[Editors note: This article, from a new contributor Kim Skeltys, is about treatments for CoV2. He has written to the Chief Health Officer several times, and the correspondence provides great insight into the state of play in Victoria.]

By Kim Skeltys (copyright, 2020)

As a writer and former journo with time on my hands during Melbourne’s lockdown, I’ve spent countless hours obsessively researching Covid19 and possible treatments from around the world. Blame it on the X Files, but I’ve always believed their motto: the truth is out there! You just have to look long and hard enough, and turn off your doomsday TV.

And what gradually became clear is that there are successful treatments out there which are being used in mostly non-Western countries, that not coincidentally also have very low death rates from the disease, among them India, Cuba, Turkey, Morocco and Greece, as well as other treatments that have shown great promise in a number of studies.

The best, most evidence-based treatments are: hydroxychloroquine, if used early in the disease or as prevention, yes controversial and demonised in the West but widely used in India, Morocco and Cuba; its chemical relative, chloroquine, used in Greece and recently endorsed as a Covid19 treatment by the Chinese government; ivermectin, which in combination with doxycycline and zinc has been described by Sydney Professor Thomas Borody as a “cure” for Covid19; and high dose intravenous vitamin C, used with success against Covid19 in some hospitals in China and the US.

But with vulnerable elderly people dying every day in nursing homes in Victoria, I was bewildered why some of these treatments were not being used here. So I decided to write to Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, Brett Sutton, to send him this information in the desperate and perhaps naive hope that he might be persuaded, after looking at the evidence for their efficacy, to recommend the adoption of one or more of these treatments in Victoria.

And maybe my info could save lives, and who knows even change the course of history – with a little bit of help from Brett, of course – though I figured most likely he would just press “delete” when my email arrived.

So it was not unexpected when he didn’t reply to my first email (FIRST EMAIL PDF), sent August 12– perhaps because it was over 2000 words long! -but he did reply to a second much shorter email I sent, and a subsequent message, which impressed me given how busy he must be. He thanked me for sharing the information, and seemed to show interest in ivermectin, expressing some hope that it might work against Covid19, but did not say he endorsed it or any other of the treatments I’d suggested.

Though at first I wrote to Brett only to pass on information about promising Covid19 treatments, I now feel I need to share this story with the public, given the importance of the subject matter-  so hope you don’t mind Brett!

What follows are excerpts from our email correspondence, beginning with an edited version of the first part of the initial email I sent Brett Sutton.

Sent: August 12, 2020:

Subject: a plea to review treatments for Covid19 – Attn Brett Sutton.

I am writing to you as a member of the public and an ex-journalist … who is concerned about the daily tragic death rate in Victoria from Covid19. As I am currently an unemployed teacher, thanks to the virus, I have had plenty of time to do research on Covid and possible treatments! What has emerged from my research and also puzzled me is that there are treatments being used in some countries that appear to be very effective against Covid, yet health authorities in Australia, the US and many other Western countries have either rejected or neglected to study them.

For example, I was struck by this recent report in an Indian newspaper, that the Indian government is distributing 42 million tablets of hydroxychloroquine to its states, to be used “for the treatment of Covid19 patients and as prophylaxis” of the virus, on the recommendation of the Indian national Covid19 taskforce. The article states that according to the clinical management protocol used in India, “the drug should be used as early in the disease process as possible, to achieve any meaningful effects, and should be avoided in patients with severe disease.”

Another example is ivermectin. According to this report from Bangladesh, a team of physicians from the Bangladesh Medical College “has had tremendous success in treating Covid19 with a combination of anti-parasitic drug ivermectin and antibiotic Doxycycline”.

In a recent interview on Sky News, Professor Borody, Medical Director of the Centre for Digestive Disease, says his research shows that ivermectin combined with zinc and Doxycycline when used against Covid19 is so effective it could be called a Covid19 “cure”, yet the attitude of Australia’s health authorities so far has been “negative”.

