The Port Arthur Edition of “Who Killed Cock Robin?”

13

by Mary W Maxwell, PhD, LLB

On August 27, 2017, GumshoeNews published my article “Who Killed Cock Robin?” It was a book review of a book for which I had received only a PDF without an author’s name, and with the title: “9/11 Exposed.”  On September 7, 2017, I met Christopher Bollyn at a lecture he gave near Boston, and learned that he is the author of that PDF. It’s now a published book, entitled The Great Deception. Bollyn told us that had laboured for 12 years to gather information about the 9/11 players, and he pinpointed their manifold connections to Israel.

I shaped my August 27 review of Bollyn’s work around a dozen questions that seek to identify which individuals or organizations had “the necessaries” to attack the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. I did a take-off on the rhyme about the death of “Cock Robin,” where they ask “Who caught his blood?” “Who’ll dig his grave?” etc.

I’ll now try a similar approach to the mystery of Port Arthur — Australia’s introduction to “terrorism” that happened in 1996. I will use the same 12 questions that I applied to the 9/11 mystery, but now re-worded to fit Tasmania.  Here are the original twelve questions about 9/11, and — in parentheses — my adaptation for Port Arthur:

A Dozen Questions

  1. Who controlled entry to the premises on 9/11? (Who controlled the two sites: Broad Arrow Café and Seascape Cottage?)
  1. Who created the weapons used in attacking the WTC? (Who brought in the guns for the shooting at PAHS — “Port Arthur Historic Site” — and what weapon was used to explode the BMW on the grass at Seascape, and burn the cottage next day?)
  1. Who provided a distraction story about Arab hijackers? (Who gave us the legend of Martin Bryant’s involvement?)
  1. Who destroyed the evidence, such as the WTC debris? (Who got rid of the gunman’s tray in the café, who got rid of the second Volvo?)
  1. Who turned off all police and military alarms? (Who made sure local police were far away at 1.30pm, and who caused a six-hour delay in getting help for the tourists?)
  1. Who controlled the media? (Who arranged the famous conference of international journalists to take place on April 28, 1996, and who ran the live press conferences?)
  1. Who financed the attacks? Note: the cost of Port Arthur massacre was minimal, unlike 9/11, so I’ll substitute a question here: Who has been able, for 21 years, to prevent the innocent, imprisoned Martin Bryant, a classic patsy, from telling us what he really did that day?
  1. Who handled the insurance aspects? (How did the victims get cheated out of ways to sue or get compensation?)
  1. Who ran security at Boston and Newark airports? (Who handled the “security” of leaks, such as during the police negotiation with Bryant on the night of the massacre?)
  1. Who wrote the official 9/11 report? (Who concocted the 1997 Port Arthur Seminar Papers?)
  1. Who prevented lawsuits? (How was the wealthy Martin Bryant prevented from hiring his own attorney?)
  1. Who said the US should get on a war footing? (Who, in Australia, felt that the time had come for restrictions on gun ownership?)

A Few Things – How Simple It Is To Fool People!

The above dozen questions, pertaining to 9/11, suggest that you only need to know a few things to solve the mystery. Just do as Chris Bollyn did: identify who controlled key features:

the premises, the weapons, the cover story, the physical evidence, normal police alarms, media, the patsy, any insurance claims, “security” (as against leaks or unexpected interference), the official report, potential litigation, and the nation’s policy on terrorism.

Below, I list Port Arthur’s “dramatis personae.” Again, this imitates my August 27 article on the 9/11 matter. In that article, I drew all the names of persons and organizations from the PDF of a book which, as I said, is now available under the title The Great Deception.

For the “Port Arthur Cock Robin” article at hand, credit must go to several researchers.  I especially relied on two books: Stewart Beattie’s A Gunsmith’s Notebook on Port Arthur, and Andrew MacGregor’s Deceit and Terrorism in Tasmania. I am not sure if these books are in paper form, but they are in electronic form. They are packed with information but are hard to get a hold of.

MacGregor’s is partly available via his lectures on Youtube, and on the Internet as a series of articles carried by SoutheastAsiaNews.com and/or LoveOfLife.com.au. Beattie’s book graces the shelf of the State Library of Tasmania, as “a DVD.”  I also consulted a third researcher who does not wish to be named. And in regard to the gun-control agenda, I’ve learned from Terry Shulze’s 3-part article on that subject (Part 1Part 2, Part 3).

Dramatis Personae of the Port Arthur Massacre

Pat Allen, a constable who expresses anger today that he was made to lie in a ditch outside Seascape for the whole night as “teasing’ bullets were sent his way.

