Tulsi Gabbard’s Fourth of July — The Media’s Block and Flood

During the 2008 presidential election, Ron Paul (the daddy of Rand Paul) tried to be a candidate. I was living in Concord, New Hampshire at that time, and am back there again now.  Daddy Paul has many fervent admirers here among the libertarians.  In fact there is a Free State Project in which liberty-minded people from other states are encouraged to move to NH, the Granite State.

Below, I will run the video of Naomi Wolf where she is addressing a very sympathetic audience of granite staters. Her topic is the way media can create a story out of nothing. She mentions a story of a decapitation of a water-skier. CNN ran it and she got CNN to admit they had no backing for it.

Fox News TV hosted the Republican debate in 2008 but Ron Paul was excluded, if I remember correctly.

The Big Three

New Hampshire has three large newspapers, all broadsheets. The Union Leader in Manchester, the Concord Monitor here in the beautiful capital city, and the Nashua Telegraph. When I was a candidate for Congress in 2006 none of these papers gave me ink –except the Telegraph wrote an editorial saying Maxwell Is Too Far Out to be a serious contender.

Miraculously I got eleven percent of the vote. I can only assume those votes were cast by persons who were trying to show disgust with the Bush administration. The “mary person” on the ballot, being an unknown, was a better pick than the known.

(In truth, I think the vote count was rigged and that I really got 4% not 11%, but we’ll save that story for another day.)

Running for Prez

As mentioned in a previous article, Tulsi Gabbard, age 38, a notably good looking woman, is a candidate for US president. This is not an election year. She is getting an early start.

Her fellow Democrat, Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, had already been on the campaign trail for months. (Warren is referred to by Trump as “Pocahontas” for having obtained a scholarship as a native American which she perhaps is not.) Warren aims pretty low intellectually in regard to her “platform,” such as by saying we will bill the billionaires by taxing their assets instead of their income. She is ex-faculty of Harvard Law.

Tulsi Gabbard on the Fourth of July

In the town of Amherst, New Hampshire, there is an annual  Fourth of July parade in which some political hopefuls march. This year only one Republican presidential candidate was there, William Weld, a very wealthy and powerful man. I assume he is the fallback Repub candidate in case Trump dies.

Five of the announced Democratic presidential hopefuls showed up. If one of them wins, he or she will take office in January 2021. They are: Rep Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii,  Senator Kirsten Gillebrand of New York, Rep Tim Ryan of Ohio, ex-Congressman John Delaney of Maryland, and Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota.

I am here to say that the Concord Monitor gave Tulsi what Fox News gave Ron Paul in 2008 – the disappearing act.

As you’ve seen at the top of this article, the Monitor provided a photo of Amy in its July 5 newspaper, front page. It is 8 inches by 5.5 inches, in color.  She is a presentable blonde. (Kirsten, also a presentable blonde, got no picture.)

The Monitor’s caption was: “US Sen Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn, waves to the crowd at the Amherst …parade…with temperatures in the 90s.”

Weld and Delaney got smaller photos. Those two men could be easily identified in these frontal shots. The Weld caption is: “Former Massachusetts governor William Weld, a Republican, shakes hands as he makes his way….”

The Delaney caption is “… Delaney slowed up so much, shaking hands, that he was taken over by the Bernie Sanders supporters…”

Now for what the newspaper purchasers of Concord got to see by way of the fantastic candidate Tulsi Gabbard.  It is a black-and-white shot, 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches. It’s on page 2.  I do NOT mean to suggest that every candidate needs to be treated the same. There are artistic reasons to put some shots in color, some on page 1, some big or small. That’s fine.

But the picture of Tulsi is taken from the side and her hair falls forward as she leans over, so we can’t see her face at all. It’s dark, too.

The caption was “Mary Grollo meets presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii at the Amherst Fourth of July Parade.”

Is It Tavistock?

I use the word Tavi, nickname for Tavistock, as a shorthand for all that the mainstream media does to control our minds. It is well known that the scheme for newspaper and TV control is “block and flood.” They flood us with what they want us to be aware of, and they block the things they don’t want us to be aware of.