And in China, there are reports of “many hospitals” using high dose intravenous ascorbic acid to treat Covid19 patients with “positive results”, according to Du et al in their paper The Application of High Dose Intravenous Vitamin C in Severe Respiratory Virus Infections – here is an excerpt: “ In the “Expert Consensus on Comprehensive Treatment of 2019 Coronavirus Disease in Shanghai City”… IVC is recommended when mild to moderate cases are at risk of progressing to more severe conditions. IVC is also recommended in “The Expert Consensus on the Clinical Rational Use of Medications of the New Coronavirus Pneumonia in Guangdong Province (Third Edition)” in preventing and reducing the “cytokine storm”

In fact, high dose IV ascorbic acid has been incorporated as part of the MATH+ Hospital Treatment Protocol developed by a coalition of US doctors including Dr Paul Marik and Dr Pierre Kory, which also involves corticosteroids and heparin, which the doctors have found to be very effective in hospitalized patients in the pro-inflammatory stage of the disease. The doctors say that hospitals that have adopted their protocol have been reporting mortality in Covid19 patients of between 4 and 10%, while the hospital mortality from published reports in the US, Italy and China “average approximately 23%”.

However, Australia’s health authorities have not recommended any of the above treatments, despite their potential to save lives…..

Despite no reply to my first email, undeterred I sent him a much shorter second one with some extra information about ivermectin use in a Toronto nursing home.

Dear Professor Sutton,

Sorry to bother you again, but just a brief email this time – in this video a woman whose 90-year-old mother was in a Toronto nursing home, wonders if the reason the home had no deaths from Covid19, despite staff being infected, was because all the residents had been given ivermectin to prevent an outbreak of scabies. Just anecdotal I know especially as the nursing home is refusing to comment, but impressive if it can be verified:

Also this is an interview with the first US doctor to do a study on ivermectin as a treatment for Covid19, Dr Rajter:

Trial Site News has a lot of interviews with doctors using Ivermectin for Covid.

Kind regards,

Kim

And to my surprise he actually replied to that one.

BRETT’S REPLY:

Dear Kim,

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. The issue with case reports is that these outcomes can be entirely related to something other than the apparent intervention. We have, in Victoria, literally dozens of COVID outbreaks in Aged Care with no deaths reported. This can be due to so many reasons.

Ivermectin has looked extremely promising in ‘in vitro’ studies with clear activity against coronavirus. But activity in human cases is entirely different and there’s some indication that dose levels required would need to be in a very toxic range.

I have no preconceived position on this or other possible therapeutics. But they all need to be judged no (sic) on case studies or expert reports or even case series with multiple patients. They need to be part of randomised controlled trials that are well designed and consider all other factors at play. I’m absolutely an advocate in this space but it’s really for our research community and TGA and clinicians to be the real judges.

Regards

Brett

The Correspondence Continued

On August 30 I emailed Brett more information on Covid19 treatments, including this report on a recent randomised controlled study from Zagazig University in Egypt that found ivermectin to be very effective as a prophylactic against Covid19, but had not yet been peer-reviewed:

He replied on August 31:

I’m not involved in decisions about potential treatments but it is good to see the hundreds of trials underway…… Will be good to see peer-reviewed publication of Ivermectin as therapy. It’s cheap, readily available and obviously promising in lab testing.

Brett

I was encouraged by Brett’s positive if qualified response to the use of ivermectin as a therapy for Covid19, and at that point even dared to hope it might not be long before Dan Andrews or Brett gave it their public endorsement.

But of course it was not to be. With the pandemic nearing its end here, the Victorian government has not publicly approved any of the treatments mentioned in my emails to Brett, and thus I have failed to change the course of history.

Prof Borody

Even the eminent Professor Borody, who did change the course of history when he developed an antibiotic therapy that killed the bacteria that caused stomach ulcers, and could have done so again I believe with his treatment for Covid19, was given the cold shoulder.

In a recent radio interview (August 30) with Chris Smith, Borody said he had written to the Victorian government about his treatment but “had no response”.

