  1. Cow kuru? This just in from The Independent:

Bluetongue disease identified in two cows imported from France, UK officials say
The virus was discovered in cattle brought to north Yorkshire from central France – where bluetongue has been spreading – by experts at the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) and the Pirbright Institute.

[Gotts read the above sentence without the dashes]

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) said action was now being taken to reduce the risk of the disease spreading, with restrictions on movement imposed on affected farms. The two infected cows have been culled.
Bluetongue is transmitted by midge bites and can reduce milk yield and cause infertility in livestock such as cows, goats, sheep and llamas. But it does not affect people or food safety.
Graeme Cooke, deputy chief veterinary officer for the UK, said farmers must remain vigilant and report any concerns to the APHA and work with importers to make sure they comply with vaccination rules.

Beijing finally lifted a ban on British beef in July, more than 20 years after it was imposed following an outbreak of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) – better known as “mad cow disease”.
According to Defra, the move could be worth £250m to British producers in the first five years alone. An estimated 180,000 cattle were infected in the BSE outbreak of the 1990s.

  2. Great watch – thank you Christopher.

Why does the term event horizon (re black holes) come to mind? – the boundary at which the gravitational pull of a massive object becomes so great as to make escape impossible. Light [money] emitted from inside the event horizon can never reach the outside observer.

    As everybody knows: R($) = 2 G M / c**2

But seriously, just sharing the following as supplementary reading

    Planet Rothschild – M S King (2 volumes)

    • Although I’ve only read the first chapter and a few bits here and there King’s books appear very concise and readable and credible as it is consistent with much of what I’ve gleaned from other historians over the last 40 years or so. I’ve put them away for later consumption. Thanks for the lead.

Perhaps Black Holes come to your mind because they, like popular illusions about money and “politics”, are a deceptive fiction designed to bemuse and confuse with an impossible version of unreality from which escape seems impossible.

As everyone doesn’t know; bulsh-t squared times interminable repetition = mass hypnotic compliance. Or, as in the mathematical formula; BS^2 * ir = 0

      • *Like – I had to acknowledge your comment – thank you.

Re King – yes, he joins the historical dots in almost bullet point form – very readable – all the way back to the mid 1700s following the birth of Meyer Amschel Bauer. He can also demonstrate a delightfully wicked sense of wit and humour. I just have issue with a couple of his points – but of no consequence. His site is ‘tomatobubble’.

  3. Regarding the movie and The Stones off shore activity, the tax was 19 and six pence in the pound, considering the sudden rise to fame and the criminals surrounding the Stones, the group had to leave Britain because of debts, also MI 5 would be infiltrating groups with LSD, causing problems.
Considering for some centuries morality has been outside the realm of British society having its roots in corruption and fro Cromwels tims and before the use of usury Britain has become victim for centuries to the financial government of cult organizations of finance.
Whether Britain will become a victim of anarchy governed by a elite military type of Nzi occupation is likely, if so wwwwwwwwwhat Hitler feared would become reality, as can beseen on4 Corners a genocide program in its early stages can be seen, Australia for some time has been a experiemental destination awaiting its fate of a population now well indocrinated for its final oblivian.

  4. i here the russians last year advised the british government that they could have a 25megaton nuclear device in london in 18mins guess money will not mean much after that.
