JFK with General Lyman Lemnitzer

GumshoeNews runs a lot of articles about false flags, as though they are very naughty. They are not intrinsically naughty – they are virtuous in the Hobbesian sense, provided they are not intended to deceive the domestic population. You be the judge of Operation Northwoods. Was it naughty or virtuous?
It was written in 1962 with the intention of having the US invade Cuba, which was then the only communist nation in the Western hemisphere. Probably most Americans would have approved.
Here is the declassified memo that tells the story. It proposes a hoax plane crash to prepare people for a US invasion of Cuba for: the Secretary of Defense March 23, 1962
… Joint Chiefs of Staff are to indicate brief description of pretexts, which they consider, would provide justification for US military intervention in Cuba….
World opinion, and the United States forum should be favorably affected by developing the international image of the Cuban government as rash and irresponsible, and as an alarming and unpredictable threat to the peace of the West…
[we can] a. Sabotage ship in harbor; large fires, naphthalene. Conduct funerals for mock victims… c. Commence large-scale … military operations…. A “Remember the Maine” incident could be arranged in several forms…
4. We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in Miami area, and even in Washington… We could sink a boatload of Cubans en route to Florida (real or simulated).
We could foster attempts on lives of Cuban refugees in the United States even to the extent of wounding in instances to be widely publicized… C-46 type aircraft could make cane-burning raids at night. Soviet Bloc incendiaries could be found…
7. Hijacking attempts against civil air and surface craft should appear to continue as harassing measures condoned by the government of Cuba
8. It is possible to create an incident, which will demonstrate convincingly that a Cuban aircraft has attacked and shot down a chartered civil airliner en route from US to Jamaica
a. An aircraft at Eglin AFB would be painted and numbered as an exact duplicate for a civil registered aircraft belonging to a CIA proprietary organization.
[It] would be loaded with the selected passengers, all boarded under carefully prepared aliases. The actual registered aircraft would be converted to a drone. b. At precisely the time that the aircraft was presumably shot down, a submarine or small surface would disburse F-101 parts, parachute, etc.

I would like to know whom Lyman Lemnitzer really worked for. He had one of those amazing careers. He graduated from West Point in 1920 and in WWII worked directly under Eisenhower.
(How did Eisenhower get chosen for his own big role in WWII? Who appointed him? Look it up!)
At the point at which he signed the Northwoods memo Lemnitzer was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs – meaning the heads of each of the services at the Pentagon. He got all of them to sign the memo. (Like they were going to resist? Do generals resist? That is an interesting matter about which I know nothing, except that Admiral Boorda is said to have attempted to arrest President Clinton).
In the 1940s Lemnitzer had been involved with the American ingathering of Mafiosi in Italy for the alleged purpose of aiding the war effort.
From 1963-1969 Lemnitzer was “Supreme Allied Commander in NATO.” Hey wait a minute – who other than Allies could have been in NATO? I must have missed something. I thought NATO, in those days, was the answer to a maiden’s prayer against the Warsaw pact, i.e., Commies.
Bay of Pigs Type Thing
I reed a rumor, which I do not credit, that “Lyman” cooked up the failure of the Bay of Pigs adventure of the CIA in order to ruin President Kennedy. As I said of Trump, whom can a president trust?
At a blog entitled progressivepress.com (please don’t tell anybody I went to a site that has the word “progressive” in it), I saw mention of Lyman as a possible killer of JFK. It is a report of a book written by Richard Cottrell.
I don’t buy it. An army man would not be high enough up in the food chain to control all the Dallas police, the world media, and everybody else. Still here is a little appetizer from the progressive press:
“In 1965, on Lemnitzer’s NATO watch, a plot to kill Gen. De Gaulle led to the eviction of NATO HQ from Paris to Brussels. Cottrell documents the extreme contempt LL felt for both JFK and De Gaulle. [Cottrell] also fingers Gladio in several of the most high-profile European assassinations of our times, including Aldo Moro, Pope John Paul II, Olaf Palme, and the Umbrella Murder.”
Yes, on the Olaf Palme murder, Bingo. It’s analyzed by Daniele Ganser in a well-documented book NATO’s Secret Armies.
Wait a minute, who has got “secret armies.” They must be somebody’s, right? An Italian court found Henry Kissinger to have helped Aldo Moro leave this world.
Whom does Henry work for?
Whom did Lemnitzer really work for? And who fed him the plan for all those fake props in the water off the Florida coast?
Did the same guys help set the scene “near the finish line” in 2013?

One of the most interesting things about Northwards is the parallels with 9/11 asDee has noted. There are many other examples and the recent gas attacks in Syria are but one illustration.
General Smedley Butler’s book, War is a Racket, should be used as a warning for all aspiring American freshman politicians to come to know that the military/intelligence systems Congress has control over is in fact beholden to other interests.
History shows that Northwood was canned and responsibility for undermining Castro taken away from the military and given to the CIA to run – hence the Bay of Pigs fiasco. Allen Dulles, a lawyer by trade with Nazi links, and who was the then Director in charge of the CIA at that time, became conspicuously absent from his post as that ‘operation’ got underway and ‘overseas’ doing what he did best, remaining aloof from all the things he had put into action so as to save his own butt in case of failure.
Obviously the ‘buck’ of failure did not stop at Allen Dulles’ desk according to Allen Dulles, but the President’s desk, in this case Kennedy, who became the fall guy for that fiasco and it was the fallout from that fiasco that set his eventual murder into train.
When Truman was President he immediately disbanded the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) after the end of WW2, for reasons of security, but then, and inextricably, brought into being the NSA/CIA under the control of the NSC when both agencies should have been under direct control of the President.
Today the NSC is sill responsible for the running of ‘national security’ and it operates under the National Security Act of 1947 and in particular part…..(5) perform such other functions and duties related to intelligence affecting the National Security as the NSC from time to time may direct.
And therein that simple sentence exposes the very heart of much of our problem today.

Are you suggesting that the Bay of Pigs fiasco was the reason Kennedy was murdered?
You refer to Kennedy’s eventual murder. Be it by Oswald, why would Oswald murder Kennedy for the Cuba event?
Ned, I am suggesting nothing, merely quoting history as it is recorded and as it is hidden from those folk who are prepared to accept the ‘narrative’ as put out by those who do the deeds, especially the JFK murder.
And on that note; With all the evidence now available do you still believe that it was a lone gunman who shot JFK?
When one looks up Oswald’s background after delving into the assassination, then one soon comes to the realization that Lee Harvey Oswald was the fall guy for the assassination.
There is a great movie available, that I believe is about as close as the inquisitive will ever get to unravel how the Kennedy murder came about. That movie is Oliver Stone’s JFK that I cannot recommend highly enough for those who seek to cut through all the hype that has grown up around this most tragic event for the United States.