There is some good news on this front though- in the same interview Borody said he was able to run a trial of his triple therapy for the residents of some nursing homes in Victoria, but he wasn’t able to reveal which homes.

I don’t know why this has to be kept a secret, though I suppose we’ll find out when the trial results are published.

I did send Brett another email, this one with questions about the PCR tests used to diagnose Covid19, but he never replied.

Maybe he just didn’t have the time, or maybe it was because of the subject matter – about an article in the New York Times which questioned the accuracy of PCR tests, and found that the ones commonly used in the US give a high rate of false positives.

According to this BBC report, PCR swab tests work by using chemicals to “amplify the virus’s genetic material so that it can be studied. Your test sample has to go through a number of ‘cycles’ in the lab before enough virus is recovered.”

“Just how many can indicate how much of the virus is there – whether it’s tiny fragments or lots of whole virus.”

The problem though, as the New York Times discovered, it that the more cycles done with the material – the higher the “cycle threshold” – the more likely it is there will be a false-positive result, as the test can’t then distinguish between live virus or dead viral fragments.

Here are excerpts from the email I sent Brett:

Sent: Saturday, 05/09/2020

…. I believe it’s extremely important to bring to your attention this recent story from the New York Times on the high degree of false positives in the PCR tests used in the US, and believe this may have relevance for the testing done in Victoria and Australia.

Dr James Todaro on his twitter page summarised the findings of the New York Times article thus:

The NY Times is just realizing that a positive PCR test doesn’t necessarily mean a person is contagious. It’s estimated that only 10-30% of people who test positive actually have a high enough SARS-CoV-2 viral load to be infectious.

The key point seems to be if the PCR test has a cycle threshold set at 37 or 40, this may produce a high rate of false positives by detecting not only live virus but also harmless genetic fragments left over from previous infection.

My question is in Victoria, is a similar PCR test used to determine the Covid19 infection rate, and is the threshold cycle set at 37 or 40? If so, might this not be inflating the numbers of Covid positive cases? And if that is the case, shouldn’t the threshold be adjusted to a lower cycle level?

……From the New York Times:

In three sets of testing data that include cycle thresholds compiled by officials in Massachusetts, New York and Nevada, up to 90 percent of people testing positive carried barely any virus, a review by The Times found….

Kind regards,

Kim

So far, no reply from Brett.

Of course, if such tests are being used in Victoria and producing many false positives, then the justification for an extended lockdown falls apart, as well as its legality I imagine.

So Brett, I don’t take it personally that you didn’t reply to my last email. I am grateful you considered the information I sent you, and I hope you tried behind the scenes to advocate for ivermectin, though I have no idea if you did.

I also hope you changed your mind about the necessity for waiting for the randomised control trials to be done before a treatment could be approved for Covid19.

And if one day it is proven that ivermectin does work against this deadly virus, then Dan Andrews will have to explain why his government did not respond to Professor Borody during this pandemic.

And why so many lives that could have been saved were lost.

I wonder what you will say, Brett?

  1. Dear Kim Skeltys, welcome aboard the Gumshoe train. Lots of good material in your letters.

I would say that the Aug 17 and 31 letters from Brett are pure bedbug letters but upgraded to suit the sender.

The officials are all so PATHETIC.

    I like the ending.

  2. The underlings are writing soothing emails because the Vic govt is in a total panic now their own law is coming after them, everybody knows their amnesia is a total lie, they can’t duck and weave past this.

  3. Here’s another incident of bureaucratic nonsense, one that affects the food chain and is perhaps another intentional act to create food shortages. You have to watch it to believe it (fly 43 tonnes of hay from Melbourne to Sydney and then 14 days in quarantine)…

    https://youtu.be/ypsFLQ3inlY

    • TRULY AMAZING. For anyone to suggest flying the hay and putting hay into 14 isolation has completely lost it. Brain cells have been flushed down the drain

      • A rational response would be to let him cross the border to feed the sheep. No stopping, go straight there, stay at the property until the job is done, then straight back, no stopping. It is only 25 kms across the border, Hell, give him a police escort if deemed necessary.