Is the photo of Tulsi (taken by the same photographer as the photo of Amy – Geoff Forester) meant to block our awareness of Tulsi? Is it vintage Tavi?

I think so, although I can’t be sure. Geoff may have wanted to give the elderly citizen, Mary Grollo, some credit and I am all for that. If I had not had “previous” with The Monitor from 2006, I may not have even suspected something funny going on re Tulsi.

But now that I am looking into it, I see that even when she was a mere Congresswoman, not a prez hopeful, Tulsi was copping it from the press.  Media-watch personality Tim Black caught out New York Times writer Bari Weiss making a derogatory statement, that Tulsi is “an Assad toadie.” This is because Tulsi decries our interference in Syria.

(So do I – in 2006 I sued President Bush for threatening to bomb Iran and Syria.  Needless to say that caper got not a drop of ink in the American press.)

And I also see a media-watchman jumping at The View for staring icily at visiting speaker Rep Gabbard.

You wonder if the mainstream media have considered the long haul.  We’re a full 16 months away from the November 2020 presidential election.  Are they going to be able to smear Tulsi all that time?  Are they going to be able to catch side views of her with her hair covering up her beauty, on a regular basis? Maybe pixelate her completely at her Inauguration ceremony?

Running 5K with Tulsi Should Be Kept Secret?

When I made a Honolulu stopover last year, coming here from Oz,  a resident of that state told me “Tulsi Gabbard is the best thing that ever happened to Hawaii.”  He also told me that Tulsi was about to get married, or had just got married, “and everyone was invited to her wedding.” Wow.

Tomorrow, July 6, 2019 in New Hampshire Tulsi has invited everyone to do a run with her, five kilometers, in the White Mountains town of Franconia. I only know of it thanks to an email I received. The email mentions 7 meet-and-greet events the dear girl has planned for the next 2 days in New Hampshire.

Certainly it’s a nice chance to get to the White Mountains and you might want your grandson to be able to say, someday, that he ran thru Franconia with the US President, right?

So is the 5K run advertised in the Concord Monitor? Let’s go to page 5 of Friday’s newspaper where it lists “What’s Happening: 48 Hours.” We read there that you can take a natural history carriage ride at the Gunstock mountain resort.  You can attend a jewelry class with Joy Raskin. You can go to a pet show in Grafton, play bridge in Gilford, or “sit and knit” in Northfield.

There are 34 items listed.  Tulsi’s events ain’t thar.

Which Is More Important for Tavi – Block or Flood?

So far I have accused the Concord Monitor of (maybe) blocking.  Probably blocking is more important than flooding.  In Naomi Wolf’s video below, it is mentioned that hornets’ nests are hung over a prisoner in Guantanamo for torture.  None of us ever dreamed of such a thing occurring under US auspices. Naomi went there and reported it. I think the blocking of that is shocking. Possibly rising to criminal cover-up.

Media also floods us, such as with “the party line.” We are supposed to believe such and such. It can be communicated to us merely by two co-anchors on nightly TV news speaking to each other about it as if it were the only reality. Like grass is green type thing.

I imagine a lot of TV is also produced as filler – to make sure people are kept busy with junk so they don’t use the old noodle.

I am now going to pick on the Concord Monitor again. This time it’s not about photos or listings of events but about text. In the Monitor’s defense I should “Hey, this is a patriotic holiday on a hot summer’s day, brilliant quotes are not needed.”  A sample from page 2, July 5, 2019:

“Ryan highlighted that he wants to focus on education investments that can rally help kids.”  Delaney said: “I’ve been coming to New Hampshire, I’ve been going to Iowa… and I feel like I’ve got relationships all over the state.” Amy said that her daughter “once wrote her confirmation essay for church and the theme was “when life gives you a parade. Walk it.”

That’s OK I suppose. But – back again to blocking —  we see on page 2 that Ryan and Klobuchar, and Delaney got several column paragraphs to blurt their trivia.   What’s-her-face got none.

Hornets’ Nests, and a Water Skier’s Decapitation

At 1.23.00 Naomi talks about seeing the hornet’s nest (not in use) at Gitmo. At 1.24.18 you will find the waterski decapitation fake story.

  1. Dee, a little mix-up. I did not mean to upload that last Naoimi video. Nevertheless it is quite enlightening about Julian Assange’s “date rape” problem.

