This week, the mainstream news was proclaiming a victory in Mosul.
Skynews reported “Iraqi PM celebrates Mosul victory over IS”
“Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is set to declare victory over Islamic State in Mosul as only a few dozen militants put up resistance in the city that was the capital of their self-declared caliphate for the past three years. Gunfire and explosions could be heard as the US-led coalition pounded the remaining few Islamic State positions.”
As the Iraqi army took back Mosul, alternative outlets were calling it a genocide
Information Clearing House reported this on July 27th: “Mosul’s Bloodbath: ‘We Killed Everyone – IS, Men, Women, Children’.
“The Iraqi soldier looks out from his tiny three-walled room across a wasteland… ‘We killed them all,’ he says quietly. ‘Daesh, men, women and children. We killed everyone.’
“Hundreds of corpses lie half-buried in the broken masonry and rubble that was once a bustling, historic quarter. The stench of decaying flesh, which comes fast in the 50C summer heat, overwhelms the senses.
“an Iraqi army major tells… ‘After liberation was announced, the order was given to kill anything or anyone that moved’… the major said the orders were wrong, but the military had to follow them. ‘It was not the right thing to do,’ he said. ‘Most of the Daesh fighters surrendered. They gave themselves up, and we just killed them’.”
What Happened to Cantlie’s Mosul?
In November 2012 two journalists, James Foley and John Cantlie (US and British respectively) were captured by rebels in war ravaged Syria. The journalists were held hostage and reported to have been tortured. Foley was allegedly beheaded, but as I wrote about in this article a crew in a green-screen studio was filmed practicing the beheading scenario.
Cantlie somehow survived. His survival instincts must have kicked into high gear, and the Englishman became a media asset for ISIS. He landed up in Mosul and made a series called ‘Lend Me Your Ears‘. His videos often portrayed Mosul as a bustling city going about its business. As the years went on he became more haggard looking and thin. His last video appears to have been posted 6 months ago (December 2016) — focusing on the destruction of the city and its bridges.

One wonders whether he survived. If so, he would be able to tell two sides of the story.
Now there is nothing left.
The Original Plan
Is the destruction of the Middle East on schedule? One has to wonder.
We know that the Neocons (in the Pentagon) had mapped out the destruction of SEVEN countries in five years — back in 2001. To quote Gen Wesley Clark, “starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran”. This was revealed to us in 2007, by insider Clark, a retired US Army General and retired NATO Commander — who refuses to talk about it these days.
I wonder who the Neocons were taking orders from back then.
It seems to me that the plan is a little behind schedule – although they have been spectacularly successful with Iraq and Libya, and others are partly ruined. Syria has proved more difficult than expected — perhaps because its president, Dr Assad, is keenly aware of the program, and resists. He also has the support of Russia.
Are they still planning to finish off Iran? The mainstream media and Israel’s prime mister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu constantly reminds us that Iran is the dangerous war monger. Really? The country has not had a war in 600 years — apart from American aggressions through Iraq – and through the 1953 coup d’etat. The British, under “Operation Boot,” and the US, under “Operation Ajax,” orchestrated regime change in Iran in 1953.
I have been told “ISIS is an Israeli proxy army, carving out ‘Israel’ from The Nile to The Euphrates, from North Africa up to The Black Sea.”
If We Can’t Have It — No One Will Have It
On the surface it may look like an oil grab, but that doesn’t completely explain things.
In Politico, Steve Everly writes:
“On a cool summer day in London in 1951, an American CIA officer told three British oil executives about a top-secret U.S. government plan. The goal was to ravage the Middle East oil industry if the region were ever invaded by the Soviet Union. Oil wells would be plugged, equipment and fuel stockpiles destroyed, refineries and pipelines disabled—anything to keep the USSR from getting its hands on valuable oil resources. The CIA called it the ‘denial policy’.”
Declassified documents from 1955 show that Anglo-Americans were prepared to destroy the Middle East oil fields rather than let them fall into Soviet hands. In a study for the British Chiefs of Staff, made available in the National Security Archive:
“the most complete method of destroying oil installations would be by nuclear bombardment…”
No one should be surprised by this plan, that these Western leaders were happy to destroy the parts of the planet.
In this battle over the region, no value is placed on life whatsoever.
What a world of satanic butchering barbarians we have. So called civilisation! God’s “chosen people”. This is why I want no part of any God.
Oy Vey! Mr Yinon will be pleased.
“…………. satanic barbaric butchering barbarians we have”.
So we have and are.
It’s-Your-ABC says:
The United Nations estimates it will cost $US1 billion ($1.25 billion) to restore infrastructure in Mosul. Earlier this year, the Australian Government issued a statement which said special funding would be allocated to Mosul.
“In recognition of the ongoing situation in Iraq, on 25 April 2017 the Prime Minister announced that Australia would contribute a further $110 million through international organisations for continued humanitarian assistance and increased stabilisation support in Iraq,” the Department of Foreign Affairs statement read.

Not Off-topic
Just think, 21 years ago, a town in Tasmania was a try-out for this sort of thing, especially the Murdoch media control of it.
Hey, World, why was a huge international meeting of “journalists” going on in Hobart on the very day of the Port Arthur massacre? Who arranged it? When did the invitations go out?
Maybe Rick knows. Does Sgt Fogarty know? Ray Groom? Justice Cox? John Howard? Paul Mullens? Just askin’.
Silence is very dangerous and self-defeating. Ask Mosul.
Who arranged that conference, I wonder?
And the also co-terminous meeting of surgeons in Hobart.
Dear Peeps, If you did not watch the Cantile video above, please watch at least the first 2 minutes of it.
And, if you are stateside, hang your head in shame. They (we?) have deprived the ordinary people of water.
(That video is a year old, July 2016.)

reckon if you interviewed Gillian Trigg you might get some insights into msm control- Murdoch Howard Brandis Ruddock agendas Insiders got stuck into her last Sunday in unison – clearly orchestrated.
“she would become one of the most controversial and polarising statutory office-holders in Australia’s history: lauded for her fearless and unflinching advocacy by human rights groups and vilified by the right-wing commentariat.”
speaking of Rupert interesting footage re 75th Anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea- May 2017–Trump and Turnbill on the Intrepid then Murdoch appears very chummy.
Forgot to mention Murdoch is a Knight of Malta amongst other things
Dee, please pick apart who the players are.
Were Oz troops, or “technicians,” in the action against “the enemy” in Mosul? Who is the enemy? If u say ISIS, I will say but what ethnic groups are represented in ISIS? Are most of them mercenaries? If so, on whose payroll.
What is the US alliance? Does this mean we (Americans) have married an Iraqi governor? (Remember when Paul Bremer was governor of Iraq?)
What was the population of Mosul 10 yrs ago, 5 yrs ago, and today? Were there churches there? Synagogues? We know there were mosques.
Pardon my asking but who can deal the with putrefying corpses? I had the impression white phosphorus was used for this problem (I am speaking from ignorance, just recall reading that somewhere).
I will answer the other questions in the morning.
But Mary, imagine a city a third larger than your Adelaide of 1.2 million people. Well in 2004 Mosul was 1.8 million. It is hard to imagine what Canberra would do if Adelaide plus a few more towns had been decimated. We just can’t take in the scale of what has been happening.
We need to shock-and-awe ourselves.