I know Australian bureaucrats are idiots (they have to work for the government as they are not competent to work in private industry), but this situation is beyond absurd.

        • This place is run by bloodsucking parasites, with no practical skills to be found amongst them. They are the reasons why we are in this mess.

        • recently my step nephew returned from Victoria and had his 2 weeks in quarantine, meanwhile his 2 dogs were sent straight to his parents… so hay can be infectious, but not dogs? absolutely ludicrous!

  4. look up anna brees media and see Dr Heiko Schunning in london. He got arrested prior to speaking, they let him out next day. the bestseller about a fake epidemic the met police kept with his phone and laptop

  5. Well done Kim! A great attempt to steer the Victorian Government and medical authorities in the right direction. However as I found here in W.A. the politicians are on a fixed course, under instructions from foreign enterprises. They have no intention of changing from that program.

The medications you have indicated to Bret Sutton are known to be successful in the fight against the annual flu, because this is the real name of the disease of this time. There has still been no scientific proof provided that there is such a virus as Covid-19 and nobody has disputed this fact. If there was proof, it would have been “shouted from the roof top” to silence “fools” such as myself and Dr Tim O’Shea.

In regard to the PCR tests, which are a fraud for testing of a virus within a human body, you write as below to do with cycles within the testing procedure:

“Just how many can indicate how much of the virus is there – whether it’s tiny fragments or lots of whole virus”

Now a virus is not contagious. We have been told that the so-called disease causing viruses are actually a process that our own bodies perform to excrete toxins. How can there be a fragment of a virus to be found by this test? The tests are actually looking for DNA fragments. If the DNA fragment located is foreign how is it in your body? Answer, via vaccination. Could be recent or from the past.

  6. parallel universes Dee -time traveller – the Multiverse–couple of versions of Ozymandias Shelley may provide the portals to another reality-beyond the veil

    • I will view these, thanks Diane. But yes we do live in a parallel existence. And it seems the realities are starting to split apart. The question is… which side of reality will you exist in? It’s going to be difficult for those mask-monkeys and dark-force-controlled bureaucrats to jump ship. They are destined to be flushed down the toilet of history into a low vibration of fear and hell. I see no option for the human race but to wake from the control and begin to embrace what nature and the universe has provided.

  7. In regard to all the arrests of innocent civilians, why are they being handcuffed by police when no resistance has been shown? This is gross over reaction by the criminal cops.

          • I’m working on it T.S. I’m reminded of the words in Carrol’s “Through the Looking Glass” re legalese.

“When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.’ ’The question is,’ said Alice, ‘whether you can make words mean so many different things.’ ’The question is,’ said Humpty Dumpty, ‘which is to be master — that’s all.”

          • T.S. I’ve joined a few dots and tried to keep it short but I’d probably be banned for over length if I posted it. All that lawyers in the know can do is waffle because if they ever told the truth the dumb sheep might wake up and start a revolution.

          • Hell, I’ve been telling the ‘dumb sheep’ what is going on for more than a third of a century. They don’t seem to care, or maybe figure it is not their problem, or maybe ‘I got mine Jack’. Whatever, it didn’t matter how many speeches I gave (the first was out in Young, NSW in Feb, 1988 in front of more than 640 people). I wrote lots of articles, did videos – nothing – just a ‘she’ll be right’ attitude at best, an attack at worse.

I expect you read the article I linked to. The clowns in the Bar Association, when I first came to the Bar, sent me to see Barry O’Keefe QC to learn about the ‘heritage and traditions of the English’. Fork me, what a joke, he didn’t know crap about English Law. It was a lecture on ‘not rocking the boat’. LOL!

As you can see from the article, I knew more about English Law then the entire Bar Association did.

So there it is, the truth. The legal profession in Australia are a bunch of poorly educated hacks that are scamming everything for their own benefit. There are a few that I ran into that care about the Rule of Law (less than 5%), but there is little they can do in such a corrupt system. If they stick their head up too much, that is the end of their careers.

