I can’t believe you had the cheek to say that. Even today Rachel Vaughan can’t get you to investigate some past and present crimes of a huge nature. Will you deal with her long list now?

  1. Mr Shorten, You said: “History will judge our words today.”

Wrong-o.  As in wrong-o. How can a person judge words? They judge deeds, and you are not looking too good in that area, are you?

  1. Mr Shorten, You said: “We are sorry for every cry for help that fell on deaf ears and hard hearts.”

Look, I am going to give you six protective parents’ phone numbers right now and you are going to ring them up.  Then I will ask them if their plea fell on deaf ears (yours) and hard hearts (yours), OK?

  1. Mr Shorten, You said: “The abusers did it because they could. And they did it because they were confident they could get away with it.”

Well as you must know that did not change on October 22.  How would it change? Is there someone who is going to arrest them?

  1. Mr Shorten, you said: “Today belongs to people who are in the grip of addiction or poverty. Today [that is, Apology Day] belongs to the people in the prison system whose life was shunted on the wrong track.”

In the grip of drugs? Shunted into prison? What if it were your brother in that jail, Mr Opposition Leader? What redress could you find for him? Maybe get the keys and let him the hell out?

Canvas Please

The full speeches were really horrible, maybe even intentionally malicious, in their omission of any backdrop, any canvas on which a citizen could place the much-lamented events.

As Gumshoe readers know, my head is full of the canvas of MK-Ultra in North America and Tavistock in England. And thanks to Diane DeVere, Fiona Barnett, and Steve McMurray we have learned of how MK-Ultra and Tavistock made their way into Oz since the 1940s.

None of that was ever given a minute’s air-time in the four years of hearings at the Royal Commission into Institutional Reponses to Child Sexual Abuse. Thus the causes of the pedophile problem were never dug into.  And if you don’t know the cause how would you be able to design a solution?

Admittedly I’m setting aside cases of what might be called spontaneous pedohilia.  Some adults have an apparent desire to make sexual contact with prepubertal males or females. Some of the perpetrators mentioned in the hearings – say, a Boy Scout leader — may have acted on his urge without having received any “training” in that art by anyone above him. But that is not the main story of our time.

The Untouchables in Australia

On the very first day I attended an RC (Royal Commission) hearing in Sydney, on October 22, 2015, I sat in fascination as the headmaster of Highton House at Geelong Grammar proceeded to lie boldly as to his recollection of the sexual molestation of a particular student.

This man, Mr Bugg, was not the least intimidated by the presence of judges (the commissioners) in the room. Nor was he worried about committing perjury. The RC interrogator showed us documents on the screen that proved Bugg was lying.  The point I am making here is that Mr Bugg surely works for someone higher than that judge. He KNOWS he is protected. He was “above it all.”

If you have a chance, dear Reader, please follow through on the ‘referrals’ that were made by Justice Peter McClellan, Commissioner of the RC, when the RC ended.  Did he refer Bugg for prosecution for perjury?

And if you are from Scotland, see my article on Dunblane “Toffs’ Clinic” which makes clear that the higher-ups committed that tragedy (a classroom full of first-graders killed). Yet to this day no one raises a finger against them. They are untouchable. “We Have People at the Top in All Services”

I will give one more vignette from the RC hearings, dated June 21, 2016. During that week, victims of pedophilia told of the horrors of being raped and beaten onboard HMS Leeuwin, a training ship for navy cadets, anchored in Western Australia.

“I arrived with other recruits by bus. We were shouted at for money and cigarettes. We were told to speak to the Leading Seaman if we had any problems.

I was called to see the petty officer of Navy police; I innocently rested my hands on his desk. He swung his arm across my chest and sent me flying across the room. I was homesick but after this I became depressed and feared for my life. It was pointless to seek help.

There were threats and bullying and physical attacks from older grubs. Boys were stripped naked and forced to run a gauntlet, hit with pillows filled with cans and football boots. I suffered many midnight raids….

