This is just NOT Jim Foley’s arm. It looks fake – definitely shaved and much ‘leaner’, and most likely a CPR dummy. He might have lost weight, but he didn’t in his face.
So is this why the UK said that viewing this video (which shows no blood – except after the fact) should NOT be watched – and that by watching it, one could be prosecuted for a terrorist offence. Report Here. Truly astounding. So the mainstream media can exploit the images just before – with over-sized front page pics – but you – you UK citizens – you might be criminally prosecuted for watching THIS specific video. You can watch any other beheading, but not this one. This reeks of a cover up – and trying to suppress too much inspection of a video that is fake and will not stand up to scrutiny.
But why?
Maybe Foley was executed some time ago, and IS wanted some mileage – or ransom out of this? Maybe certain agencies decided to fake this specific event for an undisclosed military agenda?
But the publicity of this video has ignited and united world leaders into action – proving to us that any further military action in the Middle East is justified. And as the ‘killer’ spoke with a London accent – this could increase the risk of the terror coming home. Putting fear into the hearts of citizens in ‘safe’ Western countries will allow and justify further surveillance and erosion of privacy.
There are now loads of sites declaring this fake – with photographic analysis of Foley’s facial markings etc and comparison of images. There are voice comparisons etc. Just some here and here and here plus so much more. I haven’t the time to verify all this material. But when I first heard the video was fake – I was skeptical. Why would IS fake it? But on a quick inspection of Foley’s arms – I agree. The video is fake. But most likely Foley has been or had been executed. He might have spoken those words – and apparently these hostages were put through several mock (beheading) scenarios. Truly horrible.
Interestingly, Foley was a hostage in Libya for 44 days (video). And we know Libya was a designed revolution by western interests. And so was Syria – and again he was captured.
Well, I have to agree – the knife looks fake – plastic. Jim Foley below. IN general this requires more analysis. 
I did find a photo of a group of men that had been beheaded. Could Foley be the deceased person on the right hand side in this Original link to image. There were two photos and the one has been removed. I had posted a portion of the photo – but in this update – I have removed it (even though it had an uncanny resemblance).
All in all – this violence and such horrific actions happening across the Middle East is truly distressing