It was destroying me, I got out and it took me 5 years before I could start laughing at the absurdities I ran into. Call you “Your Honour”?? Crikey, you are the least honourable person in the court room – LOL,

          • Sorry, I was not referring to yourself but to all the professional liars in the legal fraternity and in politics. What would happen if they suddenly turned round and told the truth? Pauline Hanson is not included as she wouldn’t have a clue.

I would say that the justice system is like a poker machine. They give someone a win now and then just so that faith in the system is maintained.

The Colonial Courts of Admiralty Act 1890 is interesting.

          • “Pauline Hanson is not included as she wouldn’t have a clue.”

I tried telling Pauline what was going on, like you said she wouldn’t have clue – thick as a brick actually – although, I had a few discussions with her and I do believe she is a good person with good intentions.

I warned her that the ‘One Nation’ as set-up by Ettridge was a con and not a party. She disregarded all the research I did. I wonder what she thought when she was undergoing the body search after being convicted.

            I tried, silly woman…

          • T.S. As I was reading your article I copied down points you made to expand on but it would take up too much space, so my thoughts briefly –

Paul the apostle to the Romans – Romans 13:1-2

A translation of my Greek interlinear provided this –

“Every soul to authorities higher be subject to. For there is no authority if not from god, but the existing authorities under Me having been ordained are. So the one resisting the authority of his God has opposed and those having opposed to themselves judgement will receive.”

Luke 11:28 – But he said, Yea rather, blessed [are] they that hear the word of God, and keep it. Acts 5:29 – Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

From an article by Steve Quayle
“…….Romans 13 is in play until the government, ruling class, authority over you, whatever you want to call it, decides that it is the final arbiter and sets itself up in the position reserved for God alone. When the state or the government moves to exclude God and to erect itself in that position, a Christian has an obligation before God to expose and resist evil. Eph 5.11  have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. even if it means that resistance has consequences from those who assume power that you are resisting…………”

The Queen has reneged on her coronation oath to uphold the Christian faith

The Pirates of Finance operating from “The Crown City of London” which is not a part of Britain and which the queen needs permission to enter have now set themselves up as the highest authority with their Law of the Sea/Admiralty/Maritime law/Statute law.

“…………………On one occasion I told honourable senators that the people who sent us here are under the impression that the 111 members of Parliament in Canberra comprise a national government engaged in the task of ruling Australia. I have told the people repeatedly that their assumption is entirely wrong and that Australia is governed by the associated banks.

Under the present system no government, can carry on its functions except by continuing the policy of borrowing. The only way to pay the ever-increasing interest bill is by borrowing still more. All money comes into existence through the banks in the form of a debt. That is why we are called upon to pay such tremendously high taxes to-day.

I have spent a considerable part of my life expounding my financial theories to the people, hoping that they will some day realize what a racket is being put over them under the present financial system, and that an obligation rests on the shoulders of every member of this Parliament to scrap it…………………”

    • Mal, it was interesting to see the ‘before and after’ of Zoe’s arrest. Before the arrest she said we lived in a free country. After her arrest she was asked if she would attend the protests, she said “no, I’m too afraid”.

She has had a wake-up call. So many Aussies need that wake-up call.

Then after the clueless (like Zoe) have had time to digest the implications of what is going on, then they have to decide what they are going to do with their lives. – In Zoe’s case, she has to decide what to do for her children’s lives.

I don’t expect her to do anything.

      • I immediately got the impression that Zoe was ‘part of the act’, camera conveniently left running, footage of the ‘gentle’ arrest sent straight to the media immediately before the planned freedom march just in case real people turned up in large numbers.
I might be wrong, but all these ‘crisis actors’ are not being hired for nothing,

        • Gary, Zoe wasn’t only allowed to do the filmng — the cop said to her, “Gotcha camera rolling? OK.” or similar. I vote “actress”.

Anyway, Zoe if you’re reading this and are innocent, please sue the state for entering your home and scaring you while pregnant. It is bad for the baby.

