Dear Gumshoers,

Yesterday, November 15, 2019, I became a presidential candidate in the New Hampshire Primary (which will occur in February 2020). Not joking. It is easy here to become “presidential” and fifty of us citizens did so this week. (30 donkeys, 20 elephants.) You slap down a thousand clams, swear that you are native-born and over 35, and you are in.

It was recommended that we make up a slogan — mine is “hardcore Constitution.” I guess it could have been “hardcore conspiracy theory,” but I was emotionally carried away by the marble halls of the State House.

Dee made up a press release for me which will be shown below. Naturally I lack the “machine” to participate in the Iowa Caucus, Super Tuesday, or all that fancy stuff.  As I learned in Alabama, only CNN-backed candidates get coverage anyway. I was popular on the hustings but only the three top men were ever shown or mentioned on TV.

The Framers of the Constitution intended that a prez get picked by a “College of Electors.” What a nice idea.

In today’s Concord Monitor there is nary a mention that perhaps the only Concord resident since Franklin Pierce  “filled out the form.”  Actually, a local man did try it yesterday, using the name “Epstein Didn’t Suicide” but the Secretary of State of New Hampshire wasn’t having it.

That said, it was a joyful experience for me. My goal is to make the most of traditional New Hampshire republicanism. People hang onto their independence here.  For example, two things you can do that are forbidden elsewhere are: eschew seatbelts and buy raw milk.

The other day, as I was riding from Concord to Manchester NH on a minibus, a state trooper pulled out and swerved in front of us, then stationed his car horizontally on the road. Such is the Orwellization of our lives that I wondered of he might board the bus and arrest me for having dissident thoughts. (I was, of course having dissident thoughts.)

Nope, he was just stopping traffic so Vice Prez Pence could ride by smoothly, to the airport. Pence had just come from signing Trump’s name into the book for the New Hampshire primary.

Only a few of the 50 signers are big names — Donald Trump, Joe Biden (fathom it), Elizabeth Warren (formerly of First Nations), and ex-governor of Massachusetts Deval Patrick who is one of the “stars” in my Marathon book.

Oh, and Tulsi.  On Veteran’s Day, she and some Navy Seals did a one-hour workout on the beach in California. I’ll play the tape below.

Now here is the Press Release:

CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE, UNITED STATES, November 16, 2019 — Mary Maxwell filed today, November 15, as a Republican candidate in the NH presidential primary. She is age 72, a conservative, who says her position is “hardcore Constitution.”

She lives in Concord, New Hampshire, and plans to visit towns around the state, asking citizens for their suggestions as to what our Republic needs now. Mary Maxwell describes herself as a states’ right maniac, urging devolution to the states, and removal of all unconstitutional involvement by the Congress in matters not assigned to the feds per Article I, sec 8. (e.g., education and health).

Mary grew up in Boston but moved to Australia in 1980 for marriage. Her husband, George Maxwell, MD, died in 2000. She came back to the US in 2005, living in Concord, and ran for the House of Reps seat held by Charlie Bass. She got 11 percent of the vote. In 2017 she came to the US again and campaigned for the US Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions in Alabama. She lost the nomination to Judge Roy Moore.

In 2017 Mary filed a lawsuit against President Trump — a war-powers case — for his unconstitutional threat to nuke North Korea. She is a graduate of University of Adelaide Law School, with a BA from Emmanuel College Boston, and a PhD in Politics from Adelaide. At GumshoeNews.com, a Melbourne news outlet, she is Opinion Editor and writes a column. Maxwell has produced five plays, all at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Among Mary’s 14 books are Prosecution for Treason, Fraud Upon the Court, and Consider the Lilies: A Review of 18 Cures for Cancer and Their Legal Status. Most recently she has written Reunion: Judging the Family Court about what she calls “judicial kidnap.” The court cases she inspected were mainly in Australia, but the same problem exists in the United States. It is outrageous.

Being hardcore Constitution, Mary wishes to greatly emphasize the beauty of the Electoral College. She will happily address any audience on this topic. Also, she is a die-hard for the Second, Fourth, and Sixth Amendments. Maxwell regularly attends the Gun Owners’ meetings at the Holiday Inn in Concord.

