Tulsi, How Could You Do This to Us?

A photoshopped fantasy of the 2021 Inauguration

by Mary W Maxwell, LLB

GumshoNews.com in Melbourne, Australia may have been the most enthusiastic media supporter of 2020 presidential candidate Rep Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii.  We started to sing her praises when she was a Congresswoman visiting Assad of Syria — a perfectly normal and OK thing for her to do, but for which she copped criticism “in the contiguous 48.”

I can say for sure that she got a warm reception in New Hampshire.  I attended four of her meetings. Three of them were before I myself became a Republican candidate for the same “vacancy”. The fourth was the anti-war panel with Dennis Kucinich, moderated by Law Professor Lawrence Lessig.

Folks were just about breathtaken by Tulsi’s non-political stance on this or that. Plus, she always looked great. (Whoever said looks don’t matter is wro-ong.)  It seemed likely she would win NH’s First-in the-Nation Primary of February 11th.   Other names on that Democrat ballot were Biden, Sanders, Warren, Klobuchar, Buttigieg, Williamson, Chang, and Steyer.

For all I know, the entire vote-count in every state could be rigged.  Jim Collier many years ago said that was provably the case. His book Votescam has been foolishly ignored.

Anyway, after a few more states held their primaries, all candidates dropped out except Biden, Bernie Sanders, and Ms Hawaii. She would still have been able to be a force, large or small, at the summer DNC convention, as she had amassed 2 delegates.

(In my case, the state of New Hampshire is allowed 22 Republican delegates.  Trump got most of the votes, and ex-Gov Bill Weld got 10% of what Trump got.  I got 8% of what Weld got.  Weld has now — surprisingly — pulled out.  I don’t know if that means that Weld’s delegates go downward to the likes of me, or if they are absorbed upward to Trump.)

No Bull Moose, So Far

On March 18, 2020 Tulsi withdrew. She did not have to, and she had promised she would stay the course.

She had also promised, against much whispering, that she would not become a third-party candidate. She would not start a “Bull Moose” party — the name of a party cooked up in 1916 apparently to help Democrat Woodrow Wilson grab the White House by splitting the Republican vote.

Conceivably, Gabbard could become, say, a Greens candidate.  In 2008 Cynthia McKinney was the presidential candidate of the Greens, though hardly anyone was aware of that!

Which brings up a mention of media. No one knows better than I, that the media will make like you don’t exist if you are not their preferred candidate. When I went to the “Primary’s broadcast headquarters” in the Doubletree Hotel in Manchester NH two days before the famous Feb 11 election, I tried to give my flyer to a MSM guy who said, “I’m not allowed to accept that.” Whew!

The Gobsmacking Disappointment

I am writing this article to mark an event, the withdrawal of Tulsi Gabbard from the 2020 race, and how it affects us all.

I am not here to dump on Tulsi, but to say that it’s a disaster that she let so many people down.  It would not have been a disaster if she had got voted out, as that is what most people expected.  But she voluntarily quit.  Worse she gave a hearty endorsement of Joe Biden.

We folks in Tulsi’s audiences had been elated that she kept telling her town-halls that she was one of us and would be in it FOR THE PEOPLE.  In the first week of July 2019, she advertised “Come run with Tulsi” — meaning a 5-kilometer race down a local street.

She also participated in other local things, full-on, including a surf on a freezing beach and a skate-boardlike snowboarding session in the White Mountains.  Sure, anybody can do photo-opportunities, and maybe I missed some Hollywoodization, but it seemed genuine to me.

Of course, it would sound genuine to me as she was saying what we in the Gumshoe community are always saying! Granted, she skirted the issue of the national debt, and her take on 9-11 wasn’t as out-and-out Inside Job as we would have liked. But she got it right on Syria!

The really spectacular thing at her town halls was that she was a young, smart, soldier-careered person with values. The word “love” got sprinkled around liberally. I kept thinking Is it possible she will be standing at the Inaugural podium taking the Oath next January?  (And might she be wearing a maternity dress that day?)

What’s on the Agenda Now?

TG has hugely let people down, not least veterans,  by her sudden kiss-up to the enemy, Joe Biden. I will print below some of the messages sent in under a Youtube video in which Kim Iverson, her alt-media bestie, went postal over Tulsi’s perfidy.