John Avery, Bryant’s defense lawyer, who said “It was him.” Avery later spent 4 years in prison for financial fraud in an art case.

Lynn Beavis, an employee of Commonwealth Bank, who claims to have stayed as a tourist at the Seascape cottage the night before April 28th, and was paid $900,000 in compensation for trauma experienced during her helping of victims at PAHS.

Kim Beazley, Leader of the Opposition (Labor party) at the time.

Roiand Browne, attorney and anti-gun activist who was at the scene at Seascape cottage so early that he must not have waited in Hobart for announcement of the troubles.

Martin Bryant, a patient of the Tavistock psychiatrist Dr Eric Dax, who received a pension for mental disability and had a guardian. His Dad had allegedly suicided in 1993.

Damian Bugg, Tasmania’s Director of Public Prosecutions, later the Commonwealth DPP and chancellor of the University of Tasmania, who withheld exculpatory evidence about Bryant, lied, and generally “threw the case” in Court.

William Cox, Chief Justice of the Tasmanian Supreme Court, who sentenced Bryant to 35 life sentences, and later became a vice-regal.

Sir William Deane, Governor-General of Australia at the time.

Michael Dyson, Head of Tasmania’s SOG — Special Operations Group, which is more or less covert.  He later opened a private security company.

Geoff Easton, media man for Tassie police. He trained at SAC-PAV, although it is not intuitive that SAC-PAV has any use for “public relations.”

Bob Fielding, officer who made a major slip-of-the-tongue in saying of Bryant’s emergence from the burning cottage  “I’m satisfied we made the right decision, in waiting and forcing him to come to us as opposed to vice-versa.”

Andrew Fogarty, member of the SOG, stationed outside Seascape, apparently the decision maker. He is the brother of another cop, Michael Fogarty, a sharpshooter.

Ray Groom, had been Premier of Tassie but inexplicably stepped down shortly before the massacre and took several portfolios relevant to the massacre, including Minister for Tourism and Attorney General. His son is now in state parliament.

David Gunson, head of Tasmania Law Society, was appointed to defend Bryant but failed to get a guilty plea from him, so handed the case over to John Avery.

Peter Hesman, a detective, may have fired 3 more shots at PAHS after 5pm, thus re-traumatizing the hundreds of tourists who still had not been able to escape the site.

“Alan Hodges,” Director General of Emergency Management Australia, which is presumably of the same nature as “FEMA” in the US.

John Howard, who became prime minister of Australia 6 weeks before the massacre.

Chris Isles, a cop who showed up at the General Store at 1.45pm where the gunman had just killed Zoe Hall, and spoke to witness Jim Laycock (who says the killer was not Martin Bryant), but then drove away and was never part of the rest of the day’s police work.

Paul Kelly, editor of the Murdoch-owned newspaper, The Australian.

Ian Kingston, manager of parking at PAHS, a job he had acquired only a short time before.

Jim Laycock, former owner of the Broad Arrow café who knew Bryant for years as a youth.

Wilf Lopez, head of psychiatry at Risdon Prison.

Terry McCarthy, a police negotiator who spoke from office telephone in Hobart to the man inside Seascape from about 6pm to 9pm.

Richard McCreadie, Police commissioner and chair of the state Disaster Committee.

Sally Martin, co-owner of Seascape cottage, who was officially reported as having died by blunt instrument applied to her skull.

Ian Matterson, the coroner who aborted his Inquest of PA as soon as Bryant was convicted.

Anthony Nightingale, RIP, member of ASIO who said “No, not here, when the gunman started shooting in the café.

Hans Overbeeke, owner of an air-conditioning shop in Adelaide, was at the PAHS with his late son Ben who was considered to be a marksman.

Joe Paul, RIP, reported of the Emergency Management Institute seminar of 1997: “The 20 or so speakers were the only persons present at the Institute and a great sense of comradeship built up over dinner and during that evening.”

Rebecca Peters, American activist in Australia who expresses a strong ideological aversion to gun ownership.

Rick, a man referred to by Bryant as being present in Seascape while he was talking to the negotiator Sgt McCarthy. Rick is possibly a name for “Mick” Dyson, who had perhaps cozied up to Bryant in advance and assigned him to this “drill.”

“Rick’s” wife, a person who is “higher up in Intelligence than Rick” — or so said Bryant. During negotiation, Bryant also said that he had done a kidnapping at 1pm, and that the wife of the man had “wanted to participate in the kidnapping.

