The Media Purge — ‘Sorry, this Content Isn’t Available Right Now’

The AntiMedia Facebook page’s “sorry” message

by Dee McLachlan

Remember Alex Jones? Daisy Luther wrote a report yesterday (12 October) on Investmentwatchblog entitled: “Why the Coordinated Alternative Media Purge Should TERRIFY Everyone: Soon Those Who Hate Freedom Will Have Unquestioned Access to the Minds of 2 Billion People.”

To quote:

Popular pages like The AntiMedia (2.1 million fans), The Free Thought Project (3.1 million fans), Press for Truth (350K fans),  Police the Police (1.9 million fans), Cop Block (1.7 million fans), and Punk Rock Libertarians (125K fans) are just a few of the ones which were unpublished.

Facebook told the LA Times that these pages had violated the company’s spam policies.

“Today, we’re removing 559 Pages and 251 accounts that have consistently broken our rules against spam and coordinated inauthentic behavior,” the company said in a blog post. ‘People will only share on Facebook if they feel safe and trust the connections they make here’.” (source)

Facebook says, “We do not allow people to use misleading or inaccurate information to collect likes, followers, or shares.”

Maybe they should “unpublish” all the mainstream media sites then.

To continue with Luther’s article:

“Nicholas Bernabe of The AntiMedia is another alternative journalist I consider a friend and support wholeheartedly. He’s worked tirelessly to be a voice of truth in a world of lies. He told Sputnik:

Our approach generally is to cover stories and angles that corporate media under report or misreport and to amplify activist and anti-war voices and stories. All of our content is professionally fact-checked and edited…

…Over the last 28 days, we reached 7,088,000 people on Facebook.

The timing of this purge is rather dubious in my view, coming shortly before the midterm elections. This could be an attempt by Facebook itself to affect the outcome of the coming elections. The Twitter suspension caught me by surprise. I can only speculate that these suspensions were a coordinated effort to stifle our message ahead of the coming elections. (source)”

And then Luther quotes Ron Paul:

“Ron Paul, former senator and the libertarian voice of reason, said when Jones was purged:

You get accused of treasonous activity and treasonous speech because in an empire of lies the truth is treason… Some of us tell the truth about our government, they call us treasonous and say we’re speaking out of line and they’d like to punish us, and I think that’s part of what’s happening with social media,” Paul told RT…” (source)

Tim Pool has some interesting information on the purge.

  1. Time to stock up on postage stamps and dust off the old typewriters. Do not forget: the ribbon, carbon paper and the whiteout.
Talk in whispers in the pub, they will be listening……………….Soviet style.

    • Whoops, I just got the point of the privatization of Auspost. Also over here the US Post is selling, selling…

Hey, Everybody, if Gumshoe stops existing, go to meet on the steps of your parliament house each Sunday at 2. Better than nothing. And get a permit for a concealed-carry or take martial arts lessons or whatever.

It can be fun. Life is fun. And who needs stupid Facebook anyway. Yay.

  2. What the deep state thieving banker criminals are really afraid of,
    Going to be rocky!!!
    More X22:

“This is not a drill”……………watch for the President’s message overriding all communications with an announcement????????!!!!!!!!!

    • What are to odds:
That this subject will not be raised by any candidate for the Wentworth byelection next Saturday?
What are the odds that any candidate in the Wentworth byelection has; half a brain, the intellect or the education to have any idea of the reality of the central banking scam
What are the odds that any candidate in the Wentworth byelection has any idea that the successful candidate will never realise the reality of the banker’s scam whilst they waste our space in Canberra with distractions and accepting false flag events to go to war for the bankers? (as with our present lot!!)
What are the odds that all the loyal political helpers and spruikers have any idea who they are really working for?
After all, the previous incumbent had no idea? Or did he?
Ditto: For the msms, shock jokes, commentators and ignorant opinion BSrs.

      • Yes , our former pm from Wentworth is the Goldman Sucks man in Oz .
What they did in US and Europe , a decade ago , they are about to do the same here now . The banksters true colours will show for all to see as they fleece the real workers here with their banking scam (crime) of the century .

The CCP and the blood suckers as the top 10% and the rest of us living in debt slavery.
Welcome to the peoples republic of Oz . A plan centuries in the making .

No use cutting the lizards tail it grows back . To be effective the serpents head should be cut . Frankly , can’t see that happening ’round here .

        • They create a million out of thin air , and then after 30 years of blood sweat and tears from the borrower , at only 5% per year they get two and a half million dollars back !
That has always been the great divide here , now only more so .

The solution is to end the reserve private bank and print our own money .
Then all our children could be living the dream instead of the nightmare that is debt usury at compounding interest .

  3. The success of Facebook goes to the seedy origins(anything that trades on the lowest common denominator is essentially manipulative). It’s therefore hardly surprising that any sort of anti- manipulation material would pose a serious threat .

  4. I noticed when you start using Google to search for ‘sandy hook hoax’ or ‘australian news hoax’ or something similar, you ONLY get official paid news outlets – this is different to the not too distant past where wordpress blog sites containing amateur alternative news would come up instead questioning the official stories. So it seems like either Google or it’s parent Alphabet is blatantly censoring searches like these itself or government agencies within countries are paying Google to render this service on their behalf for the searches. I guess you could test this by trying to search from a different country perhaps but from Australia, it appears heavily censored – maybe I am delusional?

  5. Ok if you search for ‘Sandy Hook Hoax’ on DuckDuckGo https://duckduckgo.com/?q=sandy+hook+hoax&t=h_&ia=web. You get the ’33 unanswered questions’ alternative news site in the second response. You do not with Google, StartPage, Lukol or Gibiru. The last three search sites claim private and anonymous etc. Do there is definitely a difference I can see anyway. Facebook has taken stuff down and remnants of this remain also in these searches.