“He shows stunning evidence that there is a globally orchestrated campaign underway to deliberately hinder the growth of food crops, to destroy crops that exist, to destroy food storage facilities, to prohibit people from growing their own food, and to terminate traditional methods of farming and ranching. The purpose of this agenda is to create food shortages so the masses will be so preoccupied with receiving emergency food from the government they will be forced to comply with all government directives, no matter how harsh, or starve.”

[Note to Dee, I am being asked to login afresh to make this comment!]

  10. The vax is the mark of the beast. The technocratic world disorder is the alliance of crown kabal communists worldwide. An international collection of perverts and pedophiles. Puppets positioned to lead dystopia to Armageddon. The only way to avoid this artificial insanity is non participation and mass protests. Taking it to the streets in peaceful marches, just like the people in Europe are doing now. No need for violence because they have all the guns and poisons, ready to inject.
The factory in Geelong has been preparing for this event, for nearly seven decades. Wake up.
Gandhi did it without guns, we can also if we try.

  11. Why anyone would try to reason with any so-called elected member is quite frankly beyond me.
If and when the need to corner one arises I always stick to this format:

“Dear Sir/Madam I would like to present you with the opportunity of formally repudiating any of the findings set out below. If you are unable or unwilling to do so I would appreciate a full and proper explanation. I look forward to hearing from you, or not hearing from you, as the case may be”

  12. It was 1999 when I finally realised that the stupid bureaucrats were by no means stupid, merely sadistic about fobbing us off with nonsensical rationales. This is intended to make us behave irrationally, which alienates our fellow Australians. Nice tactic.

And having removed our guns, what next can we do? Can we fall back on passive resistance, like Ghandi. Ghandi failed, in case nobody noted. He led India and East and West Pakistan up a blind alley from which they have never found their way. And India is locked into erratic vacillations between self-seeking dynasties and Hindu Nationalist extremism.

Pauline Hanson saw the obvious and fought it, but was too stupid and self-absorbed to research her subject. Australia First lent her someone who did, John Pasquerelli, who wrote her famous parliamentary maiden speech. A survey the next day found 94% of Australians agreed with her including, obviously, immigrants. Revolution was on the threshold.

So she sacked Pasquerelli and the research assistants he hired. She destroyed her own movement.

Hanson serves one purpose and that is: she proved that if we all stand up and say what every other real Australian is saying, we can take our country back. If this means throwing CEOs of banks off roofs, so be it. It worked like a charm in China. For those who wail “No violence” understand this, that in 1994, Australian Army officers were advised that they will one day be ordered to fire on Australian citizens (British were told the same). I asked the soldiers who told me this, what would they do? They said they would shoot the officers first.

In Darwin, we have no illusions. The US has 4000 Marines and warehouses full of tanks to handle any rebels that pop up here. In the old days, Territorians would have thrown them out but these good people have been replaced by southern bogans.

I’m afarid the fight will have to emanate from the East Coast, at least in the early days. But fight it wil be. The time for talking had passed in 1975.