It looks to me that Ms Hawaii cannot now be welcomed by the crowd into a new position, such as Secretary of State. A deal may have been struck — possibly Biden has even offered to name her as his “running mate” for the VP job.

That would be unconstitutional.  Not the naming of Tulsi, or the making of a deal, but the whole nonsense of “running mates.”  Amendment 12 of the US Constitution says, in very plain English:

“The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President.”

See? In December 202 the Electors will meet — not together as a national group, just in each state — and they choose a VP. In about half the states (per state legislation) they can pick whomever they like — someone who was never even on any ballot.

Will I be sorry if Tusli gets elected Vice President?  Well, no, she is still better than the others. But it sure won’t have the same feel about it, given that she let her supporters down.

This, to repeat, was not an ordinary campaign. Tulsi was, for all practical purposes the leader of a rebellion. That rebellion has flipped over and died.

One can only hope that the many persons who hosted her townhalls and otherwise got really involved in America’s  New Look (which is mainly an Old Look), will realize that they do not need a particular figurehead.  They can re-invite their populace to meet and this time stir folks up with a plan of action, not just a plan to win an election.

One further pity, regarding Tulsi’s newfound status, is that she can’t serve to blast either the rigging of the voting machines or the suppression of her candidacy by media. Such blasting, if done now, would lack the authenticity of a “plaintiff” who is disadvantaged.

I say we are all disadvantaged by the vote-rigging and the media blackouts.  Those two matters should not be dropped. They should be prosecuted.  Remember whom you’re dealing with here at Gumshoe — the IDP, the Independent Dreamer Prosecutor. I say “Get ’em , get ’em,  get ’em.”

(Note: Tulsi did sue Google, but lost.)

Some Harsh Words

And now to demonstrate that Hell hath no fury like that of a voter scorned, here is the only-slightly cherry-picked list of comments — oh never mind, I will insert the Km Iverson video here and you can click on Youtube to read the scorned lovers’ yelps.  Some are pretty bad — “Snake in the grass,” “I never really trusted her,” etc.

Wait! Happy Days Are Here Again!

Hmm. A whole day has gone by since I watched that video.  I can’t help thinking it’s probably a good thing for us, who were excited by Tulsi, that we discover we are alone.

Really that thought is long overdue.   Just consider how we think something will be taken care of if there is a named person, or at least a named position to — supposedly — take care of it. But it can be disastrous to yield all authority and leadership to that person or position.

In the olden, olden days, leaders arose naturally when a problem needed to be solved.  Clearly that is not a practical set-up today. “Directing” has to be coordinated. We’ve invented institutions to do particular things. Now isn’t a good time to throw those institutions in the trash can. But neither do we have to be worshipful of them.

All positions are occupied by “mere humans.” As the saying goes, “there’s nobody here but us mice.” I believe anyone capable of pitching in ought to do so.  The uptight majority of the population should be told to loosen up a bit.

Looking back again at the Tulsi neighborhood meetings that I attended (from August 2019 to February 2020), she was a perfect symbol and model of how to be an ad hoc leader. She spoke sanely. She reassured people that their commonsensical thoughts are correct. She was not a champion of fighting the other (ahem) side.

Long story short, I don’t know why Ms Gabbard copped out. It did come as a shock to many.  But those who feel let down had better get back up on their horse and ride.

In short, thank you Ms Hawaii.

HEROIC: Gabbard Stands Her Ground, Says She Doesn’t Regret Meeting Assad

      https://russia-insider.com/en/heroic-gabbard-stands-her-ground-says-she-doesnt-regret-meeting-assad/ri25969

Having placed hope before reason and having praised her glowingly about her message of ‘Servant Leadership’ and anti-war stance, particularly in Syria, I started to doubt and mentioned so when she did this interview with Stephen Colbert in May 2019

She seems to say all the right ‘anti-war’ things but then it starts to go downhill from around 2:50.

      Then at 4:20+

Colbert: Do you believe that he [Assad] is a war criminal? Do you believe he gassed his own people or committed atrocities against his own people?

      **Gabbard: YES – reports have shown that that’s a fact … **

      https://youtu.be/i0jnKb8MDks?t=261

She had only recently been to Syria and had actually spoken with President Bashar al Assad – a very well informed and gently spoken man.

