THE JAMMED – My Movie on Sex Trafficking in Melbourne

Introduction by DM

I made “The Jammed” — a low-budget movie in 2006/7. It is available for viewing on Vimeo for a week. This is what Luke Buckmaster from INFILM wrote,

“The Jammed is a fast, thudding, ultra-timely expose, a bucket of icy cold water thrown on the groggy, ambivalent face of public conscience”

George Palathingal. Sydney Morning Herald.

“Revelatory & powerful…superbly delivered”

David Stratton. At The Movies

“The best Australian film of the year so far”

 SHORT SYNOPSIS

“When a Chinese mother arrives in Melbourne to find her missing daughter, she enlists the help of Ashley Hudson. Hooked on caffeine and bored with her job and loveless life, Ashley reluctantly agrees to help search and is soon drawn into the dark underworld of this cultured city as she tries to rescue three girls from a trafficking syndicate. Inspired by court transcripts and actual events, THE JAMMED is a social thriller about trafficking and the sex slave trade in Melbourne. As the story unravels the sinister workings of illegal prostitution and governmental deportation is filled with twists and surprises.”

The movie only depicts what the audience can take. In reality, it is worse.

  1. Amazing Dee. When I first found Gumshoe news 2015 (I think) I watched the Jammed and it resonated in ways that I am still coming to terms with–I am about to watch again. When I watched it I recalled a film called The Whistleblower and I have since discussed this movie with you and how aspects of my life as a whistleblower are replicated in this movie–especially the end. I know you too know this film well.

Trailer and link to movie The Whistleblower
    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0896872/
“A drama based on the experiences of Kathryn Bolkovac, a Nebraska cop who served as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia and outed the U.N. for covering up a sex trafficking scandal.”

I would like to dedicate this page to our whistle blowers exposing the people /child trafficking industry. I think of Lydia Cacho and hundreds of others the men women and children who are speaking out.

Thank you Dee I shall watch both documentaries again.
And thank you gumshoe-ers who hold my story and allow my dissociated parts to digress “off topic ” at times. You make me feel as though I exist very important for someone who has been tortured trafficked–sold and betrayed.

    From the Whistleblower. DD
Yes Dee “In reality, it is worse.” I pay tribute to our Australian Whistleblowers.

  2. Dear Gumshoer, yes I mean you.
Maybe you are not the whistleblower type, or have not had the opportunity. That’s OK. You can still help.

Dee’s movie could be shown in cinemas — I have not even discussed this with her. It could be part of “Operation RussPat,” to call attention to the trial of Pridgeon and O’Dea.

We are a small operation. Write to Dee or myself with practical suggestioms. We have only 3 weeks til the Jone 5 trial of R and P begins.

The Pridgeon case is historic insofar as Russell is a doctor who was obvioulsy a helper of kids, whose reputation got bludgeoned by Operation Noetic, a trick to keep him immobilized. But he had a pen and paper and has got the miscreants in a pickle.

Will becoming a helper cause you, too, a lot of pain? I think so. Good. Tell us about it ad we ill further use it to get Aussies off their, pardon me, derriere region. Maybe you can reach some already existing parent groups who are protesting the use of sextbooks in school libraries.

    • MM, It got it’s run in movies in 2007. It was a dark horse and started in one cinema — breaking all records for the highest opening week screen average per cinema screen for an Australian film.

My disappointment in humanity — is that sex trafficking has been on the rise since THE JAMMED, THE WHISTLEBLOWER and other films

      Conclusion:
Humans are traffickers — that’s what humans are good at. Cruelty.

      • Shite. I have even worse news for you, Agent 77. Assuming the name “jammed” means the girls were trapped into the system, I think the cops are also trapped.

Been re-reading Russell Pridgeon’s book. You say “humans are good at cruelty.” I suppose so. He talks about the banality of evil, whereby people imitate whatever is around them. “I was just following orders.”

We should concentrate on the cops. Do you recall that many French gendarmes committed suicide during the time when they had to hit the yellow-vest guys? There must be a lot of depression in the ranks.

Also, males being males, they don’t want to look wimpy if told to be harsh. Meanwhile, the female cops think they have to act like males.

OK, Dee. Do a movie on cops.

        • I disagree MWM in this instance –with your worse news for agent 77- and your suggestion she does a movie on cops– no no no– she knows who she is– and that is her story –her his tory–
I have not read Russell’s book but I know–every body knows– I believe he knows and does not need our interpretation of who He is–bless him and all those who look after and care for our children.

By the way Dee the documentary is brilliant so insightful –ahhh Melbourne is a dangerous city –from Land Titles matters etc -approx 47 mins– to art gallery scene–so profound–= Power to you

  3. So So Timely yes I mangled to rewatch -very triggering–thank you Dee- our stories intersect– yes I thank those who made such a difference-2007– “I” have noted at 1hr.20 mins to 1.25 I do give consent –passports taken–I do not require your assistance—but yes I do—ahh you must all watch every minute –it is important–so poignant –so brilliant –so so – who you are–palya lingku —

    • Tell me again, Diane. Tell me cops aren’t trapped. Imagine you are a cop and you like the job but after 15 years you are told to do bad things. Will you resign? What if this means you lose your retirement cache and health coverage? What if you know the heavies from the office are going to beat you up as a whistleblower? (I know army benefits, esp retirement, are rigged in such a way as to defeat whistleblowers, and it works.)