Examining the ‘virus’ and the ‘testing’:
GreenMedInfo article 22 July, on Dr Thomas Cowan’s idea that 5G associated radiation induces cell changes that are being identified as being caused by COVID – an idea that was discussed widely early in the ‘pandemic’, but dismissed as “conspiracy theory” by MSM and government officials.
Detoxification of damaged cells naturally produces debris that the body seeks to be rid of. “It may be mistakenly identified as exogenous viruses and thus give a false positive on RT-PCR tests, which are notoriously bad at positively distinguishing specific strains of viruses and identifying them with any certainty.”
I have read elsewhere that Dr Kary Mullis (died Aug 2019), who invented the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test in 1983, said himself that it should be used for research purposes only, not for medical diagnosis.
I cannot find where Dr Mullis said this himself, but p6 of https://biswaroop.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/coronabook_Full_book_%202200420_web.pdf (1083 pages) states: Q3 – Now the question arises how do we get to know whether a person is a patient of corona virus or covid?
Answer: There is only one way – rtPCR Test-Reverse transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction Test – a test kit by which you can diagnose whether a patient has contracted coronavirus or not. As with almost every other thing, when a rtPCR kit is bought, a manufacturer’s manual is provided. In the manual it clearly says under Regulatory Status – ‘For Research Use Only, Not For Use In Diagnostic Purpose’. 5 “This has also been said the inventor of this kit, Kary Mullis” 6
The PCR tests are a fraud, but try finding evidence of this and you’ll be buried deep for years! Several hours searching left me in no doubt whose side Dr Google is on – literally pages to derail the test doubters. Here I share a few ‘laughables’:
    – “fact check” by Reuters 4 July 2020, trying to stop social spreading the word that PCR tests don’t work. What is actually being fact checked is not the validity of the test, but whether the quote came from Mullis! Reuters clarifies that the quote is from an article written by John Lauritsen in Dec 1996 about HIV and AIDS, not COVID -19.
Regardless of who said it, the “fact check” explanation continues with about Lauritsen’s writing: Lauritsen isn’t saying PCR tests don’t work, but they detect genetic sequences of viruses, “these tests cannot detect free, infectious viruses at all”…
    – PCR test is the preferred COVID-19 testing method in places like UK, as one Public Health England spokesperson told Reuters: “Molecular diagnostic tests, such as real-time PCR, are the gold standard methods for identifying individuals with an active viral infections, such as SARS-CoV-2 (the cause of COVID-19), in their respiratory tract. These tests are rapid and produce results in real-time.” Detecting viral material by PCR “does not indicate that the virus is fully intact and infectious” and to isolate the infectious virus would require time and complex methods that can “only be conducted in laboratories”….

On 22 July AAP FactCheck sought to debunk a video going viral on Facebook that claimed the PCR-test inventor said the tests do not work to properly diagnose COVID-19 infections. (Since Dr Mullins died in August 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic, it seems reasonable that he could not have connected his test validity with COVID-19 per se). AAP’s analysis: “the quotes attributed to PCR test inventor Dr Kary B. Mullis are not from the Noble Prize-winning American biochemist.” Since Dr Mullis died six months before the WHO named the disease, it is “impossible for the late doctor to have spoken about COVID-19”.
In my view, the problem with the above ‘analysis’ is that it neglects to mention the family of viruses from which COVID-19 supposedly comes, ie the ‘family’ about which Dr Mullins’ PCR was directly concerned (if I have understood correctly)– and had said of his own test “that it should be used for research purposes only, not for medical diagnosis.”
In apparent-to-me DIRECT contradiction, Dr Ian Mackay (virologist & adjunct associate professor with Uni of QLD): the tests are “extremely effective at very sensitively and specifically detecting SARS-CoV-2”… “the test detects the viral sequences we expect them to and not other viruses”. “PCR tests are in fact designed to look at partial viral sequences”, so NOT the entire sequence of a virus. “Detection [of] the virus (which real-time PCRs do) is all that is needed”.
https://bpa-pathology.com/covid19-pcr-tests-are-scientifically-meaningless/ is an excellent article for those interested in more detail!
https://uncoverdc.com/2020/04/07/was-the-covid-19-test-meant-to-detect-a-virus/ 7 April 2020 gives some insight into Dr Mullins & his ‘challenges’ regarding HIV/AIDS, as well as his PCR discovery. He is not a fan of either Fauci or Gallo.
I mentioned Google’s (lack of) “help” when searching “Kary Mullis PCR test purpose”: aap factcheck; reuters fact check; theconversation; virologydownunder; europepmc; ncbi ALL support the validity of PCR for Covid-19. They don’t want us thinking otherwise!
We may question the existence of COVID-19, the severity, the alternative treatments, the tests… BUT as Aussiemal suggests, the science is still being written about viruses, so whether they are contagious is another big question.

  14. The False Positive Rate on PCR tests is massive: over 90% so there are no real new “cases” – the real science is now out of the bag care of Professor Carl James Heneghan director of the University of Oxford’s Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine. see video below and indict all governments everywhere….