      Regarding the following video:

      • Tulsi on Trump’s Drone Strike

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQ-9LxPbW4Q

I note the video/account has since been removed but from 1:30, I just wish she would stop saying this

“… we have men and women in harm’s way – TODAY – in these countries – and what purpose are they serving. Originally it was that they needed to go into – to prevent another al Qaeda insurgency, an attack and threat to the United States – to defeat these terrorists that attacked us on 911.”

  1. She was my favorite. Ticked all the boxes, and would unreservedly have voted for her. Tried to tell my Dem friends about her and got “Who?”
And now she’s supporting Biden. What the…?

    • Dee, I have only now seen your massage above the donate button. How long has it been there?

Maybe there is something the Mum needs more than a “fighting fund”. Maybe she needs the code by which to break the hypnosis that all the court personnel seem to be under.

She should try snapping her fingers? If readers know of other methods (I bet Diane does), pray tell.

        • Ah Mary–a very wise woman once told me “the answers are within us-” and I believe they are–
Yes the knowledge is there but how to get past the guards–the gatekeepers- the rulers -how to overcome the tyranny- how to work in a higher frequency to by pass the silencing of the masses – due to the torture from the Tower. Yes the Tower of London.

          • Hi Diane

As an onlooker, I am thoroughly intrigued by this general topic and have been meaning to ask …

In Project Monarch by Ron Patton, we read

"There are numerous ”triggers” in this article. It is therefore recommended not to read it unless appropriate support systems are in place or if you have a thoroughly reintegrated personality. "

I won’t go into “Adam [“Brother Spartacus”] Weishaupt [who] was commissioned by the House of Rothschild to centralize the power base of the Mystery Religions into what is commonly known as the Illuminati”.

But Kurt Lewin is introduced as:

Kurt Lewin, a German psychologist, became the director of the Tavistock Institute in 1932, about the same time Nazi Germany was increasing its research into neuropsychology, parapsychology and multi-generational occultism.

Red flags all over the place here …

Yes, Lewin was from Germany, but even Wikipedia links him under the categorises “American people of German-Jewish descent”, “German Jews” and “Jewish American social scientists”.

            From his own wiki article

“**Lewin** is often recognized as the **"founder of social psychology"** and was one of the first to study **group dynamics and organizational development**.”

"He [Lewin] served as a professor at the University of Berlin from 1926 to **1932**, during which time he conducted **experiments about tension states**, needs, motivation, and learning"

Furthermore, there was no such thing as “Nazi” Germany in 1932. Germany was still under the Jewish-controlled Weimar regime [1918 to 1933] – although the National Socialists were becoming democratically popular.

Still trying to join these dots and am intrigued as to why – with such well documented and pioneering credentials and protocols already established – why they needed Mengele as a figurehead, with absolutely zero background or credentials in this field.

  2. I have no skin in the US politics game. Except as a eventual victim. She did suckered punch me a bit,and I’m not going to go the circle again. She was a good soldier and now dismissed.
The whole thing is rotten to the core and there never were good old days.
To the Americans who don’t vote, I believe a large percentage, regardless of amount of vilified (incarcerated etc) I salute you. One way or another you know a stinking corps(not sic) can not be fixed from the inside. We wish if ignored they would just expire, corona style, as they can never let us be.
Our low life are so motivated that they force us to the table so they think some kind of legal deal has being reached, stitch us up kangaroo style then piss off for no doubt some kind of “disturbing” ritual and fake accolade reward system. I have no standing but I call, non binding snake oil. Donkeys I wish I could salute you too but you give credence to these actors, that seem even incapable of following the last act nowadays. Looks like a dying sitcom just making stuff up as theystruggle with the script. Leaders, yes and by law, pathetic and embarrassing by species for sure.

  3. The Corona spring break will bring many innovations, now that we have slowed our usual ridiculous routines.

E.g., here is a note that just came to us grads, from the Uni of Adelaide:

“For our students, these actions include moving all lectures and tutorials online, and the regretful cancellation or postponement of all major student events, including graduation ceremonies.

“One example of how academic enthusiasm and creativity can be combined for the benefit of students is that of the Bachelor of Music Theatre, which is now being delivered online. Staff are setting tasks through online collaboration apps and students then share their efforts, be they songs, monologues or acting exercises, for staff feedback and peer review.

