Our Dee, and Her Massive Contribution to Human Rights

This week I chanced to see a notice about the Australian Government offering a medal for achievements in human rights in 2021. I plan to nominate Dee McLachlan, founder and editor of GumshoeNew.com. I invite you to say something about Dee, in comments below.

Unfortunately, we are stuck for time — the nomination must be emailed by 11:59pm on Sunday September 4, 2022.  So I can’t incorporate anything you say after 11pm Sunday night, but if you are too late, you can still have your say here, for the record. I thank you in advance.

You may also have some other nominee(s) you wish to support. The nominee must be resident in Australia Here’s the drill:

To be eligible for nomination, entrants must have made a significant contribution to the promotion and protection of human rights in Australia and been active in this area between August 1, 2021 and July 31, 2022.  All submissions must include the nomination form along with supporting documentation.

Dear Gumshoers, you can say what you wish, in Comments below, even if it is not strictly on the subject of human rights. The areas I am going to mention for Dee’s work include her utter devotion to Free Speech, and the long, long hours she puts into supporting Mums who are in court trying to be reunited with their child. But you can tell me about anything else. It needn’t to have occurred in 2021 — I will sort the wheat from the chaff.

My Draft So Far  (Sydney 2am Sunday):

Question 1 — Nature of the work: max 300 words:

Dee McLachlan is entitled to the admiration and love of the Australian people. She has worked for more than ten years, mostly behind the scenes, to right various wrongs that have taken hold in this country. And through an online journal that she runs, she gives voice to many who would not otherwise have a forum. Her championing of free speech is especially lively as she grew up in apartheid South Africa where censorship was all-encompassing. All her labor is pro bono.

I will limit the nomination to two topics — the aforementioned support for the basic human right of free speech, and Dee’s advocacy of parents’ rights to stay connected to their child. That latter is a topic in which free speech gets inhibited — “legally.” Section 121 of the Family Law Act, purportedly a protector of privacy for the child, functions to suppress some aspects of outrageous child trafficking. Dee also works at the details of the fact that child sex is a billion-dollar industry worldwide.

Many Mums, and some Dads, court-bereaved of their child, hear about Dee on the grapevine and ask for her help.  As Dee’s co-editor of Gumshoe News, I am in touch with her every day, from America, and often hear that she is exhausted from helping someone get through the court ordeal. The parental custody issued is linked to child trafficking.  Dee is a professional filmmaker. Her movie, “The Jammed,” is about the recruitment of Asian women to Oz as sex slaves. It won the Australian “best film” award in 2007.          257 words so far

Question 2 — The nominee’s approach to promoting human rights (max 250 words):

I don’t think Dee envisions herself as a human-rights worker. Rather, she goes about her day’s work as a citizen, reacting to the new authoritarianism that has hit Australia in recent years, and criticizing mainstream media for not dealing with it.

By founding an online journal, she opened up the gates for many intellectual Australians (not in academic occupations) to contribute ideas and to have valuable exchanges with one another. The day’s topic is one that may be “forbidden” elsewhere, be it Australia’s foreign policy, the harming of ecosytems by chemicals or fracking, the imprisonment of wrongly accused persons, or malfeasance in government.

Perhaps these are not standard human rights issues, but Dee’s journal GumshoeNews.com gives a human rights flavor to them. And her background in police-state South Africa, makes her extremely reluctant to censor anyone’s contribution.

If there’s any one thing the Gumshoe journal stands for, it is Truth. This is a direct result of the fact that this one Australian, Dee McLachlan, has truth running in her blood. (She is also an artist and a humorist; we are not talking about a dull preacher.) 189 words so far

Question 3 — What human rights issue(s) is the nominee addressing through their work? (max 250 words):

As specified, Dee McLachlan addresses the issues of free speech and parental rights. Also, whilst disapproving of the trans-gendering of children, Dee stalwartly protects adult trans-persons (of which she is one herself).  And I have noticed that she jumps to protect all LGBT’s from the latest outbreak of crazy criticism.

Dee is co-author of two books and author of five children’s books.

During the Covid crisis, Dee has become a noisy advocate of the right of persons to informed consent in medical treatment, and the right of “dissident” doctors to speak out. Her position on the vaccine and other mandates has now been vindicated by governmental backtrack, and by whistleblower confessions.

During some Melbourne marches of protest against the Lockdowns, Dee, with a media pass, risked injury to record the scene.

At the moment, I myself am in the USA standing for parliament, i.e., Congress. At many of my campaign stops I find myself wishing that Americans knew half of what GumshoeNews’ audience knows. If I succeed in my attempt to get elected, it will be down to the anti-deceit education that is patriotically offered by Dee to Austalians,  365 days a year.     198 words so far

  1. I support Dee’s nomination primarily in the field of Free Speech. I stumbled upon Gumshoes some years ago and was impressed with the site’s open and free expression. As a former barrister I was dismayed at the legal profession’s inability to even acknowledge a couple of my articles. However, Dee was happy to include them on her site.