Tony Rundle, premier of Tasmania at the time

Ian Sales, MD, psychiatrist who visits prisoners at Risdon in an apparently unofficial capacity.

Mike Willesee, TV host on Channel 7, who provided to the public for the first time, in 2016, the video of police interviewing Bryant in prison on July 4, 1996.

Elizabeth Windsor, Queen Elizabeth II, monarch of Australia at the time.

“Dramatis Organizationae” — Tavistock and SAC-PAV

In the Cock-Robin-of-9/11 article, I included a Who’s Who of organizations that Bollyn thinks played a part. These are little known to the public – such as the Marsh-McLellan insurance company that is related to Kroll Security.

For Port Arthur, I don’t know of private organizations that may have helped the massacre. I only know such institutional players as the parliament, the police, the press, the guardianship board, the managers of PAHS, and the staff of the Royal Hobart Hospital. However, mention should be made of Tavistock, and SAC-PAV.

Tavistock is a British covert organization operating behind the front of a psychology clinic. It has played a role in myth-making and in studying people’s reactions to trauma. I do not know if “Tavi” did anything on April 28, 1996, but it’s official that a Tavistock doctor, Eric Dax, was the psychiatrist of Martin Bryant when he was young, and that Martin made 14 trips overseas in the year before the massacre. (I don’t mean to imply that Martin did the massacre. He did not.)

As for SAC-PAV, I learned of this from Andrew MacGregor, a retired cop in Victoria. The acronym stands for Special Action Committee to Protect Against Violence – that name should be enough to assure one that it does the opposite! It is a hush-hush group in Canberra. In my 2017 book, Inquest: Siege in Sydney, I speculate that SAC-PAV was the mastermind of the 2014 siege of the Lindt Café in Sydney.

Answering the Twelve Questions re Port Arthur

  1. Who controlled the two sites: Seascape Cottage and the Broad Arrow Café?

First, regarding Seascape, I think the two owners of that cottage (a B&B), David and Sally Martin, were most likely killed, quietly, on the Saturday night, so they could not interfere on the Sunday operation. The official story is that Bryant shot them dead before noon on Sunday (and then casually drove off to do his shootout at Broad Arrow Café, which is in the Port Arthur Historic Site, the PAHS).

Evidence is clear that Bryant was not at Seascape until around 1pm. I think Sgt Mick Dyson was in the cottage all day. He was the most senior man in Tasmania on the Special Operations Group and yet was supposedly absent all day from all the action sites; we simply did not hear from him. Furthermore, he has never written about his April 28th work. I am guessing that he controlled the Seascape site, but got away before the arson next morning.

Second, regarding the café, Ian Kingston, an employee of PAHS, gave contradictory replies to questions about how a driver of a yellow Volvo parked outside the Café. This is not to say that Kingston “controlled the site.” I think there was ASIO control of the site. Hans Overbeeke, supposedly a tourist that day, took over the task of asking each tourist to provide name and address and he was solely in charge of the pay phone for contacting their families.

A black van is clearly seen on a video parked outside the café, and there has been no attempt to explain it. I assume it is a Commonwealth car. If so, we can say some members of the Australian government controlled the site that day. There is also a photo of Ari Ben Menashe standing on the steps pf the Broad Arrow, for which no explanation has been given.  He is a self-admitted alumnus of Mossad. (He is also rumoured to be “Joe Vialls” who published inside dirt about the massacre.)

  1. Who brought in the guns for the shooting at PAHS — “Port Arthur Historic Site” — and what weapon was used to explode the BMW on the grass at Seascape, and burn the cottage next day? At least one cop has said that Sgt Andrew Fogarty hurled a grenade at the BMW which was supposedly Bryant’s get-away vehicle. This caused the car to explode. It’s also reasonable to deduce that the same man, or a colleague, hurled grenades or similar to start the fire in Seascape the next morning. Firefighters were put on alert to attend, 30 minutes before any smoke was seen. How would anyone calculate that Martin Bryant was planning to “kill himself” by setting the cottage on fire? As for the multitude of guns reportedly unearthed at Seascape, Sally’s son denies that his parents owned them.
  1. Who gave us the legend of Martin Bryant’s involvement? As recently as the 20th anniversary of the massacre, Channel 7’s TV host Mike Willesee gave us “details” of Bryant’s mental state, corroborated on the same TV show by Paul Mullen, MD. Mullen was never the doctor of Bryant but interviewed him in prison in order, apparently, to be able to write a report that Martin was fit to stand trial (rather than be declared insane).