“Also, from next week, the Elder Conservatorium will be streaming its Friday Lunchtime Concert Series online to be enjoyed worldwide.* Our music graduates will also be invited to get involved in other online music performances; a wonderful opportunity for our international alumni.”

    *beats paying the ten bucks.

  4. For those who may say “America is not ready for a woman president,” please note: some people are trying to pull the 25th amendment on Trump (senile, must go), and that means if Pence gets the virus in a deadly way, Ol’ Nance is prez.

BBC announced that Prince Charles tested positive.

  5. “Taiwan has an electric fence program alerting authorities when quarantined people stray too far from home.”

“Frank Lowy, the co-founder of the Westfield shopping mall conglomerate, sold the company for $32 billion in 2017. Now retired, he spends most of the year out of Australia. He has a home in Tel Aviv, “the super-yacht Ilona, which moves between various Mediterranean ports in the northern summer,” and a home in New York”.

“Australia is ranked one of the worst countries in the developed world in terms of housing affordability and mortgage debt. Millions of young people have been locked out of home ownership, and many workers have astronomic mortgages, contributing to historically unprecedented levels of household debt.”

(Pratt) “friend of US President Donald Trump, Pratt has a family mansion, Raheen, in Melbourne, but spends much of his time at his penthouse atop the Sherry-Netherland hotel, which faces Central Park in New York’s Upper East Side. He and his family also own a residence in Westchester outside New York, “bought for a reported $15 million from actors Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones last July.”

“Forrest, who heads iron ore mining company Fortescue Metals Group, has an estimated wealth of $13.06 billion, making him the fourth richest on the list. His wealth has almost doubled from last year, when it was at $7.34 billion.
In later pages of the magazine, it is revealed that $60 million of Forrest’s $70 million pledge was, in fact, donated to his own “Minderoo Foundation,” which has net assets of $1.35 billion, placing its value above the bottom 130 fortunes in the List.”

The last para the most significant–

The “economic restructuring” imposed by the Hawke and Keating Labor governments in the 1980s and 1990s began the process, accompanied by the suppression of working-class struggles. This has facilitated the rapid enrichment of a small layer at the top of society.

    IS THE SKY REALLY FALLING?

“As I write this, the world — or a very large part of it — is effectively under martial law. To protect against a proposed enemy named coronavirus (COVID-19), schools have been closed, airline flights scrapped, theaters and restaurants shut down, churches shuttered, curfews put in place, public gatherings prohibited, national borders closed, people told not to touch or go near each other, every surface, door knob and human hand smothered with toxic disinfectant, and the population ordered to “shelter in place” in their homes.

And the people, from the USA to Norway to Bolivia to Australia to Egypt to Indonesia, have obeyed, not only without much protest, but with enthusiasm.

My inbox and voicemail are flooded with contradictory “information,” little of which is verifiable, less of which makes any sense, that is tailored to favorite points of scientific and political view. No one is looking at the big picture. No one is noticing that the mortality rates from all causes are going down, not up in most countries.

These experiments, and other facts about the 1918 flu, as well as about influenza in general, are thoroughly discussed and documented in chapters 7, 8 and 9 of my book, The Invisible Rainbow: A History of Electricity and Life (AGB Press 2017, Chelsea Green 2020).

    • Thanks, Diane. I see that the pleading letter which you quoted has been signed by 200,000 peeps as of today (“from 205 countries”). and here is another part of it:

“In order to transmit the enormous amounts of data required for the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G technology, when fully deployed, will use millimetre waves, which are poorly transmitted through solid material. This will require every carrier to install base stations every 100 metres[1] in every urban area in the world. Unlike previous generations of wireless technology, in which a single antenna broadcasts over a wide area, 5G base stations and 5G devices will have multiple antennas arranged in “phased arrays” [2],[3] that work together to emit focused, steerable, laser-like beams that track each other.

“Each 5G phone will contain dozens of tiny antennas, all working together to track and aim a narrowly focused beam at the nearest cell tower. The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted rules [4] permitting the effective power of those beams to be as much as 20 watts, ten times more powerful than the levels permitted for current phones.”

I think Dee had better run it as an article.