    The second article is actually a short video on the Port Arthur Massacre. Whereas the previous article dealt with legal theory, this article deals with the legal concept of ‘evidence’. Again, no legal body, publication or even a mainstream body or publication would touch the article/video.     Dee is one of the unsung heroes for free speech in Australia and she deserves recognition.

      thanks for saying what I was thinking Terry. When I first stumbled across this website, it stood out to me, ( because such places, then, but more so now, were a rarity ) as a place to air a point of view, without comments being arbitrarily removed because a particular editor disagreed with what might have been said.

      the internet in its infancy, was a wondrous thing, and quickly grew to ba an amazing source of information that was soon to be taken over by nefarious powers to only allow certain points of view to be aired, free speech so long as what you say is what they want you to say. i was amazed at school to learn of book burnings during particular war times, ive recently learned that libraries in USA are having certain books banned, the fictitious Harry Potter books for example, because they contain spells.

      the world need more gumshoenews. over the years it has become demonstrably clear that Dee and Mary, are both passionate about being a voice for those that such advocacy is so important, the epitome of humanity, what human rights is all about.

  2. Dee, I was directed to Gumshoe by a friend who linked a particular article by James O’Neill – probably five years ago now.

    You taught me about WT7 – I had NO IDEA!! – and then others taught me about Port Arthur – I could never have imagined – and MH17 … . That’s about when my investigative reading journey started, with an emphasis on Russia, and then the penny dropped, the dots started to connect and all the pieces of the jigsaw started to fall into place. [That’s about as many metaphors as I can fit into a single phrase.]

    Then you and Mary sent me a copy of “Truth in Journalism” which opened my eyes (and brain) to the proverbial matrix and a whole new reality.

    Surely Truth is the most fundamental of Human Rights. Thanks for bringing it and setting us all on that quest – and congratulations in advance, Dee, a true Humanitarian.

    Dee McLachlan of http://www.gumshoenews.com definitely deserves a medal at least for her own fight with officialdom in the arena of human rights. Her outspoken voice on child kidnapping by our courts and the subject material being portrayed on her site of wide spread pedophilia in Australia are only two areas of human rights that she should be congratulated for.

    She has provided a platform for other people to write of their human rights concerns, that the msm wont touch. I, like Terry above have used this site to attempt to tell the real Port Arthur Massacre story. A human rights story of a man set up to take the blame for murders that he could not and did not commit. He has been in jail for 26 years for a crime designed by politicians and Intelligence Agencies. Other topics of human rights that I have covered using this site are the Sydney Siege and more recently the Covid-19 and “vaccination” hoax.

    On this website comments of the readers are encouraged be they agreeable to the writer or disagreeable.

    Without Dee supplying this platform many people would be without knowledge of the more realistic story of these human rights events.

    I for one say that she should be a nominee for the award. However because of her controversial stand against officialdom I believe she would be unlikely to have the medal awarded to her

  5. When covid restrictions first started and I had to get my medication each day from the chemist at Terry White Brighton road Brighton, I think July 2020. I was in a situation where I had to have my medication but I would of been forced to wear a mask or QR code or I would not of been allowed my medication. I was very unaware of my options or if i had any options , I reached out on telegram and Dee said she would meet me on the following morning and help me fill with a notice of lability against the pharmacy at 9.am the next morning and we would go and serve them . In the preceding 24 hrs I contacted the head office in Brisbane for Terry White Chemist and informed them I would be serving them a notice the following day and then got on their face book site of the local chemist at Brighton and let others know they where more than happy to not give a customer medication on a Government mandate and discriminate against a conspiracy theorist, as I was called a week earlier . It was less than 5 minutes and I had a phone call from the local pharmacy and they said they would give my medication out in the car park .
    Dee didn’t know me at all , and was willing to help me when i was in a very vulnerable situation and I will never forget willingness to help me .
    After that experience I went on to learn more about due process our rights and how we can better protect ourselves against government unlawful actions and to protect against the minions who are more than willing to strong arm and coerce fellow Australians who they think are at their mercy .
    Terry White Chemist where one of if not the most eager to force this on those as soon as they could .
    I will never forget Dee’s willingness to help me a complete stranger and will always be grateful for her kind act .

    • My local chemist had Quercetin and Zinc displayed right next to the cash register. They also were not over-excited about the dust-masks. Everyone should always consider where their money goes after it leaves their wallet.

    Like Terry above I was initially drawn to the site via Port Arthur coverage that couldn’t be found anywhere else.