Currently, Maxwell is serving as an amicus curiae in the Tsarnaev (Boston Marathon) case which is at the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Her 2019 book on this topic is entitled The Soul of Boston and the Marathon Bombing. Mary wants to wake people up about the fraudulent conviction of Jahar Tsarnaev. That book is freely downloadable at GumshoeNews.com.

This week, Mary went to the New Hampshire State House, intending to file as a candidate in the NH primary for the position of US vice president, but was told that recent legislation, alas, has made this no longer possible. So, she stepped up to the higher job!

Please contact her at MAXWELLMARYLLB@gmail.com to arrange an interview. She is mainly interested in talking to locals about reviving the hugely important tradition of “New Hampshire republicanism” — which the rest of the nation badly needs. Mary says: “The Constitution is a miracle that can save us. Honest.”

Wikipedia Entry

The Wikipedia entry for “New Hampshire 2020 primary now says this, but it’s incomplete:

“The following candidates are on the ballot, and listed in order of filing:

  • Rocky De La Fuente, California
  • Rick Kraft, New Mexico
  • Donald Trump, Florida
  • Star Locke, Texas
  • Robert Ardini, New York
  • Eric Merrill, New Hampshire
  • Stephen B. Comley, Sr., Massachusetts
  • Bob Ely, Illinois
  • Zoltan Istvan, California
  • Matthew John Matern, California
  • “President” R. Boddie, Georgia
  • Bill Weld, Massachusetts
  • Juan Payne, Alabama
  • Joe Walsh, Illinois
  • William N. Murphy, New Hampshire
  • Mary Maxwell, New Hampshire

“Write-in votes are encouraged, and in the past, two candidates, Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr. in 1964 and President Johnson (1968) actually won in such a way.”

What Is an Inchworm?

As for Tulsi’s Navy Seal exercises, start the tape at  49 minutes if you want to find out what an inchworm is. With a little practice I’m sure I’ll be able to best her in that regard….

A Further Thought

Tulsi Gabbard claims she is bipartisan-ish.  I’m thinking that maybe if I hang back on my calisthenics (you know, so as to not upstage Tulsi’s form or figure), she will reward me.

Well, that’s how it’s done, isn’t it?

Goody. I’ll settle for the Attorney-Generalship.

  1. Go for it Mary! I can really see you as the next President of the United States. If I could I would be by your side helping you. Defending the US Constitution is exactly what America needs.

What are ‘write-in votes’. Can a Canadian do that?

    • Thanks, Josée. No.

You have to get into the polling booth (with a “suitable pencil,” if you know what I mean) and the Canadian would not have been on the list of registered voters in NH.

I was surprised to learn that LBJ (1964) got the NH primary nomination by use of pencil.

There are so many surprises in life….

    • Nedski, did you see where the coach does the army slither under his wingman, and then jumps over his wingman SiDEWAYS?

Tulsi does it too. How could H sapiens have developed a mechanism for that? If you needed to jump over an obstacle, wouldn’t you turn 90 degrees and bolt FORWARD?

      • Above, Josée Lépine says “Defending the US Constitution is exactly what America needs.”

So that’s my job from now until the Primary of Feb 11, 2020. I will measure events in the US (such as the coming “age of Artificial Intelligence”) against the political power structure that was carefully designed by the Framers (e.g., Madison) in 1787.

I imagine i will get wonderfully punished for doing that, but right now we’re all getting wonderfully punished by letting it go unsaid.

Dee, I must take this moment to thank you for pulling together the Gumshoean narrative as to where we are headed. We are all in your debt for identifying the problems as they arise. You never let it “go unsaid.” Yay!

      • Mary,
Thank you for consistently good investigative journals and practical courage that inspires always. Truth is best against tyranny and we need honesty in the political arena so much these days. Taking it to the people is the only way. All the best in the positive.

  2. Go Mary Go – my humble contribution to your story–received today

    https://newsmaven.io/indiancountrytoday/news/she-makes-history-LnWicC3NNU2Uk3-Zg-x6uA/

“Creator and Great Mother, bless those standing before you who carry a sacred trust to all of us who inhabit Turtle Island, our homeland … and I pray today that you will give the wisdom and courage to carry out their sacred trust,” Chief Justice Teller said in her invocation.

