Parents Reveal Being Hit and Bit by Aggressive Autistic Sons and Daughters

The Age of Autism website has been running for many years. Two of its main these are the search for pharmaceutical responsibility for autism, and helpful support for families.

One seldom hears the worst of the worst at that particular website, although you can read between the lines when a Dad says “In all these years we have never once gone to a restaurant as a family.”

However, on December 8, 2017, ageofautism.com published “Violent Aggression and Autism: The Hidden Shame, Secret, Cover Up.” Rather than printing it here I will print the 13 comments that were sent in. Since it is sort of a private website, where an exhausted Mom can let it all hang out, I won’t give the names. I will just say Commenter A, B, etc.   The parents in the above photo have already held a news conference in Halifax to say how few services are available in Canada for their 9-year-old-son. The article says “families across Canada are reporting more severe cases of aggressive behaviour, and a lack of help.”

Note: you will encounter the word “neurodiversity movement” below. It refers to writings that praise autism, Aspergers, etc, as being a spectrum of talents. I agree that many autistic people have great talent, and I understand why high-functioning people with a diagnosis on the autism spectrum are offended when someone says they should be “cured.” The discussion of neurodiversity here, however, is about a media campaign to distract form the problem of severe autism.

Commenter A. Severe autism is often not just autism but a combination of issues including such as mental health, language issues, intellectual disabilities and OCD. My son age 44 still exhibits violence and there is little help when he goes off the deep end and destroys, putting holes in the wall, and with his terrific strength he throws chairs, stools, and breaks glasses. Recently mine broke a window too. Our adults are overlooked and they need help. We can train police in dealing with those with IDD or autism but when crisis intervention is needed and hospitals refuse to see these individuals then what can we do? Yes, I wonder what will happen next. He has thrown things at me too!

Commenter B. Big Government (CDC) paired with Big Industry (Pharma) have embraced, promoted and pushed the Neurodiversity movement because it let’s them off the hook; the more people who believe autism is just “wired differently”, the less people will want to prosecute them for the autism epidemic.

No crime, no punishment, they are free to keep on keepin’ on. Now it’s rare to see anything BUT the ND point of view in media or government panels.

Parents who speak up about the horrible truth are told to stop being so negative. It is truly a world gone stark, raving MAD.

Commenter C. Actually, the neurodiversity movement – and its influence- is much more than the media. You’re right that the media likes to print shiny, happy autism stories, and tends to ignore individuals with autism who are non-verbal, self-injurious, or aggressive.

But, neurodiversity proponents also influence policy and research directions. They dominate the IACC (the Inter-Agency Autism Coordinating Committee) which funnels funding from the Autism CARES Act (used to be the Combating Autism Act) to agencies for research. The neurodiversity proponents tend to be anti-cure and anti-prevention, so no money goes for prevention or cure of autism. There’s not much spent on treatment either – there hasn’t been a single new, effective treatment or therapy for autism for at least a decade.

Neurodiversity advocacy forced Autism Speaks to change their mission statement so that AS is no longer looking for a cure. Prominent neurodiversity proponent Ari Ne’eman used to sit on the President’s Disability Council. Neurodiversity proponents have co-opted almost every major autism organization. Books like Neurotribes, by Steve Silberman, celebrate autism and ignore its deficits.

Commenter D. [Dear Commenter C]  this might be stating the obvious but the “neurodiversity movement” IS the media, who have farmed a few token “differently abled” to be spokesmodels for the project/campaign. Why does the media exist? To promote products. It’s all the same product being promoted in the end, whether it be Dorit pushing memes on social media and advising mommy bloggers and industry “science writers”, or large media companies tasked with painting an absurd fictional personalization of actual iatrogenic fallout. Pharmaceuticals.

The cumulative effect of capture, and not just regulatory capture but cultural capture, is a population of philosophically captured citizens. “Consensus” is the new religion, but it’s also just a new costume for a very old one; Authoritarianism.

Commenter C (again). Kim – I know you’re friends with John Elder Robison, who sits in the IACC and is an activist within the neurodiversity community. What is the IACC position on severe autism? Are they addressing the issue at all? What are Mr. Robison’s solutions to the problem?

Would really love some insight…even more would love some solutions. So many families are suffering.

My son was violent, aggressive, and self-injurious in adolescence – he punched holes in the walls. He hit his leg so many times he developed permanent bruises and the hair fell off. He would scream for hours between midnight and 3:00 a.m. He gave me and my husband bruises (fortunately he wasn’t a biter). The psychiatrist had no answers. I understand some of what these families go through. No one wants to end up like Trudy Steuernagel, beaten to death by her severely autistic son.

Commenter E. If they would only do so, Autism Speaks is well positioned to help families whose autistic children manifest occasional meltdowns and aggressive behavior. Our 18 yr-old daughter has both autism and Lyme Disease and rarely sleeps without tearing her sheets and blankets. We just paid an enormous amount to a highly specialized lab for blood tests to help diagnose what is going on with her. These tests were not covered by insurance. Thankfully, the results gave some clues that a specialized doctor could use to fashion a well-targeted treatment protocol. There are only a handful of doctors with such capabilities. We know who they are, and none accept any insurance let alone Medicaid. Autism Speaks could be helping families like ours afford treatments with doctors that could help our daughter. Otherwise, we’re faced with placing her in an institution, which in our state is a life sentence of dependence, psychotropic drugs, no friends, no job or hope for the future.

