Trump Might Adopt Many Canberra Politicians If He’s President

The idea that Donald Trump might become President of the United States frightens most Australians.

I was at a script meeting last week, and during a brief segue from our fictional story, someone mentioned Trump. When asked, I suggested that both Presidential candidates were a poor choice, but I’d reluctantly tick “Trump.” I was figuratively shown the door in no uncertain terms.

The hate for Trump is prodigious, and it seems Australia is emotionally unprepared if he becomes President.

Even Australia’s former ambassador to the United States Kim Beazley is reported to have said that a Trump victory “would be an absolute disaster in our region”, and that “a Trump presidency would cause substantial problems in relations with China and sink the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement.”

But Mr Beazley, even the ABC’s The Drum is reporting that the Trans-Pacific Partnership is designed to entrench the interests of major corporations at the expense of ordinary citizens and their governments.

Donald Trump

Sexism, racism, guns, and islamophobism sell papers, and so the tsunami of anti-Trump content has been relentless in Australia. Very little is written about his tax policy, NAFTA, the TPP, protectionism, currency manipulation, tariffs and manufacturing.

Let’s take a look at how Trump’s views and promises align with Australian politicians?

1. The “Abbott Stop The Boats” Promise – Trump announced his candidacy with the promise to stop the boats — sorry — I mean build a wall on US border with Mexico — and have them pay for it. Maybe Trump could advise Canberra how to stop paying billions housing refugees in detention off-shore detention centres.

2. Trump’s “Nick Xenophon — Bring Back Manufacturing” promise. Trump will hold talks with Xenophon to discuss their desired plans to bring manufacturing back to home base in the US and Australia.

3.  In Trump’s “Aussie Greens Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) Remedy,” he would withdraw the US from the TPP and renegotiate NAFTA to bring jobs back for the benefit American workers. He is in sync with the Greens who advertise that “the TPP is actually more dangerous than we expected,” especially with the Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) provisions.

4. Trump’s “Pauline Hanson Muslim Immigration” plan will slow down Muslim immigration — and send many back where they came from.

5. Trump disagrees with Canberra as he wants to stop any “shirt-fronting” with Putin and cooperate with Russia — but he agrees with former prime minister Tony Abbott who scrapped the carbon tax.

Trump wants to remove the US from the Paris climate accord, and has threatened to dismantle the Environmental Protection Agency — following in Abbott’s footsteps abolishing the Climate Commission. He is also planning to enlist Senator Malcolm Roberts as a climate-change adviser.

6.The Lambie Appointment — Trump is preparing to co-opt Independent Tasmanian Senator Jacqui Lambie to manage Chinese relations for him. Lambie is presently vowing to push for an overhaul of the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB), and Trump will get her to instruct the US Treasury Secretary to label China a currency manipulator to prevent them gaining advantage in the US market. They’ll click as they both have a high regard for veterans.

7. Trump will adopt the “Turnbull’s Terror-Safe Policy.”  Trump echoes Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, who said, “…my most important obligation, my most important responsibility as the Prime Minister of Australia, is to keep the people of Australia safe.”  And Trump, “I have a message for all of you… Beginning on January 20th 2017, safety will be restored.”

Trump and the Press

But when it comes to Trump, the Australian mainstream media (MSM) have the uncanny skill of twisting facts whenever they can find an opportunity.

The other day the MSM reported that Trump was encouraging violence towards his opponent Hillary Clinton. He was not. He was presenting a satirical argument about getting Clinton to disarm her guards whilst she was being a strident advocate for gun control — for everyone else.

I listened to his speech. It was clearly satirical — ending with the words, “Take their guns away, OK? It’ll be very dangerous.”

Hillary Clinton

Meanwhile, Canberra is still drooling over Hillary. But it is clear that Hillary is a very bad choice.

What Really Happened reports that back in 1996, when Bill Clinton was running for re-election, he authorized the transfer of highly sensitive technology to China. It seems to be happening all over again.

“The Clintons [are] treating US secrets as their own personal property, and selling them to raise money for campaigns!”

There is so much written about Hillary’s “Body Count“, “China-Gate” and her role in the death of the US ambassador in Benghazi. Citizens are calling for her to be jailed for her team copying intel off a top-secret server, and Govtslaves.com writes:

“There isn’t much about Hillary Clinton that isn’t tainted, co-opted or politically compromised. Indeed, she may well be the most corrupt presidential candidate in the history of our country.”

She might be just ahead of most of the polls at the moment, but other hurdles lie ahead.

The MSM finally acknowledged her health issues, and it seems clear she suffers from seizures and a medical problem.

And now there’s a documentary feature coming called “Clinton Inc.” Dailymail.co.uk reports that “Hillary is in for a new walloping” as the film hits 1,000 screens in October. (Trailer)

There is one person who does not want Hillary to become president, and that is Mike Rivero. He writes about how he discovered Hillary’s lover, Vince Foster, was murdered.

“This is the story that nobody dares touch. This is the story that ended my career in Hollywood back in 1994.