During the immediate aftermath of the massacre, the highly concentrated mainstream media of Australia provided the whole story of how and why Bryant “did what he did.” For example, they said his motive was a grudge he held against Sally and David Martin for refusing to sell a farm to Bryant’s Dad years ago. Regarding a clearly photo-shopped picture of Martin’s “wild eyes,” editor Paul Kelly said it was not done intentionally.

  1. Who got rid of the gunman’s tray in the café, who got rid of the second Volvo? When the gunman had lunch on the balcony of the café, he used a tray, which would have had his fingerprints. No mention was made of such a tray in the report of the day’s crimes. But later a cop leaked a “police training video” that showed the tray. Olga Scully found it. So who got rid of the tray? No one really needed to get rid of it as the public would never have known of its location until that video showed it sitting right near the famous sports bag that the real gunman had abandoned after the shooting.

Who got rid of the second Volvo? As all the world knows, Martin Bryant owned a yellow Volvo and strapped his surfboard on top of it. It seems that there were two yellow Volvos at PAHS that day. From memory I think Stuart Beattie indicated in his book that Lynn Beavis hid a yellow Volvo behind a building on the campus. He can’t know this but deduces it. Of course she has never been questioned, as no one was cross-examined in any court room regarding the PA massacre. Beattie tracked down a workman’s compensation paid to Lynn for her suffering that day, about $900,000. Her employer was Commonwealth Bank, perhaps a part of ASIO.

  1. Who made sure local police were far away at 1.30pm, and who caused a six-hour delay in getting help for the tourists? Presumably the suspicious-looking fact that the only two local police had to go on a fool’s mission to make a drug bust was organized by someone who knows the police routine. The timing was such that the two cops were at a maximum distance from the PAHS when the shooting began at 1.30pm. As for who caused a delay, there were more than 100 cops who responded to the call but all of them (except two rookie female cops sent to the site) were held up at Taranna Devil Park. The chain of command is not complicated. It had to be the person in charge of Tasmanian police that day, Richard McCreadie, who decided when the cops would be allowed to go help the victims, namely at 7.30 that night.
  1. Who arranged the famous conference of international journalists to take place on April 28, 1996, and who ran the live press conferences? I have never seen anything to tell us who set this conference up, but we can all figure that it took much advance planning. As for who ran live press conferences, it was Geoff Easton and Bob Fielding.
  1. Who has been able, for 21 years, to prevent the innocent, imprisoned Martin Bryant, a classic patsy, from telling us what he really did that day? People cannot visit him, as they are turned away by prison officials saying “Martin does not want a visit from you.” It is claimed by Martin’s mother, Carleen Bryant, that John Avery pressured her to persuade her son to plead guilty, on the threat that if he didn’t, she and Lindy, Martin’s sister, would not be allowed to visit the prison. Can you imagine. The medical part of the prison has now been named the Wilf Lopez Center after a doctor there.
  1. How did the victims get cheated out of ways to sue or get compensation? If the gunman be a lone nutter, the government does not have liability for those who get shot. Four of the victims could have escaped through the back door of the café, but a broken door lock prevented this. As these persons were employees of the PAHS, they could expect the door to be investigated as an issue of Occupational Health and Safety. However, despite demanding such an investigation, none was granted.
  1. Who handled the “security” of leaks, such as during the police negotiation with Bryant on the night of the massacre? Sgt Terry McCarthy made sure not to ask pertinent questions of Bryant, such as “Who is in there with you?” “Who just fired that shot?” (The shots are referred to as “coughs’ on the tape of the interview.) Also, the bullets aimed near Constable Pat Allen’s ditch may have been a way to keep Pat from interfering in the Plan.
  1. Who concocted the 1997 Port Arthur Seminar Papers? Joe Paul says they came about when federal and state officials agreed to meet north of Melbourne to discuss “lessons learned.”
  1. How was the wealthy Martin Bryant prevented from hiring his own attorney? The Tasmanian Parliament passed a law that amended the asset-forfeiture procedure, to make it “legal” to seize Bryant’s fortune even before he was found guilty of the massacre.
  1. Who, in Australia, felt that the time had come for restrictions on gun ownership? Internationally, George Soros was running a gun-control program. His servants in Australia appear to have been Tasmanian attorney Roland Browne, and Rebecca Peters. Barry Unsworth, ex-premier of NSW, had said in 1987 that a massacre in Tassie would be necessary to get the gun laws changed (cf 9/11: a new Pearl Harbor would be needed). John Howard had only been prime minister for six weeks in 1996 before the massacre happened. He quickly organized the half-billion-dollar buyback of guns from the public.