I lost a tooth after one of these raids…. I was made to carry other boys on my back while doing a duck walk. This may have been the start of my back problems. I never reported it, nor did I seek medical attention. They said [if you go to a doctor with bruises] pretend you ran into a door; if you dob, your life will be hell.

In 1969, I met my wife; I needed a secure job. I joined the RAAF. There, I was told that a Judge Rapkee in Sydney was doing an inquiry into Leeuwin. I was escorted to the judge by shore patrolmen. They said “If you say anything you are going to pay a very dear price. We have people at the top in all services.”

The entire interview was brief. I felt the only reason was to exonerate the staff at Leeuwin. Old boys looking after each other. [Emphasis added]

But Justice McClellan was sitting right there in the RC room on June 21, 2106 when that was said. There was his chance to get at the issue of “We have People at the Top.”  Never did he inquire “Who are those people?’  So just as this ex-cadet was let down by Rapkee in 1968 or so, he was let down in 2016 by McClellan who had full authority, nay a mandate, to investigate child sexual abuse and aim at its prevention.

Calculating Destruction

In the apology speech – which was certainly a tear-jerker — Prime Minister Scott Morrison said “Not just as a father but as a Prime Minister, I am angry at the calculating destruction of lives and the abuse of trust.”  Is he angry?  I hope he is.

Mr Morrison, I would like you to do an interview with Fiona Barnett, the best Aussie we’ve got, about the calculated destruction of lives.  Fiona used to run a radio show. One of her programs was about Hillsong Church, which we know is your church. Fiona says “Hillsong has a huge involvement in all this.” One of her radio interviewees, Mr Depra, said (I am lightly editing here):

“Hillsong places their members in key positions. They manoeuvre it.  They’ve got some working as volunteers with the police. Calls come into the police station, say from a woman separated from her husband and there was domestic violence. The church would contact her to offer assistance.  ‘Let’s come to our church’ or whatnot. Obviously it was for the access to the children.

“I had a case where a young woman owed fines. She was allowed to pay it off by CS (community service).  She did that on 2 days per week while her kids stayed in a day-care center.  At Christmas, that kindergarten was closed, so she could not do her CS hours. There was no time deadline — she had 7 months left in which to fulfil the CS. However, the church reported her for being in breach! A cop came to her house to take her, and he was accompanied by two members of the church, who would mind the kids.

“I went to speak to her parole officer.  I suggested a different CS placement. The parole officer said ‘I’ll have to speak to the church about that.’ [What!] I said ‘Are you in the Hillsong church?’ She went all silent.”

Prime Minister, does Mr Depra’s story worry you? Do you worry about the trafficking of children by governmental agencies? In your apology speech you said:

“The National Office for Child Safety is another big step forward to ensuring the prevention and detection of child abuse wherever it occurs. It was established from 1 July this year within the Department of Social Services.

“The office has already begun its work to ensure the systemic failures [will end.]…. Importantly, children themselves are being empowered to participate in these initiatives, because our children must be heard.”

But that is a joke. Here in Adelaide we have seen that so-called Child Protective Services are deeply involved in child-trafficking.  Far from listening to children, they censor kids’ speech.

The personnel of the Family Court are mired in sin. This is true in America also.  You may have heard that Georgia’s state senator Nancy Schaeffer was killed for trying to take action in regard to the courts’ stealing of children

Pause to say that again: the courts’ stealing of children.

Prime Minister, you said:

“We can promise a country where we commit to hear and believe our children, to work together to keep children safe, to trust them and, most of all, to respect their innocence.”

I don’t believe you, Mr Morrison.

I don’t believe you either, Mr Shorten.

Sorry.

  1. Mr Morrison, I can provide you “Darlene’s” number and you can explain to her WHY HER CHILD WAS NOT — NOT LISTENED TO.

Two very large men had to force her into a car; and the court ignored the bloody evidence from her panties — and now they have KIDNAPPED her from her MOTHER. It is more than shameful.

And… then the system arrests and is attempting to punish three men trying to save and protect some of these children.