Commenter F. I do not know why they ignore severe autism but it is probably because it isn’t pretty and not compatible with their ideology/worldview. They live in fantasy land.

The series on TV aren’t interested in reality either. In the real world someone with autism would very unlikely become doctor even with savant abilities. They would not be able to handle stress, lack social skills etc.

Also the doctors that we see on TV are usually brilliant or geniuses while they are often brainwashed morons in the real world. If they weren’t the current fraudulent healthcare system would collapse.

The media might give exposure to various movements as long as they do not threaten profits while ignoring anything that could harm the bottom line.

This leads to the promotion and spreading of ideas that have little to do with the real world.

Commenter G. My 23-year-old son (286 lb) is very high functioning (straight A’s in some junior college courses), and he can still have the very sudden violent outbursts.

It’s a good thing that we are having snow in Houston today; the long sleeves cover the 2 inch black-and-blue bruise on my arm. He bit me through a sweatshirt jacket at the video arcade, after losing a video game.

Commenter H. I see and hear of this often in the educational system. For whatever reasons, there are several students on the spectrum that can truly become a danger to self or others. Even the school system is guilty of minimizing the problem, possibly not wanting to admit that they cannot handle some situations. Group home staff and parents want the child at school, understandably.

Commenter J. I know many families with autism in this same situation. They have honestly followed all the scientifically approved…and alternative treatments for their child…diet, supplements, drugs, removing metals, ABA, etc. Nothing helped.

If I won the lottery, I’d love to have an extended living situation to help these individuals with aggressive autism. I truly believe they can be helped if only ‘we’ could find their key. I know one family who is succeeding by reducing the testosterone in their son. Is aggression more prevalent in boys than girls? We need a focus on helping these families and giving true hope. They do love their child and we all need to work together.

I look back on my own child who had, what I called, ‘good day and bad day’ syndrome. My goal was more good days. It can be that simple.

Each child is different and their needs are different.

We have to stop looking at autism as ‘one size fits all’. It is critical we listen to the parents as the baseline and move forward.

We can never give up.

Commenter K. “Interesting that the entertainment industry is whitewashing autism.”

It’s not just the entertainment industry and the media. How about the neurodiversity movement? Why aren’t they helping families who have children with severe autism? After all, individuals in the neurodiversity movement claim to understand autism better than anyone else. Why are they ignoring severe autism? And why do writers like Steve Silberman (Neurotribes) ignore severe autism?

Conclusion

This is an extreme problem. Naturally we don’t want to know about it. My opinion – not very helpful in this context – is that autism was deliberately crafted as a disease. If that is so, then the creators of the disease also know the cure for it. We should arrest the suspects and make them sing.

The first group of suspects to arrest would be anyone connected with the FDA raid on the office of the late Dr Jeff Bradstreet. I recommend arresting them under the Material Witness Act. No criminal charges are involved.  It means arresting someone who has vital information. As soon as they sing they can go free. If they say they don’t even dare go free after singing then we give them Witness Protection: a new identity, a nose job if necessary, and a new location.

Come on, Folks. The death of Bradstreet is never going to “straighten itself out.”  The bastards are hiding and causing more families every day to suffer autism. Thomas Bradstreet, brother of the deceased, ran a GoFundMe campaign, successfully, to start an investigation. But of course it stalled when it came to getting any law enforcement action.

Apart from that we should band together to provide respite for the parents of violent children. Mostly such parents band with one another, but which of them has any time or money to spare?

To date I had been aware of the pain and suffering of the autistic child himself, and his frustrating lack of motor control — but I overlooked the biting and hitting.  The pictured family, the Sutherlands, say they have had to had to outfit their home with shatterproof glass.

I remind you that whenever a citizen gets attacked, or suffers property damage by a person who is “legally competent,” there is all kinds of redress and compensation.  But here, no redress is wanted; the parents love their child. And no public money is being made available to pay for the destroyed property.

Look up the price of glass and do the math.

  1. How is it that when I was a young fellow in the 50’s and 60’s nobody was described as autistic or acted that way? There was the occasional spoilt brat who misbehaved very badly, but we didn’t see people acting as those described above.

Of course that was the period in history before the huge number of vaccinations to school age children. Has any research been done on generational accumulative effects of vaccinations. That is parents vaccinated, then children vaccinated then grandchildren vaccinated? As many parents in my young days were not vaccinated, is this the reason why my generation was not affected by autism?

In more recent years there is also the injecting of eating animals, with antibiotics, to add to the list of accumulative poisoning. That is the food chain is being deliberately contaminated.

Unfortunately there appears to be an increasing proportion of society being diagnosed with this problem. Heaven help us if all the diagnosis is correct. The situation can only get worse, if vaccinations are the cause of this massive problem.

      • I take note Dee. But had autism become a notable problem before the proliferation of cell towers. I don’t say that they are not a part of the problem.