    Thanks also for showcasing the fact that the justice system has morphed into nothing more than a means of concealing, and thereby accommodating, a burgeoning societal collapse

  14. I was lucky enough to be ‘found’ by Mary, another human rights ambassador, who later introduced me to Gumshoe and Dee.

    Both deserve a medal in my opinion. For their stalwart pursuit of truth and justice. Which is not limited to Gumshoe, but extends into many other arenas.

    Both gave me a voice when no others would. Engendering the malice of my merry tribe of trolls (which they handled with good grace, and a little bit of acid 😆.)

    My frustration is knowing that authorities will not acknowledge Dee, despite her impressive advocacy. For she speaks truths which ‘the powers that be’ cannot handle. Or need to hide.

    However, I commend Mary for the nomination.

    I think these comments mean more than any award could.

      We do not need them and a pox upon them.
      All should remember that Obama was given a Nobel prize for peace soon after inauguration. Who would want to be in that club. As Carlin stated, “ it is a big club and you ain’t in it”.

  17. AHRC are a discriminatory and abusive organization. They just believe in everyone except themselves having their freedoms removed, as is consistent with government policy. They would agree that the white Australia policy, did not breach human rights, because it was lawful. Just like covid mandates of vaccination, forced detainment, masking of anyone out of the womb, well anything goes.
    Who did they ever help anyway, except themselves, to close the gap, to Scott Morrison’s pay-grade. The first commissioner was a liar and perverted justice many times, gutting the finances of “non profit” “non government” independent except for Oz taxpayer, World Bank and the conned donations. The money just disappeared, like the kids, lockstep with the UNICEF and Austcare’s refugees. They are part of the cover-up, just like a Royal Commission.
    Good start, so who’s commissioner now, well its a testimonial trust expert(the money has to go somewhere), and a defender of the child porn industry(very woke) An expert on elder abuse and put that to good use during the covid years by, isolation, coercion, and a blind eye to the plight and deaths of the elders in state care.

    Mary I took Dee’s savvy position to not entertain a fake award as, ok, so I try and cast some light into this grotto. Modest too, classic Dee, taking up the government’s stated policies but somehow less that zero actions or results.

  18. For the record, I tranmitted the nomination at seven minutes before the deadline, hence it only included the first four comments above. Plus I added something, and submitted, in video form, the ten-minute Port Arthur thing as linked by Terry above.

    Now to explain last year’s winners, as pictured at top. The man on the left did interpreting for people during Covid. The runner was marathoning to get help for Afghan refugees to have their visa extended. The firefighters were fighting fire. The man on the right had brought into awarenes the problem of domestic abuse in LGBT households. All good causes.

    I ran out of photo space (I’m no Fair Dinkum) and so omitted the picture of an award-winning Aboriginal woman who is fighting the wrongness of the Maralinga contamination. This goes to show that when an evil deed is sufficiently old (1953), and has been outed, it becomes OK to talk about it on MSM.

    Dee, any century now, your work will be in the textbooks.

  19. This is the extra bit that came to me just in time to be included in the nomination:

    I also recalled that two recently-deceased doctors found a willing editor in Dee, where they had previously been turned down by others, i.e., Dr Allan Cantwell and Dr Erik Enby. But I did not take the time to mention that, as I figured my computer might slow down and prevent my timely filing.

    And yes, as above, Dee is annoyingly averse to receiving praise. So I want Terry, Berry, Fair, Simon, Mal, Diane, Cherri, Rachel, and Fritz, and myself, to realize that they have only ADDED TO HER SUFFERING.

      Elias Davidsson’s take on 9/11 remains the most credible I’ve seen:

      “In an interview with Ludwig Watzal in 2013, Elias Davidsson remarked that “It is possible that various states, including Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Israel, Germany, have provided the United States some assistance in preparing 9/11. However – and this is an important caveat – I do not believe that the governments of these states or even their intelligence services, knew about the plans of 9/11. The U.S. planners would have been foolish to share the plans of 9/11 with other states. Thus, it is likely that the Saudi authorities helped recruit some individuals to be used as patsies in the United States and later designated as hijackers. But it is unlikely that the Saudis were advised about the ultimate role of these patsies.” He remarked further that:
      ‘Larry Silverstein was and is a known real-estate mogul in New York. He is Jewish and a known friend of Israeli politicians, such as [Ariel Sharon]] and Benyamin Netanyahu. He was for many years the owner of WTC No. 7, a 47-floor building that housed, inter alia, New York City’s Emergency Center, offices of the CIA, SEC, the Secret Service and other government bodies. In 2001, the City of New York decided to lease out the Twin Towers to private investors. One of the bidders was Larry Silverstein.
      Larry Silverstein is suspected in some circles for the above reasons to be an accomplice to the mass murder of 9/11, in which several of his own employees died. Yet, he did not make any effort to cover his alleged tracks. He leased the WTC just six weeks before 9/11, announced this lease to the world, insured it against terrorism for a whopping $3.2 billion and “admitted” in a documentary film to have given on 9/11 the authorization to “pull” WTC 7 (that is to demolish the building). He then sued insurance companies for double damages, because each tower was hit by a separate aircraft, thus displaying what would be widely regarded as greed. He even admitted to have escaped death by canceling a meeting at the WTC on 9/11. And he has never attempted to conceal his friendship with controversial Israeli politicians, such as Ariel Sharon and Benjamin Netanyahu.
      We have here all the requisite elements: A greedy Jew, proximity to the crime, motive. It is precisely the high visibility of Larry Silverstein as an ideal villain that makes me hesitate to implicate him in the crime. His alleged complicity is simply too obvious. It is difficult to believe that a person implicated in planning arson would take out a lease of the building six weeks before the crime and announce his agreement publicly. It is even more difficult to believe that a smart businessman, such as Silverstein, would risk the electrical chair in a criminal enterprise whose outcome he could not foresee. It is far more probable that Silverstein was framed into leasing the World Trade Center by the real plotters, precisely because he is greedy, because he is Jewish and because his ties to Israel. More to the point: Silverstein was not in a position to manage the hijacking exercises conducted by the military on the morning of 9/11, not in a position to steer airplanes against buildings and not in a position to wire WTC 7 within hours to demolish the building. Whatever his alleged role in 9/11, if any, the coordinators of Operation 9/11 did not sit in his office, but presumably in the Pentagon, led by Donald Rumsfeld. Larry Silverstein, however, represents an ideal bogeyman.
      The fact that Mr. Silverstein did not demonstrate any interest in investigating the demise of the Twin Towers he had leased, is no evidence of malfeasance: In that he acted like most Americans, who till this day do not wish to ask questions and know the truth.
      Dov Zakheim is another such ideal bogeyman. He is an ordained rabbi who made it to a high position in both government and private business. He worked in the Pentagon between 1985 and 1987. From 1987-2001, Zakheim was CEO of SPC International, a high-technology firm that manufactures, inter alia, equipment to remotely control aircraft. During 2000, he served as a foreign policy advisor to George W. Bush. He was hired as a Comptroller of the Pentagon in the spring of 2001. On September 10, 2001 , Donald Rumsfeld, Defense Secretary, announced to a stupefied internal Pentagon audience that the Pentagon could not track $2.3 trillion dollars in its books. This statement disappeared, as it were, into the memory hole the next day because of the deadly events, but continues to be widely quoted by Jew-bashers, who connect these missing funds to Zakheim. A Google search on the string “$2.3 billion Zakheim” yields no less than 150,000 hits. But is it at all true that the Pentagon could not track $2.3 trillion, as Rumsfeld claimed? And if that was the case, could Zakheim make that money disappear from Pentagon accounting within a few months? And if he could do so, why wasn’t he accused, charged and prosecuted? But probably the most important question is: Why did Rumsfeld make at all this statement, and precisely on the eve of 9/11? Wouldn’t a political leader rather attempt to conceal such apparent malfeasance? Or was there a hidden motive behind this bizarre announcement?’ ”

  22. With Covid we are replaced, have a look at who’s working. These days, if doctors have second thoughts about injecting poisons into children they can be found guilty of a crime. Success depends on how you play the game and conform to their agenda. We can see clearly how a medical tyranny have become most profitable in cleansing undesirables.

    Side effects from jabs outweigh the benefits.
    It is criminal to inject children, causing physical problems, learning disabilities, autism, development problems and even death. All the liars are interested in is profit, mandating a war against most people, a reality difficult to digest because it is soo evil.
    They have no empathy, unfortunately, these types that succeed in corporations are the criminal psychopaths global kartel dictating satanism.

    Now we have more cameras than people, all tied to a central metaverse data base. Every move analysed. With CBDC, now boiling us frogs, using card or iPhone to buy anything. They have turned the planet into a prison.

      Ant, I am pretty sure money is not the motive. Let me venture 2 motives:

      Persons who invent some new scientific thing always want to carry it as far as it can be carried.
      The top layer of bad guys suffer from fear of having to answer to the masses. So, year after year, they have to increase their control.

      I figure our only hope is that they are running out of steam. But maybe they have bred a race (you know, the kids in cages in the basement) who have never known the good life and don’t know enuf to protest.

    • My view is that the more toxic with metals one is the more susceptible to these technologies you will be. They chuck junk in the water and in the processed food and packaging of clean food too.It can be removed too but now, nobody can escape all of it, but can be minimized and then cognitively understood allowing self control when you come aware.
