Some hours after the MH17 disaster, a video flashes across mainstream media implicating pro-Russian separatists (and the Russians) as they talk about how they downed the aircraft. I was suspicious of the perfect timing and efficiency of this hugely important audio (and then YouTube) ‘evidence’ . It reminded me of Paul Bremer appearing on television (see below) around midday on September 11, 2001. In this interview he was calm and collected and discussed revenge, and fingered a culprit – bin Laden. Astonishingly, Bremer neglected to mention that his office at Marsh & Mclennan had been directly hit by the plane. Displaying what can only be described as psychopathic behaviour, Bremer not only fails to mention concern over the fate of his 1500 associates trapped in the building – he does not even mention them at all – but says “… relieved to see business going on as usual…”. Astounding.
But back to this audio-video evidence provided by Kiev. Where the hell is this video now? Well there’s a problem (as I mentioned in a previous post). It was put together from various sources, and it appears to have been made the day before. What? Yes – someone knew that MH17 was going to drop out of the sky. Doesn’t that mean – someone was planning to drop this plane out of the sky? Well it seems whoever put this video out has shot themselves in the foot.
(And here)
The Russian military have also detected a Ukrainian SU-25 fighter jet gaining height towards the MH17 Boeing on the day of the catastrophe. Why were they tracking the passenger airplane?
It is always perception. An (evil) Ukrainian militiaman was reported as taking a teddy bear from the victim of Malaysia plane crash as a trophy. But the full video shows he was just paying tribute to the dead. This is not dissimilar to Howard’s analysis of the boat refugee holding his baby up (on the sinking boat). Was he threatening to throw his baby in the water – or pleading with Australia to help his child? Same image.
And the mainstream media seems to cling to the anti-Russian view. Interestingly, the Dutch head of a team sent to identify the victims of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 praised the Ukrainian recovery workers who collected hundreds of bodies from a giant swathe of land in a war zone for doing a “hell of a job”.
Well its all deception and perception when it comes to war, governments, resources and the mainstream media.
It will be a miracle if we got just some of the untainted truth.
And as for people like Paul Bremer – well he was rewarded with Iraq for helping point the finger at bin Laden.