I have just realised that at least 3 or 4 out of 6 of a family of my relatives who lived at a location near a chemical manufacturing company have been affected by cancer. Their property was resumed after the fact was known that there was leakage into the ground water that they were drinking, as there was no other water available.

One of my cousins died of cancer several years ago, another has had breast cancer and another has recently had a tumour removed from her cranium. I am not sure yet about my uncle’s death. Am checking into that.

Even if my uncle’s death had nothing to do with cancer, I think it would not be possible to ignore the 50% cancer rate.

The chemical company was producing 2.4D (Agent Orange) during the Vietnam War era. My relatives lived in the area before and after the chemical company arrived.

  2. Of course, there are other probable causes. These affected people could be off-springs of Vietnam Veterans affected by Agent Orange or the younger ones, children of the invaders of Irag (1) and (2).
Iraq (1) soldiers being affected by vaccinations and Iraq (2) being affected by depleted uranium ammunition.

In other words, these possible effects could be caused by the same violators. The military, pharmaceutical, industrial complex of Western Nations.

  3. One of the comments in the story, one child A grades. The on the spectrum line is new, even young school kids use the nebulous term. Takes a special talent to sit for hours writing computer code.
Apart from the suffering, fear of no solution, I think part of it ,is, looking for random servonts (rainman). The clinics would be useful to identity any special traits, naturally, no traits no service. Dr Bradstreet and all the others is sick beyond comprehension.

  4. Re lindt video, weekend free wifi, he is frustrated like all of us, but misses the controller on that day.
A anon Dr. I think you Mary even brought my attention to it . Now i be naughty, but just saying, he looked kinda ex military, but repeatedly used ISIS. Military use Deash term more. Any dissent is good of course. In my view.

  5. Turnbull, was headed for barrister, left cause he was bored, I hear he is a crushing opponent, looks mild but never go head to head with this one Berry

  6. O and Turnbull married well, but thats a whole other thing.
    kangaroocourtaustralia.com maybe au too.
Stand out site and man, but im sure most here know.

  7. Last comment of mine may have seemed off topic but as this all goes round .
Autism seems to overlay the vax roll out, ie more vax more Autism, but chase the money and it goes back to the board members of big pharmaceutical(is there a small) among others.

  8. Thanks to Mary just played, freewifi, your dummer boy clip, my joberg partner cried. She thinks I’m crazy, but that helped, get me more study time.

  9. It would appear AussieMal shares my views on this Autism issue. I too, do not recall any kids in my school or locality where I grew up having such an affliction. Come to think of it, I cant recall anyone having nut allergies either.
Both these issues seem to be a 21 century malady. I don’t think we need to examine the reasons for these issues either, we all KNOW what’s causing them, but no one’s prepared to do anything about it.
Ref the agent Orange bit. As a returned serviceman who served in South Vietnam in 68-69, I recall distinctly the days we slogged thru freshly contaminated jungle, not knowing what the sticky jell stuff was that was stuck on all the vegetation and got onto our clothes as well, which were soaked in sweat, thus allowing this stuff to contact our skin.
I also recall the ALLEGED agreement between the Australian Government and the U.S. of ALLEGEDLY paying the Australian Government compensation which was supposedly to be passed on to the soldiers who were contaminated. Strange thing, I have never, to this day, seen one cent of that compensation, nor heard from anyone in Government what’s happened to that money.

  10. Ok I am out there, but the similarities between the mkultra program do overlap with compartmentalized brain damage that the Autistic seem to suffer.

  11. If every other family is affected by autism in some way, then every other family is effectively incarcerated, with their home being the prison, and not participating in society beyond consuming expensive medical services, and depending on the largess of Government/bureaucracy. This reduces the pool of people available to participate in, and pay attention to, the political life of the Nation, and it increases the pool of people dependent on the politico/economic status quo.

Sounds like a desirable outcome for some.

  12. I’m quite taken by this word “neuro-diversity”. Anyone else notice a new TV series being flogged that portrays a spectrum-addled new Doogie Houser? This is propaganda at its zenith. Cute, intelligent, quirky, totally not throwing things at everyone. Basically, its the mainstreaming of pathology, and the manufacturing of our next generation’s normal.

I’m not sure how more enriching diversity we can take.

    • Unfortunately , the lunatics have been running the asylum here for a long time .
Melbourne and Sydney are blatant , in your face , examples of globalism ruled by psychophats . To make their actions seem “normal” they are accusing us for their perversions . Just like terrorism .
Why are our “defence” (attack) forces in the Middle East helping to displace innocents ?

  13. I posted this vid 3 years ago and never dared to write about it. For a long time it had no hits but now has 171.

I was in a hurry as it was mom’s 100th, so it’s very thrown together. Here’s my point. I know they manufacture lentoviruses at Ft Detrick. They admit doing it for research. I was being cryptic about the FIV – feline immunodeficiency virus. I am sure FIV is one of their “products.” If cat lovers knew what goes on….

Do I believe autism has been deliberately created? Yes I do. Frankly it is only a guess that it’s a lentovirus but I’d like to chat with an expert about it. And I think there is a cure for it.