How many cops have resigned? How many simply obey and grab the kid from the mother’s arms? Do you recall in my Reunion book, an Australian woman who was in the labor room (not yet in full labor), and her five-year-old was sitting in the labor room (waiting to be picked up by an aunt). The cops came in and grabbed that boy and he has not been seen since! The main cop was female. Never mind if it put the mother in shock.

Was that cop trapped? Was she just ordinary cruel? Or mind-controlled? I will listen to you, Diane.

Or if you don’t feel like replying, don’t worry.

PS re Pridgeon. I am not interpreting him, I aim to be a megaphone of his book. His message is about as clear as clear can get. In fact, if the usual mess-it-up team gets assigned to mess up his book, they won’t even get a toe-hold.

      • Oops, I was just starting to write Part 13 for the series and realized I shouldn’t have denied authorship or imagination. True, I want to megapohone everything Russell says in his book Everybody Knows, but in the series of article I am tossing other stuff into the mix.

I have my eyes fixed on the date June 5, 2023 for the beginning of the Russell/Patrick trial in Brisbane.

(The other defendants are having a separate trial, to begin May 22. Perhaps that will be used as a way to let BBC or ABC or anybody — how about WaPo — get in there with tales of horror about that awful doctor.)

Speaking of Dee, all these years she could have been a professor of media at U Melbourne or RMIT.

  4. Dee thank you,
Ukraine is biggest child trafficking, organ harvesting and global bioweapons central.
The armada of super cruisers behind Rose Bay cop shop, testimony. No one says a word in fear of losing job, if connected to have one. pledging allegiance….

When young, English was the common language, now replaced by Mandarin globally. If not seeing obvious, living in denial.

  5. Your movie is too brutal for we the sheeple, because it drags ordinary people into a street-level mess with none of the usual fantasy sequences to separate it from our nanny-state controlled reality. Our government is currently engineering a “respect” or “consent” campaign of some sort via the TV, a sanitised version, suitable for ad breaks in soap operas or ABC TV, suitable for we who are being cotton-wooled into a stupefied dream state.
According to government’s inferred narrative, all the problem people don’t have back-stories like this, they are special, naturally bad people. You could however find them by the thousands in Melbourne or Sydney and do the back story and if everyone watched all of this I wonder what the mass reaction would be.
Maybe you have to actually take a tour through your own wreckage to really know what wreckage is, otherwise you just become hostile to “the other”. Like the worldly types used to say, before package tours, travel broadens the mind.
Some religious people think one of the purposes of life is to get beaten up along the way. Personally I’m trying to avoid it.
I remember when I was young there were still old soldiers around from ww1, with missing arms or missing legs. Nowadays I see a lot of ambulances doing a lot of business, picking up customers all over the place. Ultimately, the death toll is 100%, it’s just a matter of what happens along the way.

    • I think of the hundreds of public officials that remove children from ‘good’ homes. Beyond cruel. They doing it for a business that is called Child protection. We humans are very good at cruelty

  6. The story that needs to be aired is about the MKULKTRA subprojects that create Dissociated Identity Disorder.—the cults weapon for total mind control–the first documented case diagnosed in Australia was in 1957.
I refer to two documentaries The Cult of the Family and Jeni Haynes horrific story both are linked to Dees “the jammed”–and the guardian review.

The Cult of the Family review – the definitive history of a notorious Australian cult
    https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2019/mar/12/the-cult-of-the-family-review-the-definitive-history-of-a-notorious-australian-cult
“But far off into the future, in the days when human beings will beam and/or inject narrative experiences into themselves and the word “television” will sound as dated “hieroglyphics”, at least one genre of story will remain evergreen, continuing to shock and compel audiences with tales of batshit craziness: the story of religious cults.”

Dissociative Identity Disorder: The woman who created 2,500 personalities

“It’s believed to be the first case in Australia, and perhaps the world, where a victim with diagnosed Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) – or Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) – has testified in their other personalities and secured a conviction.
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-49589160

“The Haynes family moved from Bexleyheath in London to Australia in 1974. Jeni was four years old, but her father had already begun his abuse, and in Sydney this escalated into sadistic, near-daily violations.”

“Jeni was also denied medical care for her injuries from beatings and sexual abuse, which have developed into serious lifelong conditions.
Now aged 49, Jeni has irreparable damage to her eyesight, jaw, bowel, anus and coccyx. These have required extensive surgeries including a colostomy operation in 2011.”
“The abuse would continue until Jeni was 11, when the family moved back to the UK. Her parents divorced shortly after, in 1984. She believes no-one, not even her mother, was aware of what she was going through.”

    A documentary here Dee.
Mary there is a Movie called The Three Billboards maybe Billboards could draw attention for Operation “Russ Pat”
