SNOW ANALYSIS
Sorry but I need to record this. 10am in Concord NH. A few minutes ago the snow turned to hail, as I noted from the sound on my window. I looked out and saw only a few pieces of the “hail”. I went out and photographed them. They have a sort of bubbly surround. I snatched 2 off the ground and put them on my kitchen table. They melted, but not to normal water. (If no one claims the patent, I will apply for the patent myself. )
Also want to record that at 8am the snow was not falling as normal. Picture a clock with 12 as the firmament and 6 as the ground. All my life I have seen snow falling SLOWLY and at a 180 degree angle, ending up at about 6 on the clock (the ground). (or at 5pm or 7pm if there was some wind.) But at 8am-ish, the snow was falling like in a big hurry and was falling in two “wind’ directions at the same time. Thus in one part of my backyard it came down to 4 or 5 oclock whilst in another part it came down to 7 or 8 oclock — quite a sight to see. I phoned Dee while it was happening.
Finally, for the record, there is now no precipitation but the sky is completely white — just as in Adelaide for the last 10 years. (Starts blue in Adl but ends up white by late afternoon).