Teller was introduced by the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.

  3. Whew, Diane. Like big whew.

I alter it slightly: “Creator, bless those in government who carry a SACRED TRUST to all of us in this country, and give them the wisdom and courage to carry out their sacred trust.”

Diane, further down on the page you linked, there is this news item:

“When Westmoreland Energy, a coal company, dug up a huge [Native American] bison killing grounds on the reservation with a backhoe to make way for mining, investigators determined the damage violated federal law and would cost $10 million to repair, documents show. But nothing happened – no fines, no repairs and no compensation.”

That last sentence is what I am all about. There is NO NEED to deviate from Rule of Law. There is no need whatsoever for the privileged to be protected from penalties. We have already got what it takes to accomplish justice. Don’t need no fancy new inventions. GOT IT ALL.

  4. I can’t wait for the debates.
The very first time I saw Mary Maxwell was on a Youtube during her 2006 Campaign. She was 12 years ahead of Trump and all the others. She was banging her fist on the table when facing the press, calling them weak and telling them off — asking them why they won’t ask the hard (honest) questions. Nothing has changes. Go Mary.

  5. Mary, whilst you are saving the American constitution, show the Dems what a soul is for! You are full of soul. The very best kind. Yaaayyyyy!!!

    • Proud of you, too, young mother, for starting a new political party in SA to protect kids. I’ll bet the pedo rings are having massive strategy meetings (globally, of course) to deal with the likes of you. (You should expect to be smeared, if not killed). You wrote:

“An unelected official — the Chief Executive [guardian of state wards] — has been given the power over the future generation. Has the Chief Executive more power than the elected government itself (both state and federal)? I believe so, as the PM cannot intervene, and so too for any minister.”

      https://gumshoenews.com/2019/11/08/who-is-actually-in-charge-of-south-australias-children/

Renae, there is no exact parallel to the guardianship situation in the US, as the family law here is always state, not federal. But your discovery, and I mean BIG discovery — that the parliamentarians are not in charge of Parliament — does have a parallel re other issues in Congress. It’s often said that AIPAC runs the show (for the benefit of Israel). I agree that Congress is not in charge of Congress, but I strongly feel that the AIPAC set-up is a misinformation clue.

I know I’m outside the ballpark on this but I will hold to my theory until proven wrong. And I say that, in spite of “visual evidence” to the contrary as here:

      • “It’s often said that AIPAC runs the show (for the benefit of Israel). I agree that Congress is not in charge of Congress, but I strongly feel that the AIPAC set-up is a misinformation clue.”

There are many groups that could do the role that AIPAC is reputed as having. And I agree that this could be another ‘plantation’ we must avoid so your comment that it is a misinformation clue (indeed the whole JQ) must always be kept in mind. Thank you, Mary.

  6. Congrats wonderful lady, I Know your a ‘tough’ cookie, please be careful out there, its an oil slick of a jungle… Mwah! xx

    • Cherri, my sweet, do me a favor? Would you please write a song about Jahar Tsarnaev? You will find some hints for lyrics on page 151.

Free download of “The Soul of Boston and the Marathon Bombing” at my [outdated] website maxwellforsenate.com, or at the top of this Gumshoe page, by the word “books.” Ta.

    • Shhhhh, JnJ, Tasmania _opium patches (OK full blown industrial production).
O China, but the good stuff grows wild down those parts?

  8. “Only the small secrets need to be protected, the large ones are kept secret by public incredulity – Marshall McLuhan”

Oh brother, Diane, that is so true. It is sooo easy to make people refuse to look at reality. They are so afraid to be criticized if they don’t accept the popular story.

Like one would die from being criticized? I don’t think so. Look at me, making a complete fool of myself by signing up for the Big Job. Am I going to die from looking foolish? I don’t think so.

  9. Oops, a friend just emailed me these campaign suggestions:

    Max with Maxwell!
Put your pedal to the Max!
    Maxwell Smartest
    Constitution not Ruination

then she said “for your facebook page….” OMG OMG, I don’t do facebook.

    HELP! Mommy! Daddy!