“On July 20, 1993, six months to the day after Bill Clinton took office as President of the United States, the White House Deputy Council, Vincent Foster, told his secretary Deborah Gorham, “I’ll be right back”. He then walked out of his office… That was the last time Vincent Foster was seen alive.

“Vincent Foster’s connection to the Clinton’s was primarily via Hillary, rather than Bill…  [full story here]

Mike is interviewed about the race to the White house below (May 2016).

  1. Apparently HRC has just released a new book “Stronger Together” – it has sold literally ‘several’.

A couple of the book review comments on Amazon:

    * “I bought the kindle version but have had to ask for a refund from Amazon because there appeared to be nothing but 33,000 deleted pages in it.”

    * “I was going to read this book…..I really was. But just as I got started, I found myself under sniper fire, passed out, and fell and hit my head. … … … I still want to read it, but, honestly, what difference at this point does it make?”

    I might add …

    … Just “Deplorable” !!

  2. Trump also lies a lot and has an ego as large as the great outdoors. He’s a fronting windbag. (And Hillary is the same.)

The powers-that-shouldn’t-be are playing games with us. I’m sure they’re having a pretty good time with this one. They’ve put up two seemingly very different individuals as candidates, but regardless of which of them might “win” the election, the same policies would be carried out. It’s somewhat entertaining if you can step back and overlook the idea that one of these crooks could be running the U.S. in the near future.

    • The president does not run the US.
      Congress does.
      I am speaking only constitutionallly.
in reality, who runs the US?

It is clearly not the pres, altho maybe when Bush Senior was in, he did. All the others in my lifetime were servants: Truman, Ike, LBJ, poor old Nixon, Ford (OMG), Carter, Reagan, Clinton, Dubbya, Obongo. I left JFK off the list as I do not know what that was all about. His Dad bought him in thru a false Illinois vote count? I think both candidates today will not be alive on Nov 2.

  3. Surely you don’t still believe that voters have the power to elect in the US? We’ve seen this year alone that Hillary is untouchable and the way MSM has gone after Trump.
We’re all programmed enough now that whenever we hear Trump mentioned in MSM, we automatically think he’s said something dumb again and fucked up.
I honestly think he’s instilled as a distraction, there’s just no way Hillary’s not getting in !

  4. The civilian disarmament movement is the heart & soul of all pro-Hillary/anti-Trump propaganda: Just like Gollum in “Lord of the Rings” “our” MSM/Gov is being wholly propelled by an invisible hand

    Gandalf summed it up nicely:
    “ever are the untrustful untrustworthy”

  5. LOL, No doubt about you Dalia, you excel at bringing me my daily laughs. Thanks for that.
IMHO, the funny thing with this so called electioneering in the U.S. and the pliable sheeple, no one has the back bone to stand up in front of the crowd and demand answers to the HARD questions that are not being asked by the people that should be asking them. This includes the folks you appear to be rubbing shoulders with. They are terrified to be in the spot light, with a differing opinion from their employer, who also is a slave to the Corporate entity. Once it is discovered that they may actually be using their brains and seeing the real World, their employment would be terminated quick smart, (as has already been clearly demonstrated by many now unemployed folks in the U.S.)
We have yet, to hear of similar events occurring here, thankfully we have legislation that prevents such action, however that too, will disappear under the TPTA.
I beg people to Judge these President aspirants on their behavior in the past, not their empty promises. What have they done for their citizens in the past that benefited them all ????
Dillary, is a WAR CRIMINAL, period. Folks can waffle on as much as they like about her, that will never wash the blood of her hands, her contempt for the citizens of America has also been clearly displayed by her behavior towards the citizenry and of course the Congress protocol and email saga, together with her utter contempt for Laws, U.S. laws, International laws, whatever, thus disqualifying herself from any run in the election.
Beats me, why folks think the sun shines from her nether regions, when the above facts are clear, for anyone who wishes to see them. Why folks would like someone like that for President, is simply beyond my understanding.
Trump, on the other hand, does not have blood on his hands, is not a war monger, and would be obliged to follow Laws, both domestic and international. In fact he is on record as saying he would REDUCE U.S. bases, whereas Dillary would INVADE Syria.
IMHO, humanity would be doing themselves a massive disservice by allowing Dillary anywhere near the Whitehouse. Her proper place for the future, is in a retirement home, if humanity is to survive on this planet.
Regards the Australian politicians in Canberra ???? They are owned, lock, stock and barrel by the Whitehouse, and work only to support their masters there, with their responsibilities to Australians coming a distant last. No one has demonstrated that better today,, than our lame duck P.M. Turnbull with his stupid utterings whilst overseas. America is welcome to the lot of them, give us a chance to use the broom, to clean out the rubbish and start anew.

  6. O.K. I finished trying to over-analyse this “Thing” (we all know what this “thing” is-everything) It’s very simple. Hillary is the most wretched, criminal, dangerous, disgusting, perverted creature on the planet. So she’s out of the question. Then there’s Trump. If he’s the real deal, then at least we have a chance of getting rid of our criminal elites. If not, we’re toast anyway, so I’m backing Trump. And I’ll take my lumps if TPTB have conned me again.
At least it’s entertaining to watch.
