War Crimes Off The Radar Emboldens the Perpetrator

The danger of allowing a country (or a ‘gang’ of criminals) to get away with murder, is that they become emboldened to kill more people. That is human nature.

And this is what has happened with Israel. 47 years ago they deliberately murdered 34 Americans – and they were allowed to get away with it. Israel jammed Liberty’s communications, and the US (military) ‘stood down’  – calling their fighters back. And then the US politic allowed these war crimes to go uninvestigated and unpunished. This perversion of justice not only helped propagate the Zionist myth that it was an ‘accident’, but continues to provide Israel a 007 licence.

When the former Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser was on radio (June 2014) with ABC’s 774 popular radio host, Jon Faine, Mr Fraser has said that the USS Liberty was a deliberate attack, to which Mr Faine replied, “that is a massive claim to make“. But Mr Fraser had referenced the Head of the CIA (Richard Helms), Secretary of State (Dean Rusk), Chief of Naval Operations (Admiral Thomas Moorer) and then Secretary of Defense (Clifford Clarke) to reach his determination.

A Survivor’s tale

Joe Meadors, a USS Liberty survivor, had contacted Mr Faine in June this year to inform him of the facts and also to express his concern that the radio host had lumped “all who opine that the attack was deliberate and premeditated as “conspiracy theorists” – which has a negative connotation. (Full email printed below)

After my video, Joe Meadors wrote to Mr Faine again asking him whether he had done his background research so he could review his belief that it was accidental. Mr Faine wrote back saying it had slipped off his radar (with Ebola and Iraq taking priority).

Neglecting past facts infects the future.

There’s a fundamental problem with crimes like these ‘slipping off the radar’. History has the opportunity to repeat itself, and the myth is allowed to propagate and infect the future.

And some organisations do not like anyone poking into these past ‘myths’. Australia/Israel & Jewish Affairs Council (AIJAC) national chairman Mark Leibler said in this article that he was “absolutely appalled” by the remarks (from former prime minister Malcolm Fraser). The article claims that there were overall 13 investigations finding it an accident.

Joe Meadors wrote to Dr. Danny Lamm, President, Zionist Federation of Australia, in which he pointed out (this an extract):

In Gareth Narunsky’s May 15, 2014 article in The Australian Jewish News you are quoted saying “The [USS Liberty] incident was subject to no less than 10 American investigations and an additional three Israeli investigations, all of which found that it was indeed an accident.”   

This is a claim that has over the years taken on mythological proportions. Unfortunately it is not true. In fact the US government has never conducted an investigation of the attack on our ship.

But the truth is bubbling to the surface.

On Michael Rivero’s What Really Happened, this was reported recently:

‘In a signed affidavit released at a Capitol Hill news conference, retired Capt. Ward Boston said Johnson and McNamara told those heading the Navy’s inquiry to “conclude that the attack was a case of ‘mistaken identity’ despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.”

It was “one of the classic all-American cover-ups,” said retired Admiral Thomas Moorer, a former Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman who spent a year investigating the attack as part of an independent panel he formed with other former military officials.’

Conflict of Interest?

There is another concern: There is a long list of senior US government officials and legislators that hold dual Israeli-US citizenship, proving Tel Aviv’s powerful influence over Washington’s decision-making process. Is Israel being ‘protected’ over the interests of the American people?  And would this have happened if the USS Liberty had been proved a premeditated and deliberate attack some time ago?  A large number of Israelis sit in the Senate and House of Representatives (report in presstv, Aug 2014).

Prominent US-Israeli officials include the Attorney General, Head of Homeland Security, Chairman of Pentagon’s Defense Policy Board, former Deputy Defense Secretary, Undersecretary of Defense, National Security Advisor, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, Director of Policy Planning at the State Department, US Trade Representative, Pentagon’s Defense Policy Board, former UN Ambassador, White House Political Director, White House Speechwriter, Deputy Secretary of Commerce, and Pentagon’s Defense Policy Board.

The (Israeli) lawmakers at the US Congress have the power to propose and vote on crucial bills like waging wars, or approve lucrative government contracts in favor of Israel. Tens of billions of US tax payers dollars are being sent to Israel. This is not a judgement on whether Israel deserves the funds or not – this just exposes what seems to be ‘Insider Trading‘ in a gargantuan geopolitical ‘exchange’ (and possibly NOT in the interests of the US tax payer).