I meant a different one, but never mind. Our readers have seen it before — it is Naomi talking to NH lebertarians for an hour. She even deals with the Boston Marathon.

  2. Mary, you have hit the nail on the head here.

This us clear exposure how the media manipulates our minds. I think this could be classified as photographic hypnosis???

  3. Mary, I’m quite sure Tulsi Gabbard is being “un-personed” or at least “un-candidated” by the media (both social, and mainstream). She is simply “too good” (for the people, not the special-interests).

I mentioned her to my sister, a lifelong Democrat voter, along with my glowing praise for her stated platform (ending pointless wars, fixing healthcare, etc) and my sister sadly stated that she had literally never heard of the woman. Not at all, even in passing.

My sister also stated that both Ron Paul and Trump were “un-electable”. So much for that. Ron was elected to congress several times, and Trump, well….

  4. Trump, well… he had us fooled at one time.
    Sorry for my scepticism.
I find it hard to get excited these days when I hear candidates saying things that are dear to my heart.
If they get through it is part of the globalist agenda, or they are buried fast.
I know that many still feel they can do a lot of good in the area of main stream politics.
I still say go for it. What if I am wrong.
I still think that the most powerful and subversive organisation that humans have ever had is the family.
No wonder those who seek power are afraid of it.

  5. Off-topic.
Dee I only just saw your article on the arrest of Jeffrey Epstein. I am interested in the following:

“The Justice Department’s Office of Professional Responsibility announced in February it had launched an investigation into whether Acosta’s actions as U.S. attorney amounted to professional misconduct…” Is that the Acosta who is in Cabinet now? Wow.

As for Epstein’s girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell [no relation!!], she is one of the nine legitimate children of the late media mogul Robert Maxwell in the UK — he has countless illegitimate children.

Robert was thoroughly involved in MK-ULtra. So I can feel sorry for Ghislaine, as I do for GW Bush. A childhood of terror. Maybe if we could communicate to them that life doesn’t have to be like that.

  6. Mary you ask: “Is It Tavistock?

“I use the word Tavi, nickname for Tavistock, as a shorthand for all that the mainstream media does to control our minds. A bit like Tulsi many here in Australia have never heard of Ghillar Michael Anderson. I believe he should be the next Prime Minister he is already Convenor of Sovereign Union of First Nations and Peoples in Australia and Head of State of the Euahlayi Peoples Republic
    ghillar29@gmail.com, 0499 080 660

Not the 4th of July but beginning of NAIDOC 2019–huge media /political coverage- but not the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth- as Ghillar says “we” are not ready for that -YET

From email I received today -some Truth Telling.

Historical Background to the NAIDOC 2019 Theme: ‘Voice, Treaty, Truth’

Ghillar, Michael Anderson, provides an historical insight into the NAIDOC 2019 theme ‘Voice, Treaty, Truth’, which reveals that each time First Nations Sovereignty rises up too powerfully it is suppressed in favour of the ‘trip wire to assimilation’. The ‘Voice’, of the NAC was shafted in 1984; the NAC ‘Treaty’ framework was dismantled and ‘Truth’ has barely been heard yet.

In 1972 the Federal opposition leader, the late Gough Whitlam, and the member for Canberra, the late Kep Enderby MP, came to the Aboriginal Embassy and sat with us where we had talks about progressing Aboriginal Affairs. Mr Whitlam congratulated us on our bold political action and recognised that our presence had focused the attention of the world on an historical dispute and confrontation that had been silently raging since 1788.

  7. around 8 minutes in above video- Ghillar speaks of 1992 Mabo decision stating that Aboriginal people still own the land-all of it -this caused panic in England. It revealed- “Australia does not own this land it is owned between Aborigines, Torres Strait Islanders and the Queen of England being the head of 13 families known as the The Crown.

    • Indeed Tulsi seems to be the mirror image of Trump. She sticks out more in the democrat party than trump did with the republican party.
Hopefully her green policies aren’t pie-in-the-sky.

Part of the reason I like Gumshoe is because Mary is american. Reading stuff american has certainly helped to explain alot of what happens in australia to me.