Conclusion

Researchers have found hundreds of anomalies concerning the 1996 event. No MSM media, no court, and no elected leader has ever been willing to address those issues. This is sufficient proof, in my opinion, that parliamentarians, the media, and the judiciary were thoroughly involved in the Port Arthur massacre and in its cover-up.

I point out that cover-up is a crime. I invite the cover-uppers to come out now and tell the truth in the hope that mercy will be shown to them in regard to their crime. I also urge bystanders, such as the nursing staff at Royal Hobart Hospital, to step forward and tell anything of interest.

Since there is no court or other government office willing to take information from such persons, I ask them to spill the beans to GumshoeNews. Or you can contact me via my website: www.MaxwellForSenate.com.

Back to Christopher Bollyn’s work. I think he has nailed 9/11. He simply exposes how men at all the key junctures that day had been palsie-walsie for decades. Personally, I now deem the 9/11 case closed.

I also declare the Port Arthur case closed, or as near as dammit. The police, working for shadowy persons in Canberra, did the 1996 massacre. Quite likely those shadowy persons are part of World Government.

All Aussies need to express their rejection of the official story — and post-haste, as time is running out. The Bryant family deserves a humble apology from all of us who too quickly believed the nonsensical “legend of Port Arthur.” We really ought to grow up, eh?

As for Martin Bryant, show him to the door.

  1. Dee, I know you are struggling with all of the complications of the new website — please fix my 12 items, they somehow look like 13. Thanks.

Anyhow I consider it a miracle that this article made it into daylight. Whew.

    • Just to remind people about a past comparison.
      https://gumshoenews.com/2015/07/23/chilling-similarities-between-port-arthur-massacre-and-911/
And an extract from Terry’s comment:
Here’s a dirty secret of the prosecution. If there is any ‘exculpating evidence’ the prosecutor is duty bound to give the evidence to the defence. A lab report of the tray saying that the person eating from the tray was not Martin Bryant would be such exculpating evidence. So, the lab report would have to go ‘missing’. However, if anyone saw a picture of the tray in the restaurant, they would naturally ask for the lab report on the tray – So, not only did the lab report have to go ‘missing’, but any evidence of the existence of the tray also had to go missing…. You can bet your last dollar, that the lab report on the tray showed that Martin Bryant wasn’t the person who ate from the tray.

  2. Good article, but I’d like to see more about how to defend what you have, as opposed to how to regain/ get compensation for what’s been taken, because anyone can maintain a few simple practices and no one can turn back the clock.

I spent the Dec’01 – Jan’02 holiday period on Tassie’s east coast. On fine, mild, windless days the beaches were virtually deserted whilst every cafe was crammed to capacity. The day of the P. A. massacre was, purportedly, also perfect picnic weather, and contrary to legend, civilian gun- possession was already restricted to sporting facilities and farms:

    Makes me wonder.

    • I also think that, deep down, the Beneficaries hate each other’s guts, and that calling their palsie-walsie bluff is critical re disablement

  3. Slightly off topic but relative .

” The reserve bank dictates the entire banking system , operates under fractional – reserve banking , which is a fraud designed to transfer wealth from the borrowers of the money the banks lend , to the private owners of the banks and those running them , via the interest paid on debt . Through fractional – reserve banking , the money that the banks lend is overwhelmingly created out of nothing rather than lent out of existing deposits . By charging interest on this money lent , which was created out of nothing , the private owners of the banks and hose running them have a lucrative source of revenue which required negligible effort to earn . While the citizens who borrowed the money work with blended back to repay the interest on their loans by producing goods and services in the economy , the private owners of the banks and those running them use this interest earned to purchase these goods and services and enrich themselves .” – Andrew Mac .

    John 3 : 16 -21 .
“… And this is the condemnation , that the light is come into the world , and men loved darkness rather than light , because their deeds were evil .”

  4. Addition to Andrew Mac’s article: The loan is made from a figure plucked out of the stratosphere and entered into a computer. Then not only is the interest paid back in real currency, but so is the named capital. So the borrower repays in real currency for nothing that ever existed. This is how our country supposedly has a huge debt. The money “borrowed” by our governments is treated exactly the same. Our debt never existed!

    • In no official narrative does it state a shotgun was used at Port Arthur. However, surgeon’s have stated they pulled pellets out of people. Another media, police, political lie.

  5. The article is a lot of something about nothing. Who killed cock robin? It was not I said, the sparrow and not i said the red hen.
