I was hugely disappointed. As a filmmaker I had written to ABC2 with a query about making an investigative piece on the mystery of MH17. They replied that between news and the various arms within the ABC – that they had it covered. I was happy to hear that. Well on FOUR CORNERS on Monday night they did just that. They covered MH17. But what this prestigious program did on the 8th September was ignore the evidence and potentially provide ‘COVER’ for the real offenders.
My first post on the 19th July focused on the evidence available that questioned the spin that Russia was to blame, but they reported as fact – that a BUK missile was fired by pro-Russian separatists shot down MH17 – and even inserted a cheesy animation of a missile shooting into the lens. This fact disclosed before any investigation outcome. The ABC has consistently ignored clear evidence of BULLET-LIKE HOLES as described by the first monitor on the ground.
Michael Bociurkiw, a Ukrainian-Canadian monitor with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) was one of two monitors first at the site – and over days became intimate with the wreckage. The CLIP below is an extract from a much longer interview on CBC where he mentions that three pieces of wreckage showed clear indications of machine gun fire – and (casual) observation saw NO signs of a missile attack.
I had sent the head of news at ABC24 a link to my reports regarding this evidence.
Let me state now – Our company has put in a few proposals to the ABC – and I am hoping to secure a contract/s over the next decade (either in documentaries or a drama series) from Australia’s major source of bread and butter for filmmakers. So I may well be criticizing a future employer – so, I have not taken this post lightly.
But enough is enough.
If the ABC is exposing abattoir malpractice, or refugee abuse, or local politics – they can be excellent. But on important major geopolitical corporate issues – like MH17 – they do not report objectively. And this is not in the interests of the of the people of Australia.
You have the right wing Liberals and commentators like Andrew Bolt bleating about the LEFTIST slant of the ABC. That’s a nonsense. So ABC commentators, radio hosts and news readers, don’t take their comments to heart. You aren’t that left. Those neocon imitators have just swung right off the dial. But unfortunately – left leaning though you may be – many of you have your EYES WIDE SHUT.
How can a prestigious ABC investigating program (as Four Corners is) not pick up the bleeding obvious and report it? BULLET-LIKE HOLES IN THE FUSELAGE and UKRAINIAN FIGHTER JETS ON RUSSIAN RADAR. (And there is much more evidence in a previous post). I note that the program did mention that Ukraine stepped up the war in that area as the International investigators arrived. They explained this as Ukraine taking military advantage – but this may have been to impede investigators from getting to the site. The consequence of blaming Russia – as I have said in previous posts – is a dangerous affair. And Australia has stepped in the middle of a Petrodollar war where wily KLEPTOCRATS are busy manipulating the geopolitics in Ukraine. I’m no fan of Putin, but I am anti resources grabbing (previous post) and anti-war.
I am hugely disappointed that the ABC seems to be ‘manipulated’ when it comes to these critical global issues – like 9-11, Bilderberg, and now MH17. And on these topics the ABC is just a tweak to the left of the Murdoch (CIA) propagandist press.
To ignore crucial evidence in a criminal case involving 37 (or 38) murdered Australians – is shocking. I have written to the Foreign Ministers office several times since the downing of the plane, and they eventually passed my query about a secret non-disclosure deal onto the AFP.
A day later – the preliminary report from the Dutch and the ABC news report yesterday has contradicted the Four Corners report. (And I have predicted what the report will eventually say here at the end of the post)
I may have very well shot myself in the foot – bankrupted my future in the Australian television business with this post. So be it. I am so tired of us being fed lies. I just hope that the ABC is fair minded enough to not blacklist me. But we should all strive for a better, more truthful and more peaceful world. Honest journalism in these global ‘new world order’ issues provides more checks and balances to keep the war mongers and the corpratocracy in line. And our Australian mainstream media have failed in this task.
