PM Abbott Backflipped When Murdoch Media Keeps Pushing “Jab”

November 2006: Federal Health Minister Tony Abbott has said that he would not be rushing to have his own daughters vaccinated against cervical cancer. “I won’t be rushing out to get my daughters vaccinated, maybe that’s because I’m a cruel, callow, callous, heartless bastard but, look, I won’t be,” Mr Abbott said on Southern Cross radio (report here).

April 2015: Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Social Services Minister Scott Morrison (appointed Dec 14) announce the historic “no jab, no play” reforms, which mean parents who fail to immunise their children will no longer be paid the $200-a-week childcare benefit, the $7500-a-year childcare rebate or the $726 Family Tax Benefit A annual supplement. This could risk up to $30,000 a year for a family with two young children. The changes will come into effect from January 1, 2016 (report here).

“Prime Minister Tony Abbott is a moron”read Jon Rappoport’s report here, and his latest report “Australia: everybody must get vaccinated, except the Prime Minister’s daughtershere.

Gumshoenews has written several articles on the campaign against Dr Tenpenny visiting Australia, and I wrote on the the 13th of April that I had noticed a splurge of pro-vaccination commentary across the mainstream media. And as our media is primarily under Murdoch ownership, it did not surprise me to read:

“Murdoch Behind Mandatory Vaccination Push in Australia”

This is an extract from Soren Dreier’s April 28 article.

“In a speech to a dinner held by the free market Institute of Public Affairs in 2013, the prime minister praised Rupert Murdoch as one of the top three Australians who have “most shaped the world” and said that the mogul’s publications “have borne his ideals but never his fingerprints.” However, the 84-year-old business magnate is not the only Murdoch who has reportedly influenced the fate of vaccines and has transformed diseases into the business model of vaccine companies such as GlaxoSmithKline.

James, the younger son of the media mogul joined Glaxo in 2009 as a non-executive director and sat on its ethics committee. The Chairman of the pharmaceutical company was delighted by the man’s record in corporate responsibility, but Age of Autism wrote that, within two weeks of his appointment, News international had published at least five articles attacking the integrity of MMR researcher Andrew Wakefield.

…Wakefield was the victim of a smear campaign in the U.K. funded by GSK and aided by the Murdoch media empire. “

And this from Hangthebankers (same content).

“The prime minister’s decision to strip welfare payments from parents who do not want to vaccinate their children may or may not have something to do with his friend Rupert Murdoch and his family’s strong connection with pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline.”

If Rupert Murdoch is not personally pushing vaccinations, his media outlets are. He might be assisting big pharma – but is there something else going on here?

Also – don’t governments do want the people want, considering the people voted them in, in the first place?

Realnewsaustralia reported in a “stunning show of Orwellian Doublespeak The Daily Telegraph” (Murdoch), published an article (4/4/15) titled Galaxy Poll: 86 per cent of Australians want childhood vaccinations to be compulsory. The article includes their own poll for readers to take – with the results shown after casting your vote.

Realnewsaustralia’s article, “Poll Backfires on Murdoch’s Pro-Vaccine Agenda“, reports that as of publishing this article the results were as follows (see screen shot image they provided below).

80% of the vote is AGAINST compulsory childhood vaccinations!

“Murdoch’s” article talked about how Australians across the country want their rights removed and to have no say in what is injected into their children, but the poll in their own article shows the complete opposite!

I am sure 84 year old Rupert Murdoch has little interest in whether 4 year old Johny in Humpybong, Queensland is vaccinated or not. So the question is – Who is nudging the Murdoch and the Murdoch media to poke PM Tony Abbott to prod Minister Scott Morrison to push vaccinations onto the (reluctant) Australian population?

  1. I’d just like to ask our readers, even thouogh I know it’s unfair of me to ask, if they would please comment only on Dalia’s final query –“Who is nudging Murdoch to poke Abbott?”
If everybody would please donate their two cents on that, this webiste would be a gift from God.

    • I am replying here to Ned’s comment about financial motives, re Big Pharma. That is not what is behind this. No matter how much money the vaccine industry might make, that is not what is driving the vax thing.
i repeat my request: look further into who is nudging Rupe.
Rupe is not the ultimate nudger. He is but a nudgee.
Have another look at Dalia’s recent post re Lord Milner. Or an earlier one where she noted that even Tons-of-Gold Cecil may have been acting under instructions.
Better yet, read Charles Creighton’s entry on “Vaccination” in the 1875 Encyclopedia Britannica. It’s at whale.to, and is discussed in my freely-downloadable book “Consider the Lilies: A Review of 18 Cures for Cancer and Their Legal Status.”
I feel certain I have interpreted the situation correctly.
      What fools we mortals be.

    • I think Murdoch needs no nudging. He’s always used his media empire to push whatever agenda suits him and his big business buddies. In this case, GSK are obvious partners in crime (against humanity) and the profit motive is as far as I’d bother looking.
Vaccines make GSK money. Sick people (particularly long term sick people from vaccines) make them more money.
While corporations exist with the major motive of making profits, they will risk benefit analyse every move and do whatever makes more money, reguardless of the law or morals.

  2. This topic was also covered by this site on 13th April 2015 and the article and comments might be noted by the Polly staffers and ‘The Daily Telecrap’ artists.
By the way, has the Murdock empire any direct financial interests in vaccine producers or any side interests, such as from advertisng the vaccine industry?
Perhaps some intrepid MSM journo might look up how much has been paid out by big pharmacy for adverses side affects from vaccines. Sometime ago I noted at http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/ that some thing like, over 60 million has been dished out to vaccine victims.
Wonder if the Telecrap journos and pollies give a stuff about that report.

  3. I made several attempts to get some discussion on the Lateline report “Lethal Secrets” at the Anti Anti-Vax facebook page but the administrator banned me.

This is a reflection of the bizarre nature of the vaccine debate.

This was a group that was agitating strongly against the Tenpenny Tour.

This development in the UK courts is also noteworthy.

Jct: It’s why paying tax up front is so much worse than at the back end. Up front, they can make you jump through hoops to get it back. At the back end, not so much clout. So take your government-sponsored untested poisons or lose a fortune. And you voted for them.