It is no wonder the truth over USS Liberty has to be buried. And  Australia (as usual) is obediently doing it’s part. Take Australia’s Foreign Minister Julie Bishop’s double standard for example:

Disregarding the evidence and before investigation outcomes, she claimed/claims that the Russian President was/is responsible for the downing of MH17. Yet, in 2010 when it was discovered that Mossad had forged Australian passports which were apparently used by suspects in the killing of a top Hamas leader in Dubai, Bishop said:  “There is no actual proof that the Israeli Government was involved. There is an assumption”, and said the Rudd government overreacted.

The ABC and Radio

And with regard to Mr Faine (ABC radio host). I hope he will do his research or have Joe Meadors (USS Liberty survivor) on his show – so Mr Meadors can share his experiences with the Australian public. But many topics are ‘verboten’ on his morning show – with 9/11 probably topping the list.  Yes – the Australian ABC will provide excellent coverage in minute detail when it comes to ‘dinky’ offences. But it too, plays its part in protecting the perpetrators of some of the most egregious murders on humanity.

Below – another radio host (and politician): George Galloway educates an American. Maybe he should also focus on Canberra.

Jon,

Thank you for your kindness in responding to my enquiry. It is a courtesy not extended by all.

My concern is not about the attack on our ship or how it was described but in your apparent lumping all who opine that the attack was deliberate and premeditated as “conspiracy theorists” – a descriptor that over the years has taken on a decidedly negative connotation.

Let me be clear. Anyone who researches the attack on our ship is perfectly within their right to reach their conclusions based upon whatever evidence they deem to be appropriate.

So are we. We have researched the evidence of the attack and have concluded that it was deliberate and  premeditated.

We saw the unmarked aircraft; we heard the jamming of our radios on both US Navy tactical and international maritime distress frequencies; we witnessed the deliberate machine gunning of life rafts we had dropped over the side in anticipation of abandoning ship; we witnessed the slow circling of our ship by Israeli torpedo boats as they fired from close range at crewmen who were either trapped topside or who ventured topside to help their wounded shipmates; we saw the Israeli helicopters filled with armed assault troops hover very close to our ship in an apparent attempt to find a place to allow those troops to rappel down to the ship; we witnessed the torpedo boats immediate departure from the scene of the attack after cessation of hostilities instead of offering assistance as is their obligation under international law.

We have also learned that testimony from eye witnesses about the deliberate machine gunning of our life rafts in the water has been removed from the record of the US Navy Court of Inquiry Report; that Findings of Fact in the US Navy Court of Inquiry Report are not supported by evidence and testimony in the record as is required by the rules that govern Courts of Inquiry; that there is nothing in the Court of Inquiry Report about the recall of two flights of rescue aircraft on orders from The White House; that statements provided to the Court by some 65 USS Liberty crewmen have disappeared; that the endorsement by the Court’s Presiding Officer was conditional and based on information then available to the Court; that the responsibility for the review of the US Navy Court of Inquiry Report in preparation of submitting it for endorsement by the Convening Authority (ADM John S. McCain) was removed from McCain’s Legal Advisor, Capt. Merlin Staring, when Staring found a myriad of significant mistakes committed by the Court, told McCain that his review would take a considerable amount of time and that he refused to conduct the requested cursory examination of the Report for McCain’s endorsement.

We also know that the attack on our ship is the only attack of its kind in US naval history NOT to be the subject of a Congressional investigation; that the Department of Defense has refused to conduct an investigation based upon the allegations made in the War Crimes Report we submitted to them on June 8, 2005 despite the requirement that they do so; that the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) has refused to investigate the crimes contained in the War Crimes Report despite the fact that one of those crimes is a capital offense; that Members of Congress routinely include text provided not by USS Liberty survivors but by Israel or her supporters in their boilerplate responses to their constituents who write to inquiry about the attack; that Members of Congress refuse to modify their boilerplate responses to one based upon eye-witness accounts; that for decades no Member of Congress has attended our annual memorial service held on June 8^th in Washington, DC; that the Department of Defense, Navy Department, American Legion and Navy League likewise have all refused to send an official to our annual memorial service despite the fact that the memorial service is being held in Washington, DC.

Whether or not you  deem these facts as supporting the possibility that the attack was the deliberate and premeditated act that we say it was I’m sure you will agree that it is impossible for all the parties referenced above to enter into a conspiracy to ignore the evidence supporting our conclusion and to treat USS Liberty survivors and the families of our fallen shipmates in such a disgusting manner to the extent that those of us who point these facts out can be described by the pejorative “Conspiracy Theorist.”

Indeed, with the patriotic fervor and overwhelming support for the military gripping the US I cannot imagine the outrage that would be displayed should such a conspiracy be uncovered and made public.