    • I was witness to a 14 yo boy being man handled by 6 Federal Police in the Family Court building in Adelaide. The boy had written a letter to the Judge and asked to be returned to his mother since his father had been raping him & sharing him to other paedophiles ( he made comments that implied that one of these was a Judge) too! The mother put in another application, the judge refused for the boy to be heard. The Judge ordered the mother to put the child in the ‘child care room’ at the court. The mother replied that he was physically much larger than her & she could not do it! Whilst it was adjourned for morning tea, 6 Federal Police Officers physically dragged him away kicking & screaming. Unbelievable!!!

Royal Commissions — are and always have been part of the grand plan, highly orchestrated, another military operation– a psychological “process.”
    Professor Gary Lilienthal explains:

These “apology” speeches are scripted to prepare the fragmented controlled minds of the masses to accept the process and be active participants for the next part — the plan of action is to assess all children for mental health issues when they enter our education system — this plan is well underway— I heard it announced on the BBC during Mental Health Week earlier this month-THEIR breakfast program now leading the way as social welfare experts–just like OUR ABC breakfast program.

ps Reina Michaelson’s story is worth researching it focuses on Education-schools-networks-silencing- then involving victims as advocates of finding solutions often in another state or territory.

Ah Education: Child Care. the Tavistock Nodes. OUR public servants.
all used as weapons of mass destruction, controlling the masses.

“Unarmed truth is the most powerful force in the universe.” Martin Luther King.
In Truth Beauty. Strength to us all for the next bit.

    • I have heard this is the case. I was told that the pedophiles are so entrenched and high up, it would disrupt the running of the country. Go figure!

        • Hi MM, I watched the footage that Huskydog refers to (Wood R.C ) Question? Who are the enablers that gave John Howard the ‘power’ to suppress the information for 90 years? A Royal Commission is empowered by the highest authority in the land. So Howard sets himself above this power, and Royal direction?

    • It was John Howard that put in place the Shared Parenting arrangement which gave both parents equal shared parenting. This would normally be fine, but for abusers & paedophiles it was their ticket to use the children as pawns & further abuse the mother that escaped his grip via the children! After all he could abuse the children and the mother struggled the family law system to protect them! Abuse by proxy! Our then Attorney General Michael Atkinson ordered for the Mullighan Inquiry’s alleged paedophiles names to be suppressed. Very few investigations took place, only 3 arrests, thanks to Ki Meekins (he wrote a book called Red Tape Rape). They took a retired Judge from QLD to be impartial, even that was a lie since he spent many years living at Semaphore in Adelaide!!!

      • Don’t forget AFCC (the cartel) within the Australian Family Court which drives this activity. Supported or led by two Australian Family Court Court Chief Justices. The Australian Chapter (or branch) is/was recently led by Justice Steven Strickland of the Aus Fam Court Appeals Division. The Appeals division has been removed but the victims of their terrible judgments still suffer.

  3. Maybe this mother of four from Hobart will be the one to save us all.

You never know where the breakthrough will come from.

Maybe also one day she wakes up and says “I have the ability to set Martin Bryant free and by God I will.”
    .

  4. ANNOUNCING AN EASTER EGG HUNT.

Let’s go looking for any member of the judiciary, the parliament, “Whitehall,” or law enforcement, oh and how could I forget, academia, who is not suspect.

That person has to be willing to be identified as a goody.

(I didn’t say the media because, well, let’s not be ridiculous.)

  5. apolgies are fine but what is being done. having been a child victim of physical violence in one of our so-called christian orphanages the government put a cap on the amount of compensation, just in case the church became bankrupt.. Yeah, what about the victims. It has changed little since and we are expected to consider an apology is enough.

      • I have read the appropriate books and files and have noted that one in five children held in Christian orphanages were sexually abused, regardless of denomination. I also note that all British stolen children were taken by Christian organisations and that it was the Christian lobby, not government legislation, that was behind the Aboriginal stolen generation.

That leads me to believe that compensation should be by the Christian churches, not the taxpayer. The same applies to apologies. Ordinary Australians have no say in these occurrences. Let the guilty parties pay for their own crimes.
